Chapter 30

Dr. Fink was nearly done.

He has assemble all the necessary materials needed, he has finished fabrication and now, all he needed was the opportunity. "The bullets came out perfectly. Such rare materials were hard to find, even harder to combine, yet the method given to me worked perfectly." He said aloud.

Then a knock came to his lab door. "Enter!" he called.

The door creaked open. Ubet walked in with a rather proud strut to say the least. "I heard some good news!" he said proudly. "People are really up and arms about that monster family, they are taking my cause seriously! I cannot wait to get started. How much longer doc?"

Fink smiled. "I have the means of exterminating them, right here. However I have to finish the device that will ensure we can use these bullets."

Chet paused. "How do we know this device will work?" he asked. "Don't get me wrong doc, but I have heard how strong Garou himself is, an unbreakable will I heard many say…"

"Indeed, which is why we have to go after his mind!" Turning to the computer, Fink brought up a video. Chet peered over his shoulder and paused as he saw a very crazed looking teenager go mad within a cell full of monsters. "This was taken a while back of Garou's eldest son. He was forced through a maze, yet unknowingly to him, there was a sound played. This was his action without it… simple correct? The moves are calculated. But look at this one, when they played a certain sound."

The video played, the boy was grabbing the side of his head and screamed aloud, then… a savage look came over him as he tore the room apart like an animal! "You sure they played something?" Chet asked.

Fink smiled. "Without a shadow of doubt, it's a sound only he can hear. Consider this, there are still human elements to these creatures. The noise does not affect humans or monsters. But, those who trapped in between these two worlds, well… needless to say. They become unstable!"

He was grinning from ear to ear. The news was pleasing him. "How soon can we get this thing going?"

"That's been my project. We cannot have it as a single source within the supercontinent, it will be discovered far faster and destroyed. No, I have bigger plans in mind. We are going to make a probe, send it into space and from there… Garou's family will not be able to escape!"

Chet began to laugh aloud. He clapped to the doctor's efforts and said. "Make sure this thing goes up before the election. I want the people so scared they vote me in, and then, we get these freaks out of this world once and for all!"

Fink nodded in agreement. "I'll get back to work right away. It should be ready in the next week!"

"See that you get that done"

As Chet left him be, he began to reveal a side project.

This one was near and dear to his heart. After all, he is going to gain the ultimate bodyguards with the device!

He found the notes within the alien ship, hidden within data banks was a hack code, Fink has tested it on everything in his possession and it will break through barrier embedded into technology with great ease. "I am going to use this on the Brawlers…" he said and smiled with a sinister grin. "Those two will be under my thumb at my beck and call! If Chet thinks he is going to be the man in charge, he can think again!"

The hack was just discovered recently. He was rather stunned it worked so flawlessly on every piece of equipment he had! But would it work on cyborgs? "I must do this before we launch the probe. I want the Brawlers before they can do anything to stop me!" he muttered to himself.

He managed to condense the code down, and made it so if the Brawlers heard a particular sound, it would make them freeze in their tracks, from there, he can use the code and upload it into them through Wi-Fi signals. Once embedded, it will be impossible to remove.

They will be his slaves, and there was no time like the present to test it out!

Street shuttered.

"You okay?" Knuckle asked.

"Just got this creeping sensation," he muttered. "So, how did the dinner go last night with sis and Tatsu?"

Knuckle appeared to ho hum the situation. "It's hard to read. I know sis doesn't like Tatsu, nor does Tatsu like sis, but… I noticed that Tatsumaki, keeps looking at the twins oddly. Is… is she hinting that she wants kids?" he asked rather nervously. "If she does, I got to get a ring!"

"You have only been dating a few months!"

"Yeah, well, you know, sometimes stuff happens faster than it should!" Knuckle stated, but shrugged the whole thing off. "Where were you by the way?"

"Bun and I found a few more labs to knock over. I've been trying to get some data on what this damn clone has planned. I got bits and pieces so far, yet one has me concerned to say the least. I've also been tracking strange shipments of stuff, but they are just too random and occurring everywhere. I think someone is trying to throw us off on this. Not to mention, there's information about the family. Something's off. Decibels and sound waves… I am trying to understand what they discovered."

Knuckle sighed aloud as his hands went on his hips. "Guess we got some ass kicking to do!" he stated. But then paused. He stuck his finger in his ear, just as Street began to hear this strange buzzing sound come over his. "You hearing that too?"

"Yeah, but... what is it?"

A sudden message appeared before his eyes. "Bro… you seeing this shit?" Knuckle asked with great concern.

"Yeah, but why is it warning us of this? What's going on?"

He began to feel strange. His mind began to grow fuzzy, yet as he looked on ahead, he saw Dr. Fink near by, smiling a wicked grin and held up his cellphone oddly. "Gentlemen, welcome to my legions…"

Street felt his body shut down. Everything went dark…
