Chapter 35: Duel Distractions part 2
That night, Bastion's screams of agony echoed throughout the dark sky as Jaden and the others huddled around a small campfire, taking in the painful cries. Alexis sighed and poked the fire as she said, "I hate to hear Bastion suffering like that and not being able to help,"
As Chazz said, "No joke," As he said, "They've been dueling all night, and from those screams, it sounds like Bastion's been losing all night,"
As Banner asks, "How long can this go on?"
At that point, Jaden rose to his feet as he said, "We gotta do something!"
As Syrus and Chumley said at the same time standing up "Yeah!"
As Stan said, "Well, as we want to, we can't…" As he said, "Besides, the gates are locked tight and climbing it is out of the question."
low rumbling sound began to emanate from the coliseum, making everyone look towards it. As Bree asks, "You were saying?"
As Zeke said, "That was weird."
Syrus slowly moved behind Chumley, as he asks, "What was that…?"
Everyone else watched as a figure slowly walked out of the coliseum gateway, looking beat up, well, emotionally, that is.
And it was Bastion as Jaden said, "Bastion!" Running over to his friend, followed quickly by the others, as he asks, "Bastion, are you ok?"
Bastion only fell to his knees, and Jaden caught him before he could hit his head on anything.
As Syrus asks, "What happened to you in there?"
The only answer was the look in Bastion's eyes.
As Stan said, "He got dumped."
As Jaden asks, "Is that true, Bastion?"
Bastion nodded as he said, "Yes … I'm crushed,"
As Chazz asks, "Crushed? How about lucky?"
As Banner frown as he said, "I don't understand. She was so smitten with you yesterday…"
Bastion sighed and looked up at the sky, as he said, "I know… we were to be married!" Earning surprised looks from the others. As he said, "But she decided I wasn't duelist enough…"
(Flashback)
Bastion fell to the dirt as the last of his Life Points went down to zero. Tania glared at him, as she said, "You call that a duel? You're not worthy… beat it!" Bastion gasped as she said, "I need someone. Someone who is at my level," She turned away from him.
Groaning, Bastion slowly sat up and watched the Amazon duelist walk off towards the inner archway, as he said, "…my love."
(End Flashback)
As Bastion said, "I wasn't good enough for her, and she's left me forever. She said she wants a champion, a duelist who can give her a match that she'll always remember," Everyone looked worried for Bastion as he got up off the ground and wandered back to the Ra dorm.
That afternoon, Bastion stood at a large window in the halls of Duel Academy, looking out at the island. The images of Tania still in his mind as he said in his thought "Tania…"
(Flashback)
As Tania asks while twiddling her fingers "Oh, I'm sorry, am I distracting you again?" As she said, "With all this talk about how much I love you, and how positively handsome you are?" As she said, "There I go again, I should stop!"
Bastion stepped back with his hand over his chest and his face turning a little red.
As Tania said, "I simply can't help myself!" As she said, "I'm simply head over heels!"
Bastion's face turned from serious to a dream–like trance, as he said, "Yes…me too…"
(End Flashback)
Bastion snapped back to reality, holding his head, as he said, "Oh, Tania!"
A few feet away, Jaden, Stan and Alexis were watching. As Alexis said, "I've never seen him like this. I had no idea he had fallen that hard over her."
As Jaden said, "Yeah…" As he said, "Really, it's kinda freaky to see Bastion of all people to do that over a girl,"
As Stan said, "Jaden, love is a lot more complicated than you think it is."
As Jaden asks, "What do you mean by that?"
As Stan said, "Well, for Bastion's case, he's unbalanced love and dueling altogether. He didn't keep his emotions in check, thus got Bastion to be completely distracted and Tania took advantage of it. Like anger, it can cloud your judgment and you make poor decision. If you keep it together, you'll make the right decision, regardless of what situation you're in."
As Jaden said, "Huh…"
Bastion entered the Obelisk Duel Arena and stopped shortly after, seeing a crowd of people there, waiting for him. Jaden, Syrus, Chumley, Chazz, Stan, Kenji, Blake, Zeke, Bree, Alexis, Casandra, Banner and even Zane were looking at him quietly.
