Hey guys, author here. Thank you for the reviews yet again. I just wanted to let you know the next couple of chapters will be short on the sole purpose there probably wouldn't be much they could do in this situation. Anyway, here's the next chapter.
(8:44am) 3 hours and 19 minutes later…
Kyle was currently stood with Bianca, who had pulled him away from the others so he could take his tablet without the others seeing.
Once it had gone down, Kyle took a quick drink then gave the bottle back to Bianca.
"Do you think they'll be searching for us now?" Kyle asks her as she screws the lid back on.
"Well Colby thinks they will be and so does Ryan." Bianca lets him know "And when you think about it, they are more likely to know how a search takes place and when more than the rest of us anyway."
"True."
"Anyway, how are you feeling?"
"Well, my neck doesn't hurt anymore."
"That's not what I meant Kyle. You only had one tablet since yesterday morning so, I need to know how you're feeling."
"Oh, I'm ok. I'm tired but that might be down to the noises I heard during the night."
"We all are so don't worry about that." Bianca says as she looks at the group of people "But, you'll tell me when you feel worse right?"
"Yeah I promise. We just got to hope they find us before I run out of these." Shaking the bottle, he continues "I was thinking…"
"I'm not going to like what you were thinking am I?"
"Depends on how you look at it."
"Go on then tell me what you were thinking."
"Maybe I only have half a tablet that way they would last longer."
"No, not going to happen. Not to mention we have no way of breaking them in half."
"Come on Bianca, it will make them last longer as you said it yourself, we could be here a while. Also, I'd bit them in half."
"Still not going to happen. I think Brax would kill both of us if he knew you had even suggested that. At least if you have one full one, we have a better chance of getting you out here still alive."
"Cheers Bianca." Kyle said then gives her his tablets back and storms away.
"I didn't mean it like that Kyle." Bianca said as the teen walked away from her.
Bianca just stands there watching the teen talk to the girl that has in only a couple of days become Kyle's girlfriend.
(1:51pm) 5 hours and 7 minutes later…
"Where is it?" Rocco says as he takes all of his stuff out his bag.
"Where's what?" Xavier asks his friends as he watches him.
"My wallet."
"Rocco, you seriously don't your wallet. I mean what are you gonna buy in the bush?"
"No, I don't need my bank card Xavier."
"Then why do you need your wallet."
Just then Rocco finds it and opens it and pulls out the two pictures he has inside: "This is why I need it."
"Oh, sorry man I didn't realise." apologises Xavier.
"It's ok. I just wanted to see them both."
"Is that what I think it is?" Belle asks him as she reappears after disappearing to the spot the girls had allocated as their toilet.
"Yeah it's the very first ultrasound we had."
"Do you know what it is yet?" Kyle asks his best mate.
Rocco doesn't reply instead he just keeps looking at the pictures.
"You do?!" Belle screams loudly with excitement which cause the three adults to stare.
"Yes, we do and no I'm not telling you Belle." Rocco laughs.
"Why not?"
"Because, me and Cassie decided we would tell you all through a gender reveal party."
"But you already know so what's the point." Belle says to him.
"Hey, it ain't a gender reveal for us two. It's for everyone else expect Sally and Johnny that is as they also know."
Xavier and Kyle both laugh at Belle's reaction to not being told what the gender of her best friend's baby was.
"Sorry Belle." Is all Rocco says before going back to staring at the pictures.
(9:15pm) 7 hours and 24 minutes later…
Bianca was just handing out the dinner rations when, Kyle started itching his arm where the burn was.
"Mate, stop itching it." Colby tells him as he takes his granola bar piece.
Taking his hand away from his arm, Kyle says: "I can't help if it's itching."
"Mine is too and I'm sure everyone else's burns are as well but that means the skin is trying to heal."
"Colby is right Kyle." Bianca makes a point to say as she takes the last piece and sits down.
Standing up, the teens says: "Yeah, well I wish he wasn't!"
Kyle than moves to sit away from everyone is which has Belle going to follow him.
"Belle." Bianca says to her.
"What?" Belle asks.
"Just let him calm down. He's stressed and scared like the rest of us and he needs some space." Bianca says as she takes the bottle of water from Rocco.
Belle nods her head and sits back down making sure to keep an eye on Kyle.
(9:21pm) 6 minutes later…
"Are you sure he's ok?" Colby asks the teacher.
"He will be tomorrow." Bianca sighs "It's due to him not having the number of tablets he's meant to have."
"Oh."
"Anger, Fear and Stress are heightened apparently."
"Oh great, so we take normal teenage emotions and amplify them by 100." Colby says.
"Pretty much yes." Bianca sighs again watching Kyle who was playing with a stick.
Pulling Bianca into a hug, Colby tells her: "He's going to be fine. He has both of us looking out for him now."
Bianca doesn't say anything as a single tear slides from her eye.
