Alec knew he had to talk to Ragnor Fell about Asmodeus. The only way to let him and Magnus have sex was to get rid of the damn demon that was screwing things up. By the Angel, why couldn't he let them catch a break.

The only problem was finding the room Ragnor was staying in. There were so many rooms in the Institute, it was so hard to find anyone in this place. Seriously, Hodge should have taken his suggestion to pur nameplates on the doors. Alec could be running around, looking for Ragnor, for the rest of the day. Thankfully, he had some idea of what room Ragnor was in; he'd been in there.

"Look I need to talk to you about something," Alec said, bursting into Ragnor's room.

"About what?" Ragnor asked, sitting up and rubbing his eyes groggily. "I was trying to catch a nap. It's gonna take forever to make up the sleep I lost in prison."

"Magnus doesn't seem to have a problem catching up on sleep," Alec pointed out, thinking of last night. Magnus had sleep peacefully next to Alec, while Alec sat up all night and worried for him.

"That's because he's sleeping with you," Ragnor explained. "Trust me, sleep after personal intimacy is the best."

"We-" Alec stammered. "We- We haven't done that yet! He just sleepers really good because he's sleeping next to me."

"Eh," Ragnor said. "Sleep is sleep. Now what do you want to talk about?"

"Asmodeus."

Ragnor stiffened. "I'll talk about anything but that."

"Look, do you want to kill him or not? Because I need to know certain things about him before I kill him."

"Okay, look, I don't know much about his plan. All I know is he's taking Downworlders from the City of Bones. So my guess is you have to sneak in there, watch him take the Downworlders, then kill him when he isn't looking."

"Thanks, Ragnor," Alec said. "Also . . . we kinda forgot you were here. So next time Clary and the other Shadowhunters leave us alone . . . don't come into Magnus and I's room, okay?"

"Got it," Ragnor replied.

Alec ran to the other side of Institute (Again, why did they have to make this place so big?), all the way back to his room. Magnus was sitting down on the bed, and he looked beautiful. He had dusted himself with gold glitter, and the black gear jacket Alec had throw at him earlier was zipped down enough to show a sliver of his bare chest.

"Oh, Magnus," Alec breathed. "You look amazing."

"It's been a while since I've felt this glamorous," Magnus said. "It feels so good to be wearing eyeliner again."

"You're still beautiful to me, any way you look," Alec said, sitting down on the bed next to Magnus. "I swear, I'd never seen anyone more beautiful than you when you woke up next to me this morning."

"Thank you," Magnus whispered. He leaned in and kissed Alec gently on the lips. He left a gold lipstick print there, too. "Ugh, damn it. Doing my make-up without magic makes it less likely to stick to my face. Also, I poked my eye at least five times trying to put my eyeliner on."

"If you ever need me to help you, I can help," Alec said. "I know how to get back at Asmodeus. And I can kill him, too."

"Tell me," Magnus said. "Please tell me."

"We'll have to go to the City of Bones," Alec said.

"Oh, I'm all for getting back at Asmodeus, and having sex with you, but I don't want to go back." Magnus took Alec's hands in his. "Please don't make me go back."

"I won't," Alec said. "I just need to go there, and find out where he's taking the Downworlders. Then you can Portal us there. I won't do anything you're not comfortable with, Magnus ever."

"Thank you," Magnus said. "I love you."

"I love you too. Now, are you ready to kill your father?"

"I never thought I'd say this . . . . but, yes."
