A/N - Invader Zim belonged to Jhonen Vasquez and Richard Steven, but all of the OCs involved belongs to me.

Lily weakly hugs Zim's body and starts wailing as the body of an irken who saved her life... someone who's meant to be her enemy... someone she never thought would be the one to save her despite just being enemies with a common foe.

"Z-Zim!" Lily cried, "W-wake up! Please!"

But... there was no response at all... making Lily cry harder... even more than she ever before... it's such a long time since she last cried this much.

Artemisia watches the scene unfold as she walks up to the two and says, "He still alive. After all, he's an irken and the Shadow dragon... he been through much worse,"

"..." Lily stayed quiet and nods as she wipes her tears, "Y... you're right..."

"Sorry to burst your celebration!" A certain goddess called out as she floats towards the three.

"Back off, murderer!" Artemisia threatened her as she takes out her blade and points at her. "Lily! Run!"

Lily nods as she picks Zim up over her shoulder and quickly leaves the room as fast as possible, but has difficulties due to Zim's very tall height.

"Oh no, you don't!" Ate shouted as she throws her whip at Lily and managed to grab hold of her soul, causing Lily's eyes to go grey and collapsed to the ground.

"LILY!" Artemisia screamed as she tackles down Ate.

"Ahhh!" Ate screamed as she placed her hand on the knight's chest and blast her off.

"Gah!"

Ate quickly stands up and runs after them as she grabs both of them.

"Bye!" She said as she quickly teleports out.

"Damn it!" Artemisia yelled as she stands up and runs out of the area.

Artemisia runs as fast as she could until she notices Dib walking down the stairs in a wobbly manner.

"Dib!" Artemisia shouted as he runs to him.

"A...Artemisia...?" Dib asked.

"Are you okay?!" She asked worriedly as she starts looking for any scars.

"H-Hey!" Dib said, "I-I'm fine! Really! I'm fine!"

"Are you sure?" She asked him.

"..." Dib was hesitant to answer after having those forced flashbacks, "... Yeah, I'm fine."

"... I hope so..."

"Hey!"

The duo turns to the left and sees Ronin, Harumi, Gir and Leo running towards them.

"Dib?!" Gir shouted.

"G-Gir?!" Dib asked, "You look so different! What happened to you?"

"Well..."

"There's no time, Gir-kun!" Harumi called him out. "Where's Zim-senpai?!"

"That's what we're going to do," Artemisia told her, "Ate took him along with Lily,"

"...Where is that witch!?" Ronin asked angrily.

"I think I have my suspicion on a certain place," Dib told them as he gets upstairs, "Follow me!"

The group nod and follows Dib upstairs. Everyone enters into the throne room. Dib rushes to the throne and starts pushing it... which it wouldn't budge.

"Damn it!" Dib shouted, "... No... I'm not gonna give up!"

Dib starts putting his hand on all the walls while the others look around. Harumi touches the floor close to the throne alongside Gir.

"I hope Zim-senpai is okay..." Harumi thought, "I... I can't lose him just like I lost my mother..."

Harumi clutches her fists and looks down on the ground... till a metal hand grasps her hand, which she turns her attention to Gir.

"I know master for a long time, now!" Gir told her, "I know master would be fine! He's never been the type to give up and die out easily, he's too stubborn, so I know he'll be fine! Trust me!"

"..." Harumi wipes a bit of her tear and smiles softly, "Thank you Gir... I'm glad you're my best friend..."

"No problem, Harumi!" Gir replied with a wide smile on his face.

"Finally!" Dib shouted out of pure relief as the throne moves to the left. "Okay everyone! This will be tough, considering we're going against a goddess, but we have Artemisia on our side, so we should be okay!"

"Yea!" The group completely agreed.

"Let's kill that witch!" Ronin shouted as he went to the room.

"Yeah!" Both Harumi and Gir cheered as well.

"Wait for me!" Leo called out as he rushes to the others.

"Where did you find it?" Artemisia asked him.

"There," Dib said as he points at the very bottom of the throne, "The button is the same colour, tiny and at the place people normally wouldn't notice... I guess I have a bit suspicion, but didn't have enough evidence to back it up."

