Josie stood in the bathroom and thought back to her and Dom's anniversary. Hard to believe it was 2 months ago, it seemed like yesterday. It was a perfect night: a candlelit dinner, Dancing, a walk on the beach under the stars.
When they got back to the house Josie had candles lit all over the bedroom and there was Dom's gift on the bed. She had gotten him a new chain to wear. Dom pulled her gift out of his night stand and she opened it to see a heart necklace engraved for many more to come.
"Dom, I love it. Thank you so much."
Dom kissed her. "Thank you for mine also I wanted to change my chain. Having you though is all the gift I need."
She stood up bringing him with her and she undressed herself for him. He took his clothes off and she left him pick her up and he pinned her against the wall entering her. She loved that feeling. After a bit he took them to the bed and she stayed on top. He loved watching her, she was beautiful. They made love all night that night. They actually stayed in bed the next day also.
The timer went off and she looked down at the stick. She looked in the mirror and smiled.
"Babe where you at?"
"Back in the bathroom."
Dom came in and stood at the door. "What are you doing?"
She turned around and held up the stick.
"Your kidding?"
"Nope. I took 2 to be sure."
He grabbed her in a hug and swung her around. "We gotta tell everyone."
Josie giggled. "We will."
"Now. Let's go tell them now." He grabbed her hand and pulled her from the bathroom.
"I take it you're happy."
He stopped at the door and kissed her. "I'm so happy."
They headed over to Brian and Mia's and Dom left themselves in.
"Where's everyone at?"
Tej came into the living room. "What's up man?"
"Where is everyone?"
"Backyard I think. I was finishing packing so I could move some stuff to Mine and Rome's apartment."
Dom headed to the backyard Josie followed him. Brian and Rome were working on Rome's car and Mia was sitting on the porch going over last minute details for the wedding next week.
"Hey! Got some news!" Dom yelled.
Everyone came over to the porch Mia looked at Josie questioning.
"Me and Josie have some news." He smiled at her.
Josie smiled and Mia caught on right away.
"Oh my god! Yes!" She hugged Josie then Dom then Josie again.
"What's going on?" Brian and the others were confused.
Dom's smile was huge. "We're gonna have more than one new family member coming. Another one is gonna be coming after yours."
Rome clapped and whistled. Brian grabbed Dom in a one armed hug.
"Oh yeah! Awesome!" Tej said.
Tej hugged Josie and gave Dom a man hug. "This is awesome."
"Hey Tej, I bet you they both girls."
"Rome I'm not gonna bet on my friends kids but I think Mia's having a boy and Jo has a girl."
Josie shook her head. "Thought you weren't betting."
"I'm not just stating my opinion."
They all walked in and ordered pizza to celebrate. Mia was so happy she cried.
"Mia, it's okay." Josie hugged her.
"Wait till your hormones take a turn."
Josie laughed. "I'm sure it's not that bad."
Brian put his glass to his lips. "Yes it is." Then he took a drink.
Mia gave him a hard look and he finished his pizza.
When Dom and Josie got home she was exhausted. She took a shower and laid on the bed. Dom came out from his shower and laid beside her but so his head was at her stomach.
"You are gonna be the most spoiled baby there is next to aunt Mia and uncle Brian's. I can't wait to meet you."
Josie smiled. "I don't think the baby can hear you."
"I just want him or her to know they're loved."
"They'll know."
It got out to all the racers that Josie and Mia were expecting. People came by to congratulate them all week.
Josie stood helping Mia with her veil the day of the wedding.
"Are you nervous?"
Mia shook her head. "No. I'm ready."
Josie handed Mia her flowers and then they headed out of the tent to the altar where Brian and the guys were standing. Mia only had Josie standing with her. She and Brian wanted just their family with them. People in the audience turned all their attention on Mia. She got to the front, handed Josie her flowers, and Brian grabbed her hands.
The pastor started. "We gather here today to join these 2 in a union before god. Brian do you take Mia to be your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold from this day forward?"
"I do."
"Mia, do you take Brian to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold from this day forward?"
"I do."
"May I have the rings."
Dom handed them over.
"Brian place this ring on Mia's finger and repeat after me. With this ring I the wed."
"With this ring I the wed." Brian smiled at her.
"Mia repeat after me. With this ring I the wed."
"With this ring I the wed."
