Before he could question anything, Naruto grabbed my wrist and the chain from before took place. Soon, we were all at the place we initially got the idea and had ended up, for some weird reason, to be our meeting point.
"Hey, how did he understood that we were stalking him?" Naruto asked as we stood in a circle.
"Maybe they were just too many of us" Sakura hypothesized.
"Oh please, if you know how to hide it doesn't matter how many people they are" Sasuke commented.
"Naru is right. He is a jounin after all, so he probably sensed us" I said, defending my friend.
"Akuma is right. Don't tell me you forgot all of your jutsu Sakura" he said, once again using the torch only for once again to be punched by Sakura.
Does this kid ever learn? I questioned in my mind even though I had asked it too many times. Also, considering the time period I know Naru, I should have the answer which I do. As you guessed it, it is a No with all capitals and some exclamation points at the end.
"You are the one who forgets!" she shouted.
"Déjà vu much?" I muttered under my breath and left out a sigh.
"We should shadow him, it will be a good practice but we should do solo this time," Sasuke said and for once again started to leave.
"Yeah, I say too. We should totally ditch Naruto and Akuma" Sakura said with a blush.
"Say what?!" Naruto questioned.
"Do not worry Naru. I am coming with you" I said as I patted him on the shoulder.
"Now, you are talking right. Come on Akuma! Let's so them that we can do it ourselves!" he said, grabbed my wrist and dragged me away from the others.
I wasn't that pleased with the idea of splitting up, especially since Kakashi sensei always talked about teamwork and the strength in numbers. But, i guess in our case it didn't matter that match and maybe splitting in two was a much wiser idea. Either way, Naru and I searched all over the village and it took us a while but we finally spotted Kakashi sensei exiting from a building. Naruto was watching him from the roof while I was hiding at the trees. When he was almost ready to lose him, we jumped from our hiding places and we ran after him.
We stopped a few seconds later only to hide behind a building. We popped our head in order to see him but our eyes widened as he disappeared. We both rushed to the spot he was just a second ago and tried to spot him walking somewhere away from us but Lady Luck was not with us that day.
"Oh, come on now", I complained and hit my leg on the ground, leaving a huff of annoyance while folding my hands in front of my flat chest.
"But how … h-how … how did he disappear?"
"Forget it Naru. We will never do it on ourselves. As much as this decision will hurt my ego and boost someone else's, we have to ask the help of Sasuke and Sakura"
Therefore, we searched for them, we found them sitting on a bench, under a red umbrella, in front of a teashop, and they were drinking tea. They drunk in sync but stopped when they noticed us.
"Hey guys, you will never guest it but…"
"He got away" Naru continued for me while both of us were rubbing the back of our heads.
"Just as clumsy as always. Seriously Akuma, I still do not understand why you are helping him" Sakura said.
"Why are you such an idiot? Both of you" Sasuke said and while got depressed, I slightly blushed from embarrassment.
"Okay, so who is next?" I asked.
"I will go" Sakura, said.
"Then, I will come with you" I offered.
"Why Akuma? Why go with her?" Naru complained and looked at me with hurt puppy eyes,
"Because I really want to help. Plus, it is funny how we run after him and try to see his mask" I said and they all deadpanned.
Too much?
Sakura and I were hiding behind some bushes. We had found sensei, standing in front of the KIA stone. The problem, he was standing there for Kami knows how long! Not to mention that it was raining. We stood and watched him for a little more but then, something did not seem right to me.
I looked at Sakura who had the same sceptical expression. We both jumped in front of sensei, only to deadpan as he was just a simply scarecrow, dressed like him. The irony huh?, I thought and left out a sigh. Why irony? Because Kakashi sensei's name means scarecrow and we were actually watching, for hours, a scarecrow!
Leaving out a sigh, I nudged Sakura with my arm. "Come on Sakura. Let's go and find the others!"
We found Naruto and Sasuke, sitting at the same bench drinking tea. When they looked at us, Sakura blushed slightly and scratched her cheek while I rubbed the back of my neck. Without saying anything, the boys understood the message and they felt into depression.
"So, Sasuke, you are the only one left"
"Hn, I will show you how it's done," he said as he stood up.
"Do you want help?"
"No, I am going solo," he said and caused me to deadpan.
Fine then, I thought and sat the bench.
The rain finally stopped and Sakura, Naruto and I were still sitting at the bench drinking tea. We all stopped and turned our attention as Sasuke approached us. From his expression, it was obvious that he also failed.
"Going solo huh?" I teased him while the other went into a depression mode.
"Hn" was the only thing he said and glared at me while I grinned.
