Harry staggered through his room on a cloudy night. He was drunk, just as he had been since the moment his father threw him in his room without a word after they'd escaped the Department of Mysteries. The first few nights Harry sat in his room pondering over the prophecy, but the deep thinking that went into trying to figure out what it all meant gave him a migraine. Instead, to stop himself from thinking, he began to drink. He broke into his father's alcohol cabinet that was only to be opened for when guests arrived and since then he'd drank ¼ of the alcohol in it.
Stupid Ron… And stupid father… And where the hell was Draco? Draco hadn't come to visit him yet, could he have gone back to school without him, impossible! But then where was he, why did he leave Harry at his home alone, why did everybody leave him alone!
'Redrawn shall be family lines and those lines will be crossed...'
Harry took another swig and gripped his hair, he didn't want to hear it, not anymore. The Prophecy had played over and over again in his head nonstop for days. He just wanted silence he didn't want to hear it anymore. He walked into a wall before walking into his bathroom. He put one hand on each side of the sink and looked at his reflection. The golden child, the perfect boy. He smiled lavishly at his perfectly chiseled face. He was so attractive, its no wonder he had everyone's attention. He looked closer into the mirror, suddenly, his eyes turned brown and he was adorned with a pair of glasses. It was the man! He was seeing the man… again! Harry jumped back, heart racing. He couldn't help but see the man every time he looked into the mirror, and he'd never forget the shock that ran through his body when he met eyes with Lily…
"Fuck that" he growled to himself. His voice always came out in a low growl these days. He'd torn his vocal cords screaming in the Department of Mysteries and they had to heal on their own. He also had to make a makeshift sling for his broken arm. Draco was really good at healing spells, but he hadn't seen Draco. His father threw him in his room and nobody had seen him… All he'd seen was the man.
"You wanna look like me? Fuck you." Harry spat roughly in his mirror. "You're not gonna look like me" he breathed, alcohol breaking his breath. He didn't have a wand, he'd lost it in the fall, so instead, he broke one of his empty Fire Whiskey bottles and took a shard to his face. He wasn't going to look like the man anymore, and he was going to cut the Prophecy out of his head forever. It stung, he started to cut just above his left eye, he was so drunk he couldn't keep a straight hand. It ended up looking like a lightning bolt going through his left eye, starting just above his eyebrow and ending mid-cheek. He looked at his work, proud. He was about to do more when a pale hand slapped the shard from his.
"What are you playing at?" Draco scowled. Harry looked at his friend through the mirror, he couldn't help but smile.
"Dre? How are you mate?"
"Better than you. You look and sound like shit and you smell of spirits." Draco looked empathetically upon his friend.
"This is my life, and voice. Couldn't heal my vocal cords myself, and now I sound like this." Harry said happily. Draco observed the boy, his voice was the least of his problems, although it did sound deeper and honestly scarier, he now had a bleeding face and his arm was never going to heal right in that sling.
"Get on your bed," Draco demanded of him.
"Cheeky."
"Stop it you fairy, get on your bed so I can heal your arm." Draco pushed Harry's near dead weight to the bed. He laid Harry down gently on his side and started work on his arm. He shook him every so often to make sure he was still breathing.
"Do you love me, Draco?" Harry mumbled in a raspy tone. Draco's blood ran cold for a moment.
"You're my best mate," he made up.
"Why haven't you seen me until now?"
Draco swallowed hard, "I've been banished from my family for going to see you today. After the fight, my dad took me and our friends to the Manor, and then all Death Eaters got the message that no one was to see you… Ever. Until The Dark Lord said so. He said you were a dangerous ticking time bomb. And I fought every day with my father to come to see you and today was the worst. He told me… If I went to see you against The Dark Lord's will then he would denounce me as a son and I would lose my family name, and that was a risk I was willing to take."
"That's a bit dramatic, isn't it? Taking away your family name for coming to see your friend?" Harry commented, confused.
Draco went silent, there was no way he could possibly ever tell Harry what the real conversation was like between him and his father, it might just be a secret he'd have to take to his grave. Draco finished healing Harry's arm, but because it had been too long it probably would not be the same, never again having the same range of flexibility. It was far too late for Harry's vocal cords too, meaning his voice would just have to remain a little raspy and an octave deeper for his life.