As Bastion asks, "What do the lot of you want?"
Jaden held up his deck as he said, "A duel to cheer you up, man, how about it?"
As Bastion said, "I can't…" As he said, "It's too soon for me."
As Jaden said, "Aw, c'mon, you gotta move on Bastion!"
Bastion looked at him as he said, "I just can't duel… without my Tania…"
As Stan said, "Bastion."
Blade, Sailor Moon, Sailor Mars and Tuxedo Mask appeared as Blade said, "Stan, he's just heartbroken."
As Sailor Mars said, "Yeah, even when someone you like turns you down for another person."
As Tuxedo Mask said, "Yeah,"
As Sailor Moon said, "Tania, that's just wrong!"
As Jaden said, "Bastion, I hate saying this, but she's probably dueling someone else besides you,"
Bastion let out a light gasp, then shook his head, as he said, "No, she wouldn't! Not my Tania!"
As Chazz said, "Oh, gag me…"
As Bastion said, "You don't understand!" As he said, "We had passion!"
As Jaden asks, "Uh…excuse me, what?"
Bastion looked up at the ceiling, the smitten look never leaving for a second, as he said, "When I first dueled Tania, there were fireworks between us! You saw how our cards danced that dangerous Duel Monsters dance together! It was beautiful, majestic… and if I can't have that feeling when I duel… then," His shoulders slumped as he said, "My life dueling… it's all finished,"
As Zane said, "But Bastion, she's a Shadow Rider!" As he said, "We have the world to save! We need you!"
As Bree asks, "And you're saying that you're done?"
As Alexis said, "You may have lost your key; but that doesn't mean you can't continue helping out the rest of us."
As Stan said, "Alexis is right, Bastion, we need you to help us…"
Bastion looked at Stan and Alexis as he said, "I thought you two would understand…"
As Stan and Alexis ask at the same time "Huh?"
As Bastion said, "You two are in love; wouldn't you understand about dueling with passion?"
As Stan said, "Yeah, but the passion of dueling came first; before Alexis and I were together."
As Alexis said, "It's true."
As Bastion said, "Sorry, as much as all of you require my Deck, until I prove to Tania that I'm a worthy man, my dueling days are through now and forever!"
As Chazz said, "Alright, that's it. I'm gonna go to the bathroom and hurl…"
As Jaden said, "Just go and ask her for a rematch,"
As Bastion asks, "Rematch?"
As Jaden said, "And don't take no for an answer!" As he said, "You're a tough guy, and I'll even be your wingman!"
Back at the coliseum, Tania was angry and pounded her chest like a gorilla. As she said, "This Island has nothing but weaklings! I need a worthy partner, someone who isn't intimidated by my power!" She punched a nearby wall a few times, and then jump kicked the ceiling, sending a chunk of rock crashing to the floor, scaring her tiger out of its wits. As she said, "If that duelist can't find me, then I'll find him!"
Leaving the room, her tiger followed after her, while the ceiling fell in behind them.
As Syrus asks, "Jaden, don't you wanna go to bed?"
Syrus yawned as he watched his roommate shift through his deck that night. He and Chumley had climbed into bed, but Jaden didn't even change into his pajamas, he was doing something with his cards with Stan.
As Jaden said, "Not yet, I'm working on a strategy to help out Bastion," As he said, "Just call me Cupid,"
As Stan said, "I'm not sure about that."
As Chumley asks, "Strategy?" As he asks, "How's about a good night's rest?"
They heard knocking at the door which made Jaden rise up.
As Stan asks, "Wonder who it is?"
Then the voice said, "Jaden! Open up!"
Jaden looked through the peephole of his door and saw that Bastion was at his doorstep. As Jaden said, "Bastion!" He pulled the door open all the way, as he asks, "What are you doing here?"
As Bastion said, "The rematch, Jaden! Why aren't you ready yet!?"
