Next chapter is up! Finally going to get in some training between Goku, Vegeta, and Frieza. But can the three of them learn to work together or will there just be more complications along the way? Enjoy :)

The months seem to fly by. Thea was now nine months old. Though no one would've guessed she was that young. It seems she skipped over learning how to walk and went straight to running. Her vocabulary is a little more extended too. She certainly has come a long way within the last three and a half months. Thea was still ever the chatter box, always trying to chat up her parents and her grandmother. Whenever there was a word she couldn't say, Frieza would say the word and see if she would repeat it. Most of the times she would. Danielle couldn't believe how just how much she's been progressing. Most babies her age cannot walk nor run like she can. And they certainly don't have much vocabulary at all. But then Frieza's highly intelligent and was always an over achiever in his youth. Thea must've taken after him in that sense. Because Danielle doubts she was that advanced when she was her daughter's age. Not much else has changed in their home. Danielle still works from home and Frieza still cares for their daughter while she works. Danielle's mom moved to the city a week ago after requesting a transfer from her job back in Oregon. They still maintain a good relationship with each other. The only thing that may change is Frieza may take up training. When they were all gathered at the Brief's Residence one afternoon, Goku approached Frieza and asked him when he may start training again. To Danielle's surprise Frieza told him soon. The saiyan asked him if he could meet up with him for training within the next week. The former tyrant accepted the offer on one condition. And that was he would only train for a few hours during the day. He refused to train for days or weeks at a time. That was perfectly fine with Goku. Though Vegeta got into an argument with the other saiyan. Stating that he refused to train alongside Frieza. It was no secret Vegeta still hated him. Quite frankly the former emperor didn't care. he'd train with the two saiyans whether they liked it or not. How else could he keep getting stronger but to spar with them. Though this time, he wasn't doing it for himself. He wanted to get stronger so that he could keep his own family safe.

When he brought it up with Danielle afterwards, she told him she was completely fine with it. He was a fighter, it's what he does. She knew this and accepted it a long time ago. "Just don't get pissed and start blowing holes in the earth if Vegeta says something to you." She told him as she was changing Thea's clothes. As advanced as their daughter was with walking and talking. She was still a baby and did very babyish things. Her newest thing being playing with her food and wearing it. The bibs weren't all that much help and Thea would still find a way to saturate her shirt and pants in her meals. Depending who was feeding her, she would sometimes grab fistfuls of food and try and smear them on her Mommy or Daddy's face. The only one who benefitted from the messes that came from these outcomes was Maze. She'd park herself next to the high chair and ate whatever food fell off or whatever food Thea would throw down. Some days were a little more problematic then others. But the parents knew it was a phase that Thea would eventually grow out of. Might as well take the bad along with the good in strides when it comes to being a parent. It was Wednesday morning when Goku came knocking, asking if Frieza was ready to train. "Hey, what's up? You still up for training today?" The arcosian was seated in front of the high chair making sure Thea finished her breakfast, when the saiyan walked in. "Just give me a few minutes, she's almost done. Just need to make sure she doesn't try and dump her bowl on the floor again. Most of Thea's cheeks and chin were covered in green mashed up veggies. She directed her red gaze to Goku while she put another mouthful of spinach and green beans in her mouth. Her hands and forearms were just as covered with food as her face. Goku blinks and rubs the back of his head. "She eating it or painting herself with it?" He asks. Frieza snorts, "Honestly, I'm not even sure at this point. Normally she eats most of it. But I guess she's not very fond of this dish." Goku eyed the green pasty food and cringed. "I don't blame her. It doesn't look very appetizing. It kind of looks like pond scum you would find in a lake somewhere."

Frieza sighs, "Yes, I've tried telling Danielle that too earlier. But she insist on Thea trying different foods as often as possible. She didn't like it when I told her it looked like something the dog threw up a week ago while we were out for a walk." Goku chuckled at that, "Well, it almost certainly smells like dog throw up. That's for sure." After another bite, Thea started swinging her spoon around. Not only that but she picked up a fistful of food in her other hand and threw it. No one would've thought a nine month old had such good aim. Because she ended up nailing Goku square in the face with the gross, smelly food. He scrambled trying to wipe it from his face and ended up getting some of it on his orange gi. Frieza began laughing like a madman when his daughter flung food in his old foe's face. Thea followed suit when she saw her Daddy laughing at the situation. "Gah! This does stink! Quick hand me a towel or something!" replied the saiyan flailing his arms about. It was then Danielle walked out in her bathrobe towel drying her hair. "What's going on? What is so funny?" Once Frieza got his laughter under control he told her how Thea decided to use Goku for target practice, via her food. Danielle just shakes her head. "And you didn't bother to grab some paper towels for the guy? Real nice." She said as she handed Goku a few paper towels. Frieza just shrugs, "Not my fault he has lousy reflexes and couldn't duck in time." So that's how it's going to be. Okay, fine she can play along with it too. "Hey, Goku. Did I tell you about the time a month ago when Thea got very bad diarrhea while sitting on Frieza's lap?" The arcosian's eyes widen and he chokes on air. "No, don't tell him about that horror story." Goku started chuckling, "No, tell me more Danielle. This I got to hear." Before Frieza could tell him to shut up. Danielle started talkin again.

