"Do you need help?" Beckett asked, going to Eliza at the kitchen table.

"No, 'lexis cut my ham for me," the little girl said with a smile. "Thank you, Mommy," she added, giggling when her mother kissed her cheek lovingly.

After she had made sure the kids sitting at the kitchen table were okay, Beckett returned to the dining room table where the others were. "Here," she said to her husband, handing him the bottle of wine they'd started with dinner.

"Sorry about not bringing it over," Castle told his wife. He started pouring it around the table; though the others were telling him he didn't need to; and said, "I thought you two were going to Egypt this summer?"

"We discussed it and we decided if we go at all we'll take a year off at the school," Carter said first since he'd been talking to himself and his wife as he'd poured wine for them last. "When Hattie and Eddie are three, well, I should clarify that and say the year they're two up until that December."

"Dada," Hattie said before he helped her with getting some mashed potatoes on her fork.

"Avoiding them missing school," Autumn added before Rebecca was getting her attention.

Turning to Josie who was in between her and Castle, Beckett made sure she was eating her food and gently wiped her chin which had some of the cheese sauce from the potatoes on it. "I'm glad we started eating a little earlier," she told her husband when he looked at her.

"Yeah, Eliza made a good point that the others have to leave early too," Castle said with a nod. "They all have younger kids."

"It's funny she said that," Beckett said. "Though of course she's thinking about playing games after."

"How were they when you went over there?" Castle asked her.

"Fine, they're eating and Alexis and Louis have everything in hand," Beckett told him with a smile.

"Kate," Lily said then. When her friend had turned to her she said, "How's Skye doing about the concert?"

"Good, it's still a while until it," Beckett replied.

"You should," Castle commented with a smile as his wife was looking at him.

"Alright," Beckett said with a sigh.

"What happened?" David asked in concern.

"Nothing bad, I'm just not sure how I'll relate this since Skye and Mary told it to us," Beckett replied. She then smiled and said, "I'll do my best. But she let us know that they and the band were able to meet Adam Lambert earlier than they thought they would."

"How?" Brad said in surprise.

"They were at the Grammys in February remember," Castle told them.

"They were allowed to go?" Autumn asked.

"The band asked them to," Beckett answered before she then began to relate what the investigator had told her when they'd gone to see the band and singer at the Staples Center.

"There they are," Roger said with a smile as the group was walking up to the stage.

"Hullo," Skye called with a smile. "Thanks for letting us see you again."

"Not a problem," Brian said, shaking the investigator's hand since she was first on the stage. "I'm not sure I need to give much of an introduction, this is Adam and Adam this is the other band."

"Marvelous," Skye said as they all started to laugh. She shook the singer's hand and said, "I'm Skye, and this is my wife Mary. I'm bass… most of the time, she's lead guitar though she can play bass and rhythm. That's Jackie, nominally rhythm but like Mary can play lead. These two are Raj and Barry, our pianist and drummer."

"Great to meet you," Adam said. "Especially you, replacement."

"None of that, none of that," Skye said in an exaggerated accent before she started to laugh. "I'm temporarily occupying the position of lead singer and barely with the band."

"Should we start?" Roger then asked.

"Start?" Mary asked in surprise,

"We'd like you to sing a bit of Under Pressure," Brian explained. "Just a verse to see how it plays between you both. And to see which of you will get which vocals."

"Alright," Skye said with a nod. "I'll just need a mic." Catching one the pianist with Queen had tossed to her, she thanked the man before waiting for the song to begin.

"How'd it go?" Lily asked as Beckett paused then to drink some of her wine.

"First she wanted me to understand she was incredibly nervous doing that," she told the others. "But she was hoping that hadn't been conveyed when she'd sung with Adam."

"Adam," Carter said with a smile.

"That's what she was calling him while she told the story to us," Castle replied.

"Luckily the two weren't waiting for very long to tell her what they'd thought," Beckett then said to bring things back to the story.

"Alright, I would say Freddie's vocals," Roger said, looking at his bandmate.

"Wait, if you're going to say that," Skye started to say. "Then please ask…"

"Adam's fine," the singer said when the investigator looked at her.

"Ask Adam what he thinks as well," Skye finished saying with a nod.

