Shidou, Yoshino and the marriage
This was a typical scene on a Saturday in this humble one-storey home, but the house had plenty of room in the back, which was not noticeable in the front, nor did it have a garden like other houses in the colony, but there were flowers, natural grass and a tree from which a swing hung from a strong branch, all this in the backyard.
That was the place where, obviously, the boy who lived in this house spent most of his time, he was about four years old, with short blue hair and some blue eyes like the sky. He was being happily swung by his mother, who had long fluffy blue hair, but it was a lighter shade than the boy's, but her eyes were the same and bigger.
"Yuki, just a few more minutes, remember that we must go with Dad for his shift change, your Aunt Mana is already getting ready," explained the young woman as she continued to swing him without much strength to avoid any accidents.
"Yes, Mommy. But why does Daddy have to work until Sunday and you don't?" she asked as she put her legs on the ground and after sliding a little, he managed to stop. "Hm...?"
"Oh, well... that's because Daddy's great at work," she said with a smile and her eyes glowed a little. "The food Dad makes is delicious, isn't it?"
"Ah, that's true, I tried Aunt Mana's once, but I didn't like it much..." he said shyly and looked straight ahead, though he bowed his head a little. "Dad cooks delicious, I don't know how he does it, it must be using magic ingredients."
"Hehe, well, maybe when you're older, he'll show you his magic skills too" she said with a smile and took him in her arms to carry him.
"Ah... But, mommy..." he said as he looked at her as she left the garden to go back inside the house.
"Yes?"
"M-Mommy's food is delicious too." His words next to her slightly tense face made her mother smile warmly, who ended up kissing his forehead softly. "...!"
"Daddy taught Mommy how to cook, Yuki. But if you say that... my food is just as delicious... um... I'm very happy...!"
For Yoshino, her husband was her greatest hero, she could always count on him, both now and in the past, and he was always there for her since she had met him. When she received a compliment like this, she simply couldn't help but blush and become very happy, just like in the past.
Some things never change.
Another clear example of this is that Shidou, for whatever reason, ended up having problems in life, or in this case, his job and all because a certain super famous Idol came up with the idea of saying that: "Shidou's desserts are delicious, go there and try them, maybe you'll find me~".
"Miku, I'm not a baker, I'm a pastry chef and..."
"Nii-sama, I need another strawberry cream cake for table four!" said his younger sister, who looked very much like him and had come in to leave him another order note.
"Another one?! But she already ordered four in less than an hour!" The young man grunted a little and wiped his face with a towel.
This man was Itsuka Shidou, he had somewhat long blue hair because he didn't have time to deal with it, so he tied it up in a little tail using a garter, it was a hygienic measure, as he cooked all the desserts in this bakery. And he dressed like a cook and even wore white cooking gloves.
"Come on, you know Tohka-san is our number one customer, what's wrong with you?" asked the young woman with a little drop on her head. "Miku-san did us a big favor with that free publicity."
"But thanks to that I can't... be with my family on Saturday, Origami was supposed to help me today, but it turns out she got sick, uuh... gosh..." He sighed somewhat heavily.
"Oh, well, yeah... I'm sorry about that, but we didn't see it coming. It's fate's fault, but we can..." At that point, the door where only the staff was to use was opened. Mana turned to see them. "Yoshino-san? Yuki-kun?"
"...!" Shidou opened his eyes wider and came closer to them.
"Dad, are you in trouble...?" he asked worriedly and quietly, Shidou made a bitter smile, typical of him, but shook his head.
"Dad does have problems."
"Yoshino-san...?!" Mana took a step back when she heard that and opened her eyes more directly to her words.
"That's why." Yoshino smiled with determination and approached Shidou to take his hand in hers. "Mommy will help Daddy."
"¡…! Yoshino... that's not fair..." he whispered slightly flushed, but smiled slightly. She shook her head.
"No. I will, so trust me."
Shidou opened his mouth slightly, but nodded as he clenched one of her hands lightly, then smiled more animatedly.
"Thank you, Yoshino."
