Notes: Thank you for all the kind and positive reviews! Especially about my choice in pairings for Eliza, and Bucky. My creative mind just had this crazy idea ... So I just... went with it ... Lol. Also sorry for the delay in posting this chapter, it was tough for me to write for several reasons, and I toiled over a lot of scenes in it.
Bucky trotted downstairs at the sound of the door bell, his heart gave a small leap of excitement when he opened the door to find her standing on the other side of it. He wondered if that would ever go away? He hoped not.
This time she was wearing a dark green ankle length skirt and a simple white top, but it didn't matter what she wore, she always looked radiant.
"Come on, we'll take my car." He said as he offered his arm
"What do you want to see?" He asked her as they approached the counter to buy their tickets
"Well ... To be honest, I'm huge into action flicks." She replied.
A girl who liked action movies ... Could she get any MORE amazing?
He grinned at her "they're my favorite, too." He said
"Ooo! I hear that's a good one too and I've been dying to see it! My cheer friends said it was super scary!" She said as she pointed out a title.
Bucky swallowed nervously, he had never been huge on scary movies, but Wynry seemed to have her heart set on seeing that one and for her ... He was willing to do ANYTHING.
He swallowed his nervousness and offered her a grin. "Okay, that one it is." He said
They bought a huge bucket of popcorn to share and found their seats just as the lights began to dim.
This particular title had been showing for a while, so the theater was pretty empty, and they had their choice of where to sit, they chose a couple of seats towards the back.
Bucky watched the majority of the movie through his fingers, because his hands had remained covering his face for almost the whole duration of the movie... it was time to accept it ... he was a damn coward.
Wynry however didn't evem seem to notice, she was having the time of her life. Sure she jumped and covered her eyes, too, but she always ended up laughing at herself.
"That was fun! " she said, bouncing excitedly as they walked to his car.
"Yeah ... fun ..." he said weakly, Wynry noticed that his hand was shaking slightly as he pressed the unlock button on his key fob.
"Oh my gosh! I didn't even think to ask if you were into scary movies! I'm so sorry!" She said
"It's okay, I'll be honest with you, Wynry ... I'm ... kind of a wuss." He said with an apologetic grin
Her brow furrowed "Not liking scary movies doesn't make you a wuss, Bucky, if you were that afraid to see it, you should've told me. I would've been game to see whatever. " she said
"Its not just movies... I'm... not a very brave person, at Prawn, instead of helping Addison and the others find the Moonstone, I... I hid under a table." He confessed as he leaned against the side of his car
She suddenly drew close to him.
"Well I happen to like you JUST the way you are." She said as she kissed him.
She tasted so amazing, dark and sweet and a little spicy ... and he couldn't get enough of her.
She let out a growl against his mouth as her eyes began to glow.
"Oh no! I'm sorry!" She said as she shied away, he immediately pulled her back against him
"I never got a chance to tell you how HOT it is when you do ... THAT." He said
"Bucky are you crazy?! I could really hurt you!" She exclaimed
"I don't think you will." He replied matter of factly
"Do you really want to take the chance and find out?" She warned him
He grinned. "Yes, yes I do." He said as he kissed her.
She let out another growl as her hand shot forward and gripped the roof his car and he heard metal crunching in wake of her strength.
This time stars DID burst forth to life behind his eyelids and it almost made him forget that they were in a VERY public place.
Reluctantly, he broke off the kiss.
"On second thought, maybe we'd better stop before we get the monster patrol called on us. I mean... I know you won't hurt me, but they don't." He said, slightly breathless as he nodded to the passersby who were beginning to stare.
"Yeah, that would be a mood killer for SURE." She said with a laugh as she disentangled herself from his embrace and slid into the passenger seat .
She looked at him quizzically when he turned the opposite direction of his house.
"Just trust me" he said
"Oh ... wow!" She as she got out of the car and walked to the edge of the guard rail to get a better look at the sun setting over the ocean in all its brilliant splendor.
"It's amazing, isn't it?" He said as he joined her.
"Amazing doesn't even begin to describe it!" She replied.
He became mesmerized at how the reflection of the brilliant sunset glittered and danced in her beautiful eyes.
She turned towards him and caught him openly staring at her.
He suddenly realized what he was doing and awkwardly cleared his throat
"I'm sorry I keep doing that. " he said as he ran his hand through his hair.
"Why do you keep doing that? Staring at me I mean." She asked.
Bucky felt his mouth pop open in surprise.
"Are you serious?! You really don't know?"
She shook her head
"Because! You're so incredible and gorgeous that I sometimes get ... distracted by it." He admitted
"By ... by me?" She said
He wrapped his arms around her
"Yes ... by you." He said as they watched the sun sink into the ocean wrapped in each other's arms, and Bucky reminded himself to thank Zed and Addison for telling him about this place the next time he saw them.