"I'm fine with it, I see why you had her take his first," Adam said with a smile to the guitarist and drummer. "And why you asked them to be on this in the first place."

"But we didn't do anything," Raj said.

"I've heard your recording of Killer Queen," Adam told them. "And I Want to Break Free. You do a great job. Especially since you were recording with Paul McCartney that same day."

"We multi-task," Jackie said before they were laughing and moving so they could show Queen and Adam a performance before they left them to their rehearsal.

"Wow, I thought she'd sing David Bowie's part," Rebecca said.

"That's what Skye thought too, but you have heard her sing," Beckett pointed out to her.

"Yes, but still," Rebecca said before they were laughing together. When they'd calmed down, she said, "Are you ready?"

"For the music video?" Beckett asked. When her friends nodded, she said with a rough sigh, "Yes but it's not for a while."

"Music video?" Autumn asked in slight confusion.

Beckett wasn't surprised when her husband was talking quickly and telling the couple about the music video. When they looked at her, she said, "I did agree to do it though I'm not sure how it would work."

"Were they trying to have the three of you look similar?" Carter asked. "I've seen Investigator and Doctor McDouglas on Dancing With the Stars. You all have similar coloring."

"I think that was the idea," Beckett said. "And Skye and Mary are good friends so I want to help them out the best I can." She looked at Josie then, the baby vocalizing for a moment, and she kissed her temple before she then got up saying, "I'll check on the kids."

"We'll join you," Lily said as she and Rebecca had stood up at the same time. "We're finished?

"I am," the mayor's wife said with a laugh and a nod. "We'll have to get Alexis and Louis to take them into the family room."

"They will, though the three oldest can watch the rest of them," Beckett said.

"And the babies?" Autumn asked behind the women.

"They could, Eve and Jake would watch their sister," Lily commented.

"We can go play now?" Jacob asked as they'd heard her talking.

"Yes, but please don't fight over what you're going to do," Lily said.

"Mari, take your plate to the sink please," Rebecca said.

Beckett did her best not to start laughing at the fact that the kids were all getting up, Alexis and Louis following them. She grabbed her daughters when they came to her and she kissed them both saying, "Take Josie?"

"I was going to ask," Julia said with a smile.

"Thank you," Beckett said, letting them go.

"We'll be fine watching them Mom," Alexis told her.

"Oh don't worry, I knew already," Beckett replied, watching her going with her fiancé and the kids. She turned to the kitchen when she saw Autumn was looking at her and she realized why the woman was doing that. "I forgot, you didn't know she started to call me that," she said with a smile.

"I was surprised… her birth mother?" Autumn asked.

"She's never really around us so it doesn't really matter," Beckett said.

"What if she is?" Lily asked.

Looking at her two friends, Beckett recalled that they hadn't heard about the change in what Alexis was calling her. "She'll call me Ma; what she was calling me before she started to call me Mom," she explained to the three of them.

"How do you feel about that?" Rebecca asked her.

"Great," Beckett said. "It seemed like it should have happened a while ago, but at least it's happened now," she said before her husband; at the sink starting to fill it with water; called to her.

"We're fine here love," Castle told her. "I'll be able to wash fast."

"We'll stay just in case," Beckett said. "They're fine in the family room. And I wanted to check on dessert anyway," she added as she went over to her husband and kissed his cheek.

"When are we having that?" Castle asked.

"Soon, I hope you guys are ready to take leftovers home," Beckett said, saying the last to the others.

"Do you need us to?" Lily asked.

"Also is there enough for three other families?" Autumn asked. "You do have a number of people here."

"It's more than enough," Beckett assured them. "We're going to send Martha back to the city with food."

"And have enough for you guys," Castle added, handing David a fork. "You don't really have to do that, you're a guest."

"Yeah but we need to spend time with the kids before Dani's bedtime," the mayor said, setting a plate into the dishwasher next. "What time do you guys plan to head back?"

"You don't need to," Beckett said quickly as the Carters looked at each other. "We have blankets Eddie and Hattie can sleep on if that's alright."

"We were going to leave when you guys did," Carter said, looking at Brad.

