Hours Later

By the time Angela woke up from her nap it was dark outside.

Seeing her daughter stir awake sent Brooke rushing to be next to her. Quickly turning on one of the two lamps.

"How are you feeling.?" Brooke asked. Sitting beside her daughter.

Angela sat up and avoided her mother's gaze.

"You know everything. What happened between Austin and i.?" The teenager asked.

"I do. Along with you're dad and Tristan. Don't be angry with you're brother he was worried and concerned. And needed to find a way to help which sometimes involves letting other people in." Brooke replied.

"I was so stupid to believe he actually would just this go and move on. He's the one who told the camera people where to be. He used to me to gain the popularity and fame he was craving. He didn't expect me to break up with him. You and dad were right. It would of been a mistake. Having my first time with him. I'm too young to be getting serious about dad had the right idea. About not dating until after i graduate high school. My focus should be on figuring out myself and what i want out of life. Spending quality time with my brothers. Along with you and dad. Make some friends." Angela admitted.

Brooke leaned over engulfing her girl in a hug.

Angela hugged her back.

"You're father will be thrilled to hear about this new dating decision. But honesty honey we just want you happy, enjoying you're life, and being mindful of the situations you put yourself in. We can't put you all in a bubble to protect you from the world. That's one of the first things being a parent shows you. You aren't in control. You're children are their own people. You're only job is to love them unconditionally, guide them when it's needed, and be there for them whether they outwardly reach out to you or not." Brooke replied.

Hearing knocking at the front door come. Angela turned her head.

"Come in!" Angela exclaimed.

"Dad's downstairs. We bought dinner. We didn't think anyone was in the mood to cook with everything going on." Asher said.

"I'll let you two have some time alone. Come down when you're ready." Brooke said. As she got off the bed.

"Thanks the talk and listening." Angela said.

"Anytime." Brooke replied. Turning from them as she left the bedroom closing the door behind herself.

"So where did you, dad, and Tris go.? I heard the car pull into the driveway." Angela asked.

"Just a late night drive around the neighborhood. Nothing exciting." Asher replied

Angela narrowed her gaze at her twin.

"We may have passed by Austin's house and the bookstore his family runs. No one did anything to him. Even though the want to was strong we pushed passed it and got dinner then brought it back on to eat." Asher said.

"Good. He isn't worth going after. You're not giving mom and dad enough credit. You should tell them the truth about who you really are. I think you're letting fear and other people's bad experience dictate you're own. And that isn't fair to anyone."

"I've always known. You're not just my twin. You're my best friend. It's time that take back control of our lives and go after who and what we want. Who cares what other people think or say. We've given other people to much freedom to tell us who we're supposed to be." Angela said.

"You're right. I'll be right back." Asher said.

...

"Everything looks delicious." Brooke said.

"We're just waiting on the kids to join us." Lucas said.

At the sight of Asher coming down the stairs.

Brooke smiled. "What can we do for you Ash.?" She asked.

"Listen i need to tell you both something. About myself. A truth that i've known for a long time but only now realize that part of me isn't going away. I have to be honest." Asher said.

"We already know and it doesn't matter to us. We love you. And will continue to protect you and be amazed at the person you are." Lucas said.

"There are various times during you're life that i wanted to reassure you that there was nothing to hide or be ashamed of. You are 2nd love of my life. Along with Ash and Tris. Me being able to be you're mom and see the incredible young man you are becoming is a gift. I'll never be deserving of." Brooke replied.

Asher simply hugged them both.
