"Relax commander, I'm here, the best tdoll pilot in the world!" She said with a smirk and a proud face "And the most humble" he said as both laughed.
"Oh by the way Intruder's pretty nice, didn't expect a ringleader to be like this"
"I don't trust her for nothing, she's a good girl, a girl who was in the wrong place at the wrong time..."
"Did all the sangvis Ferri tdolls get infected with the virus?"
"Yeah... Looks like Every single one of them turned AWOL"
"Don't worry commander we'll bring them back one by one" she said with a comforting smile "That's the plan"
And so the flight continued in silence as yulil started daydreaming.
As the helicopters entered the arctic area they noticed that a fog was building up rather quickly, until visibility dropped to zero "This is not good" yulil said as he checked his radio "not working..." He added "The radar is down too... You know what this means right? A fog won't kill our radio nor our radar"
"Keep your eyes peeled... This pretty much confirm the sangvis Ferri activity around here"
The visibility got so worse that they couldn't even see the other helicopters anymore Yulil brought his kit from behind the Helicopter and wore it, and also wore a thick white camouflaged jacket that he found stored in the back and went back to his seat where he attached his seatbelt Suddenly the duo heard a loud boom.
"Thunder?" Izuna said curiously as she looked at yulil waiting desperately for a confirmation "No...that distinct sound...That sounds like...Descend the helicopter...Get it down now!" Yulil yelled Izuna quickly got the helicopter to descended as something incredibly fast passed by their heads.
"Holy hell, what was that?!" Izuna said, Incapable of seeing anything through the dense fog Suddenly they heard the same sound, but this time it didn't just go off once "Try your best to keep it steady izuna!" All of a sudden one of the fast moving projectiles hit the tail of the helicopter as it exploded, sending the helicopter into an uncontrollable spin, both of their hearts dropped as izuna looked at him and yelled.
"Hold on to anything you can! Brace yourself for impact!"
"You don't say?!" Yulil said as the helicopter crashed into the snow.
Yulil tried his best to cover his head and neck but alas he received a nasty blow as his head hit the structure of the helicopter...
As everything quieted down yulil brought down his hands and released his seatbelt, he touched his head and noticed blood "Gotta be kidding me..." He softly muttered He turned around and found izuna unconscious, her head resting on the control board, he quickly checked her and sighed as she was still alive.
He grunted and got up then disembarked, he noticed that the helicopter was fortunately not on fire, well the snow must have cushioned the crash, and this isn't just any helicopter... Ah well but this isn't the time to thank the engineering behind it he thought as he grabbed a large backpack and shoved as much rations and ammunition as he could in it, he also checked his kit and radio, still not working unfortunately.
After that he went back inside as he noticed izuna was still unconscious.
He sighed and looked for her emergency weapon, he found on her left side a SIG Rattler chambered in 300. Blackout
"Nice taste" he said as he loaded the weapon and slinged it on her shoulders "Nice taste" he said as he loaded the weapon and slinged it on her shoulders.
After that he started thinking of his next move... They were stranded behind enemy lines, the fog was too dense, as such they couldn't just move, they might fall into an enemy patrol, but if they don't move the enemy could just come to them... He scratched his head thinking what the hell he should do now.
He decided with staying here, if yulil can't see where he's going, then the enemy sure as hell can't either...
Suddenly after 10 minutes the fog started slowly but surely dissipating, he sighed and had a smile on his face...
He grabbed his tablet and tried to see the satellite images of this area.
He noticed that they were in the middle of nowhere, however he also noticed a bunker a little bit north of their position, it was way better than just waiting here he thought, he also noticed that izuna wasn't really wearing anything to protect her from the cold if they exit the helicopter, apart from her slim pilot jacket.
He looked around for another jacktet but alas found nothing... He sighed and made her wear the arctic jacktet he was wearing and picked her up on his shoulders... Next destination the old abandoned bunker.
"I'm really not getting paid enough for this bullshit" he angrily said to himself as he tried his best to climb a snowy hill with the weight of his kit, the backpack and izuna inconveniencing him, without talking about the freezing cold he felt.
He regularly checked his radio but it still wouldn't work, and also checked his surrounding from time to time.
Yulil and the unconscious izuna finally arrived at the old bunker, he grabbed his pistol and slowly opened the old noisy metallic door, it led down to a bunch of creepy, dark, claustrophobic stairs, he gulped and thought maybe demons were only misunderstood and are a bunch of nice people.
He slowly descended the stairs, step by step as he grabbed a flashlight from the backpack and tried his best to look around with it.
Yulil descended the few stairs and reached an intersection, there were two paths, one to the left and one to the right, he thought about it logically.
The right path would lead them towards where they crashed, and so he chose to pick the left path.
He slowly walked around the long fearsome hallway, shinning his flashlight to look around, he also noticed a bunch of electric lines running across the walls of the tunnel, hopefully they led to a room he said as he kept walking.
He finally stopped in front of a metallic door, fortunately unlocked, he slowly opened it and got inside.
He stepped into a cramped room, with two old looking bed, and a bunch of antique looking canned food, he slowly layed down izuna on the first bed and turned the light switch, the light bulb on top of him lit up, enlightening the room and as such he powered off the flashlight and hid it in the backpack, after that he looked a the other bed and noticed that it was all torn up, and so he sat on the ground with his back on the wall and grabbed his radio, regularly testing the signal.
Suddenly izuna snapped up as she held her head, yulil smiled and looked at her.
"Ohhhh Mai gawd, my head hurts so much..." she said, holding her head.
"Well I'm sure you already know but... you were inside a helicopter that literally just crashed, so a headache is the least of your worries" he said with a chuckle "Bad time to not wear my helmet I guess, heh"
Izuna finally let go of her head as she looked around, she noticed yulil with his arms around his body trying to heat himself.
"Uhm, why aren't you wearing a jacket like I am?"
