Life With You

Part Thirty:

Family Ties: Part Two

Goku didn't think an afternoon picnic with his family would lead to him spending the remaining part of his day hunting dragon balls. Yesterday, he wasn't sure it was possible Earth will have dragon balls again but listening to the broadcast of all those soldiers of Earth's army marching to their deaths was the last straw for Goku. He had to do something.

It was a long shot but Goku thought of finding the new planet the Namekians resided on and ask if one of them will want to return to Earth and be the new Kami. The Elder volunteered Dende who befriended Gohan and still talks of Earth after all this time.

After reuniting Dende with Gohan and Krillin, Dende revived the dragon balls. With that task completed, Goku left Kami's Temple and visited Bulma to get the dragon ball radar and hunt for dragon balls.

Six hours later, Goku had five dragon balls. It was fun hunting for dragon balls but also lonely. The last time he hunted for dragon balls was before his death. It felt like a lifetime ago. Gohan was four,

attending preschool and wanted to see Shenron. ChiChi helped him on his hunt. She purchased several maps and hearing his stories of where he found previous dragon balls, helped him narrow down his search.

That weekend he died, the family had plans to search for dragon balls. Goku had to convince ChiChi it will be a fun trip for the family. They could search for the dragon balls now but Goku told Gohan to stay on Kami's Temple until the Cell Games. It would be nice for them to hunt dragon balls together but it wasn't what Goku wanted.

He wanted to be with ChiChi. They haven't spent much time together and Goku knew that was his fault. It would be fun hunting dragon balls with ChiChi. She's never done it but voiced wanting to do it. Now Goku can grant ChiChi her wish.

ChiChi wondered what was going on in Goku's mind. Hours ago, the family went on a picnic. Their afternoon plans were cancelled at Goku's sudden departure after they heard the deaths of the world's army by Cell's hands. Before he left, Goku told ChiChi and Gohan to go home. ChiChi was cleaning the picnic dishes and Gohan was reading when Goku returned. He didn't tell ChiChi where he went. He grabbed Gohan and disappeared again.

That was six hours ago. It was evening now. What could they be doing?

"…Considering what happened hours ago, we don't dare go any further," a reporter humbly spoke on TV.

The reporter stood among the remains of the world's army. Behind him were wreckages of jet fighters, tanks and crushed helmets of fallen soldiers. "This army took years to build. Some of the soldiers who lost their lives today served during the crisis of King Piccolo. Military experiences range from first year members to twenty-year veterans. The world's army was the only line of defense against Cell. If they couldn't stop him, who can?"

ChiChi turned off the TV. Goku left because of what happened to those soldiers. In a week, her husband will be fighting that monster. Goku's stronger than the men who died but it didn't ease her worry.

As she sat alone worrying about her husband, Goku appeared before ChiChi.

"Goku, what are….." She noticed he was alone. "Where's Gohan?"

"He's on Kami's Temple. He's spending time with Dende. You remember him, don't you?"

ChiChi met Dende when Gohan returned from Namek and when they visited Capsule Corporation. "Yes, but how do you know him? Gohan said you didn't meet him on Namek."

"I went to the new Namek and brought Dende back to be the new Kami for Earth. He revived the dragon balls and I've been looking for them." Goku pulled out five of the dragon balls from his pockets. "See? We'll be able to bring back everyone Cell killed."

That explained why Goku was gone and part of why Gohan was on Kami's Temple but it wasn't enough for ChiChi. "If you're hunting dragon balls, why are you here?"

Goku grinned. "I thought it would be fun if we collect them. You wanted to."

"That was years ago and it was for Gohan to see Shenron."

"Now we can do it to revive everyone killed by Cell. Come on," Goku coaxed her. "It'll be fun. You said you wanted to look for them, too."

"All right," ChiChi gave in. She did want to experience dragon ball hunting and it was better than staying alone waiting on Goku to collect them. "But we pick up Gohan after we collect the dragon balls."

That wasn't Goku's plan but he'll let ChiChi think that. Best to deal with that fight with ChiChi after they get the dragon balls. These days before the Cell Game were for them alone.

Goku told her the remaining two were on the other side of the world. ChiChi packed a few items for them before they left on Nimbus at nightfall. They snuggled close as they slept for the long journey but when they reached the other side of the world, the sun was still up and its rays awakened ChiChi.

The dragon ball radar in Goku's jacket pocket beeped. ChiChi reached inside and pulled it out. When they left, ChiChi saw Goku use it to trace the dragon balls. Mimicking his actions, an image appeared on the green screen.

A second beeped stirred Goku. "Awake, Goku?"

Goku rubbed his face as he yawned. He noticed the bright sky. "Is it tomorrow?"

"Goku," ChiChi tried to get his attention. "Does this mean a dragon ball is near?"

Goku put his hand over ChiChi's and squeezed the button on the radar. It beeped and a round symbol got bigger on the green screen. "Yup. One is down here." Looking down, Goku saw mountains and forests. "Let's go." Grabbing ChiChi, Goku jumped off Nimbus.

"Goku!" ChiChi screamed. "A little warning next time!" She clutched onto him tighter as they plummet.

"Ah, this is nothing, ChiChi." Goku's feet gently touched the ground. He released ChiChi and studied the radar again. "Yup. It's really near."

ChiChi looked around the terrain while Goku read the radar. She noticed a dinosaur fly over them. "Looks like we are in dinosaur territory."

"It's better than the elephants. One of them almost broke my hand." Half a mile into their walk, Goku and ChiChi stood at the bottom of a mountain. The dragon radar pinged loudly. ChiChi couldn't see it but Goku's eyes saw something. There were rustle of leaves and branches on the edge of the mountain's top. Living in Mount Paouz Goku figured it was a nest. "Guess the dragon ball is up there."

Goku put his arm around ChiChi and flew them up to the mountain's top where a large nest clustered with twigs, branches and bones of animals stood. The bones gave ChiChi a creepy feeling. "Are you sure it's here, Goku?"

Goku stepped in the nest. "It must be here. The radar says so." Goku bent down and looked through the straws of the nest and bones. "It's probably hidden behind all this stuff."

ChiChi looked around nervous. "Well, hurry up. The nest looks like it's a home of dinosaurs. They can back at any moment."

"It's just dinosaurs, ChiChi." Goku didn't understand ChiChi's fear. She lived on Mount Paouz with him. She's sees dinosaurs every day. "No need to worr—ha! I think I got it!" Goku grabbed something round and pulled it from the bones. It was the four-star ball. "Grandpa's dragon ball."

A shadow past over Goku and ChiChi. Both looked up to see two pterosaur dinosaurs looming over them. One held two dead bears in its clawed hands and the other held two dead tigers. They dropped the animals carelessly by the nest. ChiChi stepped closer to Goku who waved the dragon ball at the dinosaurs. "Hello. I was getting a dragon ball. We need it to bring back everyone Cell has killed."

"Goku," ChiChi worriedly eyed the dinosaurs licking their lips at them. "I don't think they care about that."

Poodles of liquid oozed from the red dinosaur's lips. "Look at that. We hunted for dinner and it came home to us."

The blue one eyed ChiChi. "I get the pretty female."

"You don't wanna eat us," Goku laughed off their words. "You got plenty of food already."

The dinosaurs didn't listen to Goku's reasoning but seeing as they shifted their focus on him, Goku signaled ChiChi to stay back. The red dinosaur attacked first batting his wings and swiping his sharp claws at Goku. The blue dinosaur swung his tail at Goku who ducked, avoiding it effortlessly. He didn't want to hurt the dinosaurs but he didn't want to be eaten by them either.

While dodging the strikes of the red pterosaur, a scream nearby rattled Goku. He turned and saw the blue pterosaur moving towards ChiChi. Everything happened in seconds. Goku punched the red dinosaur's stomach. It rattled the dinosaur so hard he fell forward face first into his nest. Goku rushed to help ChiChi but she stunned him when he saw a Kamehameha Wave form in her hands. Last time he saw ChiChi's wave it was during their fight when he broke out of the hospital.

ChiChi's wave pierced through the dinosaur's chest but with Goku behind the dinosaur, it hit him, too. Startled, the wave knocked Goku off his feet and toppled him over the mountain.

"GOKU!" ChiChi screamed horrified at what she had done. "Goku!" ChiChi ran to the mountain's edge ready to leap down to aid Goku when he suddenly rose back to the top laughing.

"Goku," ChiChi touched his face and chest worriedly once he landed. "Are you all right? Are you hurt?"

Goku couldn't stop laughing. "You've definitely gotten stronger, ChiChi." He rubbed his stomach as he brushed past her to the dinosaur she killed. "And you got us breakfast." He paused. "Or is it dinner since we flew backwards? What was it Gohan told me? Time zones? Time changes?"

ChiChi grabbed Goku's face. She didn't care about time zone differences. She only cared about him. "Are you sure you're all right?"

Goku grinned at her. "I'm more than all right, ChiChi."

ChiChi's hands slipped from his face. That voice. That look in Goku's eyes. She knew what that meant. ChiChi took a step back. "Wait, Goku. Don't get like that. This isn't the time." Goku smirked as he removed his jacket. "We're on top of a mountain." Off went Goku's shirt. He wasn't listening. "Listen, I understand how your Saiyan urges get….." he pulled off his belt. "I gave in before but I won't this time." His pants dropped to his ankles. "No! No! I absolutely refuse…!"

The top of the mountain provided one of the most beautiful sunsets ChiChi has ever seen. A giant dinosaur's leg cooked over a large fire. While the fire kept them warm, ChiChi felt extra heat on her nude skin as she snuggled with her husband.

"Beautiful sunset," ChiChi murmured as she stared at the brilliant red and orange colors of the sky.

"I know."

"We're not doing this again."

"I know."

"I mean it, Goku. I'm not letting this happen again."

"I know."

"Stop laughing!"

"Your lies are funny!"

Two dragon balls rest on ChiChi's lap as she and Goku returned home from their adventure. The dinosaurs scared her but ChiChi had to admit the adventure was fun. The second dragon ball was easier to find. It was in a lake. The lake was too deep for her to swim in so she let Goku get the last dragon ball. Resting her head on Goku's shoulder, ChiChi realized it's been years since she and Goku flew on Nimbus alone. It's been years since the two focused on them. As much as she wanted to return home, ChiChi wished their adventure went a little longer.

Stop being selfish ChiChi told herself. She couldn't think of only her and Goku. She had to include their son. Still it would be nice if Goku and I had more time alone together.

ChiChi hopped off Nimbus once it landed and entered their home. The dragon balls Goku collected were still on the kitchen table. ChiChi placed them all in a cloth and handed them to Goku who stood in the doorway. "Now you have all seven, you can return them to Dende and pick up Gohan."

He could return them but there wasn't a rush. They didn't need to use the dragon balls now. Goku placed them back on the table. "I'll do that but let's celebrate."

"Celebrate?"

"We got all seven dragon balls." Goku placed both hands on the table trapping ChiChi between the table and his body. "We should celebrate."

"Cel—" Goku's mouth covered ChiChi's in a kiss. ChiChi felt her body lean further and further until her back touched the table. ChiChi pushed Goku away. She broke the kiss but Goku didn't stop. He nibbled her lower lip before traveling south to open the clips of her cheongsam with his teeth. Dress opened, bra pushed up, one of Goku's his hands grabbed a breast while his mouth suckled the other. "Goku…." ChiChi panted. Her arms flailed on the table. It brushed against the cloth holding the dragon balls. It spilled open and the orange orbs spilled on the table and bounced on the floor.

ChiChi would've given in but seeing the four-star ball staring at her, ChiChi thought of their adventure, its purpose and how Goku had to get Gohan. That forced ChiChi to pushed Goku away. "Goku, stop. You have to pick up Gohan."

Goku slipped his hand in her pants. "But let's have fun first. You're starting to get wet. Oof!" ChiChi kneed him just below his rib cage. From the ire on her face, Goku knew he should stop. "Come on, ChiChi."

ChiChi sat up and fixed her clothes. "We can do this later. Return the dragon balls and get our son."

"You won't give in until I do that, huh?" ChiChi nodded. "Okay." Goku retrieved the dragon balls on the table and floor. ChiChi was suspicious. Goku never gave up that easily when it came to intimacy. Holding the dragon balls in his left arm Goku put two fingers to his forehead and winked at ChiChi. "I'll be back."

