"All we know is that the second vamp was a witch turned vampire who has a death wish on Hermione because of a boy." Emmett whined but clasped his hands together, "So…where did she go, Alice?"

Alice closed her eyes briefly, "She went to talk to the werewolves…oh yes! Hermione's a genius! Her plan will work!" She shouted gleefully, and promptly started dancing around the room. Edward nodded stiffly while the rest of the Cullens stayed silent for Alice or Edward to explain. "She's combining forces between vampires, witches, and the mutts!" She ignored the expressions of disbelief from the rest of her family. "Oh don't worry. I've seen the outcome, but it isn't clear because Victoria hadn't made a complete decision yet."

Hermione's otter Patronus floated in the room. "I'm going to form an alliance with the wolves. They won't expect them with us. As long as they cooperate, we can all train together. Please but your bigotry against them aside." The white mist faded, confirming their suspicions.

"We are going to be civil with the werewolves?" Jasper asked his wife, bewildered. Alice nodded with a brilliant grin.

Jasper frowned, "I heard you right, didn't I?" Alice nodded again with her hands behind her back.

Rosalie was the first to close her jaw, "I knew I loved her!" She announced triumphantly. "Hermione is amazing!"

"What is coming next?" Carlisle asked Alice. "Will we have to meet up with Quileute wolves?"

Hermione rushed over to La Push, and apparated right outside of the Uley house. She panted and knocked on the door. A sleep-deprived Sam opened the door warily. Hermione tugged on his arm and ignored his expectant face. "There is a red-head vampire with a newborn in the area, and—"

His eyebrows shot up. "We've ran into them a couple times. I've sent a group to track her yesterday." He sighed, "We nearly had the two of them down when they crossed our borders, but Quil phased when that happened, and the leeches escaped to the other side of the border when we were distracted." He growled, and he eyes turned darker when he snarled, "And you smell like a bloodsucker right now."

"Well, can you phase and tell everyone to come here for a meeting?"

He sighed, defeated, "Sure, no problem."

"I'm going to form an alliance with the wolves. They won't expect them with us. As long as they cooperate, we can all train together. Please but your bigotry against them aside." She sent the Patronus message to the Cullen family.

Short minutes later, everybody arrived. Hermione had sent a Patronus to Luna, saying "Here's the big news: Lavender Brown is now a vampire without magic. She is working with a red-head vampire who both want to kill me. I'm at the reservation right now, and Sam is calling a meeting. I want to them to form an alliance with the Cullens and tell them about our past. Please come as soon as possible because I don't know how the shape-shifters would hear it."

She drank in all of the information while staying calm. She disapparated on the spot. Everybody sat in a small circle, but Luna who was sitting on Jacob's lap.

Embry asked exasperatedly, "Well, we first need to know what the leeches are looking for. It will be much easier to patrol."

"I know who their looking for," began Hermione. She looked down. "Me. And if they can't get me, it is Bella they are looking for."

Paul shivered, "Why, though? Do they even know you?"

Hermione addressed everyone, "All of you want to get rid of the two vampires, correct?" A murmur of assent filled the air.

"And you want them gone because they kill humans and break the treaty, am I right?"

"And want to kill you," added Jacob.

Hermione shrugged. She had plenty of threatens of death in her life. Jared complained, "Just get to the important point you've been trying to say."

Luna intervened. "She's trying to tell us to form an alliance with the Cullens." She looked away thoughtfully, "You know, I think that's a great idea."

Sam exploded, "What were you thinking—"

"I don't see why that's a problem," Luna interrupted quietly. "Everybody must see past their prejudices. Hermione and I have been fighting them for a very long time."

Jacob stared at her with genuine worry. "You've been fighting?"

"Yes." She answered him. "There are dark wizards that believe in blood purity of magic. I've been dueling dark wizards since I was fourteen, while Hermione had been facing this stuff since she was eleven."

"Really?" Quil leaned in, very interested.

"Since Alice hasn't stop me yet, I'm fairly sure the Cullens think its fine." Hermione proposed, "Would you like to host a meeting sometime soon?"

Sam answered, "As long as we phase into wolves, I think it would be alright. How about the afternoon in two days since school starts tomarrow?"

Hermione agreed and shook his hand. He wrinkled his nose. "You still smell like a bloodsucker."

She shrugged and hoped that she could bring peace—at least of a little while.

The next day, school started around the town. Jacob said to Luna, "You can take school at the reservation with me."

Luna shook her head sadly, "I'm afraid I can't. I'm going to Forks High School as a junior with Hermione. My muggle-born mother died when I was nine, and I was raised by my pureblood father after that. I'll need Hermione's help around the school." She apologized to her boyfriend. "I will see you right after school, so you can help me understand the muggle homework." she promised.

Jacob sighed, defeated. He was going to school at the reservation and was upset that he won't see Luna until the afternoon. He was worried for her about the nearby vampires, even though Hermione and the Cullens were nearby. Before then, Jacob wouldn't trust the golden-eyed coven, but since Luna said that they treated her kindly as friends, he couldn't argue.

Luna waited outside of her small house for Hermione. She didn't have a driver's license and couldn't walk or apparate there.

Hermione parked on her driveway. "Hi Luna!" she greeted cheerfully.

Luna inspected her car, "You've done a very nice job cleaning the car, Hermione. I think you've gotten rid of all the nargles." She sat down on the passenger seat.