As Jaden asks, "You mean…now?"
Jaden and Bastion ran towards the coliseum, followed by the rest of the gang, including Crowler. As Jaden asks, "Couldn't have this waited until morning?!"
As Bastion shouted "NO! TANIA!"
As Syrus said, "Wait up!" He and the others caught up to them, as he said, "Not…fast…like…you guys,"
As Alexis said, "Thought you two could use the extra help."
As Jaden said, "Thanks, guys…" A loud growling made them all look off to the side, startled.
As Bastion said, "Tania." He stepped forward, duel disk at the ready.
Tania shook her head, as she asks, "Can't you take a hint? I already dumped you, don't you remember?"
As Jaden said, "He wants a rematch!"
As Tania said, "He can't have one," She looked at Jaden as she said, "But you seem quite brave…,"
Jaden sweat dropped, grinning, as he said, "I do? But, I'm here for my friend,"
As Tania said, "He already lost. I duel you, or there's no duel at all!"
As Jaden said, "I never back down from a challenge. I'll do it for Bastion!"
Everyone stared at Jaden, not one of them believing what they had just heard.
As Bastion asks, "What?!"
Casandra closed her eyes and slowly shook her head, as he said, "Oh no…"
With everyone else at the sidelines watching, Jaden and Tania stood in the middle of the coliseum, the pale moonlight bathing the area.
Tania held up her two decks, as she said, "You know the rules, you lose this duel, you lose your Spirit Key and your single status. Meaning you move here to this arena with me and become my husband forever!"
Chazz glared at the two of them, as he said, "Jaden, I hope you know what you're doing!"
As Jaden said, "Of course I do, Chazz," As he said, "When I'm done, Bastion will know that you won't have to be in love to duel with passion!"
As Tania asks, "What do ya say we start this, hone?" Tania held up one of her deck as she said, "I used my Knowledge deck against your friend, so I think I'll use my Courage deck against you,"
As Jaden said, "Fine by me!"
They both inserted their decks into their duel disks. As they shouted at the same time "LET'S DUEL!"
Jaden: 4000
Tania: 4000
As Jaden said, "Alright, Tania, get your game on!" He draw his opening hand as he said, "I summon Elemental Hero Avian in DEF Mode!"
Avian appeared with his arms folded. (3/ATK: 1000/DEF: 1000).
As Tania asks, "That's your move?" She drew her hand as she said, "Well, I have someone to clip your Avian's wings. I summon Amazoness Paladin in ATK Mode!"
Amazoness Paladin appeared. (4/ATK: 1700/DEF: 200).
As Tania said, "While she's out on the field, she gains an extra 100 ATK points for every monster on the field that has 'Amazoness' in its name,"
(4/ATK: 1700–1800/DEF: 200).
As Tania said, "Next," She held up a card as she said, "I play this Spell, Amazoness Charm! This card switches all the monsters you have on your field in DEF mode, to ATK mode and gives them an extra 200 ATK points!"
(3/ATK: 1000–1200/DEF: 1000).
Crowler frowned at the move, as he asks, "I don't get it. Why would she play a card that increases Jaden's ATK Points?"
As Bastion said, "For the thrill of it!" As he said, "The passion!"
As Tania asks, "So, are we enjoying the night so far?" As she said, "I hope you're not getting distracted,"
As Jaden said, "Nothing distracts me from dueling." As he asks, "Didn't ya know?"
Tania held up another card as she said, "Maybe this will make you reconsider! The card known as Amazoness Death Ring! When this card activates, we both gain 600 Life Points and it's just not distracting…" A huge cage arena appeared, rising from the dirt around them and closing around them creating a dome of metal bars, as she said, "It's captivating,"
Jaden: 4600

Chazz looked at the Death Ring, as he said, "Wow…she must really be desperate to find a husband if she has to use a cage,"
As Tania said, "You see, Amazoness Death Ring is a sacred arena. In here, you don't just fight with your monster, you fight with your soul!"
As Jaden asks, "And…just how do I do that?"