Vegeta stepped out of the Room of Spirit and Time frustrated. He used all the time available to him but he couldn't maintain his Super Saiyan form as Goku and Gohan did. It infuriated him how he only had a day to enjoy being superior than his rival in strength before he and his son succeeded him. It irritated Vegeta Goku surpassed him but for his son, a child, to do so, really pissed him off!

While Mr. Popo prepared the room for Trunks, Vegeta was questioned by his son from the future on how his training went. As usual, Vegeta ignored Trunks. That didn't stop Trunks from talking to him. A year with him, Trunks was very persistent. Though Vegeta never voiced it, he was proud of Trunks' determination. Vegeta tested his son in every way and Trunks did not give up. Trunks refused to be ignored from training he knew he was capable of. He had the fire and spirit of a Saiyan. Like him.

That alone allowed Vegeta to let Trunks train with him. It was an interesting experience. In some ways, it reminded Vegeta of his training with Nappa. Only this time he was the teacher and Trunks was his student.

Before Trunks began his training, he informed his father the dragon balls returned to Earth and Goku is collecting them all. Vegeta questioned Piccolo for more answers. "So, Kakarrot is searching for the dragon balls." Even Vegeta admitted it was ingenious of Goku to travel to the new Namek and ask one of their own to be Guardian of Earth.

"Yes. Son should collect them all in another day or two."

Goku materialized before Vegeta and Piccolo carrying the seven dragon balls. "I'm back!" Goku placed the dragon balls on the floor. "Dende, I got them!"

"That was quick," Piccolo remarked.

Goku rubbed the back of his neck chuckling. "Well, I don't wanna spend all the remaining days looking for them." Goku noticed Vegeta. "Ah, finally out of that room, Vegeta?" He sized him up. "I see you've gotten stronger, Vegeta, but Cell will still pulverize you."

"Fuck you!" Vegeta snapped back. It irritated the hell out of Vegeta seeing Goku all smug as he appears so calm and in control as a Super Saiyan. Vegeta tried for months to achieve what Goku and Gohan have but couldn't. How the fuck did he pull that off!

"At least you got them, Goku," Dende intervened worried of Vegeta's anger. He remembered Vegeta on Namek. He was told by Gohan Vegeta isn't evil anymore but Dende was still wary of the Saiyan. "Now we can revive everyone killed by Cell."

"Right," Goku agreed. Now that was taken care of, Goku was ready to go home. "Well, I'll see ya at the Cell Games."

"But, Dad," Gohan stopped him. "There's still five more days until the Cell Games. Are you sure you want me to stay here until then?"

"I told you to. Have fun with Dende. Remember," Goku reminded Gohan, "after the Cell Games, it's back to studying."

Unlike his Dad, Gohan worried. He couldn't have fun with the Cell Games approaching. "But you said we will do three days of training. We haven't trained at all."

"We don't need it." Goku put his hand on Gohan's shoulder. "Gohan, training for three days won't make us stronger than we are now. It's just a warmup." That didn't comfort his son. "I wouldn't be saying this if I didn't know we will win. You know that, don't you?"

"Yes." He didn't know his Dad's plan but Gohan had complete confidence in his Dad to win. It didn't ease Gohan's concerns about his mother. "Are you sure Mom will be okay with this?"

Goku grinned. "Don't worry about Mom. I'll talk to her."

"Okay." Gohan expected his mother to be angry but he trusted his Dad to handle her. "Well, what will you and Mom be doing?"

Goku grinned as he patted his son's head. "Leave that to me. We'll find something to do."

"All right, Dad. I'll see you in five days."

Goku waved at everyone grinning. "Bye everyone! See ya at the Cell Games!"

Goku disappeared leaving, Piccolo, Vegeta and Gohan stunned.

Arms crossed, Piccolo was suspicious. "He's oddly chipper."

"Yes," Vegeta was suspicious as well, "he is." He looked at Gohan with a raised eyebrow. "And he's leaving you here for the remaining days." He looked over at Dende. "Play with the Namek child while he's alone with his wife. Heh." Vegeta understood his rival's chipper behavior. With a shake of his head, Vegeta walked off. "Kakarrot is quite sly when he wants to be."

"Ugh!" Piccolo groaned knowing what Goku and his wife will be doing. "I'm glad I don't have to live there anymore."

Gohan stared at Vegeta and Piccolo walking off. He was completely baffled. "Huh?"

ChiChi knew Gohan will be hungry. Goku told her Mr. Popo was a good cook but his food didn't compare to hers. She moved around the kitchen gathering ingredients for curry when Goku materialized before her. Startled, food spilled on the floor. Three years and ChiChi was still getting used to this trick by her husband. She picked up the onions and carrots.

"You're back." ChiChi placed her dropped items on the counter. "Where's Gohan?" With her sharp tone, she expected Goku to look remorseful or slightly intimidated. Instead, Goku looked calm and confident. Why was he smiling?

"Gohan's on Kami's Temple. I told him to stay there until the Cell Games."

"You….." she sputtered, her temper rose. "Gohan was to come home after you dropped off the dragon balls. You agreed Gohan will come home!"

"I never said that. That's what you wanted. It's not what I want."

"Not what you want…." She repeated. "You mean you deliberately deceived me under this romantic gesture to spend time alone together?!"

Goku shrugged. "What's wrong with that?"

"What's wrong is you thinking it's right for Gohan stay there for the next five days! I want him here with us! I—" she paused. Goku didn't look scared. He didn't have his hands up pleadingly. He wasn't squirming. He looked lustful. Oh, boy. "Don't…." she shook her head. "Don't look at me like that."

As Goku confidently walked to ChiChi, she found herself stepping back until she felt her back against the kitchen sink. Her heart thudded in her chest as Goku was close to her but not touching. Smirking, he placed his hands on both sides of ChiChi. "There will be plenty of time to spend with Gohan after the fight." His voice. That voice. He didn't talk like that to her unless…. "For now, I wanna be with you."

His demeanor turned her face a deep shade of hot pink. Oh, she got away with yelling at Goku, even have him cowering before her; fooling everyone she controlled him and maybe she did to an extent but he… he always had the power. If he was serious about something, he got his way. If he wanted her, he got his way. When the Saiyan lust awakened in Goku, nothing stopped him and heaven help her, when Goku got this way, her body responded. She could feel the tingle between her legs, the heat, the first drop of moisture and throbbing in her breasts. It was as if Goku put a spell on her. Maybe he did. He was a Saiyan; not an Earthling. Goku could put a hand on her head and read her thoughts. Who knows what else he can do.

Goku removed his jacket. ChiChi held back a moan at Goku in his sleeveless white, tank shirt. Those ripples of muscles on his arms, the subtle flexing of his pectorals as he smiled at her. Oh, he meant business today.

Pressed against the sink she was mesmerized as Goku pulled her pants down. She should stop Goku; ask him why he kicked their son out of the house but she was falling under Goku's spell to obey and not question him. Pants off, ChiChi felt a hand slip under her dress, her lace panty falling down her hips, legs and pooling around her ankles. Goku only stared at her, wordlessly commanding her on what to do. She stepped out of them.

"Go…." She shuddered feeling fingers rub against her dampening sex. Heat stained her cheeks watching Goku slip those fingers in his mouth, sucking and tasting her essence that drenched those fingers. "Ah!" she gasped feeling those same wet fingers plunge inside her again faster this time. Her hands gripped the counter, her legs spread as Goku worked her faster. She could hear the wet sounds of Goku's fingers and her wet sex sloshing together. While she gasped and panted before him, Goku wore that same confident smirk as he took joy in the sweet torture he was unleashing on her.

"Ah!" ChiChi cried out, her hand gripped a muscled arm. Goku's fingers. Glowing Ki illuminated from them; that extra pulse of energy touched her sensitive nerves. "Hah….. mmm….." she panted against him.

Goku chuckled against her ear. "That's get you going, doesn't it?" ChiChi could only respond with shaky gasps and moans as Goku's soaked fingers plunge in and out of her. Goku's free hand illuminated before ChiChi's eyes. He gripped her left breast, unleashing a pleasured howl from ChiChi. His hot Ki burned her clothes until her pert flesh breast and hardened nipple was visible before his wicked eyes.

A nearly orgasmic moan oozed from ChiChi's lips as Goku suckled her breast hungrily. "Oh…. Oh…. Kakarrot….." her eyes rolled back. When he got like this, he wasn't the Goku she married and fell in love with. He was Kakarrot, the man who lied deep in her husband, who finally became free and bonded himself to her after his battle with Freeza. "Yes, Kakarrot!" Her head fell back. She was almost there! A little more… "More!" she begged for him; freely gave to him as he suckled faster and plunged harder, driving her to a potent release!

Suddenly, her wet sex gripped Goku's fingers as she came hard! Her body shuddered and spasm at the blessed release. Her breasts rose and fell rapidly, body slump against the counter as she recovered unaware at the sound of Goku's pants unzipping.

Her sex glazed eyes only focused on Goku's lustful face. She needed more. She gripped his tank shirt and yanked Goku to her. Her lips meshed with his, hungrily tasting him. Only the sudden slam of Goku's thick shaft in her dripping core broke the kiss.

Instead of grabbing the counter's edge, ChiChi's hands dug into Goku's muscled arms as she hung onto Goku who rapidly thrust into her, slapping his flesh against hers as he grunted. "Ah!" ChiChi groaned feeling Goku's constant pounding. ChiChi managed to get one leg around his hip while the other dangled off the floor due to the speed and strength Goku moved in her.

"Slow down…." ChiChi begged. "I …..ah! I…. want it….. last….I'm gonna…"

Goku wasn't gonna last much longer either with ChiChi tightening around him. It spurred him on faster in her. "I've been sick…. days. Almost…. died. A year… with Gohan... no…. relief…..." He was almost there. A few more whumps against ChiChi. He slapped his flesh against hers faster. "I'm gettin' it….. now… making…..up!"

Goku roared over her as he exploded. His seed quickly filled up ChiChi and spilled out, dripping down her legs and on the floor. He buried his face in her neck breathing heavily as his limp body leaned on hers.

"This was nice…." Goku heard ChiChi whisper against his ear. He felt her teeth tug the tender flesh. "Today we'll be together but tomorrow we'll pick up Gohan from Kami's Temple."

Maybe it was wrong. Maybe it was selfish but after spending a year with Gohan, Goku wanted to spend his remaining days before the games with ChiChi. As he carried ChiChi to their bedroom, Goku's mind was made up. These last days before the Cell Games will be about them.

ChiChi awakened in bed alone. She felt groggy as she sat up. It took her a moment to recall what happened. She remembered gathering ingredients for curry, expecting Gohan's return but only Goku came home. He told her Gohan will stay at Kami's Temple until the Cell Games. She got angry. Goku didn't. ChiChi got even angrier. Goku made love to her against the sink, carried her to their room and…..

ChiChi bolted out of bed. It was nighttime. How long were they in here? And where did Goku go? Clothes were scattered on the floor. ChiChi shook her head at what remained of her clothes. Sometimes Goku can't control himself when he's in the mood. ChiChi put on Goku's sleeveless white shirt. It was a little big as it hung off one shoulder and cut off at her upper thighs. She threw away her ruined clothes, dumped Goku's in the clothing basket and changed the sheets. The room smelled of sex so ChiChi opened the window. While fresh air breathed into their bedroom, ChiChi searched for her husband.

It wasn't hard to find Goku. The loud noises from the kitchen gave him away. She paused in the doorway when she found him. Goku was naked with only her apron to cover his body. ChiChi admired his cute firm butt as he dumped a pot of rice into a large bowl. The table was laden with several plates of food. The kitchen counter was covered in food stains and cooking pots. The floor was a mess with spilled food in different spots. Oh, yeah. Goku was cooking. It was a turn on and frustrating at the same time.

ChiChi grimaced at all the cleanup she will do later but there was a question she had to ask. "Are you cooking?" The last time Goku cooked for her, her arm was broken. It's been three years. ChiChi thought Goku forgot how to use a stove.

Goku flashed a big smile at ChiChi as he carried the rice bowl to the table. "Yup! Dinner's ready. Sit down."

