Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens rewritten

I know I'm gonna get hate and death threats shoved up the ass for this, but I don't hate the new trilogy. But if I were rewriting it, is it any indication that I think it's perfect? Of course not! But what I'm doing here is reintroducing familiar elements but putting new spins on them. So try to keep an open mind here, okay?

23. Ch 20 Infiltration: Part 3

Then we cut back to the space battle for a little action, that action being the Y-wings taking another route that's away from another star destroyer appearing out of hyperspace. On the star killer, we see Hux walk onto the bridge. "Admiral. What's the status of our cannons?" "They're at 87% charge." "If only we didn't have to wait for a 100% charge to fire them…"

Our heroes spotted the cannon control room, all but Han make it inside. "Hey! Can anyone in there hear me?" Chewbacca responds. "Good! Is there any other way to get in there?" Rey looks out some of the windows overlooking a large chasm with the cannons being separated from it by a ray shield. And over the chasm is a catwalk with no railings. At each end of the catwalk are two doorways. She then makes her way to one of the consoles with a map on it. "There!" Chewbacca grumbles the directions to Han in shyriiwook.

"Thanks pal!" He then runs off. Finn turns to Rey. "Let me handle this." He types a bit on the console. "Okay. The cannons' generator should be in a room one floor up."