As Tania said, "Oh, you'll find out. But first, Amazoness Paladin attacks your Avian!"
Amazoness Paladin dashed over to Jaden's field and slashed her straight blade hard and swift across Avian's chest. Avian didn't stand a chance and blew up in a cloud of flame and smoke.
Jaden: 4000
Tania: 4600
As Tania said, "Now, you will see the power of my Death Ring! When our monsters are done, your soul can duel mine. So, you sacrifice 100 of your Life Points to take away 100 of mine,"
As Jaden said, "I guess I should warn ya, I don't ever hit girls,"
As Tania said, "And you shouldn't, but this isn't a fight between us. You see, like I said, our souls will clash,"
As Jaden said, "If you say so,"
Both his and Tania's souls appeared out of body, ready to fight this one out.
Jaden: 3900
Tania: 4500
As Stan said, "Wow."
Both souls of the duelists raced at each other and jumped into the air like some kind of enemies in an old cartoon. Jaden's soul punched, but missed its target, while Tania's uppercut made contact, sending Jaden's soul to the other end of the Death Ring.
Jaden: 3800
Tania: 4500
As Syrus said, "Jaden!"
As Chumley said, "C'mon, Jaden, this is embarrassing for all us guys!"
As Stan said, "Don't give up!"
As Blake said, "Kept fighting man!"
As Kenji said, "You can do it!"
Jaden's soul climbed back to its feet and slugged Tania hard across the face, sending her reeling back into her body.
Jaden: 3800
Tania: 4400
Tania rubbed her cheek as she said, "Not a bad left hook there, kid,"
As Chazz asks, "What?!" As he asks, "She's complimenting his attack?!"
As Bastion asks, "Isn't this great?" Earning a disgusted look from Chazz.
As Jaden said, "If you liked that, you're gonna love this," He drew a card as he said, "I use Polymerization to fuse Elemental Heroes Sparkman and Clayman to Fusion Summon the Elemental Hero Thunder Giant!"
Everyone watched as Jaden's Heroes combined and formed Thunder Giant within a few seconds. (7/ATK: 2400/DEF: 1500).
As Chazz said, "Nice move,"
As Alexis said, "A real nice move! Thunder Giant's special ability can take out any monster with less ATK points when it was summoned, then it can actually attack!"
As Jaden said, "Guess this is goodbye, Paladin,"
Jaden waved a little as Paladin was struck down, as he said, "I'm not done yet, Tania. Thunder Giant, attack her directly!"
Thunder Giant gathered a large collection of electrical energy in its hands and fired it off. Tania growled before it hit her, then screamed as it sent her flying a few good feet away, landing on her back.
Jaden: 3800
Tania: 2000
Jaden waited until the smoke cleared and saw that Tania wasn't moving as he asks, "Tania, are you ok?"
Tania slowly sat up and rubbed her jaw with her strange gauntlet as she said, "Not bad, Jaden…you're my type of guy,"
As Banner said, "Uh Bastion." As he turned to Bastion as he said, "I think Tania's falling for Jaden…,"
As Bastion said, "Course not! She would never leave me!"
As Stan said, "Bastion."
Blade appeared as he said, "Bastion has to do this on his own, Stan. Just be patience."
Tania growled and flipped back onto her feet, as she said, "Alright, my turn!" She drew her card, smiling at what she had drawn, as she said, "First, I'll place one card facedown, then I'll summon Amazoness Swordswoman in ATK mode,"
Amazoness Swordswoman appeared. (4/ATK: 1500/DEF: 1600).
As Tania said, "Then I think I'll use Amazoness Spiritualism to rip apart your Thunder Giant…,"
She slipped the last card into her slot and watched as Thunder Giant disappeared from the field, leaving Clayman and Sparkman on the field. (4/ATK: 800/DEF: 2000). (4/ATK: 1600/DEF: 1400).
As Tania said, "Now, let's fight! Swordswoman, attack Clayman with Amazon Slash Attack!"
