Fight or Flight
"Let her go!" Kagome screamed at the man holding Rin captive.
She could see his intentions clearly in his eyes. He would hurt her; probably worse. Kagome couldn't let that happen. She'd already been the cause of so many wrongs. She couldn't allow harm to come to Rin as well.
"No! Stop!" Rin cried, struggling as the man pinned her to the ground and climbed on top of her.
Kagome's heart raced and her eyes widened, a heavy sickness crawling up her throat. Kicking against the man restraining her wrists, she fought as hard as she could to escape him.
