Michael's POV

Through the windows it was easier to vanish from our sister's sight, before she could say anything. Gabriel didn't understand why I suggested the idea of escaping, but as soon as we arrived to the Stratosphere to welcome Alex, I told the whole story of the Flood-memories.

"She has the ability to use curses and blessings too." long story short.

"Wait. You're saying she would use a curse on us, even when disabled physically?"

"She's close to her health at that time, so I'd better not to test her boundaries; she cursed me with one of the strongest. The hardened heart, if you remember. Father used this on the pharaoh in Egypt too." My twin's reaction worth this moment, he burst into laughter. Did I sound so unbelievable or he might laugh at the fact my sister won against me one time?

He had to lean against the wall; his laughter shook his body heavily.

"Ok, you had enough fun, now you see why running is a shameful but also useful tool."

"She cursed you..." he laughed hysterically. I won't stop him now. I sat on my own bed, and waited until my twin brother calmed himself down and caught his breath and pushed himself back on track. "She was there all along, how could we not recognize her? She was in front of my eyes, we battled!"

"She's especially good at hide and seek, as we learned. She got rid of us spiritually, in heavenly form we wouldn't be able to find her."I continued.

"Glad she's ok thought. I missed her so much. At least we still have her. How's Alex?"

"Fine, a few bruises here and there, but he'll be coming soon." I replied, half way to dozing off. We had a rough month. And it happened as I told. Within twenty minutes Alex stepped out of the lift and knocked on the door. I let him in.

"Hey, we won!" he said in pure joy, and I hugged Alex whom I considered as my own son, even though blood never bonded us, but rather our time spent together. He deserves a good life, and the signs he had had a last message for us. Father is near. "How is your sister?"

"Fine, not counting she hates hospitals. And her first words were swear words..." answered Gabriel, and he repeated that f-word what Ayelet used. Ehm, she spent more on Earth than necessary.

"Really? You're lying, Gabriel!"

"Nope. Ask our brother Lucifer."

"Yeah, and guess what, she has a message for you, Mickie! Go back before she curses you..."arrived the mentioned Devil himself. A nickname again and I'll slice him in half. Or put back into his place to Hell. He's lucky because I had to find him to keep things quiet with my sister. He can tell the events in the past from his perspective, so finally she may stop hating me.

"Keep my home in order or I'll finish both of you, understood?"

"Deeply, brother, deeply" they chuckled. Home, sweet home... until I'll get bored and follow my sister's footsteps and excel myself in the game of hide and seek celestial version.

At the hospital again, on my sister's side. I hope she loved my present, Lucifer, the Morningstar himself. When I arrived she fall asleep, but Raguel insisted me to stay for a little.

"It's not an accident she calls for you" she smiled and put her hand on my shoulder. "I prepared the road for you, now it's your job to walk on it and end your journey, brother."

I nodded, and wrapped my arms around her. Raguel, we barely seen each other, I kept her neutrality in respect; she didn't want to get involved in our war with my twin brother. I took off my leather coat, placed on the chair next to her bed, and I just watched Ayelet sleeping so peacefully. I patted her ash blond locks carefully, I bet Raguel styled her hair, occasionally, I knew she was capable of brilliant braids and other styles, she was clever and on the creative side.

I smiled, as I saw her chest rising up and down. I bet she must be happy to got rid of the oxygen mask.

"'morning, bro'!" she whispered. I didn't want to wake her up, but she felt my presence. She grabbed my hand, held tightly. "Is it real, or I am dreaming?"

"No, it's real. But I am curious of what you've dreamt of me last time you got into the hospital."

"It's a seeecret. I won't tell you. Or it might never become real. Well, the hospital part... I'd rather leave it alone." she jiggled, as she was thinking of something that must be so funny for her. Sisters! Who gets them... Alex is lucky, he doesn't have any siblings, especially sensitive sisters like Ayelet.

"Ok, keep it, I can wait till you feel like you can trust me. Did you like my present?"

"You mean Samael? Of course! So... so you haven't killed him. I... I apologize for blaming you for a murder you haven't committed." she pulled up the blanket up to her nose, and from that I could figure out how ashamed she must be feeling. "

"Mistunderstanding is natural, even between us, as you experienced. You were scared, you've seen something that you couldn't explain, but promise me, you'll never hurt yourself again. You honestly scared us to death..."

"That's not a good joke, bro!"

"Ok, ok, sorry. I wasn't aware of L... Samael's trickiness. Anyway, he told me he would have given the light without my sacrifice, he only wanted to take revenge for you know... the battle between us." talking with my sister without tension, anxiety and fear of losing her again is something I could enjoy to all eternity. Raguel made a spectacular job here, I can touch her, I can talk to her, I can just be in Ayelet's presence.

"What I can promise is to try not to judge you based on what I see at first attempt. I still doubt my purpose of existence in Heaven. I don't find my place there, brother. So I might won't go back, or won't stay that much." these word s hurt me as well. I never imagined my sister struggling with self-image to this level.

"Of course, you have one. You are our sister, there is no need for any big tremendous reasons to be there. You were born out of Father's pure joy. The pure, divine, holy light. Isn't it enough? How can you think you're not as good as we? You're an angel. Humans are humans. We all have a place here, and our tasks are not defining us. You're not any smaller than us, the one who cursed me with the hardened heart curse can't be small, right?" these words came, and came, as my emotions awoke in me. These questions also reached to my mind, but I knew what do I have to do.

To protect what's pure and dear in the eyes of Father. Ayelet is also a guardian. She protected the mechanism of Creation, and I got an instant idea, a what if...

"Hey. I think I know how we can get back home."

"How?"

"Hm, maybe I found the key." I smiled."You. You know how the gates work and maybe..."

"Wait... it is a bit out of control imagination, bro. I am not a key. Why would I be?"

"Holy light, remember? You might be able to open the gates, and we only have to wait Father until he comes home. We could clean up our mess before he arrives and gets out of mind..."

"So basically you're asking me to save you with Gabriel?"
