Chapter 25: The Final Stand
She drops to the ground with a thud, the sudden feeling of small pebbles and dirt rubbing at her raw skin causes her to tremble in pain. She coughs repeatedly, the remnants of the gunk that remained in her mouth, causing her to choke. Her coughs were painful, as each heave scratched at her dry throat.
When the pain slowly settled, and coughing came to a stop Sera looked at her surroundings, realizing that she was outside. The night sky was dark and the air cold, the large empty space where she had landed was full of rubble, likely remnants of buildings that once stood not far from here.
The villains around her cough and shout as they regain their senses, realizing that they had been released from the confines of Kamui Woods' quirk.
"What the— ?" Toga Himiko asks, hand covering her mouth as the disgusting remnants of the gunk that had enveloped her bombarded her senses.
"Something stinks!" Twice hollers, looking all around him as he tries to figure where they were.
"Master." She hears Tomura Shigaraki's familiar voice say, the sound barely above a whisper.
"Apologies Bakugou, Hideyoshi-san." She heard a familiar voice say. His voice was a bit off, the sound a bit muffled under his mask, but it was still able to make her body tremble, as she flashbacks of the hell hole he pushed her into resurfaced.
'All For One.'
She uses whatever strength she had left to get up, her bloody scratched hands pressing against the uneven ground in order to gain some semblance of balance. She stumbles as she does this, knees shaking under her weight.
But when she finally got up, she was only stable for a few seconds before her knees buckled beneath her. She falls to the ground, landing on her knees, her vision blurring and her head pounding. She places both hands on the ground in front of her, trying to stop her upper body from falling. She feels another wave of exhaustion fall over her, as her body begs her to rest.
'Not now,' She thinks, 'I can't fall now.'
"You've failed again, Tomura." She hears All For One say, "But you mustn't lose heart. There will be more chances to set things right. That's why I've brought along your little band. So try again…do it as many times as you need too." He walks closer to his pupil, his steps slow and steady, but his aura was like a beacon, dark and menacing as it was, All For One had all eyes focused on him, "That's what I'm here to help you do. It's all for you."
Besides her, she can see Bakugou tremble, as the sheer presence of the man unnerves everyone present.
Sera's hand clenched from where they were on the ground, the loose dirt clumping together in her deathlike hold. She feels herself tremble in pure hate, as she hears his voice, cursing at herself for even considering his offer. It is only now that she realized how utterly foolish she was.
All For One was a villain.
The most terrible villain to have existed since the quirk era started.
A villain who created the monster that was Shigaraki Tomura.

Toru breaths as quietly as she could, her back pressed against the wall.
The black and white of her mime outfit (how that ended up in a clothing store she has no idea) clings to her skin, as cold sweat drips down her back. She has no idea what the villain looks like, has no idea who he even is, but she knows one thing.
His mere presence made what happened at USJ felt like childs play.
She can see Midoriya trembling right next to her, his fists clenched so hard that she wouldn't be surprised if it started to bleed.
Toru can hear the villains' voices but hears no sound that she could correlate to Sera. From what the terrifying villain says, Sera was definitely there, along with Bakugou.
'But how do we even get them?!' She mentally screams in frustration.
There were too many villains out there, and it was unlikely that they would be able to escape unscathed. They wouldn't be able to go against so many villains, especially with a villain like a man who completely destroyed Best Jeanist, the number 4 hero like it was nothing.
Suddenly, from the corner of her eye she notices a sharp movement, whipping her head around she sees Iida holding his arm in front of Midoriya and Todoroki, eyes screaming begging them to stop. Both freeze and Toru realizes what they were planning on doing.
She puts a hand on Midoriya's shoulder and shakes an invisible head, the beret on her head being the only notifier of her gesture.
'No.' Is what her body language tells them, 'Too risky.'
Midoriya freezes, not moving for a few seconds, battling internally with himself in an attempt to find a way out of this situation.
Toru furrows her eyebrows, trying her best to come up with a solid plan. Stealth was supposed to be her specialty, something she was good at, if not the best.
She could do this.
She had too.
Her best friend was out there, all alone.
Cold, tired, and probably scared.