ChiChi cautiously took a seat. Picking up her chopsticks, ChiChi inspected the food. The rice and vegetables were a little burnt but the fish was perfectly cooked. Ah, she realized. Goku cooked the fish outside.

Goku ate ravenously but ChiChi couldn't eat. She couldn't understand Goku's behavior. He kicked Gohan out of the house until the Cell Games. He deceived her he was bringing their son home and before she could argue with him on his decision, he ravished her in the kitchen and their bedroom for hours.

On his fourth plate, Goku noticed ChiChi wasn't eating. "Ain't ya hungry, ChiChi?"

Yes, but that could wait. "Why are you doing this?"

"Eating? 'Cause I'm hungry."

"Not eating. Cooking. Sending Gohan away. Why did you do it?"

"Don't worry about it, ChiChi. Let's eat." But ChiChi wouldn't. She put down her chopsticks. If ChiChi was angry, Goku could deal with that. He'll cheerfully smile and encourage ChiChi to eat but when she looked as if she will cry, it cut into Goku's heart. He couldn't deal with that. Goku put down his chopsticks. "Didn't you have fun hunting dragon balls? Didn't you like it was the two of us?"

She did. ChiChi enjoyed the time they spent together but they couldn't shirk their responsibilities as parents. "I understand why you wanted Gohan to spend time with Dende while we searched for the dragon balls but since Dende is living on Earth, Gohan has plenty of time to see him. Goku, I want us together."

"We'll do that after the Cell Games. We ain't gonna have time just for us except now."

ChiChi wasn't sure she heard right. "You mean that's why you sent Gohan away? You wanna spend time with me?"

Goku rather show it than say it but if this was the only way to calm ChiChi and get her to accept his decision…. "I spent nearly a year with Gohan in that room. It was great. I spent time with Gohan when I came back from Yardrat but Piccolo was here and it wasn't the same. It was great being with Gohan but when I was in that room, I thought about you and how we ain't done anything in a long time."

"Yeah," ChiChi agreed dully. "I think it was before you died we really spent time alone. Dad would watch Gohan for a few days while we celebrated our anniversary. There were a few date nights but since you died," ChiChi shrugged, "nothing." It bothered ChiChi she and Goku hadn't spent time alone together like they used to. They satisfied their physical needs when the urge rose. Some nights they spent it talking but the way Goku carried on these last years, ChiChi didn't think Goku felt the same. "I thought you were happier since you died. Before Raditz, you were getting bored. You were craving another fight and you got it fighting your brother, then Vegeta, Freeza, the Artificial Humans and now Cell."

ChiChi wiped away tears forming around her eyes. "For three years, it was you, Gohan and Piccolo. Our days were spent with you three talking about fighting and how much stronger you've gotten. It was always about fighting. It wasn't about what Gohan learned from his books, about you earning money from Mr. Olitz's farm, what you and Aki were doing, dinner with Dad, our family trips or us expanding our family. It was you, Gohan, Piccolo and training, training, training while I spent my days alone. Even my Dad hasn't come around as much anymore because of my decision to stay with you and Piccolo living with us. We made up but, Goku, I wasn't completely happy with our arrangement. You were and I felt like I was just a distraction so you didn't get bored in the early years of our marriage."

It was as if Raditz punched him in his stomach again. ChiChi's revelation of her inner pain these three years caught him off guard. When he returned from Yardrat, they talked a lot. It took a while but Goku thought things were good between them. When the training started, Goku did leave Gohan and Piccolo for an hour or two and spent it with ChiChi. Two years left him missing his wife intimately badly but over time the visits became lesser to none at all. Intimacy continued but at night.

Goku knew it didn't take her all day to clean the house and prepare food so Goku assumed Gyu-Mao visited. Goku knew things were strained between him and his father-in-law but he never suspected Gyu-Mao didn't because he didn't accept ChiChi's decision to stay with him and allow Piccolo to live with them but he should've. Gohan's his grandson and Gyu-Mao must've been angered Piccolo was living with them after all he did to their family. They visited Gyu-Mao's village for festivals, saw him on holidays and birthdays but mostly Goku and his family stayed on Mount Paouz. It wasn't until their talk after Gohan's party Goku felt the ice melt between them. After their fight, Goku accepted things were different between them but Goku never realized ChiChi's relationship with her father was in an almost similar place.

With Gyu-Mao staying away and ChiChi being alone, other things became clearer to Goku. No wonder ChiChi insisted he and Gohan took one day a week off from training. No wonder she insisted Goku and Gohan eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with her. No wonder she insisted Goku get his license again and take her on shopping trips. She was lonely, estranged from her father and finding ways to cope while he never noticed. How could he? Goku asked himself. Every day, ChiChi said goodbye and welcomed him and Gohan with a smile. Some days ChiChi got angry but that was typical of ChiChi. He assumed things were fine and they weren't. She buried her feelings like he did.

In their ten years of marriage, ChiChi became the only person to see Goku as himself. Unlike his friends, she knew when he was hiding things behind his smile. She knew when things really bothered him. Goku felt he failed as a husband not noticing these things in his wife.

"I'm sorry, ChiChi," Goku apologized. "I'm sorry you thought those bad things because of me. It's not true. I'm just selfish. I didn't notice things were bad between you and your Pops. It's my fault. It's always my fault." Once again, Goku thought of Bulma's words of bad things following him wherever he went.

Maybe Bulma is right. If it wasn't for me, Gohan wouldn't have been kidnapped. He wouldn't have been left alone for six months. ChiChi wouldn't have been alone for a year. ChiChi and her Pops had a good relationship and I ruined that. I'm always hurting the ones I care for the most.

"Your fault?" ChiChi questioned. "What are you talking about? What's your fault?"

"ChiChi," Goku enclosed his hands around hers. Gone was his cheerful smile. His face was hardened as if he was preparing for a grueling fight and his gaze was so tense ChiChi froze. "After the Cell Games, it'll be us and Gohan. Maybe another child." ChiChi smiled at that. "I haven't been a good husband to you. Let me try now. Let's fix this before Gohan comes home."

"You….. you wanna work on us and our issues?" More tears fell from her eyes but ChiChi sounded hopeful. "We've had issues for years, Goku. Can we really fix them in five days?"

"You know me," Goku smiled brightly at ChiChi. "I love a challenge and you know there's no stopping me when I want something." ChiChi's laugh lifted his spirits. He knew he was being arrogant but he was right. "We can do this, ChiChi, if we want to and I want to."

"I want to," ChiChi whispered. "I want it so much." ChiChi wrapped her arms around Goku's neck and kissed him. One kiss became two, then three, then four. Soon ChiChi found herself pulled from her chair to sitting on Goku's lap. The kisses intensified. She felt her legs parting by Goku's hand; her shirt rising over her hips. In between kisses, ChiChi reached under Goku's apron and grabbed his hardening penis. She stroked him hurriedly as she begged her husband, "Take me, Goku. Bedroom, this floor, this chair. I don't care. Just take me."

He took her in all three places.

Four days. That's all they had left now and with so little time, Goku was determined to make up for his mistakes. After breakfast, Goku and ChiChi hiked Mount Paouz to a training spot they visited in their youth. It was a hobby Goku and ChiChi did together before discovering her pregnancy.

"We've put this off forever," Goku twisted his waist as he warmed up. "But I'm glad we're finally doing this."

"You put this off because you had to become a Super Saiyan since that's your only chance at beating me."

Goku laughed. He loved this competitive side from ChiChi. She never stood a real chance to beat him in a fight but it never stopped ChiChi from smack talk.

ChiChi lunge forward and sideways as she stretched her legs. "You caught me off guard when you hit me after your return from Yardrat." She settled in her fighter's stance. Her hands were open, protecting herself and legs slightly crouched as she prepared to charge on him. "I'm ready for you now."

It was comforting for Goku ChiChi took one of his biggest regret as a husband with humor. It was further proof she had forgiven him. Goku stood unguarded as he always did against ChiChi. A low snarl of annoyance rolled from her throat. She hated he didn't take her seriously. "All right. Ready in three… two….."

As always, ChiChi attacked before he said, 'one.' She was faster and sharper in her strikes. After all these years, ChiChi took his advice to heart. If he was in his base form, he might have to put in some effort to dodge and block her attacks.

In one move, Goku ducked as ChiChi jumped and swung her leg mid-air to kick his head. Naturally, ChiChi missed but her foot was only half an inch from his face. ChiChi was never this close. He flipped again, deftly missing her leg sweep. It was during an attack where ChiChi leapt over him before missing a punch to his face Goku caught on to what ChiChi was doing. She was seducing him. In the past when they sparred, ChiChi wore pants with her cheongsam. Today, she wasn't. Her muscular legs were visible to his feasting eyes.

ChiChi wasn't wearing a bra either. Her breasts bounced more in her movements. All this was deliberate. As a Super Saiyan, his extra strong senses were heightened. ChiChi's natural scent was even more tempting to him. It was a welcomed challenge to see how long he can resist her before taking her and 'punishing' her for this little game.

To guard himself, Goku moved faster and blocked more aggressively to show ChiChi he was putting in some effort but not enough to tip her off he was on to her. As he grew more enthused with the sparring, ChiChi grew more frustrated. Her laughter and playfulness gave way to growls and murmured curses as reality set in her seduction wasn't working on him.

If only she knew!

"Rrrgh!" ChiChi growled after a missed punch. "I almost had you!"

No, but if she kept at this she will. ChiChi's frustration was arousing. It was getting harder to not grab her, pin her down and have his way with her.

Forget it, he decided. Why hold off on what they both wanted. Still, he had to be smart about this.

Goku lowered his arms. His defenseless behavior baffled ChiChi. "Are you quitting?"

"No. I want you to hit me."

ChiChi rolled her eyes. "You don't have to belittle me by letting me hit you, Goku. I know I can't do it without you going easy on me."

"I ain't belittling you. I wanna feel how strong you are."

"What?"

"I know ya improved but I wanna feel how much stronger ya gotten." He tapped his left cheek. "Come on. Hit me. Kick me. Throw your biggest Kamehameha Wave at me. Let me feel it."

ChiChi's eyes thinned and her suspicions rose. "Why?"

"I told you."

"You won't dodge out of the way?"

Goku shook his head. "Nope."

Maybe Goku was being helpful and she was being paranoid. He put effort in sparring with her so he must be impressed with her skills. Perhaps he was being honest and wanted to see how strong she is now. It was beneficial for her, too. Her striking Goku would tell her where she stood with her martial arts.

Goku gestured ChiChi to come at him. "Give me everything you got."

"I will," ChiChi promised. She grinned, her own excitement rising. Suddenly, ChiChi started bouncing, jumping up and down.

It's been years seeing this excitement on ChiChi's face. He recalled her being this way when he fought Piccolo. After a few impressive strikes at the start of the fight, ChiChi bubbled with excitement, encouraged Goku to pulverize Piccolo.

"Here goes!" ChiChi warned before speeding towards Goku again. With a high pitch yell, ChiChi struck Goku's fist with a strong punch. ChiChi followed with multiple kicks across his chest, stomach, back and more slaps across his face. She pulled back doing several backflips before jumping in the sky. Goku looked upward with anticipation at what was coming next: ChiChi's Kamehameha Wave.

Her movements have improved. As a husband, he was proud. As her teacher, he was disappointed at ChiChi's form. The ball of Ki growing in ChiChi's hands was powerful for her but ChiChi could've been better at forming it. Gohan was better at it but it wasn't fair to compare the two. They've trained exclusively for nearly a year. ChiChi hadn't gotten that treatment in a while.

Goku winced once ChiChi's Kamehameha Wave hit him at full impact. He could feel the energy behind the wave burn into his skin. It tickled. It didn't hurt like Gohan's Kamehameha Waves, but ChiChi's waves turned him on immensely.

ChiChi landed with a light tap on the ground. "How was that?"

Goku strolled to ChiChi. He could see drops of sweat on her face, her chest rising and falling with a little intensity, her nipples poking through her cheongsam and smell the sweet scent of her sex.

"You still got it, ChiChi, but your Kamehameha Wave is rusty."