"Well, we were going to leave when David and Rebecca did," the chief said. "Since we thought Dani would fall asleep a little later," Brad explained.

"And I think Eve and Jake wouldn't want to go just yet," Lily replied.

"Probably not," Brad said in amusement.

"Think they're making a mess in there?" Autumn asked the others.

"If Eve and Jake want to continue having the house to themselves in the mornings then they wouldn't," Lily commented.

"You started taking Sophie to the restaurant?" Beckett asked her friend as her husband was finishing at the sink.

"Yeah, everyone loves her, and she's content in a play pen in the kitchen, tucked well back from the stoves and fryers of course," Lily said. "Finished?"

"We can head over there but let me grab a fire extinguisher first…" Castle started to say jokingly as he was turning back to the kitchen.

"Come on," Beckett said in amusement as she grabbed her husband's arm. She wasn't surprised when he held her back and she told him in Irish, "They'll notice."

"I could care less," Castle said easily in the same language before he leaned down and kissed her. Since he was aware the other couples could turn and see them, he kept it quick but had made it a little rough in the time they'd had. After they had parted, he stared into her eyes and instead of walking after them to their kids he was kissing her again before they broke apart as Eliza was crying out to them.

"Mommy! Daddy!" the little girl said. "We're gonna play Charades together!"

"All of the kids?" Beckett said, smiling at her husband when he unwrapped his arm that had ended up around her waist.

"Yeah," Eliza said, nodding rapidly. She took her parents' hands once they were with her and they went inside to find that the kids were all standing. She let go of them, hurrying over to them so she could join them as they were splitting up into their teams.

"Why aren't we joining them?" Castle asked.

"The kids wanted to play on their own," Jim said.

"I'm not surprised," Beckett commented. "Since of course they're playing with the kids' version."

"I would have insisted we be allowed to play too," David began. "But according to my daughter I'm not mayor right now."

Laughing with the others Castle then asked, "Which one?"

"Mari, who else is really going to say that," David said jokingly.

When her text alert sounded, Beckett quickly stood and went to grab it off a table near the door to the room. She looked at her message and was standing there looking at the screen for so long that Lily was calling to her.

"What happened?" the chef asked.

Shaking herself Beckett turned to the others and went to sit before she told the kids, "Go ahead and play you guys."

"No, what happened Mom?" Julia asked.

Seeing that the kids all looked concerned, Beckett sighed and said, "It's Skye, she said Happy Easter from her and her family first. And second she wants me to be in another of her music videos… her and the O'Dells."

"What song?" Julia asked eagerly once her mother had finished speaking.

"It's not Queen," Beckett told her. "But one of George's, it's-"

"This Song?" Julia said, interrupting her.

"You…" Beckett started to say before she smiled. "You know already."

"Oh really? I knew but I was still guessing," Julia said, smiling herself.

"Huh?" Jacob asked.

Laughing, Julia explained saying, "I figured you might be the police officer that takes George into the court."

"How do you know they're going to do that?" Beckett asked, startled.

"Oh… Skye was talking about it to Mary at the pool in Mexico City," Julia said. "I wasn't eavesdropping, but I did hear."

"She said nothing's for sure; Dhani wants to do a tribute concert in 2023 on what would have been his father's eightieth birthday," Beckett said. "So we'll worry about it next year."

"Did Dhani ask her?" Julia said.

"He did," Beckett replied. "And she let me know he's all for me being in the video. He wants hers and Mary's daughters and other people too."

"Other people?" Castle asked.

"She said he has some he wants to be there and we can pick some others," Beckett said, reading the message that had ended up being in two parts. "But again, we have a lot of time to worry about that so you kids should start your game before you run out of time to play."

Castle laughed when the kids were suddenly scrambling to get back in their teams before they were getting the first card to start the game. He wrapped his arm around his wife's shoulders as they were watching, encouraging the kids while they were taking turns as their game went on.

April 4th, 2021

Happy Easter Evangeline!

I'm really surprised that I have the chance to write in you since we were celebrating today and it's a school night too. But Mom and Dad let me so hopefully I can write this a little quickly!

