-Sleep Transition Finished-
My leg should be about ready in 2 to 3 days by my estimate. My calculations being how much pain I experience when I try to walk like normal, yesterday was a vice of sharp nails all around the bone of my leg and today is more like studs instead digging into the nerves.
I grab my nearby crutch and get out to the newly dubbed Experiment Yard. I decide to do a couple stretches to retain some of the previous muscles I usually stretch during battle, it isn't much of a substitution but it should delay the muscle atrophy long enough for me to get back into battle. The whole main idea of this whole resting thing me and my Generals are taking is basically all related to the recent Raid. The main reason was obviously my leg but I do trust everyone else to handle some simple mobs from the nighttime but the reason the Raid was caused was because the Requirements for it were met. If I kill enough Zombies the Herd from the Dark Forest might come over to solve the problem of its potential recruits dying constantly, the same could happen for the other mobs too. The original Gamer caused a Boss mob to spawn in a dungeon after killing 100 Zombies or some number like that, this was definitely a different System but some things are similar to it. I do want to plan out some kind of Arena type of thing but i'm not sure if it would be effective as some Raids might only be triggered on Bedrock or something like that.
The whole Phantom plan failed as well, no flying scouts for the meantime I suppose. I could just go where they naturally spawn, high in the sky, but I can postpone that until I get more of a base built and two functioning legs while i'm at it.
I finish up my stretches and head over to a nearby "lake" to do some fishing, it was more like a hole filled with water if i'm being honest. 3 wide, 3 long and 3 deep but it seemed that the fished disagreed with physics and got attracted to my bobber that has no bait on it. It does seem to be a little bit realistic though as I have to take the already dead fish off the hook and lay it on the ground, I should get someone to get it as being on the floor isn't good for food.
I get Megumin over and see if she has good enough problem solving Skills to get it into a chest. She seems to catch on and summons a Clone of me, it even gets a free crutch prop out of it too. Must be apart of the Clone identity itself, I do wonder if we could detach it from the original body and leave it around as a kind of hidden land mine thing, i'm not willing to test it right now as I have enough injuries and that might invoke a explosion if I try to remove it. Megumin soon encourages the Clone to use its arms to pick it up but after a few attempts of it putting the dangling arm over the fish and its hand flopping around all over the fish they give up and decide to use the legs. They defiantly seem more comfortable with them and Megumin does have legs so it makes sense.
The Clone kicks the fish around a bit before relaying a kind of thought to Megumin, more Clones are soon summoned. It was weird seeing a group of myself kick around a fish but the waters soon called my attention as I got another bite. I soon yanked the rod and my prize came out, precariously balanced on the hook of the bobber. It was a stick, I decide not to question how it got there but instead tossed it onto the pile of Clone behind me to add onto the fishing pile.
Unknown to me this landed on the foot of a kicking Clone and it launched off the appendage and hit the head of another Clone, this seemed to further agitate the anger from not being able to transport the single fish. The Clones soon forgot about the fish and started pushing against the other after the original two started doing the same and ran into the others, they seem to be unwilling to cause serious damage but more than willing to annoy the others. Megumin soon interrupted this disobedience with a iron fist, by that I mean directing them to solve their problems by making two teams. They soon separated into the two groups and Megumin gave one team the stick and the other the fish. Megumin explained that whoever got their item over to the resource chest would win and could get the other team to do what they want.
This was agreed upon and the event soon started.
The team with the fish, aptly named the Fish Team, decided that the best way to pick it up would be with their heads. They would be able to carry it easily and could just tip it with their heads to dunk it into the chest. Other obstacles like doors and holes could also be avoided by just opening and walking around them respectively, it would also be faster than dragging it through the ground as well. The tricky part would be keeping the fish on top and actually getting it on top of one of their heads.
Team Stick, the other team if you couldn't tell, decided to actually try using their legs once more. Obviously kicking wouldn't do so they decided to make themselves palanquin carriers with the stick as the precious cargo. The Style Points would definitely be going to them if they succeeded. The tricky part of this would be actually getting one of their teammates on top of the others to be the seat of the stick.
I was blissfully unaware of this as I caught a actual pair of leather boots somehow dangling on the hook, maybe there's some kind of trick to getting good loot?

Authors Note:Just trying to do a bit of some slice of life content while I have the opportunity too, if that is the right name for this.
Reviwers:
ShadowKing214:Lol that would be pretty game breaking so I probably wont do that but I might do something like a powerful healing spell that that can only be used once in a blue moon or something with a super high mana cost.
Guest on Chapter 8:Gonna be some pretty powerful enemies to balance this out. (I hope, I pray for no power imbalances in my future.)