'Sera…what would she do?'
But before she could begin pondering once again the main villain spoke.
"You're here aren't you."

The sharp whistling of wind is the only warning she gets before All Might arrives, fist pulled back in an attack towards his greatest rival. "You're gonna give it all back, All For One!"
"Here to kill me again, All Might?" All For One asks, as calm as ever.
The ground shakes as they collide, sending Sera and everyone in the perimeter flying back. Sera flew a few dozen meters bouncing and hitting her head against a piece of rubble. Her vision becomes blurry as colors dance in front of her eyes. Her hair is slick with sweat and blood. The rubble that she just slammed into had cracked her skull, and she could feel the blood dripping down her neck.
All strength leaves her body as she lays still on the ground, not enough energy in her to move a muscle. She can feel the rubble digging into her wounds, bacteria trying to make its way into her bloodstream.
'If it isn't an infection that gets me, It'll be the blood loss.' She thinks, coughing out another mouthful of blood.
"I had expected you to be here much later, All Might. But you seem even stronger than before." She hears All For One says, and looks up to see the man staring at his sworn enemy, "It was that girl, wasn't it? Her quirk has boosted whatever remnants of One For All you have left."
All Might glares at his rival, fury in his eyes, "Don't you talk about her."
All For One stares at his rival before smiling behind his mask, "I gotta say All Might I never would have imagined that such a quirk could even exist. The second I heard about it, I just had to have it. If it wasn't for Tomura wanting some revenge on the girl, I would have taken her quirk right then like I did with Ragdoll."
"You bastard!" All Might says, "You cannot defeat me! With this boost, I am even more powerful than I was before. You on the other hand should you be even up and standing in the state that you are in?"
"You may be powerful now All Might, but even with that augmentation, you cannot augment what is no longer there. One For All is at its limit, you may not hold out much longer." All For One says calmly.
"I'm not making the same mistakes I did last time All For One, this time I'm taking Bakugou and Hideyoshi, and this time I'm smashing you into a prison cell! You and your little league of villains!" All Might declared jumping at All For One his speed seemingly invisible to the naked eye.
All For One quickly activates his quirk, sending a blastwave that destroyed dozens of buildings in a second. But All Might who the attack was directed at, held his ground, sliding back a few meters.
"I have to say All Might, I am a little jealous." All For One exclaims, arm enlarging at the multitudes of quirks he had stacked on it, "That was an air cannon plus springlike limbs kinetically boosted by four and strength enhanced by three and yet it can't match up to that girl's one quirk. "
He turns to Shigaraki, "You need to flee Tomura and take the boy and the girl with you. Don't hurt the girl anymore, she cannot die. Her quirk will be very useful to you. Kurogiri will help with your escape."
Hearing his words Sera half-closed eyes tremble in desperation, the images of her days in that metal room flashing through her mind. She can see the compress man looking for her, his eyes scouring the rubble and everywhere in between.
'But he won't make it.' She thinks, 'My injuries are too severe.'
She can already feel herself slipping away, as darkness clouds her vision. Sera's vision blurs, and for the first time in her life, she realizes that this is probably where she dies.
But she can't die.
Now now...not when she was so close to safety.
'no…' She thinks weakly, 'no….I can't die...not now…'
'I need to survive.'
'Survive.'
The compress man was getting close.
'In order to survive... I need…'
'I need my quirk to be stronger.'
Her hand stretches out towards the ground in front of her. She can feel sweat (or was it blood) drip down her temple as she pulls at her quirk trying to force it to work. Whatever strength left in her body is gone. She was being pulled along by sheer willpower alone.
'Stronger.'
5 meters.
'Stronger.'
'I need to live.'
'For my parents…'
3 meters.
'For everyone who's depending on me…'
'For all the people I have yet to save…'
'I'm gonna save myself.'
1 meter.
'And the villains…'
'They need too…..'
His hand was hovering right above her, quirk about to activate.
'DIE.' A voice in her mind finishes for her.
Sera doesn't have time to even think before an invisible force of energy suddenly explodes out of her, sending the compress man flying. She stands up from the rubble, a blank expression on her face as if she was in a daze. She could feel her wounds heal quicker but her energy reserves were still low.