Swordswomen ran over and cleaved her curved blade straight through Clayman. Clayman began to slide apart in different directions, then blew up in small puff of smoke.
Jaden: 3100
Tania: 2000
As Tania said, "Now, thanks to my Amazoness Death Ring, it's time we had a rematch!"
Tania's and Jaden's souls appeared in front of them again at the cost of a few points.
Jaden: 3000
Tania: 1900
As Alexis said, "Not again!"
As Syrus said, "Watch out Jaden!"
As Chumley said, "Stick with your jab!"
As Stan said, "Come on, Jaden! Show her what you're made of!"
As Blake said, "You can do it!"
Jaden's and Tania's souls once again rushed at each other and exchanged blows, knocking one another away.

As Jaden said, "You know, I thought hitting like a girl was a bad thing," They returned to their bodies.
As Tania said, "Oh…it's a bad thing alright," As she said, "For you!"
As Jaden said, "Alright, my move!" He draws his card as he said, "I summon the Elemental Hero Burstinatrix in ATK Mode!"
He watched Burstinatrix made her debut performance in the duel. (3/ATK: 1200/DEF: 800).
As Jaden said, "Now, Sparkman, attack Amazoness Swordswoman!"
As Tania said, "Not so fast, Jaden!" She pressed a button on her disk as she said, "I activate my facedown card, Amazoness Archers!"
Jaden gulped as five women with bows and arrows appeared on the field, as he said, "Oh boy…"
As Tania said, "If you don't remember what this does, this Trap card drains your monsters by 500 ATK points …not too shabby for a girl, huh?"
(3/ATK: 1200–700/DEF: 800). (4/ATK: 1600–1100/DEF: 1400).
As Jaden said, "Not too shabby, no, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna give up!" He pointed at Swordswomen as he said, "Go, Sparkman!"
Everyone watched, surprised that Jaden still ordered his now weaker monster to actually fight Tania's monster. Sparkman flew at the Swordswoman but ended up getting sliced in half like a salami.
Jaden: 2500
Tania: 1800
Jaden winced at the attack but kept his footing. He looked up at Tania as he said, "Now, let's have ourselves Round Three!"
He sacrificed points and his soul appeared once again.
Jaden: 2400
Tania: 1700
As Alexis asks, "Hold on, now Jaden's using its effect?"
Her answer came in the form of the two duelists rushing one another and punching each other silly before retreating back into their bodies.
Jaden: 2300
Tania: 1600
As Tania said, "Not bad…you really duel with passion," They both rubbed their sore faces after the attacks.
Bastion raised an eyebrow as he asks, "What is she trying to prove?"
As Alexis asks, "I dunno, but I've never seen Jaden duel with so much zeal before in my life!"
As Bastion said, "Yes…he's enjoying himself in this duel while not being in love!"
As Tania said, "Alright…now I'll have my Amazoness Archers force all your monsters to attack!"
As Jaden said in his thought "Kinda dumb for all because there's only one…but hey," He watched Burstinatrix as he said, "You want it? Well you're gonna get it, Burstinatrix, go get them!"
Burstinatrix flew at the Swordswoman, wrapped in her torrent of red hot flames, but not even Burstinatrix could withstand the stronger power of the Swordswoman as she was sliced across the belly.
Jaden: 1500
Tania: 1600
As Jaden said, "Well, that cost me some points…but hey, it's worth it to rumble!"
As Syrus said, "Not again."
The two souls of the duelists engaged each other.
As Syrus said, "This is gettin' old,"
Jaden: 1300
Tania: 1400
As Jaden said, "Next, I'll place down a couple of facedowns and then play a card I like to call The Warrior Returning Alive!" Quickly shoving his cards into his disk slots, as he said, "This card allows me to bring back one Warrior Type monster from my Graveyard and add it to my hand," Before taking one card from his Graveyard, as he said, "I choose my Elemental Hero Clayman!"
As Tania said, "My turn." She draws her card as she said, "And I'll summon Amazoness Tiger in ATK Mode!"