"I only found one so be thankful" he said as she bursted laughing and removed her jacket "That's so cute... But you do know that we can internally heat ourselves and don't really need to wear thick clothes right?" She said as yulil slowly facepalmed himself "I do forget that you're tdolls sometimes..." He said as izuna threw the jacket at him, covering his face.
"Of course you do, you are yulil after all" she said as he removed the jacket from his face and saw her cute smile "Yeah yeah, sometimes I regret being myself" he said as he wore the jacktet and exhaled at the warmth he felt.
"Well what do we do now commander?"
"Honestly, we're in a terrible position... But I'm still alive so all is well... We should wait here for a bit and then relocate, and also see if the radio work again"
"Sounds good to me boss"
After that, silence infested the room as yulil was tapping with his index finger on his shotgun and izuna kept looking at the ground.
"Hey uhm..." She said, clearly looking uneasy "Yeah?"
"I'm a pretty bad shot so... Just throwing it out there for you to know in case we get in a firefight"
"Hahah, where's your usual self-confidence?"
"Ah let's be real... I'm pretty useless aren't I? I couldn't even evade that projectile and got you in this situation" she said as she kept her gaze towards the ground, her expression growing more and more depressing "Oh please izuna, no one could have seen that shot coming, the fog was far too dense for anyone to react to that shot... you're a fantastic pilot, did you forget who saved us back when we rescued Springfield? The same person person who literally flyed a helicopter between buildings and skyscrapers?"
"Heh... Even so... I won't even be able to help you if we get in contact with the enemy"
"And so what? I also can't help you fly a helicopter... Look, everyone got their job to do, a job that the others can't do, got it?"
She only smiled and kept looking at the ground "And besides, I'll keep you protected izuna" he said with a smile.
Izuna suddenly got up and started walking towards him, as she reached him she sat down next to him, with their backs on the wall, so close to him that their shoulders touched.
"Hey, ever heard of personal space?" Yulil said "Let me enjoy this a bit... I rarely get an opportunity" she said as she rested her head on his shoulder, he sighed and spoke up "Fine, if that'll get your spirits up"
Izuna just laughed and after some time passed she poked his side, attracting his attention and spoke up "You think we'll survive?" "Obviously, I'm still breathing so yes we'll survive"
"Promise?"she said as she looked up towards him, she almost looked like a little girl waiting to be comforted "Promise... You're surprisingly pretty fragile and girly aren-OW" he was saying as she pinched his side.
"I was joking, jeez" he said as both laughed.
And so their little moment continued as they picked two MRE rations and ate them, after that izuna got up and gave yulil a hand.
"Alright! I recharged my batteries let's roll out!" she said with a happy expression "That's the izuna I know" he said and grabbed her hand to get up, and as he was trying to pick up the backpack she slapped his hand.
"At least let me help you with that"
"Heh, Trying to prove yourself?" "Maybe~" she said with a wink And so izuna grabbed the backpack and her weapon, and followed yulil's lead.
They went by the hallway they came through and climbed back the stairs.
"Let's try moving over that hill, we moved north, now we should move west" he said as izuna only nodded and kept her smile.
The duo moved around as yulil checked for enemies in front of them and izuna kept a look on their six.
Yulil and izuna started climbing up a hill and were not ready for what they would see behind it.
"Well then... This confirms the sangvis Ferri activity I guess" izuna said as she nervously chuckled "These satellites photos are out of date, we can't trust them at all..." Yulil said as he thought that this place was empty, and didn't have a large sangvis Ferri complex where they could clearly see multiple sangvis Ferri tdolls around it, and two giant cannons, pointed at the sky. They were either anti air cannons or artillery, both really bad news for them.
"Let's keep heading north then" yulil said as he sighed and climbed down the hill, Izuna gulped and followed him down the hill.
The duo continued their way north this time "We really need to keep a low profile especially seeing how much SF tdolls there is around here, if we get spotted we're dead, and even if we survive the enemy patrol they'd probably blast us with those cannons" yulil said to izuna "Still thinking we're gonna survive, yulil?" "I haven't died yet, have I?" He said with a "isn't it obvious?" Tone, shrugging it like it was a stupid question, which made izuna chuckle and be at ease a bit.
"I love how even if we're basically doomed I'm still laughing and even having a bit of fun"
"Good, that means I'm doing my job correctly, never give up hope, everything can turn around, and I'm talking with experience, I've seen far more surprises than you"
"Ohoho YOU, my man, don't even get me started about "surprises", i never thought somebody would be able to capture a ringleader let alone convince her to join us, until some balls to the walls guy showed up all of a sudden and immediately got hired as a commander and started getting shit done left and right, getting shit done SO HARD that even the military didn't fuck around with taking his prisoner, so don't come at me with that bullshit chief, I've got my DAMN fair share of surprises" yulil just stood there, staring at her as she ranted about her "fair share of surprises" before bursting into a hysterical laugh.
"Calm down! You're gonna cause a snowslide with your laugh!" "Balls to the walls huh? That's... That's an amazing expression, oh man" he said as he held his sides, izuna just smiled at him After that little rant the duo continued with their journey with high spirits, both didn't even act like they were stranded alone behind enemy lines.
Suddenly as they got far enough from the enemy compound, both twitched at a stuttering voice coming from his radio "Thi- Ulil?- can you hear us?... Please just say something..."
They both smiled at each other before crouching down as izuna leveled her Sig and kept a watch for enemies, while yulil responded "Identify yourself, over"
"Oh my god, he's alive!" He heard the voice say as it sounded like she addressed other people around her "Ak47? Is that you?, Over"
"Yes! Boss! Ho- are you okay? And what about izuna? Over"
"Yeah, I'm uh, alive, she's alive too... Can you give me a sitrep, ak? Over"
"Yes! Your helicopter got shot down by a bunch of Jupiter cannons, only 2 from the five helicopters got shot down... Yours and ar-team's over"
"Does the higher ups know about this?"
