Dewey feels that no one is his family pays attention to him so he runs off, but is later found. It's no big deal. Or so it seems. But Webby's onto him. There's something strange about Dewey, and she'll find out what. She should be able to figure out what's wrong with her friend...right? Rated T for violence; no cursing. (THIS IS A SHORT STORY, SO THE CHAPTERS ARE SHORT.)

Nobody Listens Chapter 21: "Adventure Part 2"

Dewey Duck stepped out of the Sunchaser, trying to push away his demons.

He was on an adventure, why couldn't he just have this one thing?

Della, Donald, Beakley, Scrooge, and Launchpad were up ahead of them, and the kids were trailing behind.

Webby squealed and squeezed Louie until his eyes basically looked like they were about to pop out of his head, "OOOOOOOOOOOO ISN'T THIS AMAZING?! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKK!"

"Webby, get off of me, I can't breathe." Louie's voice came out muffled.

"Oh. Sorry."

Louie dusted himself off.

"Come on, Dewey! To adventure!" Webby grabbed Dewey's hand.

"To adventure." Dewey tried to sound enthusiastic, but the words died in his throat.