"I know." ChiChi's eyes followed Goku as he circled her. She was not a wife now but an eager student wanting to impress her teacher. "It's been a while since I worked on it." She caught the reproving look in Goku's eyes. Goku can be playful but he was also a stern teacher when he needed to be. "My teacher," she fired back with slight venom in her voice, "hasn't been around to help me. He's bad at his job. He dumped me for a green guy and a little boy. I was left to figure things out on my own. My failings are his fault."

A sharp breath escaped her mouth as Goku pressed his body against her. His steel arm wrapped firmly around her waist. She could feel the hardness of his penis poking her back. "I'm a bad teacher?"

"Yes," she thrust her hips back as Goku rubbed against her backside. "Very bad."

"Perhaps," Goku whispered against her ear, "you're a bad student."

ChiChi shook her head. "Impossible. My father taught me and I became the strongest woman in the world. You teach me and I'm rusty. You're terrible." A moan filled her throat as her teacher nibbled her ear. "You touch me instead of teaching me."

"I can do both if I want."

ChiChi released a throaty laugh as his tongue licked the sweat on her neck. "It's impossible for you. You only have a one-track mind."

"I'll prove it." Goku released her suddenly but kept his body close. "Your kicks are weak. We live with dinosaurs, bears, wolves and mountain lions, ChiChi. You can't let your guard down with them. Your first strike has to be your only strike."

"All right. What do you want me to do?"

"Give me a side thrust kick."

ChiChi raised her left leg and kicked as instructed. She held her leg in the air. "Like this?"

Goku put his hand on her leg. He raised it an inch. "Can you hold it and your balance like this?"

"Yes."

"Can you go higher?"

"Maybe but it leaves me open."

"Ah, come on, ChiChi. You've spread your legs wider than this."

"Go—" ChiChi turned to hit him but Goku's arm around her waist held her in place.

"Don't lose your concentration."

"You were being lewd!" she scolded him.

"Sorry." Goku grinned apologetically even though he wasn't sorry at all. He released her. "Can you hold this pose?"

ChiChi exhaled carefully as she adjusted herself. "Yes." She raised her leg like Goku wanted. "Like this?"

Without her pants, ChiChi's sexy leg was on display from calf where her boots reach her leg to her upper thigh. "You're starting to wobble. Let me help." Goku touched her leg again. He removed her boot to examine the form of her foot. ChiChi wobbled so Goku's right arm got a firm hold around her waist. "If you kick at this angle, you will have a deeper impact on your opponent."

"Okay. Shall I practice a few kicks?"

Goku heard her but wasn't paying attention. His hand moved from its position on ChiChi's calf, up her body to grope a breast. He sniffed her before his tongue licked her sweaty neck again.

"Goku…." His tongue tickled her skin. "Stop that. I'm trying to concentrate on my form." She squirmed as he nibbled her ear. "You're being a bad teacher again."

"You're the bad student. What's the first thing I said when facing an opponent?"

First thing? That was hard to figure out with Goku touching her like this. "Um… uh…. never let your guard down?"

Uh-oh.

"Exactly." A tear ripped through the forests as ChiChi felt the cloth of her panties open and the slight chill of the morning air touch her exposed sex. Three fingers successfully found their way between her legs. ChiChi's right leg wobbled at the contact. To keep her balance, she wrapped her left leg behind Goku and secured herself against his back. "Sorry," he apologized. "I didn't mean to rip your—"

"Yes, you did," she countered in a silken whisper. "You always rip my clothes. Mmm," her eyes closed at the loving attention of Goku's fingers. "You're good tricking me like this."

"Mmm-hmm," he agreed as he pinched a firm nipple. "I'm a good a teacher. You're just a bad student."

"Maybe…." She panted, "but there is something I do remember you teaching me."

Goku's fingers freed the button of ChiChi's cheongsam. The flap opened exposing ChiChi's breasts. "What's that?"

"Let your opponent think they won." The heel of her foot jammed into Goku's lower back, aligning perfectly with his tail stub. As expected, Goku released ChiChi who used the brief moment to put several feet between her and Goku.

Damn! She got me!

It stung his pride how he fell for a well laid trap by his wife but he was also proud of his wife's skills. She looked so smug now, laughing wildly as she fixed her clothes. She was so prideful she got one over him.

"Now," ChiChi got in her fighter's stance, "can we continue with a real lesson and play later? I really wanna improve."

"Okay," Goku sauntered over. It won't be easy controlling his lust but he'll give ChiChi what she wants. "You still cheated," he told her. "Not wearing the pants. No bra. You set me up from the beginning."

ChiChi giggled, her laugh giving her deception away. "I did but you told me to use all my weapons to my advantage. Once again proving I'm a good student." She winked. "And you're a bad teacher."

"I'm gonna get you for this," Goku promised. As his eyes settled on, ChiChi's firm backside, he knew how.

Goku dipped his hand in the water. It was just right. It was hot enough for him but not too hot for ChiChi. Goku dusted his hands. It's been a while since he and ChiChi soaked in the cauldron together. ChiChi was reluctant to do it when Gohan got older. She feared their son would wake up and catch them. Only on the rare nights when Gyu-Mao kept Gohan at his castle, Goku could convince ChiChi. With them alone and Goku having a score to settle with ChiChi, he wasn't going to let this opportunity slip.

When he returned to the house, he spotted ChiChi on the sofa watching TV. He scratched his head, puzzled at the screen. "Why are we on TV?"

On the TV, Goku and ChiChi were cutting a large wedding cake. "It's our wedding video." Goku's amazement at the video wasn't a shock. They last viewed the video together when Gohan was a baby. When Goku was dead and Gohan was kidnapped, ChiChi viewed it multiple times alone. "Look at us. So young and no clue on the future for us." She chuckled noticing the flush on Goku's face as they cut the cake. "You're so cute when you blush."

Goku rubbed his neck awkwardly. "You were so close to me and making me feel a lot of strange things. I didn't understand it then."

"We've grown so much since then, especially you, Goku."

"I think I grew a few inches but you ain't grown at all, ChiChi."

"No," ChiChi shook her head. "I mean you grew up mentally and emotionally." She gestured to the screen where they were dancing. "Look at you, still struggling with your dance steps, still looking unsure with our marriage."

"I was sure," Goku spoke offended. ChiChi raised an eyebrow at him. "I didn't understand but I knew this is what I wanted." He pulled ChiChi to her feet. "And I'm not struggling with my steps now. Watch. I got better."

ChiChi laughed as one hand linked in his and the other rest on his shoulder. "What are we doing?"

"We're dancing," Goku twirled her mimicking himself on screen. On the television, he twirled too hard and almost released ChiChi. Goku's twirl in real time was perfect. "I'm smoother now."

"You are," ChiChi credited Goku for that. With a gentle yank, ChiChi twirled back in his arms. A light melodic hum of their wedding song played on her lips. Their moves were sharper and more in sync as they danced with their younger selves on screen. Then, Goku kept an uncomfortable space between him and ChiChi. Now, he held her close wanting to feel her body against his. "I love when you hold me close, Goku." She rests her head against his chest and listened to strong beat of his heart. "When's the last time we danced together, Goku?"

Goku's mind went blank. When was the last time? He was always forgetting stuff like this. It wasn't in the three years. Was it before he died? That was five years ago! As the seconds ticked, Goku panicked. ChiChi will get mad and not join him in cauldron if he didn't answer.

"It's okay, Goku," ChiChi whispered. "I know you don't remember."

At least she didn't sound mad. "So…. when was it?"

"Before you died." That didn't help. "When everything was wonderful for us. When we didn't have to revolve our lives around others. When I didn't have to wait a year for you and Gohan to come home. When I didn't have to wait a year for you to return from space. When we didn't have to put three years of our lives on hold for the world when we could've had a second child."

ChiChi's voice rose over the discourse but she wasn't angry. She was crying. Goku attempted to kiss ChiChi in hopes it will stop her tears but she pushed him away and ran out the room.

Crying on the bed, ChiChi heard the door open behind her; felt the bed slightly dip with Goku's weight. Only the feel of Goku's hand on her back prompted her cries to slowly die as she found her voice to speak.

"You're gonna die at the Cell Games, aren't you?"

There was a possibility it could happen but as long as Gohan…..

ChiChi sat up. Her soft worried gaze left his own voice locked in this throat. "You don't have to say yes. You don't have to say no. I thought about this. These days before the Cell Games could be the final days of our lives. I want you and Gohan to be with me but you don't want that."

"ChiChi….."

"Let me finish," ChiChi cut him off. "You spent a year with Gohan in that room and now you're spending these days with me. We need this but something's not right. I feel it. You weren't like this before you faced those Artificial Humans." Goku shook his head to deny her but ChiChi stopped him again. "I know you. You always feel you can win but this is the first time there's a sliver of doubt in you. Something is different about this fight. Something I can't pinpoint and that has you nervous."

Goku opened his mouth in what ChiChi suspected will be a white lie. "Don't say anything, Goku. It won't be the truth. You're just gonna hide everything behind that smile of yours. Maybe one day you'll tell me the truth but it won't be now." Silence followed as ChiChi waited for Goku to speak. This was his chance to deny her; tell her she's wrong but his silence was only confirmation she was right. Oh, Goku, is it that bad you can't tell me? She squeezed his hand gently. "I've said what I wanted to say and I won't say anymore. Guess I'll wait and worry like I always do."

Tell her. Tell her about your heart. Tell her about Gohan fighting Cell. "Chi…" his throat locked up. "I…" He balled his fists frustrated. I can't tell her now. After the games. I'll do it after the games. I promise.

The pain on Goku's face broke her heart. Something really bothered him. ChiChi wanted nothing more than to alleviate that. Talking would help but for now the best way to help Goku is move on to another topic. "So," she smiled while playing with the spiky bangs of his hair, "what were you doing outside?"

He knew what she was doing and he appreciated it. I promise to tell you, ChiChi. "Getting the cauldron ready." ChiChi's playful roll of her eyes brought a smile to his face. "After your lessons today, it's a good way to relax."

"Whenever Gohan's away, you don't waste any moment getting that cauldron out. All right," ChiChi gave in as she began undressing. "We'll play in the cauldron." She winked at him. "But no backdoor tonight." ChiChi didn't know all of what went on in Goku's head, but when it came to intimacy she knew what he wanted and his eyes have been focused on her backside all day. The wide eye shock at her telepathy followed by his crossed arms pouting was amusing to ChiChi. "Not unless you can catch me."

With that, ChiChi winked and sprinted for the door.

Goku caught ChiChi when she had one foot out the door.

Hours after satisfying their bodies in the cauldron and the bedroom, sleep came for ChiChi. She nestled close to her husband, sated in a deep sleep land of no worries of her husband and son fighting in a battle for their future. From the smile on her face, she was probably dreaming of happier times in their past.

Goku couldn't sleep. His physical interlude with ChiChi was a wonderful distraction but with that sated and ChiChi asleep, his thoughts drifted to earlier where he almost told her what worried him about the impending battle and what bothered him after he confronted Cell.

"So, you did it. This is your complete form."

Cell was stronger than him before he entered the Room of Spirit and Time. Even with Vegeta and Trunks' enhanced strength, Goku still felt there was a possibility of Cell reaching perfect form, but even he didn't suspect Cell to become this powerful.

'Damn. Cell's Ki is phenomenal. No wonder Vegeta and Trunks couldn't stop him. Even in his relaxed state, he's too much for them.'

And himself, too. His Ki was higher than Cell's now but if Cell raised it, he will easily overwhelm him. Goku hadn't felt so outmatch since facing his brother. Even when Freeza was stronger than him, Goku still believed he could beat him. With Cell, it was no contest. There was no way he could beat him. There was only one hope.

Gohan. Goku saw Gohan's power. He felt it and it was greater than Cell's right now. Only problem is Goku felt that Ki when Gohan was angry. In his relaxed state now as a Super Saiyan, Gohan didn't reach Cell's level.

'Gohan has the power but not the experience or battle knowledge. Cell has my, Vegeta and even Freeza's battle prowess. He'll need to see Cell's skills before he can strategize a way to beat him.'

"I'll fight in your tournament… if you don't kill anybody else until then. Got it?"

Cell smirked at Goku. "Heh. It should be a good fight."

It will be a good fight but it won't be one any expects. Goku knew everyone will be stunned when he tells them Gohan will fight Cell. He can only imagine their reaction when he quits. Goku wasn't looking forward to doing that either. He never quit a fight but he will this time. He'll go first; fight Cell long enough for Gohan to study Cell's abilities, quit and let Gohan finish him.