Seeing Mr. Compress blown away, Toga rushes at Sera with a knife, ready to take her down once more. Impassively she raised a hand towards her, not flinching when the knife in her hand stabbed through her palm. Holding Toga's hand tightly she feels the flowing life energy inside her.
'I nEeD tHiS.'
Without warning, she begins to suck the energy from her at a rapid pace. Each wave of energy filling her with euphoria. Her eyes glowed a strange green for a split second and the pace of her absorption grows quicker.
'MoRe.'
'MORE.'
'MORE!'
It is only when Toga's face turns ashen pale that Sera realized what she was doing. Breaking out of her daze, she pulls away from Toga, watching as the blonde girl collapses to the ground, her pale face regaining some color.
Sera's hand shakes as she stares in pure horror.
'What was that?!'
She had completely lost control and she was sure that if she kept absorbing her life energy for just a bit longer Toga would have died.
But before she could question what the hell was happening a loud boom woke her from her thoughts. Looking up she sees All Might and All For One colliding once again, the air pressure built up from their attacks sent her skidding back a few inches, a far cry from the dozens of meters before.
With the life energy absorbed from Toga, her injuries had healed about two thirds. It would have healed more but she withheld some energy for later use. Her other injuries could be healed later. The only thought on her mind right now was survival.
She needed to survive this.
She quickly looks around trying to find her fellow captee. After a few seconds, she spots him a few dozen meters away surrounded by villains. Narrowing her eyes, Sera sends some energy into her legs strengthening her muscles. Like a bullet she makes her way to where he is, sending a well-timed kick towards the back of Twice's head before landing in a crouch next to him.
Seeing her, a wide smirk appeared on his lips, "You're finally up, I was beginning to think I was gonna have to go and save you."
She ignores his snide remark, noticing the relieved look in his eyes, "You seemed to be having trouble escaping so I thought I might come and help." She turns around just in time to send a blade flying towards Shigaraki, missing, but it is enough to push him back.
'We can't let them take us.' She thinks, clenching a fist, 'We need to get out of here.'
"Tch," Bakugou scoffs, his shoulders relaxing, "I was just about to take care of these small fries before you showed up Short Stack."
Sera chuckles at his words, a small smile appearing on her lips, "Whatever you say Bakugou."
Sera didn't have a lot of energy, so she had to preserve it as best as she could. She would need to replenish or else she wouldn't be able to fight them off.
'I can't fall now! Not now!'
Dozens of meters away, All Might and All For One continue their exchange, a crater having form where they stood. They were equally matched, something that All For One didn't expect. He had to give credit where credit was due, Hideyoshi Sera's quirk was truly the apex of healing quirks.
Sera dodges an attack from Spinner, her body beginning to tire from the excess movement. Her muscle mass had decreased drastically from her days spent captured. Despite it only being 3 and a half days she hadn't eaten a thing in that time span yet she constantly overused her quirk.
Sera frowns, the adrenaline in her veins slowly fading as a familiar wave of exhaustion fills her. Next to her, she can see Bakugou frowning, sweat dripping down his forehead as he tries to dodge a barrage of attacks.
'We won't last much longer,' She thinks, a frown forming on her face. She would use her newfound ability, but what happened with Toga earlier had made her stop. She couldn't risk killing someone, not even a villain. 'A plan. We need a plan.'
But what would they do?
'I can boost Bakugou so he could propel us into the sky,' She thinks before a loud explosion disrupts her thoughts.
"Stop daydreaming Short Stack!" Bakugou shouts, "We're fighting villains here if you don't realize."
"I know," She says, quietly, "I was just trying to come up with a plan." She dodges an attack from Twice sending a kick his way that sends him flying, "We both know we won't last much longer like this. If we keep staying here, we'll get in All Might's way."
Bakugou scoffs but doesn't argue, sending another explosion to ward off Shigaraki. Guarding each other's backs, Sera feels her anxiety rise as the villains surround them. Bakugou uses his explosions to propel him into the air, dodging.
"Bakugou," She whispers, her voice firm, "I'm gonna jump on your back and boost you. Then you propel us to th— ."
