"So you're the last one." Blue Girl said.
"Since you deleted everyone else…. I guess so." Violet replied.
"I don't know what more I can say, Miyu…. you don't remember me…. how can I get you back?"
"Fact that you don't even remain in my memory even after the car crash shows how little you meant to me."
"That's not true! We were best friends…. we still are!" Blue Girl hit back.
"Clearly the Miyu of old would be better to answer but she's not here anymore."
"We have no choice." Aqua said.
"Our Ignis is right!" Violet smirked. "And like all responsible people… I know when enough is enough. And the era of the Ignis is up!"
Blue Girl looked out and in the distance saw nothing but pure white. The anti data had been stopped for now due to the other team stopping the Hanoi boat but she knew Kogami was working with Revolver to get it started again using the Earth Ignis that they had captured.
"We need to end this duel before we're both wiped out." Blue Girl said.
"Yes, whoever loses is deleted but if we can gain control of LINK VRAINS, we can bring everyone back." Aqua said.
"And Hanoi will face justice…. even if that means you, Miyu."
"Let's just see!" Violet replied.
Playmaker
Playmaker had finished his duel with Trojan as Ghost Girl walked over.
"Where's Blue Girl?" Playmaker said as he looked around.
"Did she win?"
That second Blue Girl and Violet before them on the main road. Violet had wanted the others to see their duel.
"Thank goodness you made it, Aqua!" Ai cheered.
"Yes but now my other half has appeared." Aqua stated.
"So you recovered from your duel against Queen…." Playmaker said.
"Yes, I nearly got deleted… but Revolver saved me again…. I'll make sure he won't be disturbed. Now let's get this started!"
"I have no choice." Blue Girl said with regret as her blue duel disk activated while Violets's duel disk band lit up in yellow.
"We should find Revolver." Playmaker said to Ghost Girl.
"Yes. Blue Girl, can you handle this?"
"Of course." she replied as Violet looked irritated.
"So I brought you back to your friends and they don't even want to watch…."
"You are trying to wipe out LINK VRAINS…. we can't let that happen!" Ghost Girl yelled.
"You won't stop Revolver, but fine… run away. There's not much of LINK VRAINS left to explore!"
Both Ghost Girl and Playmaker nodded to Blue Girl as they turned around to find Revolver, Blue Girl and Violet looked at each other dead on.
Turn 1

"I'll begin! I summon Aster Paladin!" A female in lilac armour appeared.
Aster Paladin ATK: 1800 DEF: 800 Light/Cyberse/LVL 4
"Her effect allows me to reduce her attack by 500 to draw again!" Blue Girl drew the card.
Aster ATK: 1300
"If I control a Light Cyberse Monster then I can summon this from my hand! Orchid Striker!" A female with a crystal purple armour with a white cape.
Orchid Striker ATK: 1200 DEF: 300 Light/Cyberse/LVL 3
"I use them to Link Summon! Emerge LINK-2, Double Flower Knight!" A green female with a pink sword with green handle emerged with a rose shield. She was summoned in Blue Girl's left Extra Monster Zone.
Double Flower Knight ATK: 1900 Wind/Cyberse/LINK-2/Left, Down
"I set a card face down and end there."
"Double Flower Knight can't be destroyed once when summoned… is that the best you can do?" Violet replied.
"I know my own deck, Miyu. Just focus on your own."
"I thought we were friends? Don't friends talk?!"
"My old friend Miyu isn't here…. you're not here."
"So you've given up trying to get through to me? About time." Violet smirked.
"I won't ever give up. We were best friends… I owe that to you!"
Turn 2