All Gohan has to do is get mad and channel his rage against Cell. He does that and there's nothing to worry about.

Except Gohan's anger needs to be triggered. Even in that room, he couldn't just tap into it like me. I don't know if another year in that room would be enough. Maybe I should've tried but I was tired of being in that room and Gohan's so strong, I didn't think I needed to go back after I measured Cell.

But if Gohan can't get angry like he should, what if it's my death that does it? I can't come back again. The dragon balls can't revive anyone who died twice. That's why Krillin's death was so hard to take.

I could come back. Those Namek dragon balls brought back Krillin and Chaozu but should I come back? My brother. Freeza. The Artificial Humans. Cell. It's because of me.

The family portrait hung on the wall across from the bed. He couldn't see Gohan's face in the darkness but in his mind Goku saw his smile. Despite all that has happened to him, Gohan still remained happy and innocent in some ways. Goku felt some guilt he took away some of his innocence.

I wanted Gohan to know how to fight but I wanted him to have a peaceful upbringing like ChiChi wanted, too. We both had rough childhoods. I lost Grandpa. Gyu-Mao was a bad guy and ChiChi saw him do a lot of bad things. Because of me, Gohan's had a rough childhood, too. At least after Cell, Gohan can go back to having a normal childhood. That'll be good except…..

Goku rolled on his side to ChiChi. What if I have to die so Gohan and ChiChi can live in peace? It'll be years before we see each other. Goku embraced ChiChi. Gingerly, he molded her body against his. I don't want to die but I will to keep you safe.

"Whooo! Go, Nimbus, go!"

Hollers and laughs echoed in the sky as Nimbus looped twice with its occupants creating two cursive ls behind a stream of yellow cloud dust. ChiChi's heart leapt in her throat as Nimbus dived. It was a little scary diving so fast but Goku's arms around her was extra assurance she was safe.

Nimbus surfed the ocean water splattering water on its occupants.

"Ah, it tickles," ChiChi giggled between splashes.

Nimbus kept surfing until it reached the sandy beach. Goku and ChiChi stepped off the fluffy cloud. "Thank you, Nimbus." ChiChi patted the cloud gratefully before it flew off.

It was ChiChi's idea to come here. After two days at home, ChiChi wanted to get out of the house. Goku let her choose where and she decided here; the island once owned by Commander Blue of the Red Ribbon Army. ChiChi, Gohan and Goku visited the island not long before Gohan's fourth birthday.

While ChiChi removed her shoes on the beach, Goku strolled the island. Not much vegetation growth. The bases were still standing but probably dusty as ChiChi would say. Goku remembered he and ChiChi cleaned out the base homes. Since the place was abandoned, ChiChi talked of them using the place for money but nothing became of that idea. "Looks the same," Goku commented. "When's the last time we came here?"

ChiChi rolled up the pants of her cheongsam. "Not long before Gohan's fourth birthday."

Goku whistled. "That long."

"With you dying and Gohan kidnapped and then you not returning for another year and your training…." ChiChi shrugged as she walked towards the ocean, "There wasn't time to visit."

Goku scratched the back of his head thinking. "Didn't you wanna do something about this place?" When ChiChi didn't answer, he turned. ChiChi played with the ocean waters rushing up the beach and covering her lower legs. Her laughs and squeals were so carefree and childlike as she played with the water.

It's been a while ChiChi looked this happy.

Years ago, they came upon a deserted beach like this one. ChiChi coaxed him in race, bragging she could beat him. Goku knew that wasn't possible. ChiChi was being flirty and after several attempts at this, Goku realized this was ChiChi's way of being playful with him. He flirted back in his own way threatening to dump her in the water when he won.

Goku gave ChiChi a head start. He didn't move until ChiChi was a quarter away from the finish line. He still remembered ChiChi's screams and laughs as Goku gathered her in his arms, spun her around before tossing her over his shoulders. ChiChi pressed her fingers in his tail stub. His legs buckled enough for ChiChi to break free and run from him. Watching ChiChi run stirred another feeling in him. He chased her, grabbed her easily but instead of carrying her in the ocean, he kissed her. Clothes fell apart and later that evening both spent an annoying abundance of time getting sand out of every crevice of their bodies.

It was a fun trip for them and Goku never forgot how pretty ChiChi's face lit up on the beach. It was beautiful then and now.

Unaware of her husband's thoughts, ChiChi waved Goku over to join her. "Come play in the water with me, Goku."

Goku strolled to her with his hands in his pockets. He repeated his question. "Didn't you wanna do something about this place?"

ChiChi grabbed his hand and walked with him along the beach. "No one's ever claimed this island after the Red Ribbon Army's defeat. I thought we could get rid of bases, put up some capsule homes and rent it. It is in a nice isolated spot for couples and families. The weather's great here. Maybe we can seriously think about doing that after the Cell Games."

Life after the Cell Games. Goku hoped that was possible. ChiChi's idea reminded Goku of his deal with ChiChi. "So, what type of job should I get after the Cell Games?"

ChiChi laughed at the surprising question. Goku asking her about work? He was up to something. "You wanna talk about this? You? I thought you would be trying to find a way out of that since I let you train Gohan."

"I told ya I will. You told me to make Gohan as strong as possible. I did that. You said after the Cell Games are over you want me to get a job. So, what do ya want me to do?"

"I…. I don't know. An office job for you is out of the question." ChiChi thought for a moment. "You were always good working on Mr. Olitz's farm. There's plenty of land around Mount Paouz. Maybe we can use some it for a farm of our own."

"A farm?" Him? A farmer? Goku shrugged. At least it was something physical.

"It'll keep you occupied and it'll be good for us to make money on our own instead of depending on Dad. He's taken care of us financially since you died. It's time we start paying him back and be independent again."

A farmer. Goku pictured himself in a large field wearing overalls and a straw hat. From a fighter to a farmer. Life will definitely be different after Cell.

The rain poured outside. The sound of thunder roared over the capsule base. Goku eyed the ceiling. This one didn't have leaks but the kitchen did. ChiChi thought if they rent this island, they will have to get new capsule homes. These will have to be tossed. In some parts, the capsule base held up but in others it showed its age from abandoned upkeep over the years.

This bedroom was fine. Years ago, when he brought ChiChi and Gohan, ChiChi cleaned the room and replaced the futon for them to sleep in. Then, Goku and ChiChi couldn't do anything with Gohan sharing the bed, but now Goku's anticipation grew with how this night will go. He patiently waited in bed for ChiChi. He knew intimacy will happen tonight but ChiChi told him she had to prepare herself. That always meant ChiChi will emerge wearing lingerie.

Goku didn't understand ChiChi's need to wear lingerie. He liked it on her but it will end up on the floor or hang off a post of the bed. He didn't understand the purpose of wearing clothes before intimacy. He wore nothing under the sheets.

He turned his head at the flick of the light switch and ChiChi's emergence from the bathroom. She wore a light blue colored robe. It was short and gave him an eyeful of her legs. The robe looked like the soft kind of clothing that glided off the bed when removed.

When ChiChi got in bed, she straddled Goku. She sat on his lap with only the thin bedsheet keeping him from touching her. ChiChi's smile was playful and Goku's face lit up as he felt ChiChi wasn't wearing anything under the robe.

"I want to play a game first."

Goku grinned. He was always up for games. "What game?"

"You can look," ChiChi opened her robe, "but you can't touch."

As Goku stared at ChiChi's lovely, nude body, he frowned at the idea of the game. "That doesn't sound like a fun game."

"It is," ChiChi moved closer. Her breasts brushed against his chest. She rubbed her face against Goku's with her nose brushing his and her tongue caressing his lower lip. "It's a game to show how strong your will is. I kiss you and you have to refrain from touching me." Showing what she meant, ChiChi bit Goku's lower lip playfully before moving in for a full-on kiss. Goku remained still allowing ChiChi to play her game. He did what she wanted and not touch but as ChiChi's breasts continued to rub against him; her hand squeezed a muscled pec, Goku felt the temptation to touch ChiChi rising. He almost forgot the rules of the game before ChiChi smartly pulled away. "See?"

Goku nodded slowly. He could win this game. His will was strong but he had to ask, "How long do you wanna play this game?"

"Losing control already?" she teased him as she pulled two straps from the pockets of her robe. "I want to create incentive you don't touch me."

Goku eyed the two straps of cloth confused before shifting his eyes to ChiChi. "That's not gonna stop if I wanna touch you, ChiChi."

ChiChi grabbed one strap, Goku's right wrist and proceeded to tie him to bedframe. "I know but let's see how strong your will is. How badly do you not want to lose and have me gloat?" She tied the final knot. "

How does it feel?"

"Flimsy."

"Everything's flimsy with you, especially when you're in your monster form."

As ChiChi moved to tie his left wrist to the bedframe, Goku's eyes focused on ChiChi's butt. She positioned herself right in front of him. Flashes of the other night where he squeezed those sexy hips as he pummeled her backside filled his mind. With her legs parted, her lovely scent taunted his sensitive nose. Out of instinct, Goku's right hand moved to touch her but alas it was tied. He almost lost the game and they haven't started. This might be harder than he thought.

"Ready?"

Goku pulled his restraints. He can do this. "I can handle it."

"We'll see."

The teasing tone in ChiChi's voice awakened an uneasiness in the pit of his stomach. When ChiChi moved to kiss him, he turned his head away slightly. "Wait. What happens if I lose?"

"Then no intimacy until after the Cell Games."

No intimacy?! "That's not fair!"

ChiChi tapped his nose. "Life's not fair."

Goku wanted to protest but ChiChi silenced him with her lips. Her wonderful scent filled his nostrils as her tongue slipped in his mouth. He gripped his fists as he resisted pulling his soft restraints. He jerked forward as her lips pulled away from him. She winked and blew him a kiss.

She was enjoying this too much! ChiChi came close again. Goku thought ChiChi will kiss him but she nibbled an ear while the nails of her hand gently scrapped over his chest. Her lips trailed kisses down his neck before the sharp edges of her teeth bit into his skin. Goku's throaty groan brought a fresh wave of moisture between her legs. It stained the sheets where her body rubbed against Goku's rising shaft.

"ChiChi….." he groaned feeling ChiChi give his other ear the same treatment.

ChiChi eyed Goku's restraints. His hands were balled in tight fists. This pleased her. She continued moving her lips down his chest. A tongue licked his nipple while suckling his breast. A sharp hand smacking the other one jerked his body forward. His chest heaved as she switched breasts. Goku gazed at the ceiling to calm himself. He could not lose! His idea didn't last long since ChiChi brought his lips to hers for another steamy kiss. She resumed her southern seduction by nibbling and sucking the muscles of his stomach. The deepening flush on Goku's cheeks left her giggling.

"You always turn red when you're touched like this." ChiChi's fingers slipped behind his back and caressed his stub. Goku shuddered under her touch. "You like that, don't you?"

A growl rolled from his throat. "You're not playing fair, ChiChi."

"As if you do with your Saiyan lust on my frail human body." ChiChi pulled back the sheets and exposed Goku's thick shaft to her hungry eyes and mouth. Grabbing the base, ChiChi gave Goku a quick rub to firm him up faster. "I always love how smooth and hot you feel." Goku groaned and thrust upward in her hand. Drops of liquid sprinkled on her fingers. As much fun it was stroking him this way, there were other things she wanted to do. She teased him licking his wet tip before diving in and taking Goku completely in her mouth.

"Ngh!" One eyed closed at the feeling but one remained opened as he watched ChiChi dip her head up and down in quick succession as she suckled him. Her hair spilled forward caressing the skin on the apex of his legs. It tickled but it was frustrating ChiChi's hair hid her bobbing face. He loved watching ChiChi suck him. ChiChi remembered this, too, since she paused while her mouth squeezed his tip, pushed her hair out of the way and resumed bobbing her head up and down on him.

I ain't gonna last much longer. Goku's folded fists tugged his restraints. He couldn't break them or he'll lose the game but he wanted so badly to touch ChiChi. He wanted to run his fingers in her hair; push her further down so she can take him deeply in her warm, wet mouth. Almost there. Almost…..