"Alright then, let me see your face" Draco said as he pushed Harry onto his back. Harry shoved him away.
"No I need it." Harry slurred, "I look too much like him, like the man… I can't look like him.
"You mean James Potter…" Draco bit his lip, he'd been debating with himself whether or not to tell Harry everything he knew or just let it out one piece at a time. While he was pretending to be Ginny, Ron and Hermione openly talked about so many things in front of him, he now knew basically everything they knew.
"Potter… Lily is Potter too, Bella called her that. How do you know his name?" Harry asked, eyes partly shut.
Draco took a deep breath, " When I was Ginny, Weasley and Granger told me so many things about The Order."
"Potter…" Harry said again, hardly listening to Draco, the alcohol making his heartbeat slower. "The Prophecy, it said it was made for Harry Potter… I'm related to those people in some way…"
"You think your father might be related to them? You think that's his family name?" Draco thought about this, it seemed to make sense.
"I think so, they might be my cousins or something. I bet my father would look like them had he not fucked up his face," Harry giggled violently, "And now I've fucked up my face too! Like father like son I guess!"
Draco looked upon his friend with sympathy as he laughed loudly at himself. Harry shot up suddenly.
"I'm going to go. I'm going to run away. Nobody wants me, not my father or whatever family I supposedly have out there. I'm gone, I'm tired of this bullshit!" Harry got up from his bed and started to pack a bag, filling the item with clothes and alcohol. Draco stood up too, "You can't be serious, where the hell are you going to go?"
"Away, nobody cares about me here-"
"I care about you."
"No you don't, it took you far too long to come to me, you'd forgotten me."
"You narcissistic prat!" Draco shouted. He marched over to Harry and forcefully turned the boy to face him. "I've been by your side since day-fucking-one. Anything you needed from me I got it done. Even things you didn't need! Every single bloody thing I do is for YOU! You've got your head shoved so far up your own arse you can't even see I've been living my life for you for YEARS! I broke up with Astoria for you! I got denounced by my father for YOU! I risk my bloody life with every damn mission FOR YOU! You mean to tell me you haven't seen that?" Draco shouted. Harry had never felt that small in his life.
"I have noticed… I'm sorry Draco… But I really do have to go, I can't live like this anymore."
"Then I'm going with you." Draco decided.
"No! Go home and apologize to your father, kiss up to your mum because she'd do anything for you. Draco, you've got a great life, don't throw all of that away for me." Harry told his friend.
"I said I'm coming too."
"No, you're not. Stop following me Draco! Have a bit of backbone yourself, you're too smart to be a follower! I'm going alone and-"
"Then you'll just have to kill me!" Draco shouted, Harry was far taken aback by this. Draco got up closer to Harry's face, nearly nose to nose.
"You'll have to fucking kill me, Harry, otherwise I'll follow you anywhere, with or without your permission." Harry looked deep in Draco's worn grey eyes.
"I-I will kill you then. Draco you've got too much for yourself and-"
"Then do it," Draco shook his head, "Do it then. Because I'd rather die than not be around you." There was a different sort of feeling behind his words, they were powerful, full of emotion. It was like saying words that needed to be said without saying them.
"You kissed me, you knew exactly who the real Ginny was and you chose to kiss me instead, you didn't even know of the plan Blaise and I had."
"I did it to keep you safe Dre, I knew exactly what Ron would do, I had to keep you safe," Harry explained, knowing there were more reasons. The boys were very close together, it wasn't like they ever weren't this close before, but a lot was different between them at the moment. Before they could do or say anything else, Harry's door flew open, and in came his father…

"YOU COULD HAVE HAD ME KILLED!" Ron was screaming, pacing the kitchen in The Burrow. Unlike Harry's arm, his leg had healed completely due to being able to visit actual Healers. He was furious at this Order meeting. These adults had been lying to him and keeping secrets from him for years. They actually inducted him and still did not tell him everything. They wanted to keep everything from him while demanding he tells them what the Prophecy said? Fat chance. Hermione was sitting in on this meeting also, looking angry at all the adults.
