Hellloooooooooooooooo! This chapter is kinda short so..sorry.

But, I HAVE TO say something. During the livestream yesterday, they released a script! The scene was SOOO cute, I can't wait to see the animation for it! AAA that script they read made me screeeaaaaammmmm! (well it was in portugese but we got he translaton about an hour later)

I was literally jumping off my walls, screaming for joy. If you haven't seen the script yet, PLEASE go check it out! :D :D

I've also been working on typing up my profile..it's reaaaaaally long and I'm still not done yet..that's part of the reason for some of the longer updates I've been taking. But don't worry, it won't take more than 3 days, 4 at most. (Mostly 1 or 2 days but no promise)

oh and also-if you review in french, that's fine but if you're wondering why the responses are a bit innacurate it's because I'm not very fluent in french. The only french I know is from watching every single miraculous episode french dubbed XD. (cause ive been watching it since the first day it came out..) just bear with me till im good at french lol. but you can still review in french if you want..it helps me improve my french anyways.

XxLoveskawaiiXx: Glad you thought it was funny haha. If they reacted everywhere it would be a bit crowded. It doesn't seem realistic for them to talk about every single thing unless they are like a super talkative addicted bunch..but we'll keep it in mind.

Chapter 36: Gabriel=Hawkmoth?

"Adrien! Adrieeeen!" Marinette's voice echoed off the empty halls of the theater.

Her footsteps could be heard in the pin drop silence. She walked up to the bathroom and knocked. "Adrien?"

A few agonizing seconds later, a small "Marinette?" was heard from inside.

"Adrien, come out. I know you're not doing anything but sitting there," said Marinette, knocking harder.

Adrien sighed and closed the door behind him. He didn't look good at all. His hair was ruffled up and his eyes were red.

"Want to tell me what you were doing there?" Marinette asked gently.

Adrien tried to smirk. "What do you think?"

Marinette sighed. "Please don't test my intelligence, Adrien."

"Ugh...fine. I was thinking."

"About?"

"You know."

"Yeah, I do. And we need to talk."

Adrien looked up at her for a long time, then sunk down to the floor. He patted the floor next to him, motioning her to sit down. She sat down beside him and said after a moment, "That isn't the only explanation, you know."

Adrien's lip trembled. "What else are you suggesting?"

"Well," said Marinette feenly. "He could just be someone who has a crush on your mother..or maybe it's just someone who looks like your mother, or-"

"Now you're testing my intelligence."

"I wasn't trying to. All I'm trying to say is..let's not jump to conclusions and..depress ourselves."

"That's a bit extreme."

"I know," said Marinette. "I just don't want you to upset yourself over something that could be false."

"Or true," Adrien's voice seemed to be coming back to him. "Marinette, what if-" his voice broke. "What if my father was Hawkmoth? I would have to..I would have to fight him, and then he-"

"Adrien, please. What would your father possibly need the miraculous for?"

As soon as the words escaped her mouth, realization washed over her and she gasped. Adrien was obviously thinking the same thing.

"To," Adrien voiced her thoughts. "To bring my mother back."

"But-" Marinette tried to think of an explanation, but the words dried in her throat.

"Would you hate me?" Adrien said quietly after a moment of silence. Marinette almost jumped in surprise.

"Are you out of your mind?"

"Probably."

"Why would you even think that? Why would I hate you?"

"If my father..if he was Hawkmoth..would you hate me?"

"Even if your father was Hawkmoth, I wouldn't give a-"

"We're fighting my own father..it's because of my family that all of this happened. Wouldn't you be upset?"

Marinette looked positively shocked. She squeezed his hand and forced him to look up at her. "Adrien, I could never, ever hate you. Your family doesn't define who you are. I'll always love you, is that even a question?"

Adrien opened his mouth, but she wasn't done yet.

"And you're jumping to conclusions again. Your father does not have to be Hawkmoth just because he had a brooch of your mother."

Adrien raised his eyebrows.

"Fine, it's possible. But let me ask you-would you hate me if one of my parents were Hawkmoth?"

"Of course not."

"Exactly!" Marinette mustered a smile. "And for now, let's not think ahead. Your father does not have to be Hawkmoth!"

Adrien stared at her. He had been worried that she was going to hate him, but here she was, comforting him. He already felt better.

He smiled a real smile. "Thank you, Marinette."

She was taken aback for a second, then blushed and looked away. "Anytime, kitty."

"Bugaboo."

"I thought we agreed on no Bugaboo calling!"

Adrien laughed and kissed her cheek. "I will never ever stop."

"Ugh..by the way, you missed an entire episode."

"You better fill me in," Adrien joked.

"Oh yes, I actually kissed you thrice but you lost your memories-"

"WHAT?!"

"Relax, idiot. I was just kidding."

"Well, you better kiss me now, then," Adrien teased, leaning in.

Marinette shoved his face away. "Earn it first," she teased back.

"Hey!" Adrien complained. "Fine."

"Now come on, before our friends get the wrong impression about what we've been doing out here."

"If they do get the wrong impression, can we go along with it?" Adrien grinned, making Marinettee blush to her roots.

"No!"

"Fine," he winked.

They walked back into the theater.

Abby sighed. "Finally!"

"What were you two doing?" Alya winked suggestively.

Marinette shoved her as she walked past. Adrien smirked.

"Will you stop it?" Marinette scolded him.

"Never!"

"So, what did i miss?" Adrien asked.

"Nothing too important. You didn't miss the umbrella scene," said Abby, playing the episode.

Sorry kids..this is rated T so I'm technically allowed to do that.. ;) if ya have no idea what i'm talking about, continue to enjoy your life. Hope you enjoyed that chapter! The next chapter will be a whole episode chapter and my friend and I still need to figure out how to put the umbrella scene reaction cause that's a hard scene.