Bass appeared. (4/ATK: 1100/DEF: 1500).
As Tania said, "This kitty gains 400 ATK points for every monster on the field that has Amazoness in its name," As she said, "She just love company,"
(4/ATK: 1100–1900/DEF: 1500).
As Crowler said, "I don't blame her, look how powerful she got!"
As Casandra asks, "How about we try and not sound quite so impressed, shall we?"
As Bree said, "I agree."
As Tania said, "Now, Amazoness Swordswoman, attack Jaden directly!"
Her Swordswoman rushed at Jaden, who had a grin on his face.
As Jaden said, "Hold on! I play A Hero Emerges!" One of his facedowns was revealed as he said, "Here's how it works, you randomly pick a card from my hand, and if it's a monster card, I get to summon it to the field!"
As Tania said, "But there's only one card left!"
As Zane said, "Perfect. She has no choice but to choose the–,"
As Jaden said, "Elemental Hero Clayman!"
Clayman appeared in DEF mode, just stopping the blade from reaching him. The sword made contact on the hard shell of Clayman and split into two.
As Tania said, "Sorry, but Amazoness Swordswoman's ability makes it so you get all the battle damage," She watched as her Swordswoman's cut blade spun in the air, as she said, "So, you may wanna duck now,"
Jaden didn't even have enough time to blink as the broken blade dove through him, taking a chunk of Life Points away.
Jaden: 800
Tania: 1400
As Jaden said, "Guess it's time to put up my dukes,"
The Death Ring activated again. Both souls appeared on the field again.
As Jaden said, "Let's go!"
As Tania said, "Bring it!"
Jaden: 700
Tania: 1300
For the umpteenth time, their souls appeared and fiercely clashed with one another, slugging one another hard in the face.
Jaden: 600
Tania: 1200
As Chumley asks, "What's he doing?!"
As Syrus said, "If this keeps up, Jaden's gonna lose!"
As Zane said, "Maybe not," As he said, "Maybe he's fallen under Tania's Spell, just like Bastion did,"
As Bastion said, "No, it's love! Pure love, just like the wind–driven snow! Right Tania?!"
As Tania said, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever lover–boy," As she said, "Let's get on with this! Amazoness Tiger, attack Clayman!"
Bass roared and pounced Clayman, it's claws and teeth scraping along Clayman's outer shell. Sadly, the attack failed, and Tania was hit with her own damage.
Jaden: 600
Tania: 1100
As Chazz asks, "What the–?" As he asks, "Why would Tania attack a monster with more DEF Points?"
As Alexis said, "Simple…" As she said, "So she can use the Death Ring's effect for herself again,"
Indeed, that is what Tania wanted, because the two souls flew into the air and punched hard, sort of like some kind of arch–enemies in some older anime series. After the blows, both duelists landed back in their bodies, a little weakened from the attacks.
Jaden: 400
Tania: 900
As Chazz said, "He's still in there…"
As Zane said, "For now,"
As Tania said, "Now, I'll activate the Spell card called Amazoness Tamer!" She inserted her card into her disk, and her Tiger's power went up by 400 points.
(4/ATK: 1900–2300/DEF: 1500).
As Zane said, "Since she played that Amazoness Tiger card, if her Tiger didn't destroy a monster before, it can try again, this time with a power boost,"
Jaden glared at Tania as he asks, "What's the hold up?!"
As Tania said, "Oh, you know honey, just enjoying the moment," As she said, "After all, this will be our anniversary. Amazoness Tiger, attack once more!"
As Jaden shouted, "NOT SO FAST!" He pressed a button on his disk as he said, "I play Clay Charge! Whenever you attack Clayman when I play this card, not only do both monsters that do battle bite the dust, but you take 800 points of damage!"
Tania looked away as both her Tiger and Clayman exploded into millions of pieces, then winced as her points were taken away.
Jaden: 400
Tania: 100
As Tania said, "Playing hard to get, huh?" As she said, "I like that,"
As Jaden said, "Hey, I'm just liking this all out duel!"
