Wade was summoned to Priscilla's office; his heart raced, wondered if Priscilla discovered he had threatened the doctor. He was betting on they still needed him, but his time was running out. His plan was formed, he needed the opportunity. Extra men in white shirts with blazers, wearing jeans and boots, guarded the front door, the hallways, and the office door.
An important guest was visiting the ranch. Why? The tension was building; the mood was changing, as his spine tingled, did Priscilla figured out what he was planning? He studied the guards. No. Something else was happening, he walked slowly to the office, and as the door opened, Coop stood, tapping his foot.
"Ms. Priscilla is waiting, and we have a guest," Coop said.
"I'm coming," he said, and walked slowly, as Coop glared.
Wade entered the office, Priscilla sat on the edge of the desk with her legs crossed, the tight blue dress revealed her slender body and flipped her hair. The guest was sitting in the chair.
Priscilla looked up, smiling. "Wade, come meet our third member in our adventure," she said, motioning. She held out her arm towards him. "This is Wade."
The guest stood, turning, the man was older with thinning white hair, stood like a man with influence and power, dressed in a plain suit. "You are the man let Ms. White escaped." He chuckled. The gentleman was an ordinary man with a serious attitude, he mocked Wade, as the others laughed too.
Priscilla moved closer, putting her hand on the man's shoulder. "He believes White is dead," she hissed.
"She has a habit of making people believe that she is dead." The man looked at Priscilla. "I wondered where Ms. White learned that from?"
She scowled, removing her hand from his shoulder. "Why are you bringing up the past?" she snapped.
Wade studied Priscilla, the new member had knowledge of both Ms. White and his boss.
"I'm Patel, and nice to finally meet you," he said, extending his arm, shaking Wade's hand, continuing, "I have heard interesting things about you."
"Nice to meet you, sir."
"You are a clever one, Wade, and how did you know I am a general?"
"Your manner, you've a command presence like a powerful General."
"I see." Patel rubbed his chin, as he observed Wade. "Interesting. Why didn't you do your homework on Ms. White?"
"I did, but part of her profile was frankly unbelievable," he stated.
"True. I felt the same way when I was first introduced to her until I witnessed her abilities for myself. I am betting you are a fast learner."
"I am."
"Good, because I have an assignment for you will bring wealth like you haven't dreamed off."
"Okay. What type of assignment, sir?" He lifted his left eyebrow.
"A dangerous one, but a rewarding," Patel said.
"I'm listening, and I'm also curious why Coop isn't getting it?"
Priscilla sat back on the desk, staring at Wade. "Coop has a different assignment, something he and his men are designed for."
Wade looked at Coop, who smiled at him.
"Wade, how would you like to bring down FLAG?" Patel asked, observing him.
"How? The Foundation have safeguards in place from preventing their destruction."
Patel chuckled, looking at Priscilla. "He does his homework, I wondered if Coop does?"
She leaned back and grinned. "Don't worry about Coop, he knows his assignment."
"Good." Patel turned to Wade, said, "now, would you like to hear your assignment?"
Wade nodded, Patel explained the new assignment.
