I'm really happy I actually got this far with a story, I'm known to leave projects within days so thats nice. Considering the fact the story is kinda almost over (prob 5-8 more chapters) its been really fun to write and I hope you can find some enjoyment out of it, its got lots of little details and stuff if your into analyzing stuff. Anyways, reviews are amazing and this is CHAPTER 20!

"Stop acting like your sorry, you aren't," hissed Nightkit at Snowkit.

"I wasn't trying to get you in trouble, I just…" Snowkit trailed off with no excuse.

"Exactly, you only wanted to save yourself, and now I'm hungry because of you," said Nightkit.

"I can sneak you some prey," she offered.

"It doesn't matter, just go away," replied Nightkit.

The damage was already done… nothing could redeem that moment. Snowkit doesn't care about me… does any cat? They're all so selfish, they only care about themselves and not what the other feels. Nightstorm started to drift into this current thoughts. At least a cat like Addertail, at least he does things for the entire Clan.

Nightstorm was tired of every warrior feeling sorry for him, as if some huge part of his life was taken away from him when Snowkit died. In reality, everything got better that day. He never even remembered Snowkit until other clanmates mentioned it, and if so, it would still haunt him. Even if Nightstorm was happy with her gone, he could never forget her look of terror.

"No, we aren't going to let IceClan warriors into our territory to collect the bodies, that's ridiculous," said Addertail to Snakefang.

Nightstorm had been zoning out while thinking about Snowkit. The battle was successful, only a few light scratches on the FireClan cats, and the IceClan patrol dead. Even if Nightstorm didn't agree that they should use dirty tactics like he once did, he still saw the reason in it.

"But we should at least keep some honor, otherwise we're no better than rogues," meowed Snakefang.

Nightstorm was surprised that Snakefang of all cats would say that. He always found the deputy creepy and lightly suspected he might one day kill Yellowstar himself, but that day never came. Instead Snakefang must've been convinced of at least some of Yellowstar's lies about the Clans, and their 'perfection'.

"That's what the Clans want you to think, that this is the only way of life, and the code must not be broken," explained Addertail, "In reality, it's much more practical to have the code be… changeable."

Snakefang shrugged. "What shall we do with the bodies?"

"Leave them, they have no use to us. Do patrol that side of our territory extra carefully though, we can't have any IceClan warriors sneaking in."

Snakefang grudgingly nodded. Addertail turned to Nightstorm. "Nightstorm, come with me to our meeting tonight. It's very important, and our other members will want to speak with you."

Nightstorm felt uncomfortable by this invitation. It sounded similar to that supposed 'StarClan cat' he had met in the tunnels, but he knew he should trust Addertail. After all, only good things came from his advice.

Nightstorm nodded. "Who will we be meeting?" he asked.

"Some spies from CaveClan and LightClan, we need to discuss how to find Stonepelt."

Nightstorm instantly tried to think of an excuse. "Er, I said I would go hunting with Mintbreeze, so I think I'm just gonna do that."

"Ah yes, you are willing to go until I mention Stonepelt. Give him up already, he isn't who you think he is."

Maybe so… But I would want to give him a chance. "Fine, i'll go. But I'm not going to trust Stonepelt is an 'imposter' instantly, these are my visions after all."

"That's fine, just have an open mind."

Nightstorm padded into the dimly lit cave, a small opening that a few cats, all Clans excluding IceClan, were gathered at.

"Greetings Addertail, I see you brought Nightstorm along with you," said a brown tom.

Addertail introduced Nightstorm to his followers. "Nightstorm, this is Sleekfoot, he is a skilled fighter and our main representative from LightClan."

Sleekfoot nodded in greetings as another cream colored she-cat with black spots approached from the side of Sleekfoot. "And my name is Dapplefur, from CaveClan."

"Good to meet you… so… why am I here?" questioned Nightstorm.

"Our allies from the other Clans wanted to meet you," explained Addertail.

"Indeed," said Sleekfoot, "and it looks as if it paid off. I am now more confident that Nightstorm shall lead us to victory, whatever it takes."

"That's all good and all Sleekfoot," meowed Dapplefur anxiously, "but how exactly can we get Stonepelt? My warriors got a glimpse at the IceClan camp, he's under very heavy surveillance. Even if our fighters can wipe out the other Clans, how will we get through an entire camp?"

"Using Streamheart as bait clearly hasn't done anything," murmured Sleekfoot, "so we must lure Stonepelt out with another way."
"We could…" suggested Dapplefur, "use the tunnels, the ones we stand in at this moment?"
"Silence," hissed Addertail, "he is listening. We shall bring Stonepelt out by other means… If we were to launch a full scale attack, not enough to wipe IceClan out but enough that we aren't harmed, he would be vulnerable from the lack of warriors."

Nightstorm blinked in confusion. Who's he? And that plan is terrible, no offense Addertail.

Dapplefur slowly nodded. "That… might work. I still feel like the tunnels-"

"Shut up about the tunnels, I'm the one making the decisions."

"Whatever you say, Addertail."

Addertail looked as if he wanted to change the subject. "Have you managed to recruit any new followers?"
Dapplefur smirked, clearly satisfied with what she would answer with. "Two, both capable warriors. I believe half of CaveClan is on our side, so overtaking it should be easy."
Nightstorm didn't pay attention to what they said after that. He didn't mention how awful the plan was simply because he knew it might not work, and that was what he needed. What about the Clans? What about what they need? You just said you hate selfish cats, so stop being selfish!

Nightstorm couldn't help thinking about this, his thoughts conflicting. It's not that he's evil or anything, he's obviously good… just… he needs to figure out his place.

Nightstorm had a different idea pop up. What if he's acting like this to trick you? To manipulate you? If so, it's clear it has already worked. Give up on him, move on with your life and make the Clans great.

Edit: Thanks reviewers for telling me the chapter was messed up... It was lucky that I woke up early today (about 7:30 AM) compared to my usual very late sleeping...