Minutes later, they arrived at the parking lot. The two of them walked to Mrs. Cope's office and retrieved her schedule. Luna told her friend, "I think I'll be fine finding all of the classrooms. I'll probably be sitting the back of the room and keep to myself."

And that's what she did. Not many people noticed her, and if they did, she looked away and dreamed about magical animals.

It was at lunch when people came up to her. Edward was listening to everyone's thoughts around them and telling them to Hermione and Alice. He whispered, "Mike just thought, 'Holy smokes! She is even hotter than Bella! I wonder if she'll accept a date?'"

Hermione let out a little tinkle of laughter. He murmured disgustedly, "Jessica and Lauren want to be her friend so they can me more popular."

The watched Lauren approach her. She shot Luna a smile. "I hear you were new in town, Luna. By the way, my name is Lauren."

Luna didn't look taken aback. She smiled warmly and shook her hand. "Nice to me you, Lauren. I'm Luna Lovegood." Hermione noticed that she did add, "And you can call me Loony."

Lauren walked her to the table that Mike, Jessica, and Bella were sitting in. "So you're British?" Luna nodded. Lauren said, "There is another girl, her name is Hermione, who is British as well." She sneered, "What a stupid name, she has don't you think?"

"Hermione is a beautiful name it is from a Shakespeare book. In fact, she is one of my best friends. We both went to the same boarding school, even though I'm a year younger." Lauren opened her mouth to talk, but Luna intervened, "And I know you want me to join you friend group so you can be more popular, but I have friends already. Goodbye, Lauren."

Everybody who watched the scene followed their eyes to where Luna was going. She sat down at the "Cullen table". Alice tried not to burst into laughter. "How did you know? Hermione said that she forgot to tell you."

Luna shrugged absentmindedly. "I learned to read faces well. She tried to but on a kind smile, but it's more like a sneer. I was never good at Legilimency, which is somewhat like Edward's mind reading." She reached over to Edward's untouched food, "Can I take this apple?"

"Sure." He answered, "In fact, you can take all of my food."

"You guys waste so much food every day," Hermione told Alice and Edward. "And even though you buy food, so humans don't look at you guys with suspicion more than they usually do, you don't even eat it."

Edward glared at her, "Well, that's physically impossible."

"You can eat it. You'll just have to throw it up in a few hours." Luna contradicted.

Hermione grinned, and passed Alice a carrot from her tray. "Eat up."

She covered her mouth with one hand at a humanly speed and gasped, but then relented and popped the carrot in her mouth. For humor, she grimaced and scrunched up her face.

The entire table roared in laughter, causing some people to turn their heads at them.

When the bell rang, Mike walked up to Luna. Alice snickered because she already knows what will happen. Intrigued, Edward and Luna eavesdropped. Mike drawled, "So, you're now hanging out with Granger and the Cullens."

"Hermione has been my best friend for many years," Luna insisted. "We went to the same boarding school in Scotland—"

"Scotland," Mike scoffed, "I thought you're from Britain."

"I am from Britain. The school is in Scotland." She explained, with her hands behind her back. "Edward went to that school too."

Luna shot Edward, who was standing behind Mike, a look, and opened up her Occlumency shield to ask in her mind, "You don't mind that I told him, do you, Edward? I can remove his memory if you want."

Edward looked a little shocked but shook his head. Mike gaped, "Edward went to that school too?"

"Mhm. He was in a different division that Hermione and me," They both knew that Luna was referring to houses, "and he didn't complete all of his years when he moved away. It was a lucky coincidence that we meet him here."

"Are you can Cullen boy dating?" Mike demanded. Hermione and Edward tried really hard not to burst into laughter. Mike thought in his head, "Aw, c'mon! I wanted to ask her out! And gorgeous boy had to take this blonde beauty away! She's almost as pretty as the Cullens, and way better looking than both Jessica and Bella!"

"No," answered Luna, still talking dreamily.

"Are you and Hermione Granger lesbian?" He wondered but cleared his throat awkwardly. "Umm, do you want to, you know, go on a date sometime soon, like together?"

Hermione winced at his lack of grammar. Edward chuckled lowly. "No." Luna told him.

"Definitely lesbian." Mike confirmed in his mind. "Alright then." He voiced, and fast-walked to his next class.

Edward pinched the bridge of his nose as the two of them caught up with Luna. He whispered, "Mike is convinced that You and Hermione are in a relationship," he sighed.

"Hermione and me?" She blinked, interested.

"I don't even want to know." Hermione dug her hands through her brown curls and left for her AP Physics class.

Word about the new girl "Luna" and that she's good friends with Hermione and the Cullens spread around town. Mike insisted that Luna and Hermione were homosexual to his friends, who hardly believed him.

And yet none of them are aware about the magnitude of the new dangers in Seattle.

A/N: I finally finished his chapter. Did I mention that I said that I would be posting it five days ago? Yeah…about that…I kept changing it because I didn't like it. I'm still not too pleased with the second section of this story, because I cut a lot of things out that would be in the next chapter. And I spent so much of my past few days reading fanfictions and thus, less writing fanfictions. I'm working really hard on a new fanfic that's still unpublished, and I want to get a few chapters of it in before I post it. Most likely, there won't be more than one or two more uploaded chapters from this story until September. Love, a-potato-forever
