I was sleeping peacefully when I felt myself being woken up by my wife Yang. "Hey baby, wake up we have arrived at atlas" Yang said with a smile. "really?" I said. Yang smiled and nodded. "hey if you have never,
seen Atlas in person before you don't want to miss this" Uncle Qrow said, "come on Lana, let's go see Atlas" Ruby said as she smiled. Ruby helped me up. We all walked up to the front of the window. we gasped when we saw Atlas.
"is it weird that I am sort of nervous?" Ruby said. "no I will believe we have made it to Atlas when I see it" Yang said. "well believe it" Weiss said. "You know you make the trip up to Atlas over and over but you never,
get used to that view" Maria said. Then her metal eyes started malfunctioning. "oh come on!" Maria said annoyed. Weiss then,
looked out the window with a glare. "Weiss what is it?" Ruby said. we then looked up to see dozens of ships flying in the sky. "the Atlas air fleet.
I knew all of our ships were called back but..." Weiss said confused. "they are set up like they are expecting an attack" Uncle Qrow said.
then an officer on the radio spoke up, "manta 5-1. welcome home"

"please continue your approach to Atlas docking bay, Omega 12. a security team will meet you there. over" The officer said.
"I don't understand. What has happened here?" Ruby said. "I don't know" Uncle Qrow said. "but we are here. we got the lamp to Atlas.
so I guess we land and get some answers" Jaune said. "I am not so sure. I have never seen our forced deployed So aggressively before. if we land,
in a stolen ship there is no way the security team will let us anywhere near ironwood. they might even take me back to my father" Weiss said with worry.
"so..." Blake said. Weiss then had an idea. "Winter!" Weiss cried. she then got out her scroll. "put some distance between us and the fleet"
Weiss said. "you don't have to tell me twice" Maria said. then the ship moved faster. a few minutes later we have arrived in the city.
we then saw a broadcast of General Ironwood doing a speech about keeping Atlas safe. "General Ironwood" Yang said. "he looks tired" I said.
"James what have you been doing?" Uncle Qrow said with worry. I started to get a bit scared. Yang noticed and held my hand.
"Its gonna be okay" Yang said comforting me. we looked out the window and saw drama happening. Kids were destroying property. "This isn't right. none of this is right" Weiss said with worry. Nala and Sarabi,
went over to comfort Weiss. I looked at my husband Scar who was giving me a glare. I quickly looked away from him and turned my attention towards Yang. the officer on the radio spoke up again, "Manta 5-1 we have noticed,
a detour in your route. you are to make your way to docking bay omega 12 immediately, do you copy?" The officer said. "we are kinda running out of time here kids" Maria said. "we need to ditch this ship" Yang said.
"agreed. get lost in Mantle and buy ourselves some time" Uncle Qrow said. "I am telling you. my sister can take us to Ironwood" Weiss said.
"uhh Weiss" Blake said. we saw Weiss's sister Winter doing a broadcast reminding people about a punishable offense. "no offense Weiss,
I am not sure that this is a good idea anymore" Uncle Qrow said. "there is obviously something very wrong. if we can just talk to her we"
Uncle Qrow cut Weiss off. "look I am not even sure we should be talking to Ironwood. Until we know exactly what's going on with,
Mantle" Uncle Qrow said. Weiss was about to speak when Maria interrupted. "Everyone calm down. I know who can help with both" Maria said.
the officer on the radio spoke again. "Manta 5-1 you are to make your" Maria turned the radio off. "geez take a hint" Maria said.
It has been a while and we landed the ship. We ditched it and Maria was leading us to someone she knew. "come on now it shouldn't be much farther" Maria said.
"is this many soldiers normal?" Jaune asked. "no, at least I don't think so" Weiss said. "This whole city just seems awful" Blake said.
"yeah you don't like it here?" A drunk guy said as he appeared out of an alleyway. "There is plenty of space out in the tundra" the drunk guy said.
"sorry I didn't mean to" Blake said but the drunk guy cut her off. "Atlas is the greatest kingdom in the world alright?" The drunk guy said.