"Of course! They already sent a mercenary squad to find you and ar team, they're also currently forming a large scale rescue since it looks like a lot of Griffin tdolls are also imprisoned in that area... huh? Oh, miss helian wants to talk to you, please stay alive boss okay? Over"
"You've got it 47"
"...Hello commander can you read me? Over"
"5 by 5, so what's the plan miss helian? over"
"You need to regroup with ar team, they should already have met the mercenary squad, together you need to survive until we form the large rescue operation and pierce the enemy defenses did you copy? over"
"Yes, And how much time we need to hold on? Over"

"No, that's all, we're praying for your safety" and as he heard those last words, his mind immediately remembered the battle of hukai, where the higher ups said those exact words when they promised to send reinforcements but never did, they treated yulil and the rest like disposable pawns "Yeah, sure. ou-" he said sarcastically "You don't believe me commander? Over" helian asked before he could cut his radio "Honestly miss helian, with all my due respect that sounded like something you'd say at work to not get fired, not because you cared, but only because you wanted to keep your job, over..."
"...you're... You're right, I apologise, but I sincerely hope you survive, please take care of yourself commander"
"I, uh... Sorry for irrationally snapping at you helian, I'll treat you to a drink if I get back, alright?"
"WHEN you get back, not if, over"
"Hahah yeah, I'll do my best, out"
Finally yulil hid his radio as izuna looked at him.
"Looks like we got a plan" izuna said "Hell yeah, let's meet with ar team first izuna, then we can think about our next move"
"No problems from me chief"
And so the duo continued their way as they roamed through the thick snow, trying their best to spot any enemy patrol while keeping their journey to the north, hoping to meet ar-team, the sooner the better.
They kept walking until they spotted a small warehouse, yulil grabbed some binoculars and started scanning it, nothing out of place.
He gestured to izuna that it looked clear and so the duo headed towards it. They inspected it all around and noticed that it had two doors, one in the front and the second in the back.
Yulil decided it'd better for them to breach the warehouse by the back.
And so yulil and izuna set up by the door, he slowly opened it and took a peak inside, it was really dark, not good.
He grabbed a flashlight and his pistol and stormed the warehouse, followed closely by izuna.
They cleared the first room and the second one before clearing the third.
Until they reached the main room, where everything was stored and sheltered here, this shelter looked like it was here before the war.
"You think we can find something useful here?" Izuna asked curiously as she checked the boxes to only be disappointed.
"Oh~ I don't know really, maybe we can ask our red eyed friend that's hiding in the shadows" yulil said as he looked towards an extremely dark part of the warehouse.
Izuna aimed her weapon when she heard a laugh in the shadows.
"My my, you sure as hell aren't as weak and naive as you look, newbie commander" the voice said as a tdoll crossing her arms slowly walked out of the shadows, she had long hair with streaks of red, red eyes, wore quite the unusual outfit and looked like she held an old M1887 shotgun but what really caught his eyes was her jacket with the sangvis Ferri logo and a red X painted on top of it
"My my, you sure as hell aren't as weak and naive as you look, newbie commander" the voice said as a tdoll crossing her arms slowly walked out of the shadows, she had long hair with streaks of red, red eyes, wore quite the unusual outfit and looke... "And with whom do I have the pleasure of speaking?" Yulil said with a polite smile "Griffin tactical tdoll, m1887, made from sangvis Ferri parts and blueprints"
"Ah, nice to meet you m1887 my name's yulil" he said as he opened his hand to shake hands with her.
She looked at his hand with a look of disgust, which hurt him a bit.
"Heheh, I'm only joking, nice to meet you too, newbie" she said as she shook his hand.
"What's up with newbie?" He said with a stern look "You are a new commander aren't you?"
"Look here you litt- I've got more than 15 years of battle experien-"
"Yes yes, I agree newbie" she said as she patted his head and had an annoying smile on her face, izuna enjoyed the scene as she kept laughing, He decided to just drop it "So what are you doing here 1887?"
"I was sent alongside the mercenary squad to get you and ar-team out of here"
"Ah, good to have you with us then"
"And... Who are you?" 1887 turned her attention to izuna "Helicopter pilot, my name is izuna, nice to meet you"
"Likewise" she shortly replied.
"Well let's get out of here shall we?"
Both nodded at yulil as they exited the warehouse and kept heading north.
Yulil took the lead as his scanned the hills for enemies and anything suspicious, m1887 and izuna were closely behind him.
They roamed through the snow until they noticed a small shelter, almost like the bunker he first took refuge in But he also noticed someone patrolling near the bunker.
And as he focused on the silhouette he noticed she was holding a g11, doing her best to not fall on the ground as she kept stumbling "Well, looks like we finally are going to reunite with the others" yulil said as he pointed towards the shelter.
"Good find newbie" m1887 said with yulil only giving her a sidelook "Finally, I was getting tired of seeing just snow"
They kept walking towards the shelter until they attracted g11s attention, she quickly raised her weapon but layed it down as quickly when she noticed yulil.
He waved at her and kept walking towards her until he reached her.
"Hello there g11"
"H...hello" she said as she yawned "Haven't slept well?"
"Yes... only 16 hours" she said making yulil chuckle "The rest is inside I presume?"
She only nodded her head as yulil started opening the metallic door, and hoped that he won't get another verbal abuse from ump45 He got inside as he noticed that everyone from ar team and 404 squad was in there, the room was really big and had a large table in the middle with notes and maps layed all around it.
They all turned their heads at the opening door and sighed when they saw yulil.
"Thank goodness" m4 said Sop came running and hugged yulil "Commander! I told them you'd not die from only a crash" sop said as he patted her head "Took your sweet time huh?" Ar15 said "You weren't worried about me? I'm hurt" he replied "Actually she was the most wor-" M16 was saying as ar15 punched her side.
"I see you all are still as lively as ever, good"
And only then did he noticed ump45 walking towards him with an angry expression "Hey hold up! I didn't do it on purpose this time!"