"You can keep trying but nothing will bring her back! I draw! I use the Continuous Spell Mariner Mirror!"
Behind Violet appeared a giant yellow mirror which reflected the duel field.
"Next I summon Mariner Nereus!"A figure in orange amour emerged. He held a small trident and appeared with robotic joints.
Mariner Nereus ATK: 1500 DEF: 1000 Water/Sea Serpent/LVL 4 "When summoned I add a Mariner Monster Card to my hand. I add Palaemon. When I use a Mariner's effect, once per turn, I can summon another from my hand thanks to Mariner Mirror! However I'm prevented from summoning only Link Monsters after this for this turn. I summon Mariner Phorcys!" Mariner Phorcys ATK: 1000 DEF: 300 Water/Sea Serpent/LVL 3"I play my Field Spell! Poseidon's Sea! I add a Mariner to my hand when it's activated! I add the Spell Mariner Fishing and now I use my Field's second effect! I can move a Mariner Monster to another zone!"
Phorcys faded from the far left to centre zone.
"When it moves, I can add another Spell or Trap. I add the Continuous Trap, Mariner Anchor! I set Mariner Nereus and Phorcys in my circuit! I Link Summon LINK-2, Hecatoncheires the Mariner Titan!"Appearing from a whirlpool which formed was a blue demon with one eye. However he was much larger than that as he had hundreds of arms and faces coming out from across his body.

"I attack Double Flower! And if I moved a Monster this turn it gains 500 attack!"
Hecatoncheires ATK: 2500
"But Double Flower can't be destroyed once!" Blue Girl hit back as Hectaoncheires' numerous faces fired out a blue blast from their eyes, striking the Cyberse Monster and causing Blue Girl to take damage.
Blue Girl LP: 4000 - 3400
"I use Cyberse Beacon! When I take damage I add a level four or lower Cyberse Monster to my hand. I add my trusty Larkspur Knight!"
"Fine. I set a card and I end my turn."
Hecatoncheires ATK: 2000
Playmaker/Ghost Girl
"Without the data winds we're not going to find them quickly….." Ghost Girl noted as the two ran down the street.
At that second Ghost Girl received a message from her duel disk. She opened it up to show Blood Shepherd.
"Did you do it?" Ghost Girl asked.
"We eliminated the three Hanoi generals." Blood replied.
"Great!" Ai cheered in the background. "Even Jin?"
"Yes. He was also able to win. We now have control of the boat."
"The anti data has ceased in LINK VRAINS but we know Revolver is trying to restart it off somewhere else. Can you scan the area for us?" Playmaker said.
"Your friend Kusanagi has already been doing that and we got a result. LINK VRAINS is much smaller so it was quicker. They're located not on a rooftop not too far away from you."
A map appeared on Ghost Girl's screen and showed the position.
"Okay now we've got a bit of time… we need a way out of here it we can't save LINK VRAINS." Ghost Girl said.
"We're already working on a way to evacuate you all…. well, the humans."
"We're not going anywhere until the Ignis are safe." Playmaker said.
"I can't save the Ignis... if the anti data continues; they will find the hidden Ignis server. The best choice is to stop the Hanoi." Blood replied.
"We're on it." Ghost Girl replied.
Duel
Turn 3
Blue Girl LP: 3600 Hand: 4
Violet LP: 4000 Hand: 4
"I draw! I summon my Larkspur!" A purple knight emerged with a green sword. The sword had ivy wrapped around it.
Larkspur Knight ATK: 1900 DEF: 0 Light/Cyberse/LVL 4
"I use its effect! I can draw two cards!" Blue Girl drew two from her deck. "Next I send one to my graveyard. I'm sending Fern Strike Knight.Next I banish Fern Strike! Once per turn I can summon a second one from my deck and hit you with 600 damage!"
Blue Girl removed the card from play and a black knight with weeds around its sword in defence appeared. It fired a black blast from its sword into Violet.

"I should've seen that coming…. you used the same move against Spectre!"
"Effect damage used to be my thing…. before I retired. The Hanoi forced me back into the LINK VRAINS and I have to say…. I kind of appreciate it."
"You retired?" Violet questioned.
"I had a former life as an idol duelist. Blue Angel…. I was sad and lonely so gave it up… I was also filled with revenge so I became a weapon instead…. but now I've learnt I'm fighting for something else, Miyu…. I guess you're the same…. why do you want to destroy the Ignis?"
"Because of SOL." she replied.
"An understandable desire." Aqua said.
"Don't think you can even pretend to know what I feel!"
"But I do. I was co-created from you."
"Sadly she doesn't get it, Aqua…. let's continue." Blue Girl said.
"She most likely has Mariner Anchor as her face down which can stop the Monster from being destroyed." Aqua stated.
"Yeah, so I'll do this! I set Double Flower and Fern Strike! Appear LINK-3, Gallax - The Protector!" The Monster was a knight with aquatic symbols shaped like a raindrop around it. He had long blue hair in a ponytail and carried a shield and sword.
Gallax – The Protector ATK: 2300 Water/Cyberse/LINK-3/Bottom Left, Bottom, Bottom Right
"Gallax is unaffected by your Monster's effects and so is any Monster who is linked to it! I use my Continuous Spell by sending a card from my hand. I send Moss Fighter and now I can useCyberse Conversion! I can Normal Summon a Cyberse once per turn for a second time! Appear Alchemilla Dancer!"
Dancer was summoned to the bottom left linked zone. It was a green maiden with a long green dress.

