Okay, I'm posting this early because I think I might have missed a day of posting. So if I have, please PM me about it, and I will post a second chapter today to make up for that. All that said, part of this chapter is to remind people that we do have the other Persona 5 characters here, and the other part is the EPIC FOOD FIGHT! Only it's even more epic because there are double the fighters, and even more ridiculous food weapons, including something I thought up to approximate Ruby's Crescent Rose. Hope you all enjoy. Just a reminder in case I did forget to post yesterday, I am not sick, I just lost track of time. Disclaimer: I don't own RWBY, the Persona series, Five Nights at Freddy's, or Devil May Cry.

Volume 3-1: The Best Day Ever

Emerald and Mercury were walking through Vale. "You know," Mercury said, "I could understand Roman letting this thing slip, but Adam?" "Cut him some slack," Emerald replied, "It's not White Fang policy to kill off defectors, so he's never had to organize it before. This was supposed to be Cinder's idea. You know, to prevent this guy from talking?" 'Speaking of talking, the amount of silence between Mercury's lines has nearly tripled since I sent in that request. These Phantoms are good.' She made a show of pretending to bump into a nearby ladder propped against the newly reopened From Dust Till Dawn shop, doing so just as the shopkeeper was near the bottom of the ladder coming down.

As she helped him up, she said, "Sorry. I'm not really from around here. Can you direct me to this address?" She showed him a slip of paper. The shopkeeper nodded and helpfully pointed the way. As she walked off, someone else bumped into her. A cute barista with dark hair and glasses. "Sorry about that," he said, "I was just getting some shopping in for my cafe." "It's fine," Emerald said. As she walked off, she heard the barista talking with the shopkeeper. "You seem to have dropped your wallet in the fall. I managed to spot it." Emerald gasped and checked her pockets. She had managed to swipe the wallet earlier. 'How did he swipe it back...?'

"That's embarrassing," Mercury said, "A pickpocket getting pickpocketed. That on top of getting us lost?" "Okay, yeah, it hasn't been a good day for me," Emerald admitted. Mercury cocked an eyebrow. "Don't even start," Emerald said, "The only reason I'm indulging you is because you've been delightfully quiet as of late." Mercury sighed. "Yeah, I've had a lot on my mind. By the way, did you notice Neo is still hanging around? I would've thought she'd stick with Roman." "There's a question mark," Emerald noted, "Maybe she's not as loyal as we thought."

They soon reached Tukson's Book Trade, where Emerald the rang bell. "Coming!," came a young man's voice, confusing Emerald. "How old was Tukson supposed to be?" "Early forties," Mercury said. To their surprised, a young man with cat ears stepped out of the back behind the counter. "Welcome to Tukson's Book Trade, home to every book under the sun. Well, not really, but Old Man Tukson always said it was just a catchphrase." Emerald and Mercury looked at each before Emerald turned back to the young man. "Do you happened to stock... Third Crusade?"

The young man raised an eyebrow. "I was pretty sure Tukson had already vacated to Vacuo, and I don't remember him mentioning either of you." Mercury slammed the book he was reading shut, before shutting the store blinders. People outside got confused at the sounds of whirlwinds coming from inside the shop before Emerald and Mercury came crashing out the window. Luckily, not too many people were around, letting Emerald hide their faces. She chuckled nervously. "Sorry. Haggling over prices..." As she and Mercury walked away, he sighed. "Well that was a bust. And that kid's wind semblance left me with a wedgie. Hope he doesn't sic the police on us." Emerald nodded. "We'd better lay low for the time being."

Meanwhile at Beacon, Blake was absentmindedly writing in her journal. Yang leaned over. "What are you writing there?" Blake got caught off-guard. "Oh, just last semester's notes." In actuality, it was a love story between her and Jeremy, but Yang would never let her hear the end of it if she found out. As it was, Yang nonchalantly snagged a grape in her mouth that had been tossed by Nora. "Lame." Team JNPR was across from them, Jaune digging into a ridiculously overstuffed sandwich. Next to Team RWBY, minus Ruby, was Team FJGS, while Team PINE was next to Team JNPR. As Yang caught another grape, Ruby came in with a huge binder.

Weiss, raised an eyebrow when she recognized the cover, which read, "Vytal Festival Activities, Property of Weiss Schnee." Ruby had apparently crossed this out in red and written, "Best Day Ever Activities!" Ruby cleared her throat. "Sisters! Brothers! Friends! Four score and seven minutes ago, I had a dream." "This ought to be good," Yang quipped before catching another grape. Ruby continued. "A dream that one day, the four of us would come together as a team, and have the most fun anyone has ever had... Ever!" "Ruby," Weiss said, "Did you steal my binder?" Ruby held her hands out in peace signs. "I am not a crook."

"Translation," Gabriel said, "'No, I just borrowed it for the day, Weiss. Why didn't you find the note I left you?'" He held out a note. "Answer, because I found it first." "Oh," Weiss said, "So what's the plan then?" "Easy," Ruby replied, "We're going to kick this semester off with a bang!" "I always like to kick my semesters off with a Yang," Yang quipped. She then got surprised as an apple hit her in the face, bouncing off her Aura. "Boo," Nora said, sounding disappointed. "Ruby does have a point," Blake said, "It's been two weeks since the incident at the docks, and more exchange students are arriving. Plus we have the tournament at the end of the year."

"Exactly," Ruby pointed out, "This new semester is going to be great, but classes start tomorrow. Which is why I've taken the time to schedule some wonderful events us." Meanwhile, Yang had thrown the apple right back, hitting Ren. Not seeing this, Weiss gave a nod. "Agreed. This should be the perfect chance for us to unite as a team." She stood up and started to speak more, only to catch a cream pie in the face. Gabriel growled and slammed the table. "Who decided to pie my fiancee!?" Nora quickly pointed to Ren, who had his hands over his eyes, Pyrrha's over her mouth, and Jaune's over one of his ears.