She kept walking until she hugged him tightly.
"Try to contact us and tell us you didn't die next time... Don't leave us worried okay?" She said as she looked up to him with a really intimidating look.
"Yes ma'am"
"Good" she said as she let him go.
Izuna alongside 1887 got in "Hello everyone, name's m1887, I'll help you escape"
"Ah izuna, nice to see you survived too" M16 said "Likewise, likewise, so what's the plan everyone?"
"Well we planned to go on a yulil hunt but I guess he doesn't need us" ump45 said as she winked at him.
"Quite the opposite, now I really need you... If we don't cooperate we won't be able to escape"
"Right right, come over here I'll brief you" ump45 told him as she grabbed his hand and dragged him on the other side of the table "M16? You have quite the face there"ro635 said as she noticed her expression "Ah? Uh... Honestly ro, I'm worried about yulil, he shouldn't trust foxeyes, he'll regret it"
"Is she really that bad"
"Yes" M16 said with no hesitation
"Alright so you're telling me that there are dozens of Jupiter cannons around here..." Yulil said "Correct" 45 replied "And that we have two ringleaders on our hands?
"Correct"
"And that the only way out is to pass by a sangvis Ferri checkpoint"
"Also correct"
"But if we get in contact with those tdolls by the checkpoint they'll blast us with the cannons"
"Correct...still thinking we're gonna survive?" She said with her usual expression "Of course... I'm still alive aren't I?"
"Heheh, I guess I should've seen that coming"
"What do you think our chances of survival are?" 45 added, with her usual expression.
"With those cannons... Zero percent, but if we can destroy or cripple them, then it'd be a piece of cake"
"Then I might be of help newbie" 1887 said as she came up behind him.
"Newbie?" Ump45 asked, with a genuine curious look "It suits him don't you think so?"
"What did you want to tell me miss 1887?" he said as he restrained himself the best he could and it could be obvious from his tone and look, which made the other two laugh.
"Ah yes... I have some information for you, all of the cannons rely on the power coming from the enemy base, south of where we met."
"Hm~ yeah... I've seen it but we can't really just get in there can we"
"Well, at least we know that we can power 'em down, now we only need suicidal persons to go" ump45 said as she scratched her chin "Very funny... It's too risky" yulil said "Your call newbie, I'll go with whatever you decide" 1887 said with a smile.
"Yeah yeah, I'll see what I can do" he replied "Let's get back yulil" ump45 said, gesturing to the map "Ah yes, so where will the rescue force come from?"
"This way" she said pointing at the map "Wait a second... If they pierce the enemy defense, wouldn't SF just bombard them with the Jupiter cannons" "Well... see that's the plan helian told me, they will only pierce the first defense checkpoint and wait for us there, outside of the cannons' range, so we basically need to defeat the second checkpoint and regroup with them on the first"
"But then we'd get blasted"
"Then I guess we need to bypass it somehow since deactivating the cannons are far too risky to do" 45 said as she scratched the back of her head.
Ump9 came from behind them and handed them two soda cans.
"Here you go! For our two tacticians"
"Thanks" he said "Danke, shwester" ump45 replied They opened it and took a sip as yulil exhaled and thought of what he could do to get his troops out of this mess.
"Well... Lets leave it for tomorrow, we'll head first and see how the checkpoint is like then we can decide our next step"
"Yeah you're probably right, maybe we can easily sneak past it" ump45 said with a Chuckle "hahah, You didn't even convince yourself with those words"
"Touch ...but I trust you, and that's all I need to stay calm" she said with her usual sly smile.
"Sometimes I really wonder what really goes through your head behind your devilish smile" he said "Ah don't worry... I have nothing to hide, at least when I'm with you"
"Oh my, I'm flattered" "I'll go and relieve g11, take care of yourself kommandant" 45 said as she headed outside.
Yulil sighed and kept looking at the photos of the enemy base, he kept staring at them, thinking about if it could really be infiltrated, his daydreaming got cut by a slap to his back "What are you thinking about now commander?" M16 said.
"Ah it's you, nothing really..."
"Hey, you're getting pretty close to foxeyes aren't you?" She said with a forced smile "Ump45?" He said as she nodded "Do you trust her?"
"Hm... That's a good question... I'd say that yes I do"
"I... Look, for your own safety be wary of her okay?" M16 said with a genuinely worried expression "M16... I don't know what kind of past she had, nor the past you two had with each other, and yes you're kind of right, she will screw you over when you least expect it, but that kind of attitude stopped like 6 days ago"
"She only cares about money commander, she only cares about finishing her contract successfully, even if it means letting people die, You honestly think she'd do anything good if you don't pay her to?"
"I didn't pay her to keep ar15 safe" he said as he crossed his arms, M16 went silent for a moment "Yeah, you didn't know but she was the one who kept an eye on you guys, she was the one who told me where you were, and even fought off a ringleader just to buy me enough time to convince ar15, so don't go too hard on her, I'm sure she has a dark past behind her and she's doing her best to turn that around, alright?" M16 thought for a second as she looked to the ground before putting him a headlock and messing with his hair.
"Oh you~, first a ringleader, then ar15 and now ump45" after that she let him go as he just smiled and said "Well, glad we could agree... Looks like it's already getting dark, we should organise the guard duty, call everyone M16"
And so they all grouped and agreed to put people on guard duty, they were 12 people on total and so they decided to put a 1 hour guard duty for each of them, izuna started first They grabbed some blankets they found and did their best to form comfortable surfaces they could sleep on "I'll take the furthest right side" yulil said "Then I'll take the one next to you!" Ump45 immediately said after him as he sighed and just didn't argue Yulil layed on his back and tried his best to sleep as he could clearly feel someone staring at him, he tried his best to not mind it until sleep finally got the best of him.
He woke in the middle of the night as he opened his eyes and saw that ump45 was hugging his arm really tightly, as he checked his watch he noticed that it was only 5 minutes before his turn start, and so he decided to go and relieve ar15 earlier.