She is interrupted when a loud boom sounds out nearby, whipping her head to look she sees a wall from a nearby building completely destroyed. Dashing out from behind the wall were three people she happened to know very well. She widens her eyes in shock as she stares at them, almost getting hit by one of Twice's attacks.
A mountain of ice appears out of nowhere, and she could guess who had made it. The trio of red, green, and blue run up the mountain of ice like a bullet, before propelling themselves off the edge and high into the sky. This plan had Midoriya written all over it.
"COME ON!" Kirishima yells, hands reaching out to them.
'They came!'
"Short Stack get on!" Bakugou exclaims in a hurry and she wastes no time latching on to his back. Seeing the villains about to jump them, she gathers her remaining energy to fuel Bakugou as he activates his quirk. Knowing that she was about to experience something reminiscent of what happened at the Sports Festival, Sera clung onto Bakugou as tightly as she could. Not wanting to risk even the slightest chance of falling.
The air around them heats up as Bakugou's quirk causes his hands to glow orange. With a loud BOOM, he blasts off into the air soaring towards Kirishima. As she looks down to see the villains becoming smaller and smaller a joyous sense of relief fills her as she clutches tighter.
The wind whipped her hair into a frenzy as they soar through the sky. She sniffs a little as a burnt sugary smell assaults her nose. She blinks in confusion for a few seconds wondering if there was a bakery nearby.
"You idiots!" Bakugou exclaims, latching onto Kirishima's hands. His other hands, exploding small blasts downward in an attempt to lessen the weight.
"You guys came!" She whispers, if she could she would be crying but she had no more tears to spare after everything that had happened.
"Of course we would!" Kirishima exclaims, looking back at them, "You didn't think we'd leave you hanging right?"
Sera smiles softly and she wants to sob but has no energy left in her to do so. The wind whipped her hair into a frenzy as they soar through the sky.
Sera tightens her hold on Bakugou as they begin to descend sharply, their momentum slowing down.
"Bakugou-kun," Iida shouts, "On my mark, make an explosion!"
But Bakugou, ever so true to his nature despite the situation, quickly refused, "You match my mark!" He shouts, scowling at Iida.
"Bitch just do it!" Sera shouts, her stomach dropping as they come closer to the ground, "I just escaped from the clutches of hell, and if I die like this I'M HAUNTING YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!" She screams out the last part as they descend even quicker.
"What'd you call me?!" Bakugou shouts, but his other hand glows brightly as he propels them upward once again.
"REPULSION BREAKUP...MOONLIGHT FLIT CANNON!" She hears a voice shout out behind them, turning around she sees the familiar figure of compress man soaring towards them.
'Shit!' She thinks trying to think of any way to deter him. But, luckily for her, she didn't need to. Down below the fallen form of Mt. Lady rose slowly.
Her figure blocking the path of Mr. Compress, "TITAN CLIFF!" She shouts, right before collides with her face. Unfortunately for her even though she successfully saved them, her nose was surely broken by the collision. Unable to handle the pain and the force of the collision she falls sideways, "Prioritize the rescue…" She says weakly, falling to the ground with a loud crash, "Go...stupid kids!"
Sera smiles gratefully at the woman, before letting out a relieved sigh. Slowly using Bakugou as their propeller, the group made their way past the destroyed parts of Kamino Ward, and into the safe confines of the destruction free area.
Unfortunately for them, even with Bakugou there they landed with a crash in one of the back trodden alleys of the busy city center of Kamino ward. Sera groans in pain as she pushes herself off of Bakugou, counting herself lucky that she wasn't Kirishima, who was at the bottom of the pile.
"You guys good?" She asks, hand on her knees as she tries to catch her breath. The adrenaline had faded, and now she was hit with exhaustion.
"Yeah, we're good," Kirishima says, as he gets up.
"How did you guys know where we were?" Sera asks, "Did you follow the heroes?"
"No," Midoriya says, shaking his head, "Yaoyorozu put a tracker on one of the Nomus during the attacks. We had her make a tracker for us."
Sera blinked in surprise, feeling a rush of gratefulness towards the black-haired girl, "Is she here?" She asks.
