Keigo and Hanako talked as she cooked, enjoying their tea while she worked.

"That smells amazing," Keigo said, standing to come over to the kitchen island. "Are you sure you don't need any help?"

Hanako nodded, smiling at him over her shoulder. "You are my guest, after all, sir."

Keigo smirked. "I've been thinking about that."

"About what?"

"About you calling me 'sir' all the time, even outside of work."

"Oh?" Hanako glanced at him as she turned to grab the vegetables to add to the wok. "And what should I call you? Mr. Hawks and Hawks are all the names I have for you- unless you feel like sharing your given name?"

Keigo feigned pondering the idea. "Hmm, Hawks would be fine,"

"Uh, huh." Hanako rolled her eyes and stuck her tongue out playfully. "You rather like the idea of me not knowing your name, don't you?"

"Maybe," Keigo leaned on the kitchen island. "Perhaps I just want to see what you think my name is."

"I see," Hanako checked on the rice, then sipped her tea. "At least give me a hint?"

"Alright, fair enough," Keigo smirked. "It starts with 'K'."

"You know there are nearly two hundred names for Japanese men that start with 'K', right?"

"Mmm, fair point," Keigo's smirk only grew though as he leaned in to add, "But that makes it all the more fun."

Hanako stuck out her tongue, giggling a bit. "You big meanie," She sighed and pondered over the names that she thought would suit him best.

Hanako spent most of the evening trying to figure out his name, starting with "Kado". She would say a name, but each time she did Keigo would just shake his head and his smile would grow smugger and smugger. This continued even while they ate dinner- Hanako saying a name between bites and Keigo chuckling with amusement.

By the time they had finished eating and Hanako had cleaned the dishes, she was already down to "Kazuyuki".

"Well, that's all of the 'Ka' names that I can think of," Hanako said, coming over to sit with him on the couch. "You know, you could just tell me what it is."

"Oh, but this is so much fun!" Keigo lounged in the corner opposite her.

Hanako rolled her eyes and nudged his leg playfully with her foot. "You're enjoying this too much," She sighed and held the pillow to her chest. "Alright, onto the 'Ke' list then. Kei?"

"Close, but no."

"Keigo?"

"Ding ding ding! We have a winner!"

Hanako looked at him with mock incredulity. "You jerk! You made me go through over fifty names!" She lightheartedly tossed the pillow at him.

"What? You were determined!"

"Unbelievable!"

Keigo laughed as she stood. "Aww, are you pouting?"

Hanako rolled her eyes, but her smile remained. "I don't pout." She went over to the stove to refill her mug. "Do you want some more tea?"

"Sure," Keigo stood, setting the pillow to the side and coming into the kitchen.

Hanako glanced behind her when she heard a shuffle- squealing when Keigo snuck up and started tickling her. "Stop it, hehe! Stop, stop, stop!" She turned towards him and pushed him back a bit. "Keigo!"

Keigo looked down at her, grinning. "That's much better," His hands rested on his hips.

Hanako panted, trying to recover from the tickling. "Oh don't look so smug, it's not a good look for you."

Keigo chuckled. "Maybe."

Hanako blushed when she realized how they were standing and stepped back, turning to refill their mugs. "Well, now that we've gotten that figured out, would you like to stay for a movie?"

Keigo took the mug from her when she offered it to him. "That sounds nice."

Hanako let Keigo pick a movie, but it wasn't long before he passed out while watching it. Hanako looked over and smiled when she saw him sleeping soundly, slightly snoring as he slept. 'He must have been really exhausted.' She reached forward to grab the remote and turned off the TV before laying a blanket over him. She stood and went to her room to grab a change of clothes, then headed to the bathroom to start a shower.

While she let the warm water rush over her, she mulled over the events of the evening.

'I can't believe we were flirting like that... or am I reading too much into it..?'

Hanako shut off the shower and stepped onto the soft, fluffy bath mat- drying off with a towel. She sighed, wondering if it was just wishful thinking that he'd feel something for her, too.

'What am I going to do? This is getting harder and harder the more I realize what he means to me.'

She slid into a fresh pair of panties and a nightgown, pulling on her robe before towel drying her hair.

'Maybe I should talk to Kana tomorrow, see what she says...'

Hanako stepped out of the bathroom and turned off the light, going over to the couch to check on Keigo. 'Still fast asleep it looks like.' She checked the thermostat, then pulled the blanket up a bit further over him. She smoothed back the hair that had fallen in his face, letting her hand linger for a moment. 'He's cute when he sleeps.' She looked at his feathers, hesitating for a moment before reaching down to touch them. 'Wow, they're softer than I would have expected.' She quickly withdrew her hand when Keigo shifted in his sleep, waiting until he was settled back down to release the breath she had been holding. She smiled, leaning forward to kiss his forehead before standing and going to her bedroom- stopping only for a moment to say good night.

As she closed the door to her bedroom, Keigo opened his eyes sleepily and smirked. 'Good night, Hanako.'