Dib turns to the entrance and takes a deep breath.

"But now... I have a ton and I'm gonna bring justice to my father and sister," Dib said, "And take Ate down... hopefully..."

"Do not worry, I will protect you with everything I got," Artemisia told him.

"... Thanks," Dib replied, "I own you one,"

"Please, think nothing of it," Artemisia told him, "Now, we shall go,"

"Yeah, agreed," Dib agreed with her as the two follow after the others.

Ate carries Lily's soul to a strange, round device that she puts it in and suddenly, the soul completely breaks in half. She takes the one half and throws it at Lily; giving her back half of her soul.

"I still need her in my plan," Ate thought.

Zim slowly opens his eyes and sees her, causing him to growl as he tries to get up with his only arm, but couldn't.

"Ah, you're awake," Ate spoke.

"You... bitch...!" Zim growled, which he looks at Lily, who is still unconscious, "The hell... did you do to her?!"

"Simple," Ate replied, "I just halved her soul and give one half back to her since I still need her for my plans,"

"Grr... and the other soul?" Zim asked.

"As if I would ever tell you," Ate told him, "I'm not stupid enough to reveal my entire plan to the enemy, unlike a certain ex-Invader, who wait! You're never was an Invader in the first place!"

"Shut up!" Zim yelled at her, which he suddenly heard a gunshot.

The shot strikes Ate's hand, causing her to grab the device with the other half the soul in it. Ate's eyes widen in shock and she glares at the shooter, who happens to be Ronin himself.

"You!" Ate growled.

"Ronin-human!" Zim shouted, "Gir! Harumi-human! Artemisia and... Dib-stink!?"

"Yep, it's me!" Dib replied.

"H-Harumi?!" Ate asked in shock, "T-that name..."

"And you're Ate, aren't you?" Harumi glares at her with pure spite, "... The woman who murdered my mother!"

"..." Ate's eyes become widen in shock... and guilt.

"And the one who betrays the Six mirages and caused the disbandment in the first place!" Artemisia blamed her. "As well as responsible for indirectly killing many innocent lives during the Shadow Attack by creating the Shadow Dragon in the first place!"

"... I..." Ate muttered. "Your... your mother... I..."

"Shut up!" Harumi yelled at her, "You have no right to even mention her!"

The young girl shoots out ice shards at her, which she quickly starts deflecting with her whips. Robin takes out his katana and starts creating wind slashes and Leo starts throwing fire punches at her as well.

"This is for my country!" Ronin shouted as he joins in the attack.

"Ahhhh!" Dib shouted as he charges at Ate while she's busy defending herself. "This is for my father!"

"Oh shit!" Ate thought as she ducks down, which she quickly grabs the device and teleports out.

"Come back here!" Dib shouted as he kneels down, "G... fuck! She... she took everything from me... and now... I... I..."

"... Dib-san..." Harumi muttered as she walks up to him, "Don't worry, we'll get our revenge someday. I know we will!"

"... I... I guess you're right..."

Dib looks and sees Leo carrying Zim and Lily.

"Master! Your arm!" Gir shouted in tears. "It's gone!"

"D-don't worry, Gir..." Zim told him, "I... I just get a replacement, no big deal."

Suddenly, Zim's phone starts ringing, which Gir takes it out from the renegade's pocket and picks it up.

"Hi Tori!" Gir cheered goofily.

"Hey Gir," Tori replied through the phone. "Is Zim There?"

"Yep!"

"Then, put it on speaker,"
"Okie-dookie!" Gir replied as he puts it on speaker.

"... ZIM! WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?!" Tori shouted, "I was trying to call you all day, but there wasn't any signal!"

"... It's a very long story..." Zim replied.

"Whatever! Leo, bring everyone back to headquarters!" Tori ordered the orc.

"Including Dib?" Leo asked him.

"... Huh?" Tori asked in a dumbfounded tone.

"Long story short, Dib is on our side now after he found out Ate's bitchy side," Ronin explained to her.

"Ah! Got it," Tori replied, "In that case, bring him in here too,"

"Okay," Leo obeyed, "Yo! You two! We're going now!"