"Ron please-" Lupin began.
"Let. Him. Speak." Hermione said slowly, she was never one to openly disrespect adults, but they deserved it at the moment. Lupin fell back, surprised by the girl's actions.
"Why didn't you tell me we were going to school with the son of You-Know-Who? Is that not something we should've known? Considering every bloody thing you had us doing near him while we were there?" Ron went on. The adults were silent, unable to explain themselves.
"Ron… It is just very complicated and we knew if you knew you'd react this way." Molly said softly.
"It's not that complicated actually" Lily snapped. Ever since what happened at the Department of Mysteries she'd had this no-holds-bar attitude. She now entirely did not trust The Order, not after they chose to fight Harry rather than help him.
"Sit down boy, you want a story do you?" She demanded of Ron, who went back to his seat slowly.
"Lily…" Lupin said in a warning tone, however, Lily was too busy not breaking eye contact with Ron as he sat.
"Harry is not Voldemort's son." Lily began.
"Don't do this Lily, you're just hormonal" Tonks piped up.
"No, let her," James said, standing up for his wife. "It's about time they knew, you saw what they went through with all of us the other day. They're as much adults as we are now, go on love," he added towards Lily.
"Harry is my son… Our son," she pointed between herself and James, Hermione sat up. "He was taken from us the day I gave birth to him 15 years ago. By Voldemort and an old friend turned enemy turned friend, Wormtail. For the last 15 years, we have stretched our limits trying to get Harry back so that he could not be used by Voldemort. And even when he was going to school we were told not to go after him, for some stupid fucking reason," she added aloud to the room. "We had no idea why he took our son until we heard about the Prophecy, how he may have been using our son to gain more power. That is why we need you to tell us what it said…"
That was the reason for the meeting at the moment. Ron told The Order he heard the Prophecy, probably because he was around Harry to hear it. They wanted him to tell them what it said but he refused, citing that they'd been hiding things from him for too long. He did not want to give up the Prophecy until they promised to give up all the information, which Lily was now doing.
"I lost my firstborn son… Years ago. And every day since then my heart mends and rebreaks itself," Lily started to get choked up, Hermione felt warm tears fall down her face as well, "All I want is my son back. Some may say he's too old and some may say it's too late but as his mother, I feel it in my heart, he could come home and be mine. I felt it when I met him during the fight, he felt it too I know he did. All I want is our son back, that's it. And I'm sorry you were kept out of the loop. If it were up to me I would've told you everything in hopes you could've brought him back sooner. He may have been raised as Voldemort's son, but he's mine. He's mine and James' and all we're asking for is a bit of information, some that could possibly unlock the secret behind bringing him back to us" She finished.
Ron swallowed hard, this was the information he wanted but now he wasn't sure he was ready for it. "I'm sorry Lily, James… Shit that's a lot innit?" Ron took a deep breath. "I want to help… you. I don't want to help, them" he added as an aside to the rest of the Order.
"Now Ron-" a member started, Ron waved them off.
"You lot have hidden too much from me. And it seems to me like this is all Lily and James' business anyway, I only want to talk to them."
"And Sirius" Lily asked, seeing as Sirius was the only one she could trust in The Order besides James since they both agreed with her that The Order wanted to harm Harry. Lupin looked a bit hurt by this.
"And Sirius," Ron nodded to her. "Only James, Lily, Sirius and Hermione. That's it."
"Sounds fair." Sirius spoke up.
"I don't think so. Ron you are my underage son and I'm going to sit in on this meeting as well." Molly demanded.
"I'm not sure if I can trust you Mum." Ron said, not looking at her.
"Lily we all know what this is about," Tonks fired up, "We all know you don't trust The Order because you can't open your damn eyes to see your 'son' isn't your son anymore. He's a dangerous monster, did you not see what he did to Ron's chest with his bare hands!"
Ron felt the welts on his chest, it was done with some kind of magic so strong that no one could heal it. Harry was able to produce that with only his hands, his chest would forever read 'WEASLEY IS OUR KING.'