Iida nods, "Yaoyorozu-san is with Todoroki-kun and Toru-san. They should be meeting up with us soon."
"Toru?" Sera asks in surprise, she blinks for a few moments before whipping her to Midoriya, "Did she give you—"
"Yeah," Midoriya says, not waiting for her to finish, "She did."
Kirishima realized what they were talking about and jumped in excitedly, "It was all thanks to those pills you left Midoriya, Sera-chan! Midoriya and Iida used one so Midoriya could propel us high enough without injuring himself while Iida used one to improve his engine speed!"
"That's good." She whispers, she lets go of her knees trying to stand up straight, but sways a bit as she does. When it looks like she's about to collapse Bakugou holds a hand on her shoulder, steadying her.
"Are you stupid, why'd you pour so much energy into boosting me." He remarks, glaring at her.
She gives him a small tired smile, "I had to make sure you were able to send us up high enough."
"Are ya lookin down on me now?!" Bakugou shouts, but she knew he held no malice.
She turns to Midoriya, "Do you still have the pill bottle with you?" She asks.
Midoriya nods, pulling a familiar blue bottle out of his pocket, "Yes, here you go Sera-chan." He stares at her torn clothes, finally noticing the amount of blood on it.
'She was injured, very injured.' He thinks, realizing why Bakugou had said that earlier.
Sera opens the cap and quickly pops in one of the pills. Immediately she could feel the rest of her internal injuries healing, and her energy was restored. The energy she gained from Toga wasn't much, it at best healed 35% of her injuries. But with the pill, she was pretty sure that all of her injuries could be healed. Concussions, fractures, and organs that were not fully grown, she had hundreds of injuries that were unable to be fully healed due to her regeneration not working.
'I really need to stop wasting so many of them.' She thinks, 'But even my pill was completely used up in healing the rest of my injuries.'
"Sera-chan, are you okay?" Iida asks her, "You aren't looking very good."
No energy left in her body, Sera could only nod weakly. She slowly follows the group out of the alley. They headed towards a giant billboard displaying All Might's battle with All For One. Next to her Midoriya holds up a phone, talking to Todoroki and the rest.
"The rescue was successful!" Kirishima exclaims from next to her.
"Look, it's not like I got saved or anything!" Bakugou exclaims, yelling at Kirishima, "It's just that you guys were the best options I had!"
Kirishima didn't seem bothered by Bakugou's attempt at brushing off his efforts, only shooting him a thumb up, "Good choice!"
"Mostly, I just didn't wanna get in All Might's way…" Bakugou muttered.
Sera smiled a bit at his words, but her smile disappeared as she stared at the screen. All Might was fighting All For One and he looked to be worse for wear. His signature hairdo was drooping and his muscle mass was ever so slowly decreasing. Her tired expression slowly morphs into one of pure horror as she realizes what was happening on screen.
'One For All is disappearing.' She thinks, suddenly that the inevitable future that she had been imagining didn't seem so far away anymore.
"No…" She whispers under her breath, wishing it wasn't true. But, it was. She could see it in the way All Might was slower, was weaker, in the way that golden glow that should have covered him dimmed.
'That pill is the only thing keeping him holding on right now. His quirk is gone, only the embers are left.'
The people around her look wide-eyed at the screen, even Bakugou had his eyes glued to the fight. As the two clashed on screen the smoke blocked the camera's view. When the smoke was finally blown away, there, in the middle of the battlefield was All Might.
Sera clenches her fist, trying to stop her hand from shaking.
'No….All Might…'
This time though, instead of his mighty powerful form that everyone in the world was all too familiar with. It was a form of a skeleton-like man, that looked nothing like the Symbol of Peace that was the pillar that supported Hero Society.
Everyone around her gasped in surprise questioning who had taken the place of their Symbol of Peace, their number one hero. She looks over at Midoriya on her right, seeing his ashen face at the reveal of his teacher's true form.
"Um..are you seeing this, viewers? All Might...he's all shriveled up.." The voice of the broadcaster says, from her tone Sera can tell she is shocked.