"W-Wait! Gaz!" Dib shouted, "I-she must be here! She has to!"

"Dib! Not now," Artemisia told him, "I'm sorry, but we need to go before SEG soldiers comes in,"

"..." Dib looks down and mutters, "Fine..."

"Good," Artemisia replied as the others walks up to Leo and touches his arms.

"We're ready!" Leo told Tori, which the group suddenly gets teleported out.

The group teleports back into Tori's lab, which the scientist rushes to them.

"Zim! Leo! Gir!" Tori shouted, "What the hell happen?!"

"Long story short," Zim said, "Lily and the other Alter units is Gaz's clones, she got brainwashed and I have to sacrifice my arm to snap her out of it, then she lost half of her soul to Ate. That's all I could explain,"

"Damn... well, that explains your missing arm," Tori said, "Leo, take them to the infirmary room!"

"Sure, Tori!" Leo replied as he takes Zim and Lily to the infirmary room.

"... Tori-san, where's Valarie?" Ronin asked her.

"She's in the infirmary room," Tori told him while having a lollipop on her mouth, "She used too much of her powers to try to kill Kronin, so she lost consciousness,"
"I-Is she okay?" Ronin asked worriedly.

"Yeah, she's being watch by my mum," Tori told him, which he sighs of relief.

"... Thank you, Tori-san," Ronin thanked her, "I owe you a dept,"

"Think nothing of it," Tori replied, "I'm her friend, you're her boyfriend, so it's only natural we both worried for her,"

"... You do have a point there," Ronin said. "But regardless, I must thank you,"

"No problem," Tori replied.

"Now, I must visit Valarie, goodbye," Ronin said as he leaves.

Tori sighs and turns around.

"I'm gonna continue working on Drei," Tori said.

"Wait! What happened to Drei!?" Gir asked.

"She nearly got killed by Ate," Tori told them, "Thankfully, her core was unharmed, so I can easily repair her."

"Core...?" Gir asked.

"Yeah, it's basically like a human heart," Tori explained, "Every core is irreplaceable, so if one gets destroyed, then that target will be forever gone, no matter how much we tried to repair them,"

"Thank goodness Drei's core is okay than," Harumi replied.

"Yeah,"

Dib raised an eyebrow and looks at Tori with a confused expression.

"Drei is one of the Alter units," Tori told him, "She got attacked by Ate while escorting Lily out of the city and to us."

"I see..." Dib replied, "...I-It's my entire fault... if I haven't let my greed get the best out of me, none of this mess would have happened!"

"Yeah, it's your fault," Tori told him nonchalantly, "But what's done is done, all we can do is put a stop to this, that's it,"

"...Yeah, you're right," Dib replied, "But... just because I want to correct my mistakes doesn't mean I'm gonna officially join you guys,"

"Fine by me," Tori shrugged, "I mean, Ronin isn't an official member, but still help us out, so it's really not a big deal."

"Cool," Dib replied and he leaves.

(Meanwhile)

Ate teleports into Kronin's lab and walks towards him.

"I got half of Artemis' soul," Ate told him.

"Ha ha ha! Yes!" Kronin shouted as he walks to a pod covered in a black sheet, "Time... for the real event!"

Kronin takes off the sheets, revealing a unconscious little girl with very long, dark purple hair, unnaturally pale skin and has the same markings as the Alter units' and Lily's on her chest.

Ate opens the device, where the soul floats towards the girl and enters her body.

The girl starts to purple, glowing lines across her cheeks and entire body as well as black clothing starts covering most of her body. The pod opens up and the girl steps out of it as she opens her yellow, demonic eyes.

"Good morning... Gaz Membrane," Ate said to the girl, who happens to be Gaz herself.

"... I am no longer Gaz..." 'Gaz' told her, "Gaz is unconscious, so I'm taking her body,"

"Of course, my apologies," Ate told her.

"Don't be, thank you for weakening her," She thanked her, "Even though my body is weak, at least Gaz couldn't put up much of a fight against me and making it much easier to control her body,"

She creates a dark energy ball and smirks as she looks at the duo.

"Oh... And call me Kuro, from now on..." She told them, "The new goddess of despair and darkness..."