Cool air of the room suddenly touched his erect penis. Goku stared wide eyed as ChiChi's mouth moved further and further from him. He was almost there and she stops?! "Wait. Why did you stop?"

"It's time for my fun." ChiChi positioned herself over Goku. Her sly gaze met his as she slowly lowered herself on him. Just as she was going to give Goku some relief, she taunted him. ChiChi lowered herself an inch, rose and pulled herself out of him. She did it again, pushing down another inch before pulling up.

"This ain't funny," Goku growled. His arms jerked forward. If only the price for losing wasn't so high!

"It is to me. Mmmm," she moaned as three inches were buried in her before she pulled out again. Her breasts bounced in front of him provocatively as she dived down burying four inches in her. "So many more inches to go. Will you last, Goku?"

A crackling sound touched her ears. ChiChi thought the sound came from the soft roars of thunder outside. It wasn't. This was closer and seeing cracks sprinkle from the bed's headboard alerted her Goku was the source. His patience was wearing thin. His normally relaxed face was now a man on the verge of losing his patience. He was getting angry. It was a rare occurrence but ChiChi knew her husband can get angry. She knew it happened on the battlefield. Poor Gohan confessed his shock and actual fear of seeing it but when that battlefield was the privacy of a bedroom, it had a whole new meaning.

And it sent a delicious, wicked pleasure down her spine.

"Enough games, ChiChi."

Oooo, that voice. When he got angry, when he commanded her, she could feel a fresh sploosh of moisture build between her legs. How does he do this to her?

As if under a spell, ChiChi fell to his will. Her nails dug into his chest as she lowered herself fully on him. Her head fell back at the wonderful sensation shooting through her. It was simultaneous as the loud clap of thunder and flash of lightning outside.

After a few blinks, ChiChi realized she didn't black out but the lights in the room did. The room was completely dark.

"What….." ChiChi looked around. "Why is it dark?" Light flickered in the room but only from the sparks of lightning coming through the window. "Oh, the storm must've knocked the lights out." ChiChi looked away from the window to Goku. It was dark and she couldn't see his face but she knew he was watching her. "There should be some candles here."

ChiChi pulled out of Goku. Before she could climb out of bed, the room burst into a bright light. ChiChi shielded her eyes at the sudden burst. When she opened them, Goku was glowing and the cloth restraints were melting from Goku's wrists.

"What are you doing?"

"I figured the game was over since the lights went out." Smirking, Goku grabbed ChiChi and yanked her to him. Her naked body sprawled over his. "And since I can light up the room, I'll make the rules." With a yelp, ChiChi's back suddenly pressed against the sheets with Goku straddling her. He grabbed her flimsy robe and ripped off two long pieces of cloths. Goku grabbed an arm and as ChiChi saw her wrist being tied to the bed, she fought back.

"Oh, no, you don't!"

ChiChi freed herself but before she could roll away, Goku grabbed both her wrists in one hand and raised them over her head. Goku leered over her. "You're breaking the rules, ChiChi." He tapped her nose with his free hand. "That means I have to punish you."

"No, Goku," ChiChi protested as Goku grabbed the cloths again and tied her to bedframe. "I didn't say we can play like this." Goku's grin was wicked as his hand illuminated. That glowing hand. ChiChi knew what that did to her. Her own body grew wetter by anticipation. "Goku… I was just kidding before." His fingers edged closer. "Goku, you know I have to be like that in intimacy because you're stronger than me. I need the advantage. I need..." The rest was cut off by a scream as Goku's fingers plunged into her slick heat. The sparkling energy pulsing from Goku's hands touched the multiple, sensitive nerves of ChiChi's core.

While ChiChi shrieked, moaned and squirmed from Goku's illuminating fingers, Goku's own breath grew harsh as his cock tightened at ChiChi's physical reaction to the sensations created by his hot fingers. He released his own moan as ChiChi's hot and tight body clenched around his fingers. In and out two fingers plunged and stroked inside ChiChi. A third finger had ChiChi arching her back and her hips bouncing off the bed as her body convulsed in an orgasm.

While ChiChi recovered, Goku removed the restraints around ChiChi's wrists. He couldn't hold back anymore. He shifted his hips until his tip met her damp opening. With a hard thrust, he pushed himself inside.

"I'm a monster," he grunted. "My Saiyan lust is too much for your 'frail human body,' he pulled out and slammed into her again. "Is this too much?" His hard flesh slapped hers again. "Is this?"

"Never," her erotic snarl had his penis swelling even more in ChiChi. Her eager body bounced with him to match his thrusts. "Gimme more!" His hands fisted the sheets, her legs wrapped over his hips as he rapidly pushed in and out of her welcoming body.

"I am your wife. I can take whatever you can give me." Her arm wrapped around Goku's neck as ChiChi pulled him in for a kiss. Her tongue dueled with his while his lower body pounded against hers; the futon squeaked and bed frame shook. "Goku," she moaned as need for air ended the heavy and lustful kiss. "Turn me around. Take me hard and fast. I need it deeper."

Not needing to be told twice, Goku pulled out and rolled ChiChi over. He knelt behind her as ChiChi rocked back and forth for him in excitement. With her cute butt wiggling at him, she looked over her shoulder in such a provocative way, his already swelling and tight penis almost spilled.

He exhaled several calming breaths to relax. Feeling in control, Goku grabbed her hips but instead of giving ChiChi what he wanted, he teased her by rubbing his thick shaft between her cheeks. ChiChi giggled at the light slap against her right cheek. "Stop teasing. You already had fun there."

"I know," he muttered with his aching cock positioned to plunge where ChiChi wanted. "But it's so much fun to tease you."

He easily slipped inside. ChiChi threw her head back at the sweet, deep invasion. He felt huge and hard and thought he was in control. That's why ChiChi squeezed him. Hard.

"Damn!" He's trying to maintain some control and ChiChi's trying to get him to splurt before he's ready. "I'm gonna spill too soon if you keep doing this."

"Stop teasing and give it to me!" she ordered him. "I wanna come again…." She desperately wanted to experience that sweet pleasure again. "Ride me….."

Goku plunged deep, rocking with a steady rhythm before the needs of both their flesh drove him to press harder and faster against ChiChi. With all the teasing and taunting, she gave him earlier, he was ready to burst but he wanted ChiChi to reach her peak first. And dammit, she needed more payback for earlier. His hands slipped around her hips until his sparkling fingers found her slippery folds to tap against her clit.

"Ah," she shrieked. "You sneak!" ChiChi shoved back until his balls slapped her wetness. Together, with her cries and his grunts they rode the wild wave they created together; each pushing the other on for the feverish need for release. "Cheater!" ChiChi cursed as Goku's glowing hand had her cresting first. Goku's victory was short lived as the tight squeezing of ChiChi's orgasm had him convulsing while he spilled inside her.

ChiChi slumped forward as her sweaty body collapsed on the sheets. Goku's slick, hot body fell on hers while still joined with her. She could feel Goku's warm liquid overflowing from her and dripping down her thighs. His heavy breath tickled against her shoulder as ChiChi panted heavily under him. The glow surrounding Goku faded to bring darkness to the room once more.

"That was fun," Goku said once he caught his breath. "Let's do it again."

"You lost," ChiChi told him. "I didn't say the game was over if the lights go out."

"You didn't say it wouldn't be over either," Goku cheekily retorted.

That was true. She felt his hand caressing her hips again. "I should punish you with no intimacy until after your fight." Goku's hand immediately froze. "But….." she drawled, "that would be punishing myself, too." The hand resumed moving again.

"So, we can do it again?"

ChiChi giggled. Goku was eager but so was she. Like his Saiyan lust awakening, her human lust was awakening, too, and it craved her husband. "Yes… but I get to ride you this time."

The last day before the Cell Games was a calm one. After breakfast, Goku and ChiChi hiked around Mount Paouz. They held hands as they walk the land they've lived together on for ten years. There was plenty of reminiscing as they recall memories of them as newlyweds, as young parents and a family trying to put their life together.

For lunch, they had a picnic where they had their first meal as a married couple.

For dinner, ChiChi created an intimate candlelit dinner with all of Goku's favorite dishes. Goku was sadly more interested in the food than the romantic atmosphere.

After dinner, Goku laid on a massage table. While the muscles and limbs of his body was tended to by his wife, his eyes were on the television of Mr. Satan bragging he will defeat Cell.

"Another idiot," ChiChi sighed as her strong fingers penetrated Goku's thick skin. "Is he really gonna show up?"

"Looks like it."

"He's gonna die."

"Nah. No one's dying. Could you move lower?" his eyes closed feeling ChiChi's fingers rub his lower back. "Right there. That's the spot."

"I hope no one dies. There's been enough death. What the world needs right now is peace. It hasn't been peaceful for three years."

"It has been peaceful. Just not for us. Me, Gohan, Piccolo and the rest have been training for this day while the world carried on."

"Yeah." ChiChi hated that. "Good?" she asked of his back. Goku nodded. "Roll on your back." Once he did so, ChiChi picked up Goku's left leg and brought it to his chest and away, contracting his hip muscles. When Goku was in the hospital, ChiChi was told of therapy Goku will need. Before Goku left and while she waited on his return, she read many chiropractic books and took a few private classes. Goku insisted he was fine when he returned after Yardrat but ChiChi insisted on these massages as she thought it was beneficial for him as long as he continued his martial arts. Goku obliged and actually enjoyed them. It was an intimate, bonding experience for them.

With his hip twisted, ChiChi applied more pressure as she leaned her body against him. "Does it bother you they forgot you?"

"Who forgot me?"

"The world. Other side." Goku rolled on his right side. ChiChi grabbed his leg, twisted his hip and applied the pressure with her body. "Seem a little stiff here, Goku." Grabbing her activator adjusting tool, ChiChi applied it to Goku's lower right side.

"Why did you say the world's forgotten me?"

ChiChi gestured to Mr. Satan laughing on the television. "The world's praising that loudmouth. All he's done is rip telephone books, punch a hole in a bus and people believe he can kill Cell when he wiped out the world's army. It's like the world is in denial and is desperately grasping at something. The world's completely forgotten about your fight against Piccolo and his father."

That was true but Goku didn't care about them and had no concerns for Mr. Satan. After tomorrow, they'll never hear about him again.

"After the fight against Piccolo, you were a celebrity. The few times we went out to places, people offered you a free meal." She chuckled at the memory of the owners when they saw how much food Goku consumed. "They didn't offer a second free meal." She lowered his leg. "Done. How do you feel?"

"Could you get my neck again?" He sighed feeling ChiChi's fingers massage up and down his neck and rolling it in gentle circles to get any tension out. "I don't care they forgot me, ChiChi."

Goku didn't care but it bothered ChiChi. "It's not only that. You didn't save the world once, Goku. You saved it multiple times. You defeated the Red Ribbon Army. You stopped King Piccolo and Piccolo. You stopped Vegeta and Nappa-"

"Krillin and Gohan helped me with that."

Finished with her massage, ChiChi walked around the massage table until she faced Goku. She turned his head left and right. She didn't feel any tension or stiffness. "The point is you put your life on the line for billions and the world forgot. It's as if they don't appreciate what you did or what you're doing now." The arrogant Mr. Satan gloated of his strength after he karate chops a stack of bricks. Disgusted, ChiChi grabbed the remote and turned the television off. "They're praising that fool and not asking about you."

He wondered why ChiChi was so bothered about this. "I don't care about that. You shouldn't either."

"I can't help it. What if you beat Cell and you die or Gohan's killed in the crossfire?" The horrifying image of the death of her family made her sick. "I can't deal with that. I can't handle that."

"No one's dying, ChiChi. We have the dragon balls, remember? That's why I got a new Kami."

That calmed ChiChi. A little. "Oh. Well… I guess you have a point. You told me how upset you were when Freeza killed Krillin. It's horrific he was killed but you knew or you thought at time he couldn't come back because he was revived once." ChiChi touched his chest where Piccolo mortally wounded him. "You've been revived, too. I guess I'm scared you can't come back, but with Dende as the new Kami, we don't have to worry about that, do we? That was the old Kami's rule. Dende changed it so two wishes can be made instead of one. He must've changed it so you can be revived if you already died again, too."