"hey!" Ruby yelled angrily. "we can't cause a scene" Blake said. "the embargo, got us in a rough patch. but it will blow over you see" another drunk guy said. "we try to help the other kingdoms and this is what happens? I say let em out!"
the first drunk guy said. "I apologize. I didn't mean to insult you" Blake said. "stupid faunus like you wouldn't under" the drunk guy was inturuppted when Weiss used her weapon and sent the drunk guy flying.
We all looked at Weiss. "It was worth it" Weiss said. we quickly ran before the soldiers saw us. after a while we stopped at a place Maria led us too. in the place we were talking to a man that would help us with the relic.
after a while of talking we heard sirens go off. we rushed outside to see a Grimm attack happening. We quickly drew our weapons out.
"I guess the city defenses aren't doing much" Oscar said. "somehow that dosn't surprise me" Nora said. "well we didn't come this far,
to fail now!" Ruby said. As Grimm were charging towards us we begin to attack the Grimm. we kept slashing and fighting the Grimm killing them,
one by one. A Grimm was about to attack Blake when a green laser beam slashed at the Grimm. We looked up and gasped.
we continued to see green lasers slashing at the Grimm. we looked up and we couldn't believe what we saw. Penny was in front of us flying.
we were shocked. Penny was killed in the battle of beacon by Cinder but now she is back to life. "Penny?" Ruby said. "Darling why don't you say,
hello to your friends?" Pennys father said as he walked up to us. Penny's eyes beamed when she saw us. "Sal...U...Tations!" Penny shouted as she,
charged at Ruby. Ruby was screaming excitedly as Penny was charging at her. Penny then landed on top of Ruby. I giggled a bit.
Penny then got off of Ruby. "It's such a pleasure to see you all again" Penny said. "Penny I... I thought you?" Ruby said but Penny's father,
Pietro read her mind. "died? I guess in a matter of speaking she did. but we were able to cover her core from Amity Arena once it hade,
made it's way back to Atlas. It took me some time but" Pietro said. "I am good as new!" Penny said happily. "better even. And now I am,
the official protector of the city" Penny said with pride. "thats my girl! we aren't going to let ripping to shreds stop us are we?" Pietro said laughing. "no sir!" Penny said. "this is..." Weiss said. "strangely wholesome" Blake said.
"sounds like Penny to me" Yang said with a smile. "we have so many things to catch up about. I cannot wait" Penny said. we then heard alarms go off. "it seems we will have to wait" Penny said. Penny then took off.
"I can't tell if I completely understand what's going on, or have like a million questions!" Nora said confused. "and thankfully I have about a thousand answers" Pietro said. we then continued walking. "well that was,
unexpected. never a dull moment" Jaune said. "but I wouldn't say unwelcome" Uncle Qrow said. "I was honestly expecting things to,
go a lot rougher" Uncle Qrow said. as we kept walking we were blinded by flashing lights. ropes came flying out and we fell to the floor.
Our hands were tied behind our backs. I was scared. then a group of five people came out in front of us. My family was angry. they didn't get captured,
and was trying to help me. "good work team" the leader of the group said. one of them pushed Nala out of the way and pinned me down,
with their foot. "hey!" Nala yelled. "let me go!" I cried trying to escape. "whats going on!?" Oscar cried. "hey pal I am a licensed huntsman.
just helped save everyone" Uncle Qrow said. the team then took our weapons. I looked at my family with fear in my eyes.
"mom, dad?" I said and whimpered a bit. "don't worry sweetie everything will be okay" Uru said. Tears were streaming down my face.
"Don't worry Lana we will come back for you as soon as we can. Just do everything they say and don't fight back" Ahadi said.
I watched as they took the relic from Ruby. "No!" I cried trying to escape again. "lets get them loaded into the next transport" the leader said.
"please we were just trying to help" Ruby said. "lets move out!" the leader said. they roughly took us by the arms and tied our hands together in front of us.
they threw us into a transport ship and closed the door.