"He was bouncing her on his knee. Which I knew probably wasn't the best idea at the time. Because she was having tummy issues that day. During the bouncing she got a slight look of discomfort on her face and he didn't notice. So I went to tell him, but it was too late. He bounced her up and once she came back down on his leg. Her diaper exploded like a bomb and diarrhea shot out the sides oh her diaper and shorts. All over Frieza's leg. He shrieked like a little girl when it happened. The smell was so bad. I told him he should've slept on the couch that night. Because he still stunk a bit, even after he washed it off in the shower." Now it was Goku's turn to laugh uncontrollably at Frieza's misfortunes. While Frieza crossed his arms and gave Danielle the stink eye, while muttering something under his breath. Danielle raises an eyebrow, "Sorry what was that, Dear?" She says with a hint of sarcasm. "Nothing, except you highly exaggerated one thing. I didn't 'shriek' like a little girl as you so eloquently put it. And I was in the shower for quite sometime after that. I know I rinsed off everywhere. I certainly didn't smell anything on me after that. Other then your floral soap that is." She rolls her eyes, "That's because I think after all these months you became nose blind to the smell of crap." He removed the bib that was now completely covered in baby food. Then he picked up the messy infant from her seat. "I don't think anyone could be nose blind to that abhorrent smell that day. That was truly atrocious. Anyways this little one needs a bath. So Goku, you may have to wait a few more minutes." He was about to say that was fine when Danielle cut in. "I'll give her a bath. You don't need to keep him waiting any longer. You fed her, it's only fair I bathe her." She said holding her arms out for Thea. "You sure?" he asked. She smiled, "Yeah, get out of here. Have some fun. Just please don't kill each other." He smiled back and handed Thea off to her mother. "I'll try, but no promises." He said as he leaned in and kissed her. She rolled her eyes but returned the kiss. He then kissed the side of Thea's head and told her to be a good girl for Mommy and that he'd be back soon.

Frieza followed Goku out the door and to the elevator. They decided to take the elevator to the roof and fly off from there. It was only about a five minute flight out of the city and into the nearby woods by Mt. Paozu. They met up with Vegeta who was practicing some moves when they arrived. "What took you two so long." The saiyan prince paused and sniffed the air. "And what is that smell?" he asked before spotting the green stains on the front of Goku's shirt. Frieza started snickering because he knew what it was that Vegeta smelled. Goku let out a little chuckle, "Thea decided she didn't like the food she was eating and flung it. Though her aim was better then we initially thought. Because she nailed me right in the face with the smelly food." Vegeta crinkled his nose in disgust as he got another wiff of it. "First thing I'm doing is knocking your ass into that lake over there, Kakarot." Goku dropped down into his fighting stance, "Would love to see you try, Vegeta." Frieza smirked, "That's not a bad idea at all." He quickly whipped his tail into the unsuspecting saiyan and sent him airborne. Goku yelled the whole time he was flipping through air. Until he landed with a huge splash in the water in the lake several yards behind the other two fighters. Vegeta grunts and crosses his arms. "Hopefully that did the trick. Otherwise fighting him is going to be like fighting a garbage disposal." Frieza sighed, "Guess we will find out soon enough." Goku came racing back, soaked from head to toe. "Hey, what was that for!?" Frieza snorts, "That should've been obvious, monkey. You smelled like raw sewage." The saiyan shook off the excess water. "Well a little warning would've been nice." The former tyrant grins, "You should know by now. I don't do warnings. So, what are we starting with today?"

"You probably grew slow and lazy in the past several months while you played house. Not even sure you can keep up with Kakarot and myself at this stage, Frieza." replied the saiyan prince. Frieza narrowed his eyes at this. With a mighty shout the earth started to rumble as he transformed into his golden form. When the saiyans pulled their hands away from their eyes, the petite arcosian bent into his fighting stance. "Challenge accepted, Vegeta." Normally they don't go straight into their super saiyan blue forms. But they will make an exception this time. Goku and Vegeta powered up into their super saiyan god forms and assumed fighting positions. "Let's not keep the sparring as two against one. All three of us should go for one another. Frieza if your feeling a little rusty you could always sit the first one out." replied Goku. But Frieza just gives them a knowing grin. "I don't get rusty, Goku. I just continue to get stronger." He finished his statement by rushing the two saiyans and starts attacking. Goku and Vegeta blocked the incoming attacks. And soon the three fighters were trading a series of blows in rapid succession. For the first few minutes, no one was able to deal a blow to their opponent. Until Goku managed to make contact with Vegeta's side. He retaliated by kneeing the other saiyan in the gut. While Vegeta was occupied, Frieza swung his fist at his head. Effectively knocking the saiyan prince back a few paces. Vegeta quickly recovered and went for the former emperor. He threw a barrage of punches at Frieza's face. But Frieza deflected all of them. Goku suddenly appeared beside him and tried to kick him in the back. Frieza spotted him at the last second and jumped out of the way, making Goku miss his target. Vegeta didn't stop there, he charged Frieza and tried delivering a front kick to the arcosian's stomach. Frieza barely had enought time to move when he grabbed the saiyan's ankle and swung him around in a circle and threw him back. That's when Goku came in and finally landed a hit to the side of Frieza's face. He got knocked back into a boulder from the impact, causing it to break beneath him.

