Dewey feels that no one is his family pays attention to him so he runs off, but is later found. It's no big deal. Or so it seems. But Webby's onto him. There's something strange about Dewey, and she'll find out what. She should be able to figure out what's wrong with her friend...right? Rated T for violence; no cursing. (THIS IS A SHORT STORY, SO THE CHAPTERS ARE SHORT.)

Nobody Listens Chapter 20: "Adventure Part 1"

One week later…

Dewey sat upright in the backseat of the Sunchaser/Cloudslayer. It had been a long time since he had gone on an adventure, mostly because he had locked himself in his room and refused to get out for any reason. Finally, Scrooge had stepped in to put an end to this madness and decided it would do him good if they went on an adventure together.

Webby looked over at Dewey, who was mumbling something under his breath.

…

"Dewey?"

…

"Dewey?!"

Dewey snapped back to reality, "Huh? Oh it's just you Webby." He said after a minute.

"Who were you talking to?" She asked curiously.

"No one. Just….myself." He shrugged.

"Okay….?" Webby furrowed her brow.