First Lizzy came and woke me up, it's funny how I used to be the first one up but now it looks like it's going to be her. I don't mind, it means I'm growing up. Luckily she wakes me up right after she gets up! So we got up and then went to Josa since Lizzy looked in on her and saw she was awake. I got to her just in time since her diaper needed to be changed but it wasn't that bad so I could do it myself.

It's funny, I mentioned to Lizzy that right now I don't want to get pregnant to have kids. She asked if I would adopt like Skye and Mary did and I thought that might be nice. But the more I thought about it… I don't know. I'm still only twelve so I have a long time to think about that really.

After we were ready, we went to get Mom and Dad and they got up after Josa made a noise. We went down with everyone and saw what the Easter Bunny gave us. I got a really cool coloring book and a candy bar from England which I can't wait to eat! After breakfast we got dressed and finally got to go outside to the back and get our eggs.

We were having fun doing that, but Lizzy tripped on a root while she was skipping and got a little scraped up. But of course she wanted to go right back to the eggs. When we finally got everything, we let Josa get her foam eggs which she loved to do. It was cute to see her crawling around and getting them, I'm eager for next year already but just because she'll be walking by then. Of course we opened our eggs and we got the usual stuff, coins, candy and stickers. But we did get a dollar bill each so that was nice, I'm saving for Spain for something- Lizzy too but she doesn't know what she's getting either.

We were sitting in a circle together on the grass after that when Josa grabbed the arm of one of the chairs and pulled herself up! And I mean all the way up though it wasn't for too, too long. She fell and started to cry but Mom helped her really quickly. But Dad said it's a start and I can't wait to see her starting to walk!

After that everyone was starting to arrive, and we got to have lunch and it was fondue! I was excited 'cause we haven't had the chance to really have that and it was so good. When we finished, we got to have another egg hunt and that was fun, just three eggs each but it's finding the eggs that makes it so fun! We got just candy this time, Jordan Almonds and that's it and I'm happy with that since I love them a lot. Oh! And before I forget we let the four babies have their own hunt with foam eggs. They were Josa- of course-, Sophie and then the twins of Mom and Dad's friends that are archeologists, Hattie and Eddie. Hattie's name's a nickname and her full name is Hatshepsut which is really cool. Anyways they had fun too and Sophie's crawling around like Josa like crazy.

We were going to play some outdoor games and started with flying kites when it got stormy and our parents got us into the house. It sucked we couldn't stay outside but we still got to play most of our outdoor games in the hall and we did that the rest of the afternoon. It was the best!

Julia paused there, debating if there was anything else she wanted to say about playing in the hall when her dad was walking in, her mother following to her slight surprise. She was about to ask in a panic if she needed to go to bed when her father was speaking first.

"We're going to wait here with you if you don't mind," Castle told her.

"I don't," Julia said with a smile. "I don't have too much left to write."

"Go ahead, you have some time to go still," Beckett replied.

Nodding her head Julia turned her attention to her diary again and then started another paragraph as she was writing again.

After that of course was dinner and I really should have known that we would have some ham. And really we just had the regular stuff with it and obviously everything was delicious. The kids went into the family room after (I forgot, we were eating at the kitchen table since there were so many of us and the four youngest stayed with their parents in the dining room) with 'lexis and Louis and after that Gram and Grandpapa came with us. We were just talking about the games and playing with the four youngest before we were deciding to play charades once the parents were back. That was fun of course, 'cause we were on our own since there were so many of us. The team that I was on lost but it's okay, I really just liked playing (plus Mari was on the other team and I'm not going to get mad at her).

Oh! I almost forgot that before we were playing Mom got a text from Skye and she asked if Mom would be with her in another music video. This time isn't a Queen song but one of George's, This Song. And I guessed right, she wants Mom to be the police officer that was in the video… well, I guess I shouldn't say that for sure since Skye wants to make sure with Dhani that it's okay if they use the same idea of a courtroom like in the original video. And Mom did say that she would be in the video so I hope that works out! Evangeline, I forgot something else too, the reason they're going to make a video, it's because Dhani wants to do a big tribute concert for his dad, in 2023 since he would have been 80 that February. I really hope it happens since I kinda get the feeling Paul and Ringo would be there. Ooh! And maybe they'd sing some Traveling Wilbury songs! I'll definitely have to keep you updated on that Evangeline since I can't wait to hear more about that too!

