Unknown Mystery

We were back in the diner and all of us, minus Mikado, was present.

"Well, that was the last island according to Monocrow." I said. "What did we find?"

"I was at the entertainment studio." Kokoro answered. "I explored inside after you left and I found an art studio and a TV studio, there was nothing unusual, but one of the TV screens showed something I didn't expect to see."

"Huh? What did you see?" Yoruko asked.

"I looked at one of the TV screens up close and it showed footage of a report interview with a man who looked very familiar."

"What did the man look like?" Emma asked.

Kokoro looked unsure to answer. "I hope this doesn't cause you to panic. But it was an interview on Yuri."

"What? Space pervert was being interviewed on TV?" Hibiki asked.

"But he looked nothing like how we saw him. He was much taller, had a lot of muscle and his hair was shorter. I think he looked older too, meaning that it was happening in the future."

"So it was an interview of Yuri in the future?" Setsuka asked. "But then, what does that mean?"

"Well, remember what I said about the virtual reality and how Mikado plans to use the simulation to bring Utsuro back to life?" Emma responded. "I have a theory that when we were brought into this virtual world, Mikado must've hacked the simulation to make us look much younger than we actually are in the real world."

"Wait, wait, wait!" I waved my hands. "Are you saying that how we look like is how we used to look in the past?"

The moment I asked that, my heart thumped, that's another clue added to the collection.

"It's only a theory, so I could be wrong. But Mikado was always one to prepare for every single scenario, just like Junko who always had a backup plan."

"This is getting way over my head." Setsuka said. "Can we move onto something else before my brain turns to mush?"

"Well, I checked the hotel and apart from the automated system at the reception desk, which showed recorded entries when someone used a hotel ID card to check in or out of the hotel, it was just any other hotel." I replied. "The rooms were bigger than the rooms we have on the cruise, I only checked one room though, I didn't feel that we had the time to check every single one of them."

"Yes, I'm afraid each room in the hotel is more or less the same." Emma said.

"Well, I was at the giant mart, and it was super huge." Hibiki added. "I thought I was gonna get lost at one point, but I did notice something at the far back."

"What was it?" Kokoro asked.

"A door that led to a huge warehouse filled with loads of crates and containers, and get this! There was a bipedal robot at the back."

That caught my attention. "A bipedal robot?"

"Yeah, it was like one of those mech suits you see in sci-fi animes."

"A bipedal walker than can be operated by a person." Kokoro said. "Was that part of Mikado's plan?"

"I would say that once again, it was Mikado acting on his own." Emma sighed. "But that wasn't the only thing either, there was a gun store on the island as well. It was quite big and it had a huge variety of weapon types. There were even explosives and sharp objects like knives, axes and hooks. There was also a body armor suit as well."

"A gun store?!" Yoruko exclaimed. "Why would that be on this island?"

"Mikado must be feeling confident that a killing will happen again." Setsuka said. "Well, he can dream on all he likes."

Yuki who had been silent all this time, spoke up. "What about the slums?"

"Oh yeah, what happened to you exactly?" Hibiki asked.

"I may be going crazy, but I thought I saw a ghost hiding in the slums."

"Well considering that we're in a virtual world, I suppose anything is possible." Emma said.

"But how, though?" Setsuka asked. "Because I didn't see it when I was with him."

"Then it could be another glitch in the simulation." Kokoro replied. "With how things stand, we will have to be ready for anything at anytime."

I nodded. "True, and since we didn't find any clues to escape, our only goal now is to keep Yuki safe whilst we prepare to make plans for when we're ready to take on Mikado."

"Yes, he may be a powerful wizard who uses the virtual reality to his advantage, but he's still just one man." Emma replied. "But even so, he will be extremely dangerous and who knows what Monocrow will do if he finds out."

"Then again, he might just put a stop to it and punish us all for violating school rules." Setsuka said.

"Well, we haven't heard anything from him since the last island was opened." Yoruko added.

"Right, let's break it off from here and start thinking how we can keep protecting Yuki." I declared. "I'll be in my room if any of you need me."

"Actually, mind if I talk with you in private?" Emma asked, blushing. "I want to tell you something."

"Sure you can, come with me."

Hibiki winked at me as I stood up, looks like Emma's ready to tell me about her feelings.

"You don't need to worry about me." Yuki muttered. "Whatever happens...I'll do something about it."