"I set Alchemilla and Larkspur! I Link Summon LINK-2, Ivy Blade!" A ninja with sharp blades as weapons emerged; his outfit had ivy around it. It appeared underneath Gallax's bottom link.

"I use Ivy Blade's effect! When co-linked, the Monster it's co-linked to gains Ivy's attack!"
Gallax ATK: 3600
"In exchange Ivy gains halve of Gallax's orinigal attack thanks to Gallax's effect!"
Ivy ATK: 2450
"I attack with Gallax!" Gallax charged forward with his sword in hand.
"I use my Continuous Trap Mariner Anchor! It stops Hecatoncheires from being destroyed!"
"But you still take that damage!"
Violet LP: 3600 – 1600
"Ivy Blade!" Blue Girl yelled as Violet's Monster was struck again.
Violet LP: 1600 – 1150
"I set one card and end my turn!"
"Good, we got her lifepoints down." Aqua said.
"Are you really comfortable to delete me?!" Violet gloated.
"You put me in this situation, Miyu!"
"You think of me as your friend… yet you're happy to continue?"
"I will win this duel…. and I will save LINK VRAINS which will bring you back. Then maybe we can have a proper talk!" Blue Girl hit back.
"Even if you can stop the Hanoi… I'll never be the person you knew I was!"
Turn 4

"Draw! I summon Mariner Palaemon!"
Mariner Palaemon ATK: 400 DEF: 300 Water/Sea Serpent/LVL 2"I move Palaemon thanks to my Field Spell!" Palaemon moved to the far right. "If this card moves zones I summon a Mariner from my graveyard with its effects negated! Return Nereus!"
Mariner Nereus ATK: 1500 DEF: 1000 Water/Sea Serpent/LVL 4"I play my Spell Mariner Fishing! When a Mariner moves I can summon a copy from my deck! Appear a second Palemon!"
Mariner Palaemon ATK: 400 DEF: 300 Water/Sea Serpent/LVL 2"Here we go…." Blue Girl said.
"I set Hecatoncheires and Palemon! Appear LINK-3! Poseidon King of the Mariners!"Water shot up from the floor and a muscled man with a white beard emerged. He appeared on top of a green serpent while holding a robotic trident.

"Another LINK-3?!"
"Emerge Medusa the Mariner Gorgon!" A female with robotic green wiring for hair appeared. She was in a green ancient Greece dress.

"Poseidon gains 300 attack for pointing to Medusa!"
Poseidon ATK: 3100
"Your Monsters can't be affected by card effects so I'll need to do this! If Medusa points to a Link Monster I can target a Monster on the field and reduce their attack and negate their effects! Then Medusa gains their attack until the end of the turn!"
"The only other target is her… Poseidon?"Aqua questioned.
"You got it! Go Medusa!" Medusa's eyes lit up and slowly Poseidon turned to stone.

"I now attack your Gallax!" Medusa fired another blast from her eyes and turned the knight into stone before it crumbled away.

"My Quick Play Spell can now be used! Link Release! I can Link Summon during my Battle Phase! I set Poseidon and Medusa! I Link Summon LINK-4, Skolopendra Legendary Beast of the Mariner Sea!"
Forming from tidal waves flying from the sky was a large fish. It was green with spider legs with a long winding tail with multiple eyes.