He slowly tried to pull his arm as ump45 only held tighter on it and slowly spoke while sleeping "Yu...lil...don't leave...me..."
Those words were like a thorn to his heart, but nevertheless he found her really cute.
He thought about escaping without waking her up, he slowly put his hand on her cheek as she steadily let go of his arm and tried to grab his hand, alas she couldn't.
After that he got up and wore his jacket and headed outside, he found ar keeping watch.
"Couldn't sleep well...dad?" She said with a devious smile "You're gonna keep calling me that aren't you?
"Well you were the one who proposed it to me, besides it's pretty funny" she said with a soft chuckle "Sure sure, you can go sleep now, I'll take it from here"
"Alright, take care of yourself" she said as she put her hand on his shoulder and got back the shelter Yulil sighed, grabbed a cigarette as he enjoyed it and waited for an hour to pass.
His watch finally ended as he entered and crouched by ump45 "Hey, 45 wake up" he softly said as he gently shook her, she slowly opened her eyes and smiled "Mmm~ I wish you'd wake me up everyday" she said with her usual sly smile "Yeah yeah now get up, I uh... Need to talk with you" he said with a serious face.
"Hm? Okay wait a second" Yulil grabbed his kit and headed outside followed by ump45 "Where the hell are you going?" She said as she finally noticed he was wearing his kit.
"Well... I'm going to give you a chance to escape" he said with a smile "What do you mean? I'm not following"
"You know what I mean... I'm going to cut down the power to the Jupiter cannons, so the rescue force can push and rescue all of you, and the other stray tdolls"
"No...no,you're gonna die! You even saw it yourself, it'd be impossible to infiltrate it!"
"Either that or we all die here" he said with a serious face.
"Why... Why do you always do this..." She said with a broken voice.
"Ah well... I'm the commander here aren't I? What's the point of you trusting me if I can't even get you back safely..."
"I don't want you to go yulil... Please don't..."
"Cmon now... Dont worry, you know I won't die so easily, besides I've got my luck charm" he said as he showed her the bracelet she gave him, she smiled when she saw it and replied "Heh... Fine... I'll let you go, if I go with you!" "Ump45 please don't act like this... I need you to stay here, you're the only one who can safely lead them outta here"
"You trust me that much?..."
"Of course I do... So can I have your word that you'll lead them out of here?"
She lunged at him and hugged him for a while before letting him go and wiping her eyes "Al...alright... Just go before I change my mind"
"Thanks... I'll come back, don't worry" he said as he started walking away south, he waved goodbye at her as she slowly sat on the ground.
"He sure is weird isn't he?" A voice said as ump45 looked at where it came from "Oh, m1887...well...you saw what just happened"
"Yeah, looks like newbie cares about you all" she said as she smiled "Too much...far too much" ump45 said as she smiled, looking at yulil's fading silhouette.
And so morning came when ump45 told them about yulil's plan, M16 got angry thinking that she did something to him but quickly calmed down when 1887 confirmed what happend
"Alright so here's the plan, yulil is going to go and disable the Jupiter cannons from the enemy base, and when we notice that they powered down we'll push through the checkpoint and regroup with the rescue force... Any questions?" Ump45 said as she briefed the rest of the tdolls' and as no-one replied they started heading towards the enemy checkpoint, that's when m16 got closer to ump45 and asked her.
"Did he really put you in charge? Fox eyes?"
"Yes he did...worried?"
"Yes I'm worried... What about the other tdolls that are stranded? Are we just gonna abandon them, they're not part of the mission are they?" M16 said with a intimidating look "No they're not...but we'll save as much as we can along the way"
"But... You know you're not getting paid for saving them right?" M16 said, genuinely surprised by her reply "Yes I do you dummy..."
"Then why? That's not how you usually work..."
"That's what yulil would do... And what he would want me to do...and I'm definitely not gonna disappoint him"
"So now you're mimicking his actions?"
"Yes... Is there a problem with that?"
"...no...not at all" she said as she looked to the ground "Look m16...I know we had a bitter past, and that you've got a bad impression of me from my previous...acts, but for the success of this missions and the survival of the others... Can you trust me?"
M16 looked around nervously as she noticed her serious expression and scratched the back of her head.
"Looks like yulil really did some work on you... Alright... Let's start all over again... My name is m16a1 nice to meet you" M16 said as she opened her hand, ump45 stood there with wide eyes before replying.
"Heh... And my name is ump45...nice to meet you too M16" she said as she shook her hand, both agreed to start off fresh, forgetting their past and uniting together to not disappoint yulil.
And on the other side of the spectrum, yulil reached an abandoned shack where he readied himself by the door and slowly opened it, empty...
He entered it and grabbed his flashlight and started shinning lights around the small room.
Something caught his eyes though, it was a drone on a table, it looked like someone deactivated it from the inside as the drone was torn open...
Yulil thought about it for a second and then proceeded to inspect the drone, the cables were all displaced, the drone was so dusty you'd think it was left here for years.
"We put that in there... the white with the red... Sensory module looks okay, hm~" he said to himself and as he connected the last cable with the main module the drone suddenly lit up and immediately hovered where it hit the ceiling.
"Owwww" an extremely girly and young voice said "Excuse me, am I hallucinating now?!" Yulil said as he looked around "Who... Are you?" It said again, he finally noticed that it was coming from the drone "Don't you think you should be the one to introduce yourself first? Since I basically put life back in you"
"Oh...you were the one who powered me on?... Thank you" "No problems... Now what kind of drone are you?"
"Ah yes... I'm a sangvis Ferri experimental combat and support aerial drone or E.C.S.A.D for short"
"Wait a second I never heard of any SF drones back in my day"
"Wait what do you mean back in your day?"
"Sangvis Ferri started slaughtering humans like 30 years ago..."
"No... There's no way right"
"Sorry but that's the truth, I'm an ex sangvis Ferri commander... Was cryo frozen and now currently working for Griffin and kruyger"
"I... See... Wait what's your name?"