'But why am I shocked?' She thinks, 'I have known, far longer than most that All Might was going to retire. Was going to fall. Yet...why am I so shocked?'
'Because you wished it wasn't true.' A familiar voice says, 'Because even though you knew, even though you warned him. A part of you hoped everything would be okay, and that he would continue and the world would stay as it is.'
She widens her eyes, as she lets the words sink in. The voice was right, she had been partially in denial. Hoping that All Might could last longer, hoping that he would be able to pull through and last longer than a month. But now it was obvious that that wouldn't be happening. All Might will retire after today if he even survives.
The world will go through a great change from today onward. She could already imagine it, the Symbol of Peace was all gone, and now the villains shall rise.
Sera has not known the number 1 hero for very long. She has only known him for half a year at most. But he had an important place in her heart. It was him after all who had set her on the path of being a hero. In a way, he was the type of hero she aspired to be. Someone who could save people, from the goodness of their heart despite everything in the world that went against them.
With a quirk like One For All, he was a bit like her in a way. Someone with a quirk that was better hidden from the world.
Yet he became a hero.
He put away his fears, his paranoia, and bet everything into becoming a hero. A hero that everyone could depend on. A symbol that would scare villains into hiding.
As cliche as it was, All Might was her hero. Someone who she aspired to be, someone who crawled his way into her life and became her motivation.
But now he was going to lose.
She could see it in his tired shoulders, his slowing steps, and his swaying figure. It was an image all too familiar to her, an image ingrained in her soul. The desperate look in his eyes, one that was reminiscent of the one she wore 3 months ago at the USJ.
'All Might was at his last clutch…'
She releases herself from Kirishima's and Midoriya's hold on her shoulder, stepping closer to the screen.
'You can't fall All Might. Fight it. Keep fighting…'
"All Might..win.." She mutters. The people around her cry as they watch their hero of over 3 decades go against what could be the greatest villain of all time.
"If you don't beat this guy.." A voice says, "I don't think anyone can.."
"All Might! You can do it!"
"He may look different but he's still our All Might, right?!"
"He always manages to come out on top!"
"You can do it, All Might!"
"D-Don't you dare lose, All Might!"
"YOU CAN DO IT!"
Everyone around her screamed as they cheered on for All Might, and Sera finally lets her tears drop as she stares at the skeletal figure of the man she healed all those months ago. "YOU CAN WIN IT ALL MIGHT!" She screams on the top of her lungs, as tears flow down her cheeks.
'Without you, I wouldn't have been a hero. You may have not meant it, but you didn't only help Midoriya become a hero you helped me too. So…'
"WIN ALL MIGHT!"
On-screen All Might stares at All For One arm growing the size of his muscular form. Seeing it Sera knows this is the last confrontation. Seeing them on opposite sides of the battlefield a thought suddenly comes into her mind.
'This is a battle of good and evil.'
The two-run towards each other, colliding in a shockwave that broke the crater they were in even more.
'The confrontation between villainy and heroics.'
All For One gains an upper hand as he knocks All Might back.
'This battle signals the end of an era…'
All Might rises and rushes at All For One again, this time pushing in every bit of energy he had left.
'And the beginning of a new one.'
"UNITED STATES OF SMASH!"
The crowd in front of the billboard is silent, all of them with wide eyes and opened mouths, hoping, praying, that All Might is the victor.
When the smoke clears and the result is shown no one makes a sound. The figure on the screen, hunched and bleeding, working on his last bit of energy, slowly but surely raises a fist into the air.
The crowd around Sera that had stayed silent the entire time breaks into reverberating cheers. She stays silent, taking labored breaths as she stares at the figure of All Might on screen,
"ALL MIGHT!"
Sera stares in a daze at the screen, taking in every detail and ingraining the image into her mind.
'Good has once again beaten evil…'
"The villain is out cold! He won! All Might won! He's really won! He's still standing!" The announcer sounded close to tears as she said it, no one could blame her though, everyone watching was in tears.
Suddenly as everyone prepares to start the evacuation and save the people trapped in the buildings, All Might who had been standing their silent points a finger at the camera.
Everyone watching and at the scene, freezes, their eyes locked onto All Might skeleton-like form.