So, she knew he couldn't come back if he dies again. Still, ChiChi was wrong. Dende did say two wishes can be granted instead of one but he never said one can be revived if they already died. Goku noticed Dende never said that either. It was critical so it left him thinking it wasn't possible and a second death was final. Goku knew he couldn't tell ChiChi this or she'll worry even more about tomorrow.

"See, ChiChi? You're worried over nothing."

"I guess I am but it doesn't mean I want you to die. I don't want you or Gohan to die. If I lost you two again, I'll be…" ChiChi struggled to hold back her tears. "I don't want that feeling of being alone again after you died and Gohan was taken from me. I can't go through that again, Goku. I won't make it. I don't know how the me in Trunks' timeline dealt with you and Gohan's death. I just know it'll kill me."

"You won't be alone, ChiChi. I promise you. No matter what, you won't be alone."

"That's easy for you to say, but don't make promises you can't keep, Goku."

He touched ChiChi's chin. He forced her to look at him. "This is a promise I will keep." ChiChi couldn't smile so Goku smiled for both of them. "Tomorrow at this time me and Gohan will be home. You're gonna say, 'Now that the fight with Cell is over, it's time for you to get a job, Goku, and stop interfering in Gohan's dreams of being a scholar! I held up my part of the bargain. It's time for you to hold up yours.'"

ChiChi half rolled her eyes at her husband mimicking her voice. "I don't sound like that."

"Yes, you do."

"And I wouldn't say that."

"What would you say?"

ChiChi briefly thought of an answer. Her lips turned up in a sly smile. "I would say," ChiChi wrapped her arms around Goku's neck, "I'm glad my husband and son are alive. I'm glad this fighting is over so we can finally get back to our lives. We can do what we want now."

Goku's arms settled around ChiChi's waist. ChiChi was getting in that playful mood again. "And what's that?"

"You getting a job." Goku's laugh brought a bigger smile to her face. "Gohan resuming a normal childhood. I want to enroll him in school again. I want it to be the three of us for a while. No Piccolo living with us. Just you, me and Gohan. I want us to visit my Dad regularly again. I want us to travel as a family again and I want us to finally, finally work on expanding our family." ChiChi nuzzled her face against his affectionately. "It's time, Goku. It's time."

Five days and five nights Goku and ChiChi engaged in intimacy. Loud, in the bedroom, outside the bedroom and home. There were no restrictions between them on what they did or where they did it. For ChiChi, it was wild, exciting and loving. Goku was commanding; playful; sensual and revealing sides she only saw.

Tonight, the night before the Cell Games, Goku was very tender. He took his time kissing her lips, cheeks and neck. His hands squeezed, kissed and suckled her willing breasts. His bites were playful and loving as he marked her. She took care of him in a previous session and when she tried again, Goku stopped and pleasured her between her legs. He left her crying for more and begging to stop when the intense feelings got too much for her. He never did. When she begged, he became more aggressive and she loved it!

After her third release, he showed ChiChi mercy by merging his body with hers. Joining with Goku always felt like an out of world experience with ChiChi. She didn't have any lovers to compare to. She didn't need it. She knew Goku was all she needed and the feelings he created in her could never be replicated by anyone else.

"We fit so well together." Goku said over her as ChiChi's body moved against his so well-tuned.

ChiChi pulled Goku in for a kiss. "We're made for each other." One foot kicked off the covers. Her legs wrapped around his waist with her heels digging softly on his back. "My body was made for you. Your body was made for me."

"Funny," Goku rasped as he pushed himself in ChiChi, "I thought my body was made for fighting."

"Fighting," ChiChi accepted Goku's innocent comment with a carefree laugh of her own, "And me. Only me."

They chose to have the lights off again with only Goku's glowing body illuminating the room. She studied him; watched each ragged breath he took; heard every grunt. She marveled that while he was a martial artist with amazing stamina, he sweated during intimacy with her.

Even as her inner walls tightened and spasm against him through her release, she watched him; watched the last of his resistance snap, his pupils fade and his eyes turn milky white as he came at last. His body convulsed as his glowing essence filled her. Her lower half glowed as she felt intense heat and her womb overflood with Goku's hot liquid.

Empty, Goku's breathing eased as he pulled out and his bright, blonde hair faded to black. Goku always returned to his normal form when sleeping. It happened every night but tonight with tomorrow being the Cell Games, reality set in as this could be the last time they make love. Tomorrow, he may not be here.

The thought of it caused ChiChi to silently wept.

"Ah," Goku licked a tear rolling from her face. "Why are ya crying? Wasn't it good?"

"You know it was but what if it's the last one?"

"Why? You don't wanna do it tomorrow night? I know I'll be tired after the fight but I still wanna do it." He kissed her. "You'll have to do everything. Should be fun. I do love it when you're bouncing on me." He kissed her breasts. "Especially these."

"You're silly." She's crying and he makes jokes. "I'm sorry. I'm trying to be strong but I can't help worrying. You always push aside your feelings to make others feel better." Her eyes swept over his happy face. The starlight shining from the window brought light to the poorly lit room. It was barely enough for ChiChi to see him. "You have a big fight tomorrow and I'm thinking about myself and not you."

"Me?"

"Your feelings about this fight." Her hand caressed the center of his chest. "Your real feelings. At the picnic, I heard Gohan ask if you're sure about you two relaxing and not training. You smiled and said it's okay. I've been in my own world about my feelings. I know how you hide things behind your smile. You've done it because you worry how I will act." She hated the idea Goku felt he couldn't talk to her because of her reaction. It was the night before the Cell Games and Goku hadn't spoke on what troubled him. She wasn't sure if she was doing this for herself to know or for Goku to unburden himself but she tried again. "I want to give you this moment. I promise not to get mad. I promise not to yell at you. I just know you need to talk and I'm ready to listen. Whatever it is, I'm ready."

Telling her about Gohan was out of the question. ChiChi said the right words but he knew she will blow up at what he wanted to do. Still, he had to give her something. "I am a little scared about this fight. Strength isn't always the deciding factor to victory. Cell has my, Vegeta, Piccolo and even Freeza's skills. Vegeta challenged and kept me on my toes. Freeza was my toughest opponent. Piccolo's a good tactician and he can regrow his limbs. Not bragging but I'm very skilled, too. I'm always improvising, always learning and building on what I know. I'm going up against myself, too. It won't be easy beating Cell."

Whoo. No wondered he was so troubled. It wasn't a surprise he kept this from her. "Everyone always expects you to stay calm and give hope. They don't consider you have feelings of your own; that you have fears, too." ChiChi gently pulled Goku to her and nestled his face against her breasts. Her fingers gently threaded through his hair. "Thank you for telling me this. Thank you for trusting me."

"I always trust you." It was the truth. Even though he couldn't tell ChiChi about Gohan, he always knew there were things he could trust to tell her that others couldn't know or would understand.

"I trust you, too. I don't understand everything you do but I do trust you. If you thought not going back in that strange room was the best choice, then I know it was. I know you will do your best tomorrow. I know you will win. Cell has your skills; your best opponents' skills. He can do any move you can but he's not you. He's a cheap imitation. No matter how strong and skilled he is, you will always have that one ace up your sleeve to defeat him. I know it."

ChiChi was right. He did have an ace: Gohan but he couldn't tell her that. Instead, he soaked in her motivational words. Ten years ago, he married this woman. He honored a promise, unaware what this new venture would hold for him. It gave him a son he deeply loved and was proud of and a woman who knew him better than anyone; better than he wanted anyone to know him.

"ChiChi… I love you."

"I love you, too, Goku."

It was finally here. The Cell Games. ChiChi was always the first one awake but today it was Goku. Today he will face Cell in what will be his last fight. He put a hand over his chest. He hadn't forgotten what Dr. Sims told him about his heart. Maybe tonight or tomorrow, he'll tell ChiChi what Dr. Sims told him. That will definitely be the end of his fighting career. He won't win with ChiChi on this. He'd have to hide secret spars with Gohan to get his fighting fix in.

Goku wasn't happy letting everyone know about his heart. He didn't want them to know but knew they will all find out eventually. He could swear secrecy to ChiChi and Gohan about his condition but he knows Gohan will one day let it slip to Piccolo. Vegeta would find out at some point because he will demand a rematch during the upcoming peaceful times.

Life will be so different tomorrow. When he married ChiChi, he was happy to take a break from fighting. He was happy to do something else. He was happy because he knew one day he will go back to fighting. At the time, Goku needed a break from it. Fighting the Red Ribbon Army, King Piccolo and Piccolo burnt him out. This was different. With the damage to his heart, his impending break from fighting after the Cell Games might be permanent. Dr. Sims did give him hope things may change with his heart. They'll continue more studying and tests but for now he must quit and focus on something else. ChiChi's idea of farming was a good idea. He's done it for years working for Mr. Olitz and it will bring in money like ChiChi wanted. She was ready for them to stop depending on her Dad.

Speaking of his wife, Goku saw ChiChi opening her eyes. He welcomed her to this new day with a smiling face.

"Good morning, Goku. You're awake before me."

"It's the sun," he lied. "It's rising."

"Hmm," ChiChi murmured as she turned her back on Goku. Her hand caressed his arm that wrapped around her petite body. Together, they watched the sun rising over the peaks of Mount Paouz. The sunrise was beautiful but she dreaded this morning for nine days. "The games start at noon. Are you meeting everyone at the battle site or….."

"I'm going to meet them on Kami's Temple around eleven. We're flying there together."

Less than five hours from now. "You should eat first. I want you strong and energized for your fight." ChiChi got out of bed but Goku grabbed her hand and pulled her back into bed with him. Her nude body brushed over Goku's with the bedsheets separating them. "Goku," she laughed. "I have to make your breakfast."

"I know but I wanna enjoy this a little more. Our private time ends today. Tonight, they'll be three of us."

"These days were fun. I don't think I realized how much we needed this." ChiChi was against spending these days alone with Goku but it was one of Goku's best idea. It made her forget the severity of this day but it solidified the bond and commitment she and Goku made ten years ago. They only had to get past this day and look forward to a hopeful future. "Stay here. Get some more rest while I make breakfast and serve it to you in bed."

"Breakfast in bed?" It's been years since ChiChi did that for him.

"Mmm-hmm." She placed a kiss on his smooth chest. "And tonight," her lustful eyes were filled with promise, "I'll serve you another way."

Goku grabbed ChiChi's bare backside and rubbed her against him. "Serve me now."

ChiChi shook her head playfully. "No. That's incentive for you to come back to me tonight."

"It's good incentive."

Their playful flirting turned into kisses. It didn't take long for Goku to respond underneath her. ChiChi pulled away giggling. "I need to go or I won't have your breakfast ready." Goku reached for her but ChiChi stuck her tongue out at him. He released a playful growl emulating biting ChiChi before she disappeared in the bathroom.

ChiChi kept the television off as she prepared breakfast. She didn't want the grim news of today to sour her mood. She wanted to focus on making an excellent meal for Goku. Her husband loved to eat. The food she will prepare will give him the energy and stamina he will need today. She served Goku breakfast in bed as promised. Goku ate everything on his plates and some he deliberately tossed on her. As playful and flirty they were, one wouldn't think the fate the world's future will be decided today.

It was when Goku took his shower, reality set in. Their days of peace and fun were over. The Cell Games were here and in less than an hour, Goku will leave. ChiChi recalled that dreadful day Cell reached his perfect form. She remembered how Master Roshi's home shook like a violent earthquake. She recalled the multiple large waves of water washing over Master Roshi's home; how Master Roshi and Yamcha kept the home from flooding so they didn't drown. She was terrified and wanted Goku but he was away with Gohan training. Later, a defeated Krillin returned and told them the worst news. He, Vegeta and Trunks failed. Cell reached his perfect form.

ChiChi knew it was up to Goku and for the next nine days privately dreaded this moment.

She was in the bedroom now watching Goku dress. She didn't know why but she felt she had to be here; watch Goku slip on his boxers, his gi, his wristbands, his boots. She memorized every moment. It was something inside her that said she had to do this.

Just in case.

"All righty," Goku announced excitedly. "Time to go." He turned to ChiChi. "I'm gonna be starving when me and Gohan come back."

"I'll make a big meal for you both," ChiChi promised. "Just come home alive."

Goku kissed her. "Promise."

ChiChi followed Goku as he walked out. She watched him walk down the hall; walk past Gohan's bedroom; down the stairs; past the kitchen and finally outside their home.