"Yulil tapferkeit"
Suddenly the drone went silent for a few seconds "Ah yes... Looks like you are in the database... Hm... Wait a second my hologram is off"
The drone said before it projected a coloured hologram on top of it, it took the form of a chibi girl with long purple hair, she wore knee and elbow pads and looked like she wore a leather jacket with black over-knee socks, boots and a skirt "That's better" she said as she exhaled "Holy hell, that's you?! You're so cute!"
He said as he grabbed the drone and kept looking at her "Hey hey, I do not consent!" she said which made yulil laugh as he released the drone.
"So...what are you going to do now?" He asked her, she looked down.
"I don't know...I was made to help sangvis Ferri tdolls, but now they're going wild... and I don't think I can help in killing innocents"
"Then how about joining me?" He said with a smile, she looked up at him and replied.
"You're... Well... I guess you kinda deserve my help since you brought me back to life" "Ah,I uh... Forgot something to tell you".
"Oh dear... What is it now?" She said as she crossed her arms "I'm kinda on a suicide mission to infiltrate a sangvis Ferri base to deactivate their defenses so I can let my Griffin tdolls escape" he said as he scratched the back of his head.
"Ooh, Livin life on the edge huh? I'm in!" She said with an excited expression "Really? I mean you probably will get shot you know?"
"Hah without my help you probably won't even survive!" she said, looking proud "Well what CAN you do?"
"I don't know!" She said, keeping her proud face "Or should I say I don't know yet!, Let me check, I forgot okay? Stop looking at me like that it hurts my pride" she said as he gave her a disappointed look "Stay still" she told him.
"Wait what are you-" he said before she scanned him.
"Look at your hands now" she said looking proudly "What about my... Where the hell are my hands!" "You're invisible, dummy" she said as she looked annoyed.
"Oh! That's amazing that's gonna be really helpful" "Heheh I told you I could be of use to you, I can also put a hologram of you now, apart from that I guess I still need to learn about my abilities"
"You're gonna be really useful... But you sure you still wanna join me? It's not gonna be an easy ride you know?"
"Ah don't worry, I like being close to the edge" "Alright then welcome! What's your name by the way?"
"I told you, E.C.S.A.D"
"No I mean your personal name" she stared at him for a moment before she replied "I... Don- you give me one!" "Huh~...a name fitting your personality what about... Ash?"
"I'll take it! From now never call E.C.S.A.D Again, I'm ash!" "You've got it ash, now let's get out of here and head towards their base"
"Sir yes sir!"
And so yulil and ash headed towards the enemy base and as they arrived on the hill that overlooks it yulil exhaled deeply and spoke up.
"How much time is the invisibility cloak gonna hold for?"
"I don't know, 10 minutes perhaps?"
"Alright, that's enough, you can turn yourself invisible aswell?"
"Of course!"
"Nice, alright let's get the show started, shall we ash?"
She nodded as both went invisible, yulil started going down the hill and heading towards the entrance, where two vespids were guarding there.
He hugged the wall and moved close by, as he noticed a gap he moved through it making as little noise as he could...
He successfully passed it and entered the compound, he noticed a building that looked like the commanding center... He sighed and went inside...
He kept exploring the room as he evaded the enemy patrols within the building by basically standing still and holding his breath, ash was a wonder he thought...
He finally got inside a room with a bunch of communication equipment and monitors, It reminded him of Intruder's base, suddenly his clock gave in as he returned to normal, he sighed and heard the invisible ash saying "sorry, that's all I have" he gestured that it was okay and started entering the monitoring equipment and deactivating the cannons, their power drained all the way as their lights extinguished, or that's what he saw through the monitors He sighed and hoped that ump45 is taking opportunity of it.
"Ash, go away right now, exit the building and wait for my outside" yulil said to the invisible ash as he continued to tinker with the SF equipment...
"My my, looks like someone came to have a bit of fun with me!" a voice said behind him, making his heart drop He slowly turned around to find a tall purple eyes tdoll, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed... She had one devilish of a smile
"Didnt expect to attract any attention on my way here" he said"My my, you deactivated the cannons right right?! Now however" She said as she started walking towards him.
"Me and you are going to have a tooooon of fuuun" she said as she cracked her knuckles and intensified her evil smile.
Yulil got in his fighting stance as she throw a punch at him, she was much quicker than she looked like as he barely moved away his head from danger, he grabbed her arm and with his leg he threw her away.
"Oh~ pretty tough aren't ya? Good! We can have plenty of fun then!" She said as she got up and retaliated.
She threw a roundhouse kick to his head, he barely blocked it with his hand as he could feel an intense pain as her kick landed, he stepped back and gritted his teeth.
She laughed and advanced towards him.
As she reached him she feinted a kick and as she noticed his eyes following her leg she smirked and hit him as hard as she could with a punch to the chest, sending him flying to the wall... Yulil hit the wall so hard that smoke from destroying the wall engulfed him, she put her palm on her mouth "Nooooo, I wanted to have more fuun... Ah I went too far and forgot he had a weak human body..." She said with a sad voice Suddenly a knife came flying from the smoke as it grazed her cheek and pierced the monitor behind her.
"Ohhhh?" She said, regaining her cheerfulness while a bit of blood dripped from her cheeck The smoke slowly dissipated as she noticed that yulil was standing perfectly on his legs, his eyes emitted a clear and bright colour, similar to her eyes but in yellow He stood there as he started to smile like her.
"How did you survive that? No human could've survived that hard of a punch!" She said looking impressed.
"Ah well..." He said as he cracked his neck.
"I'm not 100 percent human anymore... Now... You're gonna regret making me use my trump card... I become quite... volatile... when I am like this"
"Hahahaha this is the best fun I ever had, cmon! Let's continue!" She said with her fearsome smile "Gladly" he said as he had a similar smile.