"Which is why he's a great asset to our team! He's more powerful than all of us put together. Working against him isn't going to work, working with him is key!" Lily fired back.
"Putting him down like a damn dog is the only thing we need to do actually" Tonks retorted. Lily flew from her seat over to Tonks, beating her senseless. It took three men to tear Lily off of the other woman, who was battered and bleeding. James was helping hold his wife back, "You're pregnant Lily!" he whispered in her ear.
"Don't whisper James, we all already know!" Tonks spat blood onto the floor. "We already know she's knocked up. Which adds to why you both shouldn't be so upset if we kill Harry, you've got another baby on the way you don't need him."
"I NEED BOTH OF THEM! THEY'RE MINE!" Lily roared like a lioness protecting her cub. "FUCK YOU AND FUCK THE ORDER! If your main goal is to kill my son then I'm out, I will do whatever it takes to bring him back and keep you lot from killing him!"
"I'm leaving too" James declared, furious with The Order.
"Me too," Sirius announced, they looked towards Lupin.
Lupin sat with his chin in his hands, he spoke "You do know that by doing this and deliberately going against the plans of The Order that you will be made our enemy…" They all looked ta him, betrayed.
"We understand, Remus." James said softly, feeling the sting of losing another one of his best friends.
"I quit too!" Ron spoke up, Molly's eyes widened.
"Ron-"
"Stop it mum! Lily has made me feel more like a member in 5 minutes than you or anyone else here has. I'm done with The Order, and I'm doing things my way, and if you don't like it I can move out." he told her. Molly's eyes welled up with tears.
"Then you will have to move out, unless Molly is ready to harbor an enemy." Lupin said simply.
"You are not going to ask me to kick out MY child from MY home!" Molly reamed him.
"Funny how caring about your children is only okay when it's not me." Lily retorted.
"Molly's son wasn't raised by Voldemort" Tonks got brave.
"Don't make me fuck you up even further Nymphadora," Lily warned her.
"Lily, James, Sirius, I think its best if you leave… The Order has a meeting to commence," Lupin said civilly.
"Sure thing… Traitor. I can't believe you, Remus, after everything James did for you growing up you turn your back on him and his son. Werewolves are supposed to run in packs yeah?" Sirius spat, Lupin went white.
"Werewolf?" Ron asked the room, "Another thing you've all kept from me? I'm finished! Let's go Hermione." Ron grabbed her hand and walked from the room, after them, James, Lily, and Sirius filed out.

Draco jumped back from Harry, looking horrified. Harry remained in his spot.
"Father," he said stiffly.
"Son" Voldemort returned in the same tone. "What've you done to your face?"
"Reckon I can't go around looking like James can I? Might scar my shit up to look more like you."
"I raised you to talk more proper than that."
"You hardly raised me at all."
"Harry…" Draco said softly in a warning tone, but his friend had other plans with his father.
"You were only ever around to torture me." Harry continued, the alcohol making him far more confident.
His father chuckled softly, "I was training you. It's because of me that you are everything you are now. Sure I beat you every time but it's not my fault you were a horrible fighter."
"I WAS A KID!" Harry shouted, straining his vocal cords. "I was a bloody kid and I needed my father there for so many things, and instead I got some bastard whos idea of 'I love you' was blasting me against a damn wall. You ever realized that? You've never even told me, your son, that you love me."
Voldemort sucked in his lips for a moment, "Why would you want me to lie to you?"
This broke Harry, every last cell of his heart shattered. For 15 years he'd waited for his father to show him some sort of father-son emotion, just to be hit with this. For 15 years he followed every order like some obedient droid, just for this. His eyes started to burn, he felt nauseous and empty all at the same time. He picked up a bottle from his nearby dresser, took a swig, then threw it at the wall behind his Father. His father pulled his wand on him.
"Give me your wand Draco," Harry said to his friend, Draco shook as he took his wand from his pocket and handed it to Harry.
"What are you about to do boy? Do you want to duel? Right here? You want to lose and shatter your self-esteem again and again?" His father laughed, Harry took a deep, dangerous breath.
"Love between us has always been fighting, the more I lost the more I loved you, father. Now it's about time you loved me…"