The rest of tonight we just played different games, we had a huge game of UNO that was really fun, and that one Brad won. After that we said goodbye to our guests 'cause Dani was finally sleeping, luckily they waited for her to fall asleep since Sophie went to sleep super early. I was sad to see them go but liked it being only our family though we just picked up everything.

That's it for today, tomorrow we're back to school like normal and I'm pretty sure that Mom and Dad are going to be writing again since they're almost done with their book they're on. And they're here waiting for me to finish so I'll stop. I'll probably write to you tomorrow Evangeline, so until then goodnight!

When she had everything back in her desk Julia said to her parents as she walked to them, "When do you think you'll finish your book?"

"We're not sure," Castle said slowly.

"What?" Beckett said in surprise.

"Do you want to finish the book before or after San Francisco?" Castle asked.

"Let's see where we are tomorrow and we'll decide then," Beckett replied before Julia was touching her arm.

"Are you excited about writing the wedding?" the girl asked with a smile.

Smiling herself Beckett nodded and said, "I just hope it's enough for the readers."

"Did you change your mind about including the reception?" Castle asked.

Looking up for a moment, since she and her husband had decided to focus their next book they'd start in the fall on a case during Moor and Green's honeymoon, Beckett then said, "A little more than we originally planned. But we still have a little more to go before we get there."

"That's fine by me," Castle said with a nod.

Julia smiled and then said, "Great, now what?"

"Someone needs to get you to bed," Beckett replied easily.

Sighing Julia said, "I knew you were going to say that."

"Sorry sweetie, but you do have school tomorrow," Beckett told her.

When Julia sighed again Castle asked her, "What's wrong? You don't hate school that much do you?"

"No, but I'm worried about finals; the teachers have been talking about them already," Julia replied.

"I think you'll do fine," Beckett said firmly. "Unless… is there one class you're the most worried about?"

"French since we're going to have to translate a paragraph from a book in front of the class," Julia said. "But Mrs. Martel's letting us pick the book as long as it's okay for kids," she explained.

"Harry Potter?" Castle asked.

"Goblet of Fire," Julia replied with a smile.

Laughing Castle brought her into his arms and hugged her tightly before he said, "I love you sweetheart. And I'm so glad you love books as much as you do," as she was wrapping her arms around his neck.

"I can't help it Dad," Julia said, kissing his cheek. "And I love you too."

Castle laughed again and then embraced her once more before he let her go, watching her going to her mother.

As she was hugging her Julia said, "I know what to say, I just hope that I can remember everything."

"You will, don't worry," Beckett told her. "We'll help you. And with anything else you're worried about."

"Math… that's about it," Julia said, shrugging her shoulders.

"That your grandpapa can help you with," Beckett said, smiling when her second oldest was nodding rapidly.

"What're you doing for P.E.?" Castle asked her.

"Just doing some fitness tests," Julia replied. "Push-ups and pull ups but we don't need to worry about passing those to pass the class. As long as we try them we pass."

"What's the goal?" Castle asked her.

"Well, for pushups it's six, pull ups one or two on our own. We have sit ups and those it's as many of them as we can do," Julia answered. "But at least more than five."

"That's a good goal," Castle said, smiling when she laughed. He hugged her as she was laughing again, and he then urged her over to her mother.

"Night Mom," Julia said, hugging her and kissing her cheek. "I love you. Also, thanks for everything today."

"I love you too sweetie," Beckett said. "And you're welcome."

"You're welcome from me too," Castle said.

Smiling at her father, Julia turned to her mother and shared a kiss with her before she waited for them to get up off her bed. Once they were out of the way she quickly said goodnight to Macca and JoJo before she was sliding under the covers. After she was ready, she let her mother tuck her in before saying, "Night Mom, Dad, I really can't wait now for Josa's birthday."

"Neither can we," Castle said to her first. "Night Julia."

"Goodnight," Beckett told her, leaning over and pressing her lips to Julia's forehead. "And sweet dreams."