Both lunged at each other, leaving two pairs of purple and yellow streams with their eyes, as they threw a punch... Both fists collided with each other as they grinned to the pain...yulil after that threw a knee to her stomach, she leaned forward from the impact as saliva came from her mouth before she threw an uppercut.
Yulil received the nasty hit and stepped back.
She stood up, wiping the saliva from her mouth "I like... I love this!" She said before regaining her smile.
Yulil smirked as both advanced towards each other, she threw a right hook but he could easily read it now... He dodged it like it was nothing and tried to punch her in the stomach, she evaded the punch and grabbed him by his collar "You're pretty fun aren't you? I'm thinking of keeping you here...for E-ver~" She said as she smiled "Sounds extremely tempting but I'll have to refuse!" He replied as he headbutted her, she recoiled from it and stepped back.
He took the opportunity and lunged at her, spearing her down as he got on top of her and pulled his pistol, pointing it at her head... even though she was at a disadvantage she just kept her evil smile.
"My my, I guess this is my lose." She said as she raised her hands Yulil under the effect of his "trump card" didn't care about her surrendering... He wanted to see her blood...he wanted to put a bullet in her head... He wanted to kill her really badly... and as he was pressing on the trigger, the door leading to the room opened up, both diverted their attention to it as they saw the other ringleader, full of bullet holes and with a missing arm, she was still holding her weapon which was split in two.

"Gager! No!" Architect yelled as she pushed yulil away and ran to gager, holding her in her arms...

"Hey hey stay with me gager, it's just a flesh wound, nothing bad will happen right right?!"
"Oh...let...let's be serious..." Gager said as she coughed blood.
As architect kept crying and yulil was staring at the scene a memory started flickering in his perception, the memory was basically the same as this scene, except he was in the place of architect and Jane was in the part of gager... He grit his teeth and his eyes started flickering back to their normal colour.
"Your name is architect right?" He said as he put his hand on her shoulder, she looked at him with her watery eyes.
"I can help your friend... If you stop fighting for sangvis Ferri that is..."
"I don't care about sangvis Ferri! I don't care about this war! I'll do anything... Just please save her...please..."
"Alright!" He said as he got up "Take us to whatever console we can reprogram her system with"
"But how's that gonna help her?!"
"Just trust me!" Architect grit her teeth as she grabbed the unconscious gager in her arms and ran outside, followed by yulil, two vespids suddenly aimed at him as he raised his shotgun "Don't shoot him! If you do I'll break your windpipe and make you eat it!" She said with a fearsome expression, her troops slowly lowered their barrels and yulil did the same as they continued their way.
They entered a room with a bed and a tdoll programming console, she put gager on the futuristic bed and connected her to the console.
Yulil sat on the chair and powered the console, as architect was behind him watching what he was doing "What the fuck am I doing now..." He thought "Am I really helping them?... I don't even know them...it's not like the case of intruder... Why did I have to remember her..."
After that train of thought yulil started reprogramming her energy distribution, the fluids of her body carrying the energy needed for her modules to work were seeping out her wounds at an alarming rate, and if her brain stop receiving that same energy... She'll just die... And only the military have the necessary technology to help her if that happens.
After stopping the fluids inside her body he redirected the energy to only her brain, which meant basically that she was now in an artificial coma...
"Alright, she should be okay for now, now we need to change her parts, can you bring the necessary parts architect?"
"Of course! Just wait here please okay? Don't run away..." she said with a worried expression "I won't... I promise" he said with a smile, she quickly leaned as she kissed him on his cheek and started running outside He chuckled and after some time he looked upwards.
"I can see you ash..."
Suddenly ash deactivated her invisibility cloak "Whoah, how the hell did you see me?...not cool" She said as she puffed her cheeks "Military secrets" he said as he winked at her.
"Why... Why are you helping them?" She said as she had a genuine confused look "Aren't they supposed to be your enemy?"
Yulil looked around before answering "I... Remembered that I was in the same position as her... Someone close to me died in my arms, and nobody helped me... So I thought hey, let's not make her go through the same experience as me, I didn't really think... I just acted"
Ash bursted laughing.
"You really are kindhearted, even to your enemy... I'm glad I joined you, yulil"
Suddenly the door opened as architect carried a massive box, twice if not triple her size.
"I've brought all the parts! Ohhh~ who's that cute drone over there?"
"She's my drone, don't worry she won't do anything...Alright now we do the magic... I'll ask you to leave the room architect please since I need to focus"
"Okay, oh what's your name by the way?"
"It's yulil"
"Okay I trust you yulil!" She said as she waited outside and closed the door behind her.
"Right, now I need to just not fuck up... You did this kind of repairs plenty of times to intruder and all the others cmon now, focus"
And so yulil started changing her broken parts as he did his best to keep her fluids inside of her system, bit by bit he removed the broken parts and the shot down modules...
After around two hours yulil finally finished his work as he wiped the sweat off his forehead...
He went to the console and turned the fluids circulation to normal, he was used to sangvis Ferri tdolls' algorithm and programming so it was a piece of cake for him.
Gager slowly woke up as she held her head.
"Are you okay?" He said She just grunted and as she looked at him her eyes widened and she immediately grabbed him by his throat and pinned him to the wall.
"What did you do to me?"
"Look at yourself and you'll get your answer"
Gager slowly looked at her body as she noticed that she was basically fully repaired Architect heard the noise and opened the door, her eyes widened as she started running and collided with gager who released yulil's throat while they started hugging each other.
"I'm so happy... You're not dead..." Gager didn't know what to say, she just stood there "Did this human... Help me?..." She asked architect "Yes! His name is yulil and he saved your life"
"Yeah, and you were gonna take mine" he said as he held his throat "I apologize... But why?... Why did you save me"
"Ah, why dig deeper gager?... I helped you and that's it"
"Wait a second... Yulil? Aren't you the Griffin commander who captured intruder?" Gager asked "Yup that's me"
"Did you... Torture her and kill her?" Gager asked "Huh? No! She's alive and has joined us"
Gager and architect looked at each other.
