Aria
I turned and went back into the house, finding it empty and clean. I was very aware of Din lurking behind me but I ignored him for a moment, wondering if I should turn on a light.
"Aria."
"Din." I quipped, turning to him as he slid his arms around me.
"You're my wife." He continued, bending and scooping me up like a small child. "And we're finally alone."
"Uh huh." I managed and Din chuckled, carrying me towards an even darker part of the house. "So what are you going to do about it?"
"Hopefully lots of things." He repeated my words from the shower which made me smile in the dark. I rested my cheek against his shoulder, feeling peaceful yet excited, safe... yet I knew I was in more danger than I had ever been in my entire life with him.
Din kicked a door closed behind us and I felt the energy change from teasing to pure intensity as he set me down on a bed, shifting away from me as I listened for his movements.
I heard him sliding his armour off piece by piece, the Beskar clinking gently as he moved them to the floor. Next came his boots, his belt, his blaster… I almost laughed at how comical the sounds were and how long it took. Lastly came his helmet, which he set down on the night side table.
The bed dipped suddenly and I lost my balance slightly, tipping forward before two bare arms grabbed mine, making my heart stutter.
"You looked beautiful today." Din murmured, his voice close to me as he sat in front of me, his fingers brushing into my hair as he began pulling out the pins and throwing them on the floor. I couldn't answer, I was so fascinated with every one of his purposeful movements. I felt my hair falling free of the intricate design Cara had put in and Din shifted his weight, making the bed squeak slightly.
His hands dropped from my head down to my shoulders, skimming down my sides and my thighs slowly until his fingers curled around the hem of my dress.
"Say something." Din whispered, his face close to mine as he leaned over me, trying to gauge my reaction in the blackness.
"You're hot." Was all I could manage and he threw back his head and laughed, the sound making me shiver suddenly at how deep and beautifully perfect it was.
"Good to know." Din pulled my dress up slightly, moving the fabric high over my hips, over my stomach as I lifted my arms and then it was on the floor. His fingers danced across my back, flicking the clasp off my undergarment which joined my wedding dress as Din let out a hum, gently wedging himself between my legs as he began exploring.
Finally, I touched his shoulders, pulling back a bit when my fingers met bare skin.
"You took your shirt off." I whispered and he bent, pulling me into his canvas-covered lap and bringing our bare torsos together as we both groaned at the contact.
"Yes." Din whispered back, his voice so thoughtful that I wondered what facial expression he was making. I ran my hands down his chest, my fingertips brushing every dip and hard line of his torso as he held still for me, his chest rising and falling quickly. I stroked a few of the raised marks crisscrossing on his pecs, his stomach and his arms as he waited, probably wondering what I was thinking. I didn't want to ask the stories of the wounds quite yet but I was suddenly overwhelmed with a fierce love for this man.
"I love you." My words must have been the right thing to say because Din's mouth was quickly on mine and he leaned forward, cradling me in his arms as I wrapped my legs around his waist, both of us still sitting in the bed.
His kiss turned urgent, and his hands slid down my bare body, making me shudder at the feeling of his calloused palms exploring places I didn't know could feel so much.
"I don't want to scare you." He said gently, "It's… been decades."
I propped myself up on my elbow, congratulating myself on being so flexible since my legs were still wrapped around my husband's waist.
"How old are you?" I joked and Din rumbled, leaning down unexpectedly to kiss my breasts. The feeling was overwhelming and I gasped, my hand rising to bury my fingers into his thick hair as he gently nipped me. "Ok, ok!" I said breathlessly and he lifted his head. I could see the glimmer of his teeth as he beamed down at me and I wondered if I would ever get used to having him forever.
"I trust you." I ran my thumbs under his eyes, stroking his cheekbones as he shifted again, this time to slowly pull down my underwear. I moved with him, unbuttoning his pants and pushing, grateful when he lifted his hips and kicked the rest of his clothes to the floor.
We were completely bare now, our legs and arms intertwined but Din held himself above me, making sure our limbs were the only body parts that were touching.
"You're my wife." He repeated in a tender voice, making me reach up to brush his lips with mine. He said it like he didn't believe it, like he could hardly dare to hope that I was going to be with him for the rest of our lives.
"You're my husband." I answered and he finally lowered himself down to me, moaning gently as our bodies melted together like they were made for each other.
Din kissed me as he lifted my legs, moving them apart carefully as his hands ran through my hair. He pushed his nose against my neck, breathing deeply as if to memorize my scent.
I was almost begging now, all words fleeing from my brain as his movements grew more urgent and intimate.
"Are you ready?" Din asks and I nod, closing my eyes as he pushes into me smoothly, hesitating as a low groan drops from my lips. "Aria-"
"Please." I manage and he continues moving, bending to kiss me hard as he slides further and further into me. It hurts and for some reason, I feel my cheeks getting wet as I work to adjust to him. Immediately, the feeling goes away as he pulls back, startled,
"Aria, honey." Din stops when I grab his neck,
"I'm alright." I assure him. "I trust you." I can't seem to say anything else but I feel some of the tenseness work out of my husband's shoulders as he pushes back in, slowly and as gently as he can.
After what seems like hours, Din stills, kissing me deeply, almost apologetically. I can only hold onto him tightly until I begin to breathe again and I feel the urge to move with him. He sets the pace slow, paying close attention to my body's response as we move together.
It takes a second for the burn to fade, quickly replaced with a deep need and tortuous pleasure.
Din is still moving, one of his hands lifting my head up to his as he kisses me again, swallowing some of my groans as he fills me.
Then I feel him tense, his entire body shuddering as he lets go, gathering me into his arms as we both fall together off a cloud we never knew we were on.
The room is silent except for our gasps for breath and the bed squeaking as Din shifts once more, every inch of his skin damp with a thin sheen of sweat as he eases out of me.
I hum, making him pause and lift his head,
"Aria?"
"Yes?"
He climbs up my body and rolls, switching positions with me and laying my body flat on top of him.
"I love you." The words make me tremble and I know he feels it, because his hands tighten around me.
"I love you too." I whisper, still distinctly aware of our bodies flush against each other with nothing between them.
