The Fury

Xena's saw something, suddenly out of the corner of her eyes. It was a single fireball streaming through the air. Xena snatched Gabrielle and just barely got her out of the way to avoid the explosive impact. Gabrielle, now with her baby in her arms, was about to take off running to her horse, but a bolt of lightning killed it instantly.
Velasca and Callisto were standing there, smiling at the carnage. Velasca shouted, "I'll make it simple for you Xena. Just set the baby down on the ground in full view of us, then the rest of you won't have to die, I'll even let Gabrielle go."
Xena tossed her chakram through the air, nailing Velasca in the head, and then returning to its owner.
"Oh well, I guess you're all on the menu."
Joxer, Iolaus, and Gabrielle moved as fast they could as Xena and Hercules charged Velasca, dodging lightning bolts. Callisto appeared behind Xena, and kicked her to the ground, hard. Hercules turned around and punched Callisto, sending her hard into the grass. Xena rolled away to avoid a lightning strike. Hercules had a feeling about what Velasca was going to do next. Just as Velasca let off a bolt of lightning, Hercules picked up Callisto and used her to shield himself. The blast knocked them both back. Velasca teleported and reappeared next to Hercules, just as he was getting to his feet. Xena's war cry was heard as she sprung into action, kicking the god off balance. Xena snatched the hilt of the Dagger of Helios, but Velasca kneed her in the gut and tossed her aside.
Velasca mused to herself, "If you're here, and he's there, then she's…"
Hercules and Xena charged Velasca but the insane god teleported away.
"Dammit!" Shouted Hercules.
"We have to go!" Shouted Xena.
Xena took off running into the direction of Gabrielle with Hercules' closely following behind her.

Gabrielle, Joxer, and Iolaus continued running when suddenly Callisto appeared before them. She said, "Leaving so soon? We haven't even had the barbecue."
Gabrielle turned the other way, only to find Velasca standing in her path. "Oh… no Gabrielle. You're not getting away from me this time." Iolaus and Joxer jumped in front of Gabrielle, to shield her. The pair of gods closed on them, leaving the trio to back away slowly. Callisto was laughing manically while Velasca gave a brutally icy cold stare directed at Gabrielle. They were backed towards a small cliff, to dangerous for someone caring an infant to try to escape down.
Iolaus declared in a stern voice. "You want her, I'll have to take me first."
Callisto smiled, "Ok." She removed her dagger and gave it a hard throw. It was faster than Iolaus could move, and it slammed into his chest, penetrating his heart.
"Noooo!" Gabrielle shouted
Joxer shouted as he caught his body on the way down, "Iolaus! Iolaus!"
Iolaus breathed for a moment, and smiled warmly at Gabrielle, "Gab…" His breathing ended, his head slumped backwards, his arms fell, he was dead. Gabrielle's tears fell on her baby's face. "Iolaus…" Her eyes returned to Callisto, who was grinning with joy

Hercules and Xena were running as fast as they could, they emerged from a hill just in time to see Callisto throw the dagger and kill Iolaus. Hercules shouted, "No! Iolaus!" He began running faster than perhaps he ever had in his life, leaving Xena behind.
Velasca and Callisto were about to kill Gabrielle, Dawn, and Joxer as they closed in. Then suddenly Velasca's body went flying over them and off of the cliff at full force. Callisto turned her head, only to be grabbed by Hercules and smashed into the ground so hard, it knocked the wind of out the god.
Xena arrived as Gabrielle was about to go try to calm him down, but Xena seized her shoulder. "Don't Gabrielle. Hercules is enraged, if he accidentally hit you now, he could kill you. Callisto… she has this coming."
Hercules picked up Callisto's body and slammed it again, and again, and again. He then slammed her body against a nearby tree, which was impacted so hard that the tree by it's roots was forced up, and knocked off the cliff. He threw her into the ground again, and started punching her in the head, over and over and over. He punched her so many times, that a hole had developed around her head that was over a foot deep. Callisto could not catch her breath, as the onslaught was too hard and fierce. He kicked her in the chest, in the gut, in the back, in the head, and continued to relentlessly beat her. He picked her up, and threw her against a large rock… and the rock split down the middle from the impact.
He grabbed her body and slammed her head against the rock, shouting, "You evil bitch!" The rock crumbled from the impact. He continued to kick and beat her, as her body soared closer and closer to the nearby cave. Xena, Gabrielle, followed closely while Joxer stayed with Iolaus's body. Hercules shouted, "You just had to do it! You murdered him! You killed my best friend!"
Hercules reached the cave, as Hercules again picked her up, and slammed her against the stone wall, three times, and then slammed her down to the cave floor. He kicked in the chest, which sent her flying ten fight, he ran after her, kicking her in the chest creating a small hole in the cavern floor.
Hercules seized Callisto's head, squeezing with all his might. Darkly, he said to her, "You just had to do it. Didn't you? You don't deserve your powers. You deserve to die, monster. You want to be a god? Enjoy eternity!" He slammed her once more, against the cave and then punched the cave walls with his fist causing the cave to begin to collapse. Callisto made a last-ditch effort to escape, but Hercules punched her once more on the face, slamming her back to the cave floor as rock's crushed her. With the cave falling down, Hercules wondered to himself. "Do I really want to leave?"