"Thanks Mom," Julia said before she watched her parents leaving for the doorway. She smiled as her father turned off the light and they watched her for a bit before they were stepping into the hall. She looked up at the ceiling and sighed for a moment before closing her eyes so she could sleep for the next day and school.

Inside their room, Castle and Beckett were pressed close together as they swayed to the music that was playing on his phone set on a table near them. They were in front of the windows and when they stopped at the end of the song they stared into each other's eyes before they kissed.

Holding onto the small of his wife's back firmly, Castle slipped his tongue into her mouth shortly after. He was pleased when she was responding to him immediately and they were involved with that for a while. Panting as they parted, he pressed his forehead against hers telling her, "I'll do anything you want my love," wondering what her response would be.

"I know," Beckett replied before she tilted her head slightly so they could kiss again. When they stopped, she kept her head back as she was feeling him kissing around her pulse until she gently stopped him. She smiled as he looked at her in obvious disappointment and took his hand instead of saying anything. Pulling him to her side of the bed, she went to the drawer in her nightstand and pulled something out before she handed it to him.

"Hey, this is…" Castle started to say before he trailed off. "Is it the same as the one Scully had?"

"It's close, the shape is similar," Beckett replied in amusement.

"Ah, get it away, it's evil," Castle said, dropping it into her hand as if it was burning his.

"Then you don't get to play with us," Beckett said easily as she set down her flat vibrator on the nightstand.

"Us? Are you going to give this one a name?" Castle said.

"No, but there are two of us here," Beckett said simply, turning away from him. She smiled when her husband was quickly unzipping her dress and she shrugged it off her shoulders before getting it off her hips.

Castle was about grab his wife when she moved to the bed and kicked off her shoes before laying down and discarding her panties. As she looked at him, he swallowed hard and then hurriedly unbuttoned his shirt. Once he had taken it off the rest of his clothes were discarded easily and climbed onto the bed with her. She was sitting up and he got on his knees, not letting her say anything about that as he was more focused on kissing her for as long as they possibly could.

"Go ahead," Beckett said once they had stopped and he was staring at her. When he looked confused, she said, "I see you staring at them."

"Okay," Castle said, lowering his head. He wasn't surprised when his wife was crying out at him kissing all over her mounds and he did that for some time before stopping. He only did that for a moment and then captured her right nipple with his lips and proceeded to suckle as she was running her fingers through his hair.

Beckett did her best to withstand what her husband was doing to her and she was relieved that she could as he went over both her breasts. When he stopped, she watched him moving to her stomach and half expected him to continue to her sex before he was moving up to her again. "You know if you wanted to…" she said with a smile as he was looking at her.

"I'd rather see you playing around with your friend," Castle replied easily before he grabbed the vibrator. "To see how you use it."

Beckett nodded, smiling, and then reached for her toy before he turned it on and then held it out to her husband.

"Nice," Castle said. "Can you change the speed?"

"Yes, three speeds, but it doesn't matter because I'm not going to use this for that long," Beckett replied, smiling at him. She took the toy back and turned it off before she asked him, "Should you try it first?"

"After you," Castle replied swiftly. "I'd love to watch you using it."

"Pervert," Beckett said, not surprised he looked to be expecting that. She shared a kiss with him before she was laying down on the bed with his help. She turned on her vibrator but turned it off swiftly after that.

"You're going to wear out the battery doing that," Castle commented as he watched her.

"I want you to touch me first," Beckett replied.

"Sure," Castle said, reaching down and immediately beginning to rub at her clit. Watching her he wasn't surprised that she was soon after writhing around on the bed and he looked on for a while until she reached up to him, stopping him before he could push her to her climax. "Now you're going to try your toy, right?"

"I will," Beckett said before she was putting the toy down to her sex. Before she could touch her skin, she turned it on and then set it down carefully, making a jerking motion before she settled into the sensation of it stimulating her clit.

"How does it feel?" Castle asked her.

"As if you were rubbing your tongue on it constantly," Beckett told him with a brief smile.

"I wouldn't be that fast," Castle said. When she didn't react to it he smiled and then watched her seriously as she was arousing in her movements. After a while she was turning it off and he was about to speak to her when she was doing so first.

"I need to, or I'll get off too quickly," Beckett said.

"Do you mind?" Castle asked her.