Just outside, Sun was talking with one of his teammates, Neptune Vasilias. He was a young man with blue spiky hair and wearing aviator goggles. He also had a red aviator jacket over a white dress shirt and black tie, gray jeans, and black shoes with Velcro straps. "So it was absolute chaos," Sun said, "Phantom Thieves were everywhere, I saw Susie's brother take down the White Fang leader, she and I were kicking butt, literally in her case, and I threw a banana at a guy, which sounds gross but it as awesome!" "Nice," Neptune said, "You always said you wanted a cute Faunus girl to date. But there wasn't there another Faunus girl there as well?"

"Yeah," Sun admitted, "But Susie stood out more. I dunno, maybe if Blake had been the only Faunus girl there... Too late now though. Even if I hadn't settled on Susie, Blake seems to have hooked up with Susie's brother Jeremy. Anyway, I'm really excited for you to meet these guys. So be cool, okay? You gonna be cool?" "Dude," Neptune said, crossing his arms and smiling. "Good point," Sun admitted. They hurried inside, only to hear someone call out, "FOOD FIGHT!" Most of the students were running out, all except for Teams RWBY, JNPR, FJGS, and PINE.

JNPR and PINE were on one end of the cafeteria, surrounded by stacked tables and vending machines, Nora laughing like an evil overlord. "I'm queen of the castle~! I'm queen of the castle~!" Meanwhile, Teams RWBY and FJGS were standing at the other end, Ruby planting her foot on a nearby table while holding a carton of milk. "Justice will be swift! Justice will be painful!" She crushed the carton, squirting milk everywhere. "It will be... DELICIOUS!" RWBY and FJGS cheered in unison. Nora leapt down near some watermelons, which several of her teammates started throwing.

Yang quickly ran up and shoved her hands into two cooked turkeys, smashing through the watermelons, Susie shoving her legs into two more while Blake grabbed a baguette. Jaune grabbed a baguette and barbecue skewer while Pyrrha also picked up a baguette, as well as a serving tray. She and Blake started dueling as Jaune parried an attack from Gabriel and Fritz. Fritz was launching soda cans from Davy Jones instead of the normal Dust cannonballs while Gabriel had grabbed a stromboli to attack with, smacking Jaune in the face. Ruby came in using a serving tray and carrying a rack of ribs stuck on a metal pole, knocking Pyrrha aside as Nora and Ren rushed to her aid.

However, they got tripped up when Weiss splattered the floor with ketchup. Nora quickly grabbed a nearby iron pipe and shoved it into a watermelon. Thinking quickly, Jeremy leapt up and grabbed his own pipe, shoving it into a nearby pie. Before he could reach Nora, he got stopped by Ebony wielding a celery stick and blasting him with a pepper shaker, causing him to sneeze. Susie moved in to help, only to get blocked as Imp stabbed a couple butter knives into twin croissants to parry Susie's kicks. Meanwhile Weiss was dueling Penny using a swordfish while Penny had a dozen carrots swung around on spaghetti.

Penny eventually managed to knock Weiss into a nearby pillar, where Ruby caught her. "Weiss, Weiss... Don't leave me... NO!" It was all very dramatic, but in reality Weiss was fine, albeit trying not to crack up from the melodrama. Yang was now clashing with Ren, who was using a pair of leeks like daggers. Things were getting crazy as Nora slammed Yang near the ceiling, Fritz managing to grab her before coming after Nora with a calzone on a stick, Blake aiding him using a string of sausages. Nora got knocked into the vending machine, but grabbed a coupe soda cans and started tossing them like grenades.

Finally, Ruby and Susie nodded at each other. Ruby dashed off at full speed as Susie kicked up a massive whirlwind, sending both food and Teams JNPR and PINE flying into the nearby wall. As Jaune noticed the incoming onslaught, he gulped. "This is gonna hurt..." Both were splattered by foodstuff before falling to the ground, leaving an imprint on the wall behind them. After seeing the melee, Sun smiled. "I love these guys." Neptune was less enthused, having been covered in grape soda. That's when Glynda stormed into the cafeteria, using her Semblance to put everything back in order. "Children," she said, her voice calm in spite of her obvious anger, "Do not play with your food."

Ruby smiled sheepishly. "Sorry Miss Goodwitch. But you see, Yang had accidentally hit Ren with an apple when she was aiming for Nora, then Nora hit Weiss with a pie when she was aiming for Yang, then Gabe got mad and everything was chaos after that." "I noticed," Glynda said, calming down a little, "I realize you're still young yet, but there are better ways to hold onto your childhood. While it can still be held onto..." Ruby nodded. She knew full well that things were going to get crazy soon, so they had to cherish these moments while they could.

Empress (Glynda Goodwitch) Rank 4: After cleaning up after the gang's food fight, she reminds them that they only have so long to goof around.

Later that evening, Mercury and Emerald walked back to the warehouse. "So how did it go?," Cinder asked. "Terrible," Emerald admitted, "Tukson's already vacated. Left the store to someone new. I think I overheard his name as Morgan Amamiya. Tukson's already left for Vacuo." Cinder sighed. "We won't be going there for a while..." "To make matters worse," Mercury chimed in, "We both got our butts kicked." "And I got pickpocketed," Emerald said, "After I pickpocketed someone else." Cinder narrowed her eyes. "The Phantom Thieves... They're in the city, and might be onto us. We'll need to use caution moving forward."

So what did you guys think? Hope I started this Volume properly. And I hope all of you are safe and healthy out there. Read and review.
