Before the boys moved in, Webby had always wanted more from life. She wanted to go beyond the walls of McDuck manner. Now that she is allowed to go outside, it seems that maybe she was kept inside for a reason. Dark secrets emerge from the shadows, and Beakly is fibbing, fibbing, fibbing! T for violence, but no cursing.

25. Siblings?

Hey guys! Alright, so I dropped a bit of a bomb last chapter. (*Someone in the background: YOU THINK!?) So before I could update, I had to think of a way to give you part of the information, but not all of it. So here we are! Enjoy!

Everyone just stared at Beakly wide eyed and speechless. Beakly mentally face palmed. Oh my gosh, that was the ONE THING you weren't supposed to tell them! she thought. Everyone looked at her expectantly. Webby bit her beak and started squealing. Beakly raised an eyebrow at her. "Oh my gosh! I've got a brother! This is the best day of my life!" Webby jumped up. Liam was taken back at a loss for words. "I- I- I- I- What?" he questioned.

"It's a long story," Beakly sighed. "We've got all night," Della said, crossing her arms. "How are we siblings?" Liam asked. "Well, when a mommy duck and a daddy duck love each other very much-" Beakly began. "That's obviously not what we meant," Liam said. Beakly looked between Webby and Liam. Her eyes landed on the duckling in pink. She was jumping up and down, hardly able to contain herself.

Scrooge seemed the least surprised out of the family. Donald caught his uncle's look. "You knew!?" he questioned. Scrooge raised his hands up defensively. "Well, I knew she had a brother, but I didn't know who it was!" he said. "But why were we split up?" Liam asked. Webby had the same questions he was asking, but she was too happy to ask them. "When you were younger, after your parents... passed, some bad people wanted to hurt you. So your uncle on your father's side and I agreed to keep you apart," Beakly confessed.

Webby turned to Liam. "Hey, I never heard your last name! It wouldn't happen to be Vanderquack, would it?" she smirked. "Yes, but that's because we're related," Liam said. "I know! I just wanted to hear it out loud!" she cheered. She squeezed him tight in a hug. "I have always wanted a sibling!"

Beakly let out a sigh of relief. It didn't seem like they had anymore questions. Which meant Beakly could keep her little girl. But how long would it last now that they knew?