"I'll keep an eye on Yuki for now." Kokoro said.

The others agreed and I left the diner with Emma as we went up to her room. It was the first time I had gone to her room, it had various movie posters, a few gold trophies that were movie-related and a clapperboard on the desk. There was also a file that was in half black and half white with some kind of sinister logo on it.

"If you're curious, Owen, that's the file of the goal details that each Void member was given by Mikado." Emma said. "You won't find anything in there I didn't share with you all, however. Everything else that Mikado wants to happen will only be known to him alone."

"I see...so what did you want to tell me in private?" I asked as I sat down on her bed.

Emma sat next to me. "How well informed are you on the subject of love?"

"Well, ever since Yoruko confessed to me, I've been learning about love, step by step. Since then, Kokoro, Setsuka and Hibiki all fell for me one by one."

"In that case..." She then blushed. "Do you have room for one more?"

I should've known...and I already had my answer.

"How about I answer that question with an action? If you don't mind."

"Oh, that's quite bold of you to say." She smiled. "Then please, answer to my feelings."

I put my arms around her and she did the same, I moved my head closer and placed my lips on hers. She hummed and kissed me back as we embraced and made out in a gentle manner. All was quiet and I could only hear the faint sound of my beating and my heart thumping a little since I was still getting used to being in love and despite falling in love five times now. We pulled away and both of us were blushing away, but smiling together.

"So you accept my feelings?" She asked.

"I do...and regardless of what your background is, you're a beautiful young woman who deserves to have second chance and be loved." I replied.

She sighed and hugged me. "Thank you, dear Owen...I love you deeply."

"And I love you too, Emma."

We shared another kiss which became small gentle kisses, but our make out moment was cut short by an announcement.

*DING DONG, DING DONG*

"Attention students! This is an emergency announcement! Everyone, please evacuate the monocruise immediately! I will be waiting outside!"

"Emergency...and evacuation?" I asked in confusion.

Emma's face went stern. "I have a bad feeling about this, let's leave now."

"Right..."

We left her room and rushed downstairs until we were out of the cruise and stood by the beach as the others got out as well.

"Alright, is this everyone?" Monocrow asked. "We better not lose anyone on the cruise!"

"What's going on?" Kokoro asked.

"Oho! Allow me to answer that question!" Mikado appeared. "I hope you all have enjoyed making so many wonderful memories on the ship, because it is time to move on and proceed to the final phase of my plan!"

"If you're thinking of approaching Yuki, you've got another thing coming, buster." I stood in front of Yuki.

"Oh heavens no, it's still not time for that!" He then took out a switch as his masked side grinned. "It is time to put the Monocruise out of its misery!"

"Huh?" Yoruko asked. "What is that?"

Emma gasped. "No...Mikado, you wouldn't?!"

"I can and I will." He replied as he smirked. "I could've used my own magic, but this is much more convenient. Say goodbye to the Monocruise! While it was a valuable asset in keeping you all safe, I have no need for it any more! Rest in pieces, Monocruise! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

He then pushed the switch and in one split second...

*KA-BOOOOOOOOOM*

...the monocruise that had become our own virtual home, was consumed in multiple explosions before it went up like a bonfire as it slowly sunk into the sea.

"HA HA HA HA HA HA!" Mikado laughed evilly.

"Eeeeeek!" Monocrow shivered. "My Monocruise!"

"Whew! That felt incredible! But oh no, what are we supposed to do now?" He cheered. "Well, don't fret, everyone, we still have the hotel at Higa City."

"Not unless you blow that up as well." Yuki said quietly. "You want everyone to die, don't you?"

"Well at this point, all I need is you, Mr. Maeda," Mikado's dark appearance showed up. "The rest of you are nothing but sacrificial lambs that I won't hesitate to slaughter if you continue to get in my way."

"Hold it, Mikado!" Monocrow said. "Regardless of your role as the mastermind and regardless of what your plans are, you are still a student who will be punished for violating school rules. I have allowed you some leeway many times before, but you are pushing your luck by carrying on with this mindless destruction!"

"I see...well then, did you know that you have been wired to explode as well?"

Monocrow was then in complete shock.

"Stand in my way and you will end up just like the Monocruise!"

"Eeeeeeeek!" He yelled in fright. "I don't wanna be blown up!"