"Agent..." Architect said "Lied to us...?" Gager added "Agent huh... Looks like she's still alive" yulil thought "And now... What are you gonna do?" Yulil asked "Join you obviously! I made a promise to you remember? I don't even care about sangvis Ferri! And I can have way more fun with you!"
"And what about you gager?" Yulil asked Gager only looked around thinking of what to choose.
"But... I'd break my honor if I betray sangvis Ferri"
"Honor?... Do you find killing innocent humans honorable?" He asked with a serious face "No..." She timidly said "Are you happy with being lied to? Not even knowing what kind of horrible, horrible things you're doing?"
"No... Fine! I'll go wherever architect goes... And I'll see if intruder is still alive, and if you lied..."
"Trust me on this one, I wouldn't even dare to kill a friend of mine"
"She's your friend?!" Architect asked "Yeah... I was a commander when sangvis Ferri went AWOL, and I've been cryogenically frozen for 30 years, so yes intruder is my friend" Gager and architect looked at each other then laughed "I guess we didnt even know anything huh?" Gager said "Yes! But it's okay! Because now we do" architect added "So..." Gager said as they both turned to yulil "What now commander?" Architect said as she quickly saluted him He smiled and sighed "Well, time to go back home..."
"I'm going to set the troops to self destruct since their programming is too simple to actually decide what faction to choose, they're basically puppets with no thoughts, insentient" gager said Yulil didn't feel pleasent with that and architect noticed it as she slapped his back "Don't worry! They can't feel anything, like she said they're basically robots!"
"I'll trust you two with that then"
"Let's go to your base I wanna see it!" Ash said
After that yulil, architect, ash and gager exited the base as they saw all of the SF tdolls that were guarding the base now dead on the ground, from the self destruct order.
They exited the base and started moving towards the meeting point with the rescue force "By the way what happened to you gager?" Yulil asked "Ah well, I underestimated your troops, they were very coordinated and cooperated far better than me and my underlings... Especially the one with fox eyes and the one with the eyepatch, those two looked really close"
"What? M16 and ump45?! That's... That's a new one" he said as he laughed "Are we there yet..."
"No for the last time we're not there yet architect..."
"Can you carry me? I'll give you another kiss~"
"No I'd rather not carry you, my kit is heavy enough"
"Meanie" she replied as she pouted "Dont worry we've already walked more than half the way" ash said "Thank you cutie" architect replied And so the little group of misfits steadily made their way towards the meeting point.
Finally yulil could see the end of this zone, the tall, black as a void metal walls were really terrifying, but he also could see a bunch of Humvees by the giant gate, and yup... Upon closer inspection all his team was there, alongside a lot more troops, presumably the rescue force.
"You all are ready?" He told gager and architect Gager nodded and architect gave a thumbs up and her usual scary smile.
"It's been almost 4 hours since we last heard of him..." Izuna said "Don't worry he's probably coming back already" ar15 "Yeah, and his radio probably died, since I'm guessing he didn't change its batteries" intruder added "Yeah we're getting worried for nothing haha" M16 added as they all nervously laughed, they all thought the exact opposite of what they said "We got 3 individuals coming from the south!" A tdoll who had binoculars said, as she made everyone tense up "Three?! Can I have the binoculars for a second Thompson?"M16 said As m16 used the binoculars she saw yulil alongside gager and architect laughing and walking with a drone hovering over them "By the sweet taste of Jack Daniels... Isn't that the ringleader we drove off coming with him?!"
"What?! Can I see?" Ump45 said as m16 handed her the binoculars.
"You've got to be kidding me... That...that dummkopf!" Ump45 angrily said After a while yulil reached them as he could see each of them had an angry expression "Look... Before you beat me up, I've literally conquered this whole zone, so can I at least not get a tongue lashing?"
"What the hell were you thinking going out on your own like that?!" Izuna said "Oh cmon we all survived and we cleared the area"
"Wait...architect?!... Gager?!" Intruder said as she dropped her weapon and ran towards them, giving them a group hug.
"Hahah guess you are still alive after all" gager warmly said.
"Yeah! I knew yulil didn't lie!" Architect added Suddenly yulil got punched in his side as he was watching those 3 and as he turned around he noticed it was ump45 "Ouch... hey I did tell you that I'd come back didn't I?" "You did... But don't do it again... What the hell happened to your radio?!"
"Nothing look it still works" and as he tried to talk through it he noticed that the batteries ran dry Intruder laughed and said "See... Told you all that he wouldn't change its batteries"
"So... Why are those two with you?" M16 said as she gave them a sidelook "Ah, these are the two ringleaders of this area, they're joining us... They were pretty friendly, if you exclude architect destroying a wall with me and gager almost suffocating me but in all they're nice..." He said which made them laugh.
"I see... As nice as intruder I hope" M16 said "I don't even know how kruyger will react when I tell him I got two more ringleaders that defected"
"Well let's hope that he won't get a heart attack" ar 15 "Ah newbie! You survived... And got yourself new tdolls, exceeding my expectations yet again" 1887 sarcastically said as she came out of a humvee "Oh god not her again, protect me Archy!" he said as he hid behind architect "Hoooo! I like that, archy~" architect said "Awww you know that I like you newbie~"
"Please spare me your teasing... let's get back to base for now... I'm really tired as of now" As he said that architect wrapped her arms around him "We're going to-ge-ther~" "Fine just calm down, me, you, intruder and gager will take that humvee... and obviously ash" "Ash?" Everyone said, confused "Ah yes... Deactivate your cloak you damn introvert" and as he said those words ash appeared between them scratching the back of her head.
Everyone went crazy on how cute she was "Stop trying to touch me you damn tdolls! That's only a hologram! Yulil please help me I didn't sign up for this!"
And so everyone finally reunited once again... This time heading towards parabellum without any inconvenience.