Before Frieza could charge back out, Vegeta came in and rammed a sucker punch into the tyrant's solar plexus. Frieza growled and kicked the prince back into a tree. "Guess you haven't been getting slow and soft like we thought." said a smirking Goku. "Disappointed?" asked the smirking arcosian. Goku chuckles, "Hardly, was hoping for this outcome." Vegeta returns next to Goku. "So, looks like you haven't gone soft at all. Good, this means I don't have to hold back." Frieza gives him an amused look. "Really? And I here I thought you were giving me your all just this moment." Vegeta growls, "Keep it up, Frieza. You won't be smiling for much longer." Goku holds out his hands, "Remember Vegeta, we're only sparring." Frieza puts his hands up and drops into a fighting stance. "Relax, Goku. Let him have his fun." But Goku wasn't so sure about this. He knows Vegeta's hatred for Frieza runs deep. He needs to make sure neither one of them crosses a line. Frieza and Vegeta charge each other and start exchanging blows. "What made you decide to train anyway? We both know it's something you never needed in the past. Is your goal to still get even stronger so you can one day defeat us for good? Because if so, fat chance of that happening." said Vegeta as they exchanged punches. "You think you have me all figured out don't you?" Frieza said dodging the last punch. "Please, we both know everything you ever done was only to benefit yourself." the saiyan said while trying to break through Frieza's defenses. The tyrant put an end to the saiyan's assault by executing an upper cut that made contact and sent the prince back a few yards. "Is that why you think I spend my free time on this planet now?" Vegeta lands on his feet, "Did I guess accurately?" Frieza suddenly appeared in front of him, "Hardly." He then tried to execute a back spin kick at the saiyan prince. But Vegeta flipped out of the way. "Why do you train with us then?" asked Goku, who had been silently watching the whole time.

"Are you two simians really that slow to figure it out? The same reason you and Vegeta continue to train and exceed your limitations...To protect the ones we care about. I have a family I need to keep safe now." replied the former emperor. Vegeta grunts, "Is that a fact? Hard to believe the 'Mighty Emperor, Lord Frieza' has been domesticated. How's that been working out for you?" The prince said in a mocking tone. But Frieza wasn't deterred by his attitude. "Why don't you ask your wife, Vegeta? I'm sure she will explain it all to you." A vein pulsed on the side of the saiyan's head, "Why you, son of a..." Goku got between them before WWIII could start. "Whoa! Okay guys, come on! Training remember? We're here to spar, not kill each other." They took a breather for a moment before resuming. To make sure no more confrontations didn't happen. Goku took up most the sparring with Frieza. There were no more incidences after that. Goku was impressed that Frieza's strength and power didn't waiver at all during his time spent home with his lover and child. But he remembered something similar like this happened before. When he was dead for nearly a year and Goku went to him about the tournament of power. He may have been strung up in a cocoon for a long time. Yet, he still managed to master his golden form without it draining his energy very fast like the first time they fought and he was in that form. They all continued to spar for the next several hours. While they were starting to get tired, neither one backed down. All three fighters were still in their most powerful forms by the time they called it a day. Before going separate ways, Goku asked if the three of them could resume training the next day, same time; same place." They all agreed and left for their homes.

"The itzy bitzy spider went up the water spout. Down came the rain and washed the spider out. Out came the sun and dried up all the rain. And the itzy bitzy spider crawled up the spout again. Yay!" Danielle sang to Thea. The giggling baby clapped her hands, enjoying the song and the hand movements. "Okay, Lady Bug. Which song shall we do next?" She then heard knocking at the door. Danielle picked Thea up and went to open it. Frieza walked in, tired and a bit bruised up. "Wow, you okay?" He smiled, "I'm fine, just a fun a day of training...and pissing Vegeta off." Thea gave him a big toothy grin and reached for her Daddy. "Dada! Dada!" she squealed. Danielle handed the excited baby over to her father. "Hello, My Darling. Were you a good girl today?" Danielle went to grab her stuffed toy. "She was fine. But she really missed you. Throughout the day she would ask, 'Where Dada?' A couple times she cried when I told her you'd be back later. But we played and sang some songs and we were all better." He kissed Thea's cheek. Then he pulled Danielle in for one. "Glad to hear you two had just as much fun as I did."

Until Next Time ;)