"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Brian and Mia kissed as cheers erupted. People clapped and cheered as they made their way back up the aisle and then they all headed to the reception.
Dom danced with Josie and just couldn't stop smiling.
"You're so happy."
"You make me happy. I love you so much and can not wait for this next step in our lives."
He spun her around and then the dance ended. He danced with his sister while Brian danced with Josie.
"Mia Mom and Dad would be so proud of you and happy." Dom started thinking of them.
"They would be with you too."
"I wish they were here."
"Me too. They're never gonna meet their grandchildren. Brian doesn't talk to his parents and Josie doesn't either. Our kids just have us." Mia wiped a tear.
"They'll turn out great. They have more than us. Look at everyone we have."
"That's true." Mia looked around at all the racers that they were close to. "Do you miss racing?"
"Sometimes. I'm where I need to be though and so is Brian. We're retired."
Mia laughed. "Yeah I guess you are."
They finished dancing then they had dinner and cake. It was the perfect day. Dom carried Josie into the house that night sitting her shoes down and carrying her to bed. She was out cold. He laid her down and brushed some hair from her face. He put his hand on her stomach and imagined their baby in there growing. This was what he had always wanted. Him and Josie to have a family. He got up and undressed before helping her out of her dress and covering her up. He held her as he fell asleep with her. Things were good.

Toby sat in his cell and was shocked when they called him for having mail. He marked on his calendar the day off. Another day down. He had 2 more months to go. He got his letter and opened it. He read it and smiled. So Dom and Josie were expecting. How nice. He thought of her stabbing him and then he saw his hands around her throat. He wanted them to pay. Dom killed Trevor and Josie was the reason he and his cousin's were in jail. They didn't deserve to be happy. They deserved to feel pain. He would see to that but in time. He would be the good guy till then.
He re read the letter and laid down. All the thought that ran through his head and the many ways to make them suffer was what kept him going. He had a goal and he would achieve that goal dead or alive. He should've finished it before like his brother said but no he wanted to play it out. Have some fun with her. He made a mistake. One he wouldn't make again. He opened up the letter from the parole board and smiled. He had a date to go up in front of the parole board and tell them how he's changed his ways and he feels nothing but remorse. Tell them exactly what they want to hear and get freedom.

Josie was putting laundry away when Dom texted her.
D: how are you feeling?
It had been a couple weeks since the announcement and morning sickness was kicking in. She couldn't wait to see her doctor.
J: I'm okay. I'm doing laundry then I'm gonna start cleaning out that spare room and get rid of some stuff.
D: Babe don't do that by yourself. Wait till this weekend and we will do it together. I'll have the guys help.
J: Okay. Then I'm just gonna finish cleaning and then I will do nothing.
D: Good that's what you should do nothing.
J: I'm pregnant, I'm not dying.
D: I don't want you to do anything that can hurt you or the baby. You should be resting. Mia rests.
J: Mia has a job and is further along than I am. She doesn't have the energy. I have nothing to do and am going stir crazy.
D: lol. Well try to rest some so you don't over do it. I'll pick up dinner on my way home.
J: Sounds good. Boy I can see what you're gonna be like the next 7 or 8 months. Don't forget my appointment tomorrow also at 1.
D: I got it. Already told Brian I'll be gone tomorrow afternoon. He understands he's in the same position.
J: Okay. I love you.
D: Love you too.
She put her phone down and put the rest of the clothes away. She looked around and wondered how long they would be able to last in her place when the baby came. She had a 1 bedroom but there was a spare room they could turn into a small bedroom for a while for the baby. She sat on the couch and turned on the tv a bit but she had so much energy she just wanted to do something. She decided to go for a walk after a few minutes. Walking was good for her and the baby. When she was done her 30 minute walk she came home and did the dishes then waited for Dom.
Dom got home and brought in italian for dinner.
"That smells so good." She helped him get everything out and then grabbed some plates and utensils so they could eat.
"What did you do after we talked?"
"I went for a walk and then I did the dishes and then I did nothing."
"Good."
"You do know this over protective thing you got going on is gonna get annoying fast."
Dom laughed. "Sorry. I can't help it."
"The doctor tomorrow will tell you I can still do everyday things. I don't need a bubble."
"Okay. No more bubble."
"Thank you."
They ate and watched a little tv then took showers and went to bed.