"Calm down, Mr. Monocrow. There is no detonator to blow you up, but all I have to do is say two words and you will be no more!" He grinned. "So what shall it be everyone? Destroy our teacher and then kill you all one by one so Mr. Maeda is mine? Or you will step aside and give me what I want?"

I looked down...this bastard is obsessed with his goal and he doesn't care who stands in his way, but even so, I need to protect him like I promised Shinji.

"Girls, keep Yuki back. I want to see how far I can go against Mikado's magic." I stood in front of the others.

"What...Ro-Ro, what are you doing?" Setsuka asked in surprise.

"So in the end, my greatest threat will be standing in my way." Mikado sighed. "And I thought you had gotten smarter since the first trial, but it seems that was all just a facade at the very end. Alright then...prove that you can stand against my magic and the power of Void as I ensure that you will die in despair!"

He casted a fireball at me and I flinched, almost getting knocked off my feet.

"OWEN!" Yoruko yelled.

"Hmph, of course you could stand that. I see that Mr. Kasai and Mr. Makunouchi trained you well." Mikado said. "But even you won't be able to hold out for long."

"Owen...please...don't get yourself killed." Yuki pleaded lightly.

Mikado casted a firewall around me and I was now writhing in pain, the firewall then faded and I was now a mess with burnt holes in my clothes and I was covered in a few places with bruises. Mikado then floated up and was ready to attack again, but with a giant fireball and was ready to hurl it right at me.

"You did well, Mr. Rogers." Mikado smirked. "But I suppose this is your limit. Will you burn in your dreaded despair, or will you live with whatever hope you have left?"

The girls were in shock, unable to say anything whilst Yuki was already upset.

"Students...please give Yuki to Mikado...that's an order." Monocrow said as his face lowered. "If you do not, I won't be held responsible for Mikado's actions."

The silence was deafening, but it was then broken when someone walked past me.

"Yuki...no!" I said quietly.

"Owen...that's enough." Yuki replied. "He wants me and he'll kill you to get me, I don't want you to die. Please live and if anything happens to me, make sure you take care of the girls, they'll help you find the hope that has escaped me."

The other girls were in shock, unable to speak what was happening now.

"Fufufufu, you made a wise choice, Mr. Maeda." Mikado smirked.

"This isn't for you." Yuki replied. "This is for my friends...I won't let you hurt them anymore."

"Really, will you still believe that after I do this?" He clicked his fingers and a pair of handcuffs appeared on Yuki's hands.

Yuki glared at him. "I'm warning you, mastermind. If you ever give me a chance, I will finish what Big Bro started!"

"Fufu, Mr. Kasai cannot help you here. Now then, why don't we-"

He was interrupted when a thunderstorm suddenly rolled in along with light rainfall.

"Hm? What's this? I didn't program a thunderstorm in this world."

"There must be a technical difficulty somewhere." Monocrow said. "Perhaps you should take your plan-making elsewhere."

"That may be for the best." Mikado stood by Yuki. "Come along, Mr. Maeda, we have to get you ready in bringing master Utsuro to the real world, fufufufu!"

He and Yuki then vanished away.

"YUKI!" Hibiki yelled.

"Ki-Ki...no" Setsuka said.

Kokoro looked sad and she hugged me.

Yoruko glared at Monocrow. "Tch, you coward!"

Monocrow looked down again. "I'm sorry...but there's only so much I can do as a teacher, I won't allow myself to be killed if I turn on Mikado."

"Monocrow, it would be best if you just leave us be." Emma said.

He said nothing and vanished away.

"Come on, we need to get out of the rain." I said as I got up.

We ran as fast as we could to Higa City and went inside the hotel where we were able to catch our breaths.

"Hah...hah...that was...the longest...I ever had...to run." Emma panted.

"We got away safely, but..." Kokoro said. "...I'm now at a loss of what to do."

"Owen, what the hell were you thinking?!" Yoruko exclaimed at me. "Why did you try to get yourself killed?!"

"Woah, calm down, Ruko." Setsuka said. "He was trying to protect Ki-Ki."

"I know he was, but he could've died!"

She was right, I had no counter for her words, I wanted to keep Yuki safe, but I ended up failing that promise.

"Because we promised Shinji we wouldn't let Yuki be taken by Mikado." I answered, looking down. "And now, we failed that promise."

"Now what are we supposed to do?" Hibiki asked.

Yoruko took a deep breath and calmed down before she hugged me tight.