Syrus looked at the two opponents, as he said, "Ya know…I gotta admit, I'm liking this duel too. It's non–stop action!"
As Zane said, "I think that's exactly what Jaden's going for, Syrus," As he said, "To beat her at her own game,"
As Chazz said, "I guess," As he said, "Unless he's trying to impress her. Maybe this Tania girl is Jaden's type,"
As Casandra asks, "Why don't you just shut it, Chazz?" As she said, "There's no way Jaden would date that thing, and in case you've forgotten, this is more than just love. If Jaden doesn't get a miracle draw, Tania's gonna get another Spirit Gate Key! Not to mention Bastion's gonna spend the rest of his life in some lame love limbo! There's a lot riding on Jaden's shoulders this move,"
As Tania said, "You've fought well, Jaden," As she said, "But my Swordswoman will beat you. Remember her ability to make you suffer the damage you deal to her. Face it, you can't win,"
Jaden drew his card as he said, "With one card I can…and I just drew it! Go, Elemental Hero Wildheart in ATK Mode!"
Everyone watched as Wildheart came to the field, staring down the Swordswoman. (4/ATK: 1500/DEF: 1600).
As Chazz said, "I see, they have the same points," As he said, "That effect won't work!"
As Chumley said, "So they'll destroy each other!"
As Zeke said, "You go get her, Jaden!"
As Stan said, "Come on, Jaden! Show her!"
As Jaden said, "Wildheart, attack Amazoness Swordswoman!"
With a battle cry, Wildheart rushed Swordswoman and their swords clashed against one another with a mighty clang. Both monsters destroyed each other, leaving both fields empty.

Alexis nodded slowly as the two souls appeared, as she said, "This is it! She only has 100 Life Points left!"
As Bastion said, "And I'm back down to earth," As he said, "I can duel passionately, without being in love! Now, go get her Jaden and win this match for us both!"
As Blake said, "Jaden, finish her!"
For the final time, both Tania's and Jaden's souls ran at each other, and punched one another in the face hard. The two souls stood there together; their fists stuck on each other's cheeks as the sunrise peeked over the coliseum. The souls vanished and the real bodies of duelists stumbled backward, feeling the effects of the blows.
As Banner said, "It's over…"
As Crowler said, "Never," As he said, "Have I seen two duelists fight with such passion,"
Zane looked at Bastion as he asks, "So, Bastion, are you with us, or are you still in love?"
As Bastion said, "I'm still in love…" As he said, "…with dueling! I see now, where the passion lies once again."
Jaden looked at his opponent, smiling, as he said, "I guess that's game. Lemme know whenever you wanna rematch,"
Tania sat down and shook her head, as she said, "No rematch. I joined the Shadow Riders to find a husband…a duelist who was worthy of being my husband. But I've discovered that I am not worthy of being with someone as strong as you…,"

Blade and Ryo looked at Tania as Ryo said, "That's sad."
Jaden raised an eyebrow at her as the Death Ring disappeared, as he asks, "Tania?"
What happened next, may have freaked a few of them out. Tania began to glow with a purple light and soon, she fell onto all fours, her hair growing longer and white fur with black stripes grew out of her flesh. Soon, in her place, was a giant white tiger with two scars over its right eye.
As Syrus asks, "A tiger?!"
Stan said, "Didn't see that coming."
As Blake said, "Me either."
Bastion rubbed his eyes, as he asks, "Tania? Is that really you?"
The white tiger seemed to look straight at him, as she said, "Farewell Bastion…"
Tania turned around and headed towards the exit, leaving behind her black gauntlet. Bass followed close behind her.
As Bastion said, "Well that's… that I suppose…"
As Chazz said patting Bastion on the back "You sure know how to pick 'em, Bastion."
As Jaden said, "Hey, don't worry… There's other fish in the sea!" As he said, "Thank goodness…"
Tania has been defeated, and Bastion has gotten back in the game. But there's more Shadow Riders out there, let's hope our heroes can beat them and save the world.