"Thanks for an amazing evening." She said as they pulled into his driveway.
"My parents aren't back from dinner yet, would you ... like to come in?" He asked hopefully, he wasn't ready for their date to end JUST yet.
She considered him for a moment, before smiling. "I'd like that."
"We can hang out and watch TV if you want, just no scary stuff, please. " he said with a laugh as he walked in and flopped down on the couch.
"Actually... I had something ... ELSE in mind. " She said as she joined him.
"Wait ... what are you doing?" He said as she reached up to pull her necklace off.
"If I take it off, there won't be a chance that I'll go all savage wolf on you." She said
"But won't you get sick without it?" He asked
"No, not as long as I stay in close proximity to it and don't leave it off for too long." She replied
His hands over hers stopped her
"That sounds dangerous, you don't need to risk it. Back at the movie theater, you could've hurt me, but you didn't, you hurt my car instead. " he said with a grin
She blushed. "Sorry about that. "
He waved her concern off
"My point is that you're not some mindless savage. I wish you could see how beautiful, and strong, and amazing you are. " he said as he took her hands in his.
Suddenly overcome with desire, Wynry pushed him back against the couch, albeit with more force than she intended, but he didn't seem to mind. She crouched low over him like the predator she was, her face mere inches from his, fangs bared and eyes glowing.
"You're so damn beautiful." He said reverently as his hands entwined themselves in her long hair.
Wynry let out a guttural growl as she lurched forward and her lips crashed against his in a searing kiss.
This time, he didn't just see stars, he was overcome with a deluge of so many emotions at once that they took possession of his tongue
"I love you, Wynry! I love you so damn much!" He suddenly declared, unable to stop himself.
A noise that was something between a bark and a roar escaped her as her hands shot forward and gripped the arm of the couch on each side of his head.
He was vaguely aware of the sound her claws made as they tore into the couch's fine leather, his hands also seemed to take on a mind of their own as they roved over the length of her body and somewhere along the way, he'd lost his shirt
"Hey! What in the hell is going on here!"
Wynry and Bucky jumped apart at the sound of his father's angry voice
"Oh damn!" Bucky cursed, trying to recover his wits as he scrambled to locate his shirt, which thankfully, Wynry found and handed to him, he quickly shrugged into it.
"Well?!" His father said as he crossed his arms over his chest and waited for an answer, his mother looked just as angry
"Um ..." He trailed off as he glanced at Wynry, who looked as mortified as he felt.
His mother's expression softened, however when she turned to address Wynry
"Wynry dear, I think that you should be getting home." She said
Wynry nodded silently, her face as red as a tomato as she slowly stood.
"I'll... walk you out." Bucky said as they both moved quickly towards the door.
"I'm so sorry!" She hissed once they were outside.
He grinned widely at her
"I'm not."
"Bucky Anderson Buchanan! Say your goodbyes and get back in here, we need to talk!" He heard his mother say.
Bucky cringed at the use of his full name, she never did that unless she was SERIOUSLY mad.
"Well ... I'm probably grounded, which means that I probably won't get to see you for a while." Just thinking about being separated from her made his heart ache.
She suddenly pulled him into a brief but passionate kiss
"Just in case we can't see each other for a while. " she said as she trotted off towards the treeline
"Oh ..." she said as she turned around.
"... And I love you, too." She said as she blew him a kiss, and with that, she bounded off into the woods.
"Wait ... what?" He sputtered, but she was already gone.
Well ... Now he had to face his parents and be dealt his punishment, he blew out a sigh and trudged back inside.
"Bucky, what were you thinking?! Who knows what would've happened if we hadn't come home when we did!" His mother said
"Oh ... I think I KNOW, what would've happened! And he WASN'T thinking! Not about the ramifications, or the consequences!" His father said
Anger bubbled up inside him as he quickly stood
"And just what does that mean?" He countered
His father gave him a look. "Bucky , now I know you really like this girl and all ... but ..."
"I don't just like her, dad I'm ... in love with her. " he corrected
His parents shared a look of surprise, a declaration of love was NOT what they had expected at all from their son.
"I know that both of you are eighteen, and technically adults, but you both really need to think this through, especially since you are both still young, and have your futures to think about. " his father said.
"You're right! I wasn't thinking ... I'm such a jerk!" He said as he ran his hands through his hair.
His father put a hand on his shoulder
"You're not a jerk son, love can make you do some crazy things, trust me." He said with a grin.
"So I'm... NOT grounded?" He said tentatively
"His father smiled
"No, Buck, you're at the age where I don't think that grounding you would be appropriate anymore but this IS still our house and we still make the rules, and there will be no more having her over when we're not home, is that clear?"
He grinned
"Crystal. " he said as he hugged them both and bounded up stairs to his room.