"Please don't ever put yourself in harm's way again!" She cried. "I don't wanna lose you, too!"

"I'm sorry, Yoruko..." I hugged her back. "...we couldn't keep our promise to Shinji."

"All we can do now is rest for the day." Emma said. "Mikado thinks he's won now that he has Yuki, but its not over yet!"

"Because of someone watching over us from the outside?" Kokoro asked.

"Yes, I have a suspicion that they will be planning to get involved in hacking the simulation more, now that it's gotten this far."

"In the meantime, I better rest easy." I held my arm. "Man, the aftermath of feeling the scars really hurt."

"Make sure you use cold water and a cloth, it would be better if someone did that for you."

"I'll help you with that." Setsuka volunteered, despite blushing a little. "I'll fix you right up."

I nodded. "Thanks, I could use the help."

"Well then, l-lucky you." Yoruko blushed. "Can I check on your later?"

"Of course you can."

"Well putting that aside, shall we each check in and take one of the hotel rooms?" Setsuka asked.

"Yeah, it's the only place we can sleep in now." Hibiki replied. "But let's make sure we each sleep in a hotel room on the same floor so we're close together."

"Good idea." Emma agreed. "I'll start with mine."

We each checked ourselves in and took the elevator to the first floor and one by one, the girls chose a room along the hallway until it was just me and I went in one with the hotel ID Card. I went over to the nearest bed and laid down to catch my breath for a while before Setsuka came in with a small bowl of water and a cloth to help get rid of the pain in the burnt scars. It didn't feel great at first but I got used to it. But still...now we had to find a way to rescue Yuki...I hope we can.

It was the late evening and I had a notification on my handbook, I turned it on to see a group chat discussion taking place.

Yuki Maeda invited Owen and 5 others.

Yuki Maeda: Can anyone see this message?

Emma Magorobi: Yuki! You're okay!

Hibiki Otonokoji: Are you alright? Has that creep hurt you?

Yuki Maeda: I'm fine, he hasn't done anything to me yet.

Looks like he can still talk fine, I had to send a message.

Owen Rogers: Have are you able to chat on the handbook?

Yuki Maeda: I was able to sneak away, when Mikado and Monocrow got into a heated argument a few minutes ago.

Setsuka Chiebukuro: Where are you right now?

Yuki Maeda: Remember when you said about the mart being very huge?

Hibiki Otonokoji: Yeah?

Yuki Maeda: I'm hiding in the darkest part of the warehouse.

Kokoro Mitsume: Mikado has to be aware of that, right?

Yuki Maeda: It's okay, I was able to grab a weapon and a body armor from the gun store before I got here. Also, this is a good time for me to say some things.

I had a feeling it was going to be a long one.

Yoruko Kabuya: Okay, Yuki, we're listening.

Yuki Maeda: I know that I've been feeling down ever since Shinji was executed.

Yuki Maeda: That was because that no matter what anyone said, I always believed in Big Bro.

Yuki Maeda: So when he was gone, I felt lost, depressed and unable to do anything except be swallowed by despair.

Yuki Maeda: But that's why, I cannot allow Mikado to continue finishing his plan.

Yuki Maeda: No matter what happens, I won't let him win! I will stand against him to the very end!

Setsuka Chiebukuro: Ki-Ki...

Owen Rogers: Well said, Yuki.

Yoruko Kabuya: I'm so glad to hear that, we can't let him win.

Emma Magorobi: I believe we have our motivation, now we just need to prepare.

Yuki Maeda: May I suggest the gun store? You should be able to find something in there to protect yourselves against Mikado's magic.

Kokoro Mitsume: It may be the only option we have, if we want to save you.

Yuki Maeda: Alright, if you're convinced you can save me, then I'll be waiting at the warehouse behind the supermarket.

Setsuka Chiebukuro: Ki-Ki, please don't go anywhere else.

Hibiki Otonokoji: Just hold on tight, we'll save you!

Owen Rogers: When it's tomorrow morning, we'll do this, girls...

I put the handbook down and got ready to sleep, I just hope that nothing happens to one of the girls during the night...

The next day arrived and I got up. I moved my body a little and I was feeling a lot better after recovering from the attacks I felt from Mikado yesterday. I left the hotel room and with a new purpose as I and the five girls came out of thier hotel rooms and made our way over to the gun store. Once were inside, we had a look at the weapons on display. I found an assault rifle and a pistol before grabbing a weapon holster so I could them in place.