"Be careful, Goku. Don't get killed."

"I know. I know." He said it so casually as it was routine now for ChiChi to tell him to not die and for him to let her know he understood.

Standing in their yard, ChiChi had a brief flashback to nearly two weeks ago when Goku, Gohan and Piccolo left to fight the Artificial Humans. A thought hit her. A strange feeling. It was strange for her to suddenly think of this now but perhaps the memory of Goku's last fight that triggered this.

Gohan. When they prepared for the Artificial Humans, Goku mentioned several times how Gohan will help them. He and Piccolo strategized ways Gohan will aide them. In the last nine days, not once has Goku mentioned Gohan fighting with him. He talked about fighting Cell but never Gohan. He mentioned his worry for fighting Cell but left out Gohan in the confession.

Why would he leave out Gohan of this fight? Why hasn't he mentioned Gohan helping him? Why did he really tell Gohan to not worry?

Oh, Kami, no. Goku, you can't be thinking…..

"And Gohan's not fighting right?!" If he can promise her this….. Please, Goku. Please let me be wrong.

"Huh?!" Goku squeaked. Damn. How the hell did she figure it out? I was almost gone! Sweat beaded on his forehead and his body tense. He didn't know what to say.

Goku's startled silence created a deep feeling of dread to form in the pit of ChiChi's stomach. This is it. This is what really troubled him. After what he told me last night…. I can't. I can't let Gohan fight. "Swear to me, you won't let Gohan fight." Please, Goku. Promise me. You don't break your promises!

Instead of promising, Goku cheerfully ran away, "I better get going!"

In a flash, Goku was gone.

Noooo! ChiChi screamed in her mind. "He is going to fight. Oh, Gohan." How could he do this? How could Goku set up our child to fight that monster? What is he thinking?!

"Goku? What are you doing here?"

Goku tossed his arm behind his neck. He rubbed it awkwardly as he stood in front of his father-in-law. When ChiChi begged him to promise her to not let Gohan fight, he lost all concentration. Instead of using his Ki to find Gohan, he thought of Gyu-Mao at the last moment and accidentally transported to him. "Well, I was leaving ChiChi but I kind of panicked and came here."

Gyu-Mao stood by his car. He was on his way to Goku and ChiChi's house to watch the Cell Games with his daughter. "I'm on my way to your home to be with ChiChi. You didn't have to remind me."

"Oh, no. That wasn't it."

Gyu-Mao closed the door of his car. "Then what is it? Why did you panic?"

Oops. He shouldn't have said that.

"Goku?" Gyu-Mao asked again. "What's going on with you and my daughter?" Goku's silence aggravated the king of Fire Mountain. "Goku, you're about to fight Cell. Anything can happen. Don't go into this fight if you and my daughter haven't settled things."

Though he wasn't on Gyu-Mao's bad side anymore, things weren't perfect between them. It was clear any distress he brought his daughter angered Gyu-Mao. "It's just…. ChiChi wanted me to make a promise I can't make. She found out I will do something at the Cell Games she doesn't approve of."

"And so you left." Gyu-Mao didn't like that at all. "I didn't think my daughter married a coward."

The blunt, cruel words were a harsh slap to Goku's face.

The words were harsh but his son-in-law was stubborn and sometimes didn't listen except to blunt facts. "Goku, you know I want things to be better between us. I said this at Gohan's party, but ChiChi is my daughter. My love for her will always come first and one thing I've hated is how your friends kept things from my daughter. After everything that has happened, I thought you would be the last person to keep secrets from her."

Gyu-Mao was right but Goku couldn't explain his reason. ChiChi wouldn't understand. She will ask questions he wasn't ready to answer. "She's gonna be mad."

"So?" That wasn't a good excuse. "If something happens, do you really want my daughter's last thoughts of you to be in anger?"

Or running from her Goku realized as he thought of how he did cowardly run away. ChiChi was going to feel anger either way. "No." He put his fingers to his forehead. He knew what he had to do. He only hoped ChiChi will try to understand.

ChiChi's Ki brought Goku inside of their home. She cried against the sofa. Before he spoke, ChiChi turned to him and pounced. She was on her feet and slapping her hands against his face and chest.

"How dare you! How could you! How can you have our baby boy fight that monster?! What the hell are you thinking?!"

He expected this reaction from her but he didn't have time for a lengthy fight with his wife. Time was ticking. He had a fight to get to but he had to settle this. ChiChi can be angry with him, kick him out of the house for a while after this fight with Cell is over but he'll make her understand before he leaves even if he has to lose his temper with her.

Goku grabbed ChiChi's arms and shook her. "Stop it! I took Gohan with me to fight the Artificial Humans. Why are you being so foolish to think I won't need him to fight Cell?!"

His angry tone was like a bucket of water on her body. She snatched herself from his grasp. "You had more time! You were in that room for a year! You could've gone back so only you will fight Cell and not our son! Cell has your, Vegeta, Piccolo and Freeza's genes in him. If you're nervous fighting him, why the hell do you think it's fine to put our son against that monster?!"

"You know me, ChiChi You know how much I rather fight alone. Remember my fight with Piccolo? Our future was at stake but I refused Tien and Kami's help. I wanted that victory alone. I thought it was the pride of being a martial artist but it was my Saiyan blood that refused to share victory. It was the same against Nappa, Vegeta and Freeza but things have changed. I can't do it alone anymore and that bothers me more than you will ever know!"

His words reached ChiChi. Her face still flushed with anger but her eyes told him she was listening. Calmly, he continued, "You really think I would have Gohan fight if I didn't need him? Don't you think I want to send him away like I did on Namek? Cell is too strong for me. I need Gohan."

"He's nine years old and you're putting him up against a monster than can destroy this planet!"

"You told me to make Gohan as strong as possible." ChiChi threw her hands up. He aggravated her by tossing ChiChi's words back on her but she needed to hear this. "Do you really think I would have Gohan help me against Cell if I didn't think he's ready?"

He wouldn't. ChiChi knew that but it didn't squelch her anger at this decision. "You always wanted him to fight. He wasn't walking and you were talking about training him. I fought with you on this, but as always you got your way. It didn't go as you planned but you always, always got your way!" ChiChi shook her head. She just couldn't believe he would do this! "Goku, you're so blind. I don't know if it's your Saiyan blood or….." she couldn't find the right words finish. "So, what if Gohan is strong enough to fight Cell. He's still a child. He's not ready for this."

"He is." ChiChi was wrong on this. Gohan was ready. He was in that room with Gohan. He saw his power. If Gohan was a full blood Saiyan, Goku would worry but seeing how Trunks acts and seeing how Gohan acted so far as a Super Saiyan, Goku had confidence in his son. "His human blood makes him ready."

"Human blood?" What the hell was he going with this? "What does that mean?"

A lot to Goku. "Me and Vegeta let our pride get in the way. It blinded me in my fight against Freeza. It blinded Vegeta against Cell. Trunks and Gohan don't have that arrogance. They know when it's time to put the beast down. They ain't vulnerable like me and Vegeta who need to fight our opponents at their strongest."

That didn't comfort ChiChi at all. "How can Gohan put the beast down when he's never done it before?! Every time he was in a fight, you had to step in to save him!"

That was true. Against Nappa and against Recoome, Goku arrived at the last moment to save their son. This will be the first time Gohan will save him but Goku knew Gohan can do it.

ChiChi exhaled as her hands rolled down her head to settle on the back of her neck. They were getting nowhere with this. 11:15. The Cell Games will start soon. Goku had to go. They can go around in circles arguing but ChiChi knew she couldn't stop him. It was too late to get him to reconsider sending Gohan to fight Cell. "Goku, I want to go with you to the Cell Games."

Surely, she was joking. "ChiChi, you can't go."

"I'm a fighter!" ChiChi argued. "I'm stronger than I was years ago. Days ago, you said I've improved."

She improved a lot but not for this. "ChiChi, you know you're not strong enough to be on the battlefield with Cell."

"And you think Gohan is? You all but admit you weren't last night."

Oh, she was using their talk last night against him. He can do the same against her. "And do you remember what you said? You trust me. You know what ace I have up my sleeve will help me win. That ace is Gohan and you know it."

He was right. Deep down she knew he was right but she could never admit that. Goku admitting he need Gohan to help him against Cell was very troubling. Why she wondered. Why can Gohan do what he can't? If this meant there's a chance they can lose….. "I want to be with you and Gohan."

Goku understood why ChiChi wanted to go but he couldn't let that happen. "Your father will be here with you to watch the Cell Games."

She didn't care about that. After all this revelation, how could she sit at home when her family will be there? "I should be with my family. If you can't beat Cell-"

"ChiChi, we'll beat him."

No. She wasn't so sure now. "I need to do something. I need to help somehow. You and Gohan will be fighting that monster. You're gonna get hurt. You could-" she fought off a sob. "I need to be there! I need to help you two!"

"If you wanna help me, then stay here." ChiChi shook her head. Tears sprung from her eyes. No, she couldn't. She couldn't do that. "Stay," he commanded gently. "Help me, ChiChi. Stay."

ChiChi closed her eyes as Goku's gentle request washed over her. She didn't want to listen but she knew he was right. She couldn't go with him. She'll be a liability. He and Gohan couldn't give their best if she was there. "Stay," she heard him say again. She hated this. Damn how she hated this! Sniffling with a nod, she slowly accepted his request.

"If you can't beat Cell," ChiChi opened her watery eyes to Goku, "and the end comes for all of us, just promise me you will be with Gohan."

"Ah, don't be so grim, ChiChi. Me and Gohan got this." He touched her chin, smiling at her pretty, tear filled face. "Is this how you're saying goodbye to me? No smiles. All tears. Am I going to my funeral or the best fight of my life?"

ChiChi laughed despite the seriousness of the situation. "Don't make jokes at a time like this."

"Got you smiling." He wiped away her tears. "There's that smile. I need to see that."

ChiChi grabbed a fistful of Goku's shirts and pulled Goku down for one more kiss goodbye. He opened his mouth against hers; hot with desire and eager to squelch the fear and desperation he felt in ChiChi's kiss.

He wanted to stay; tenderly but savagely claim her body one more time if only to assure her all will be well, but there was no time. He had to go. With a ragged moan, Goku broke their kiss. ChiChi's breasts heaved up and down. Her lips were swollen and her cheeks were colored a deep pink. A tang of her delicious scent teased the air. Dammit. If only it was 10:20.

"I'll see you tonight," he said again.

Goku put two fingers to his forehead and felt for Gohan's Ki. Finding it, he smiled at ChiChi once more and disappeared.

Part 31: Sacrifice

An: I felt Goku leaving ChiChi in the manga was cowardly and such a poor way for that to be ChiChi's last moment with Goku. I also think ChiChi had to suspect Goku thought he might die. He deliberately wanted to spend the last days before the Cell Games with her and not include their son. Deep down, ChiChi had to suspect something else was going on in Goku's mind.

Gosha, Gaanata, Kurami: Thanks.

Kawaii: Thanks. Sorry for the long wait. Please pray for me to get these out sooner. I'm soooo behind but life is crazy now.

Sheepra: Thanks. Sorry for the delay. Well this chapter didn't ease your concerns did it.

Kosisi: Not a fan of DBS either but when there are bias intentions from the creator there's nothing we can do.

Busi: One of the things never mentioned is how innocent people are hurt by prideful decisions of others. Krillin will regret his decision and well, Vegeta. He's Vegeta. He's suffering in his own way.

Rose: Gohan's still quite innocent. He won't ask where babies are coming from but he is starting to noticed things about certain men around his mother. As for the Yamcha and ChiChi hate, I think a lot of fans try to avoid or deflect the flaws of their favorites but attacking other characters. All of these characters have flaws and that's what makes it so great. They're likable but they are flawed and there's nothing wrong with that, but people try to make their favorites perfect and ignore the things they did which isn't great. You're not being a good fan of a character you like if you don't acknowledge all the things they did, especially the bad stuff. I understand about the Goku crush too. I've come across fans of Bulma who deny it since Goku does reject her in a way and there are others who accept it because they ship them. I will say in seven years Bulma and Vegeta (mainly Bulma) tries to make their relationship work because they do fall in love with each other in that timeframe but Vegeta has his own issues.