"Now...It's your turn."
'But the question is…'
Sera widens her eyes at the camera, as the crowd around her cheers once more. The meaning of his words was one she knew all too well, and looking over at Midoriya it seemed like he understood too. She watched as he stared at the form of his mentor, large tears filling his eyes.
'Will it continue to do so?'

AN: This chapter is kinda crazy...sorry for the sorta maybe cliffie. I just love them :) Anyways the season finale is next chapter. I'm just gonna tell you guys now after chapter 26 is posted I'll be going on break. Cause I've spent the last 2 1/2 months grinding out 26 chapters for you guys and I'm completely exhausted.
I'll be taking a 3-4 month break. Which means I should be back by November or December. During that time I'll be building up a stockpile so I can give you guys quick updates (1 chapter every week or 2) and so I can rest between chapters.
Also, leave LOTS OF LONG REVIEWS they motivate me. Like I read every single one of them, and honestly, they are my #1 motivator for writing so yeah. How to get quicker updates? More reviews. Longer chapters? More reviews. Tell me what you like about the story, what you don't like, how it makes you feel, etc.
This info makes me feel more connected to you guys as a writer and understand any holes and errors in my writing and character development. You have no idea how many ideas I've gotten for this story by reading reviews (looking at you TheVulcanNara)

DBZx Skyfall: A part of her wants to forgive them because they tried their best. Because she thinks its selfish of her to hate them when they tried their best to rescue her. The other part...well :) that's a VERY BIG theme in the next season of the novel. Don't take everything you read about her feelings at face value, there's a lot of things going on behind the scenes.

Shaine26 (ch.12): Her quirk controls the health of an organism, so Bio and Vita work since they both mean life. Vitakinesis is the manipulation of health, Biokinesis is the manipulation of Life which is a bit to all-encompassing for her quirk since it can mean animals, plants, etc.

Animie02Fruit: Sera went through some very traumatic events in that chamber and tbh I left out some bits because I didn't know how to describe it in a way that did her justice. She went partially insane in that chamber, and if you succeeded in catching my hints from earlier chapters you'll realize how she's so calm in this chapter.

Alexs Avila: They won't be seeing the recordings, Shigaraki would have sent them but the heroes came too quickly. Sera's parents will be showing up next chapter :)

frazzleChips: I calculated the time as accuratlly as I could. 82 hours, is pretty much 3 and half days. With the 4-5 hours from when they were kidnapped to the 2 1/2 days Midoriya spent at the hospital additionally the 8-12 hours from when the class met to nighttime, it adds to around that much give or take a few hours.

[Ch.1] I low key dislike how unrealistic emotionally some characters are, but then again this is anime. But I tried to make my character as relatable as emotionally as possible. Sera is just like any other kid (other than her quirk) so she tries her best and sometimes she runs away.
[Ch.4] Middle school is before is highschool. But her parents were in their third year, which makes them around 15. Since the third year of middle school in Japan is quivelent to a 9th grader in the US. They aren't that young, just a bit younger than the usual dating age.
[Ch.17] Maybe...if the support for it is enough I might do it.
[Ch.20] The tower was the first time she's ever lead a team like that or taken charge in a situation like that. It was why she tried so hard because it reminded her of USJ and her failures there. As for the sword, all she does is swing bc she has like no experience whatsoever. Sera knows nothing about sword arts, only basics in martial arts and hand to hand combat. She may have a sword but she knows little about how to use it. Someone with just a bit of knowledge can easily disarm her. Not that much of an upgrade.
[Ch.21] yeah...she isn't seeing the future. the dream was just foreshadowing for what was coming. I don't like future seeing stuff since it's annoyingly hard to write out well. I wrote it in as foreshadowing since dreams are a common way of doing it (puella magica, naruto, etc)

[Ch.7]: Thank you! I tried making her as realistic as I possibly could, which means she has lots of character development coming her way.
[Ch.24]: Her experience being kidnapped definitely left scars. It's just no one can see them, even though they're looking. If part 1 of the novel was following canon then part 2 definitely follows Sera. It will mainly focus on her and how she deals with the aftermath of Kamino Ward.