I could see the other girls picking their own chosen weapons. Hibiki had a pair of Uzi guns, Emma chose a silenced pistol and a rapier, Setsuka picked up a couple of plastic explosives and a double-barrel shotgun, Yoruko grabbed a grenade launcher and an RPG, I guess she means business. As for Kokoro, she went with a sniper rifle as well as a body armor that looked smaller, I guess she found that hidden away. She also had a pistol for just in case.

"Well, look at you ladies, armed and ready for a fight." I smirked. "I like it."

"It's not my usual daily style." Yoruko replied. "But with these weapons, Mikado will have nowhere to go but down."

"So if we're all ready, we should begin the rescue operation." Emma said.

"Heck yeah!" Hibiki posed. "Let's go and kick some ass!"

Setsuka chuckled. "We really have come a long way, girls."

"Yes, we've all grown and changed a lot." Kokoro nodded. "And Owen is the one who made it possible."

I blushed. "I have a feeling that a group hug will be waiting for me when we get out of here."

"Hmhm, I think it'll be more than just that." Yoruko gave me a suggestive look.

'Woah there! There's a time and a place for that!'

I rubbed my head. "Anyways, let's go!"

Armed and loaded, we left the gun store and made our way to the supermarket. We went past the store part and opened the doors to the warehouse, but when we got there, we witnessed a sight that shattered all of our regained hopes. The daylight from outside shone to the centre of the warehouse and there was a massive pile of rubble that had to be part of the ceiling, but the real eye-opener was that below the pile, was a small pool of blood and a familiar looking red tie.

"Yuki?!" I exclaimed.

*DING DONG, DING DONG*

"A body has been discovered! Everyone, please gather inside the supermarket warehouse at Higa City!"

No...that means...Yuki is dead?

*DEADLY LIFE*

We stared in horror at the rubble and the small blood...the tie...

"Wh-what?" Hibiki gasped.

"That tie..." Kokoro whispered.

Yoruko yelled. "AHHHHHHH!"

Setsuka shivered. "No...no, that can't be right! Please no...not Ki-Ki!"

"We were...too late to save him?" Emma asked in shock.

'He spoke to us in the chat room last night...how can he be dead?!'

Monocrow then appeared. "Goodness me, what an absolute mess this is! Even I'm confused by these turn of events."

"What do you mean?" Kokoro asked.

"Like I said before, there's only so much I can do as a teacher. Speaking of which, due to the unknown circumstances around this one, here's what little I could gather in this file for you." I was handed a monocrow file. "And don't worry about rushing, it is daytime so you can take a little longer than usual. As for getting to the trial room, you just leave that to me. I know another way we can get there. Good luck, team!"

He left and I looked around at the sight...Mikado hadn't turned up, he must be hiding somewhere, maybe I'll find him along the way.

*INVESTIGATION START*

I better start by reading the file, but when I did, it wasn't the same as before. The victim is...unknown? The body...or what remains of it...was discovered in the supermarket warehouse, the cause of death is unknown and the time of death is unknown.

'What the...so the file is more or less useless for this one.'

"Owen, let's take a look at the rubble." Kokoro said. "Even if the file is no good, we can still find clues."

"Yeah, good point." I replied as we looked at the rubble. "Seeing the blood under the rubble means the victim had to have been killed there."

"Yes. It does seem the most likely scenario. I would theorize that the cause of death was being crushed."

I nodded. "True, it does seem like the only possibility, so I think we can conclude that easily."

Ceiling Rubble added to truth bullets!

"So can we rule out being killed by another person?" I asked.

"No, you can still rule that in." She replied. "Take a closer look."

I stood closer to the rubble and Emma was there who volunteered to keep watch.

"Oh Owen, do you see what's sticking out on the floor?" She asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, I can see a red tie that's sticking out of the rubble...that has to be Yuki's tie."

"Yes. He was the only one who wore a red tie, there's something else as well."

I hummed. "I see a small hole in the tie, almost like a bullet."

"A bullet hole, so that means he had to have been shot before he was killed."

"But Yuki said he had body armor so it wouldn't have hurt him or maybe Mikado was the one who shot him?"

'That was a good question, did Mikado shoot him or did he use his magic?'

Red Tie added to truth bullets!

"Owen, I found something over here." Hibiki called.

"What did you find." I asked.

She pointed to an object. "On the floor, it's a handbook."