"Now the Monster it summoned can attack directly at the cost of Skolopendra not attacking! Poseidon, attack!"
Poseidon raised his trident and slammed it onto the ground which caused a crack in the floor to shoot towards Blue Girl. As the crack opened up, a rush of water fired out.
"I use my Trap! Cybernetic Gravity! When my opponent attacks or summons a Monster I can choose one of my Special Summoned Cyberse Monsters and reduce your Monster's attack by that amount! I choose Ivy Blade!"
Poseidon ATK: 1800
"Hold on, Aqua!" Blue Girl yelled as the water sent the two girls flying across the road.
Blue Girl LP: 2400 – 600
"I set one card face down…. were you always this annoying?!"
"If you remembered me…. you would find we both annoyed each other… that's what friends do! Along with everything else! It's a great thing having a friend! And you were mine!"
"Make your move!"
Turn 5
Blue Girl LP: 600 Hand: 2
Violet LP: 1150 Hand: 1
"I will! I draw! I banish Fern Strike Knight from my graveyard to summon a third and hit you with 600 damage!"
Again a third and final Fern Stike Knight appeared and as he swung his blade the energy created hit Violet.

"I summon Daffodil Gardna!" A female in a white dress holding a giant shield with the flower of her name on it emerged.

"I set LINK-2 Ivy Blade along with Fern and Daffodil to Link Summon!"
"You're bringing out a LINK-4 as well?! I won't let you! I play the Continuous Trap Link Shield! My opponent cannot Link Summon a Monster with the same Link Rating as ones on my field this turn!"
Blue Girl gritted her teeth in annoyance.
"I saw your duel against Spectre and you had a pretty handy LINK-4 and a LINK-3… it won't happen again!"
"Fine… but we still go on! I set Daffodil and Fern Strike! I Link Summon LINK-2, Eva - The Magical Knight!" A white knight with green vines going down her back appeared. Her shield sparkled.
Eva- The Magical Knight ATK: 2000 Light/Cyberse/LINK-2/Bottom Left, Bottom Right
"I attack with Eva and when she attacks she doubles her attack!"
Eva ATK: 4000
"Skolopendra has one more effect! You can only attack it and I take no damage when it's destroyed!" Eva slashed Skolopendra in halve causing it to explode.
Eva ATK: 2000
"I thought you had something up your sleeve still…. Please, Miyu… let's stop this duel."
"You know we can't. And inside of LINK VRAINS I am Violet Dagger!"
"You can't say you didn't try, Aoi." Aqua said.
"Now end your turn!"
"I won't as I have one more card to play! When I destroy a Monster I play my Link Release!"
"You had the same card?!"
"Yes and now I Link Summon using Eva and Ivy Blade! I can now Link Summon a LINK-4! Appear Hairi- The Graceful Archer!" Flying in from the circuit was a long blond-haired female in a green outfit with wings. She held a golden arrow.
Hairi- The Graceful Archer ATK: 2800 Wind/Cyberse/LINK-4/Bottom Left, Bottom Right, Bottom, Right"For each Link Material I can destroy a card and Hairi gains 500 attack. I destroy your Poseidon and Trap!"
Hairi fired her golden arrow and the golden dust which fell from the sky dissolved Violet's two Monsters.
Hairi ATK: 3800
"Can you do it? Can you finish me off?!"
"I won't finish you off as I will bring you back when LINK VRAINS is saved! Hairi, direct attack!"
Hairi fired another arrow and this time directly into Violet which sent her flying into the sky.
Violet LP: 550 – 0 Blue Girl Wins
Violet looked up and saw her hands beginning to fade away, Blue Girl came running over.
"I was saved once by Ryoken but…. now I must pay my debt…."
"I caused this…." Blue Girl said as she saw Violet fade away into data.
Revolver
Revolver looked at the holoscreen and saw Violet turn into data.
"Ryoken, we must continue." Kogami said as he was working on a device with a satellite, attached with the Earth Ignis being used as power in the centre.
"She's…. gone…."
"She knew the risks. They all knew the risks." Kogami replied.
"If this works…. you'll also die…. I'll be alone…"
"We have to stop the Ignis, Ryoken…. that's the sins I must pay along with Baira, Faust and Genome… Trojan was a firm believer in our cause but Violet..."
"She was only really here for me…. I will win for her….! For all of them! Activate it!" Revolver yelled as the satellite begun to drain the Earth Ignis of its power and started to fire out more anti data into the sky.
