Dwayne was still reeling from the revelation that Madame Choas was his childhood friend and ex-girlfriend. The next day his mind wasn't on the board meeting as they discuss future funding for some of the city at-risk youth, he just nodding slowly at everything being said. He kept going back to Choas' words and wonder what he could have done to cause this to happen. He had already lost so many people in his short life, his parents, members of the new warriors, and others during the Connecticut incident. He was determined not to lose anyone else. He had to figure out how to reach her, he just didn't know-how.

"Mr. Chairman, if you could you please let us know what else did you have in place for new business?"

He looks up and no matter how good he was even he couldn't hide the look of surprise on his face. He had not been paying attention and now everyone else knew it too.

"If I may, our Chairperson has not been feeling well, may I suggest we adjure for now and continue this discussion at our next week's meeting." Chord said.

Chord had always been there bailing me out when I didn't, but he was hurting too this morning because she was his daughter. He heard the same thing that I did, he was just better at keeping his true feeling lock away. Once everyone left the boardroom, it was just the two of just left.

"You can't keep blaming yourself for what happened to her. If anyone is to blame it should be me. I'm her father and I didn't notice any of the emotional problems that she was having. That means I was a poor father."

"No Chord, I know you mean well, but you raise us all. If anyone is to blame it is me and we both can't keep beating ourselves up over this. We need to find her before its too late. By the way, have you seen Robert today?"

Neither one of us had seen the kid, which was unlike him. He didn't have school today, so he should have been here by now. I call his cellphone but he doesn't pick up. That has me worry, luckily I had the foresight to put a tracker on his board.

Just east of the Ambassador Bridge there are plenty of warehouses on the waterfront that back in the height of the city history used to house commerce between Canada and Detroit. But that was doing better times, now the warehouse just saw abandon or at least had been for years. But someone had setup show and Robert had been tracking them for two days and the trail led him here. He knew that he probably should have told Dwayne and Chord, but they both had their hands full with Madame Choas and they had been very short with him when he tried to talk to them about the high tech crimes that had been going on for weeks right under their noses. They had been spending so much time fighting meta-human crimes that they had even noticed this happening. When Robert found out from a friend that had lost a sister during a shootout between these guys and the cops. Burt was so upset about losing this sister and told Robert everything that had been going on.

Robert has glad that Chord had shown him out to track people and had even given him some trackers in his uniform. That helped him arrive at this destination. As he looks down at the group of guys below him. He watched them unload a truck that had even more weapons. He wanted to record so he could show Thrasher later what he discovered, as he watched he saw two people walk out of the office. One of them looks like the gang leader he had follow here but the other person he had never seen before. That person looks as if he was in charge because the gang members all stood by listening to him talk and as he turns to leave I was left with a decision.

Do he follow him back to the source or does he stay put and get as much information as I can on these guys. Before he could make up my mind, they were gone. When he placed his hand down, he slipped and fell right through the roof. When he stood up Robert was surrounded by four guys all with guns aimed at him. He notices three other guys picking up their guns as well. He thought "I should have told Thrasher where I was."

"Well boys, it looks like we have a junior superhero in our playground. Let's show him what we do to people who come to our sandbox without an invitation."