"Hm?" I picked it up and tapped it to show Yuki's name. "So this is Yuki's handbook."

"Yeah, but it's weird."

I looked at her. "Why's that?"

"It's on the floor where the bipedal robot is meant to be. Now it's missing and I can't see it anywhere in here."

"Hmm, that's odd..."

'Did Mikado take the robot and if it was armed, did it destroy the ceiling of the warehouse and kill Yuki?'

Yuki's Handbook added to truth bullets!

"Owen, take a look at this create I found." Yoruko said.

Among the bottom row of shelves was a crate that had been opened and inside it were big cylinder tanks that were in green.

"What are those?" I asked.

Yoruko hummed. "Those look like liquid nitrogen tanks."

"Liquid nitrogen?"

"It's a common part that's used inside a car that's been customized as a racing car. I learnt about that when I was being acquainted with a few street racers one time."

'Well, they say you learn something new every day, but this takes the cake...'

"So then what could they have been used for?" I asked.

"Well, if what Hibiki says is true about seeing the bipedal robot, it could've been used to give the machine a boost to jump out of the warehouse." Kokoro answered. "So that way, it wouldn't have to break down a wall since all of the walls are perfectly intact."

'Then they must've jumped out of the building through the hole they created.'

Nitrogen Tanks added to truth bullets!

"You should check the gun store, just in case there's something we missed." Kokoro said. "Make sure to look through the supermarket aisles as well."

"Yeah, he was in there for a short while before coming here, so I'll do that now." I replied before l left the warehouse.

I walked along the aisles and saw Setsuka near the frozen food section.

"Oh, Ro-Ro, look what I found among the frozen packages." She said.

Among the frozen products was a cape, I pulled it out and it turned out to be a very familiar cape.

"What the? This is Mikado's cape!" I commented.

"Yeah, it has two bullet holes in there as well. Does that mean Ki-Ki attacked him first?"

'So it's possible Yuki shot Mikado twice before Mikado got a shot back on him, so then why was the cape stuffed in the frozen food products?'

I left the supermarket and went over to the gun store and went around to check for anything we didn't notice before. I then saw that on one of the shelves, there was an opened bag, I looked inside it to see that a case featured a sniper rifle that wasn't properly packed inside. Yuki said he had a gun on him, so this must be the weapon he used on Mikado. My guess is that they fought here and then ran into the warehouse before it all ended there.

"Now that I think about it, we don't know the time of death either." I said. "I guess I could go and ask for alibis so that I know where everyone was when it happened."

I left the gun store and went back to the warehouse.

"Kokoro, this may be pointless to ask since we don't have the time of death, but is it possible to gather alibis?"

"Well, this may not be relevant, but judging by the blood, I think we can assume it happened last night." She replied. "I was in my hotel room during the night and I discovered that the rooms are not entirely soundproof. I was by the bathroom when I heard faint footsteps walking by me, I slowly opened the door to peek outside and Setsuka was going to the elevator."

"Setsuka? What could she had been doing?"

"I have no idea, but I think we'll find out when it's right to ask her."

I nodded. "And what time was that?"

"9:00pm. It's not much, but I hope it helps you."

I smiled at her. "I have a feeling it will, thanks, Kokoro."

"Apologies for the long wait, but I have prepared your alternative route to the trial room. Please proceed to the hotel building, the doors on the left will lead you to the trail room elevator, go through the doors and take the elevator down to the trial room. I will be waiting for you down there, don't dawdle!"

Darn, wasn't able to get everyone's account in time, guess we'll have to talk about those when the trial starts.

"We'll have to get the rest of the alibis later." Kokoro said. "Let's go."

I nodded and we all left the warehouse to go to the hotel building, we went left to the doors and entered the familiar elevator room. There was no sign of Mikado or Yuki, so we took the elevator down to the trial room and the colour was changed once again, now it was in a purple colour. As we stood on our podiums, I noticed that Mikado's and Yuki's portraits had question marks on them, whilst the others were marked with crosses, well some of them were.

As the trial was set to begin, I had question marks over the unknown factors. Which one was killed, which one took control of the bipedal robot? And who was found dead under the rubble? Was it Yuki, or was it Mikado? The answer I had to find was not going to be easy, but we need to find it, otherwise...there is no way we'll survive.

Yep, sorry to borrow another idea from V3, but I really wanted to use that for this sequel.