Shaking her head Beckett reached up and gently cupped her husband's cheek before telling him, "I don't, I like lingering though I won't do that for too long."

"Good," Castle said.

"If you want to pleasure yourself while I do this you know you can," Beckett replied in amusement as she watched him. She watched him thinking that over before he finally spoke as he reached down to her vibrator.

"I'll decline, I prefer watching you," Castle said. He looked on while his wife was moving to press the toy to her swollen nub and as she was moaning, he was biting at the side of his mouth. The sound of her arousal was highly affecting before she was reaching for him and then touching his erection.

"Don't stop me," Beckett said firmly though her voice started to shake at the end. When she was at the tip of him, she was gently rubbing her finger over the fluid there before she brought it to her mouth.

"Do you want me to pleasure myself?" Castle asked his wife breathlessly.

"No, I'll hurry," Beckett said, squeezing his hand before he could say anything in response to that. She then proceeded to run the toy around herself so she would have the sensation all over. That proved to be enough to break her and she was throwing her head back, crying out in pleasure at the sensation though she was still holding onto her husband's hand so she would have a connection to him.

When his wife had begun calming down, Castle reached over and took the toy, turning it off before he could set it aside. "One of the best things you could have," he told her once she had opened her eyes and she was looking at him.

"I don't know, this is nice too," Beckett replied, lightly fingering his erection.

"Then both?" Castle asked her.

Laughing softly and briefly, Beckett pushed herself up and she said, "I agree, though I prefer something far more…"

Clenching his jaw as she was wrapping her hand very gently around his length, Castle reached down and took her wrist before saying, "Not yet."

"No?" Beckett asked before her husband was leaning down to her to kiss her.

"No," Castle replied as he slowly pulled away from her. He smiled and kissed her a second time before he was moving away from her and then saying, "When I come…"

"You can be inside me," Beckett replied easily. "Since of course I'm controlling this."

"Why-" Castle started to say.

"You need to hold yourself up," Beckett said. When she saw that her husband was about to protest when she added, "So I can get on you at the end."

"Could…" Castle started to say before he trailed off.

"Tell me," Beckett told him.

Breathing out heavily Castle said, "Pleasure yourself at the same time."

"With my hand?" Beckett asked.

"With the toy," Castle said, nodding to it in her hand by then.

"Alright, don't worry," Beckett said as she was moving to straddle him. "I'll make sure we're both coming in the end."

"Together," Castle said hurriedly.

"Together," Beckett said with a smile. She waited for him to pick up his member off his stomach before she turned on the toy and brought it down underneath the straining length. She wasn't surprised when he swore suddenly, and she was about to speak when he did so first as he was grabbing her wrist at the same time.

"That's going to be way too much," Castle told her seriously.

"Don't worry," Beckett replied. "I was just wondering how that felt."

"Amazing but it's… very sensitive," Castle replied seriously.

Beckett, studying his face, then smiled before she leaned over and kissed him on the lips before she was slowly pulling back. "Should I continue," she asked him.

Loving the way her eyebrow was arched slightly, Castle nodded and was able to tell her, "Don't start where you were there."

"I won't," Beckett replied before she turned the vibrator back on. Turning her attention back to her husband she lowered it to his length, having it on a lower speed and carefully running it up and down. She watched him carefully, making sure to try and spot his climax since she needed to be ready for it. It didn't take very long to reach that moment and as soon as she saw it, she was tossing aside the toy and mounting him with his help.

Castle suddenly recalled that he'd asked her to stimulate herself at the same time, but she obviously hadn't. He couldn't really comment on it as they were both climaxing and he hoped she'd pleasured herself in some form to bring that orgasm. Only thinking about that briefly, he was losing his focus to the ecstasy he was feeling and he lost all sense of time willingly to take everything in as they were slightly moving against each other. When they had completely stopped, he helped his wife off him and they laid down before he pulled her against his side. As soon as he felt he could speak he asked her, "Does that count as playing around still?"

"It does," Beckett replied. She kissed at his jaw a few times and then relaxed against him saying, "That was great." They were silent for a while before she raised her head and asked him, "What do you think of it?"

Knowing already she was talking about her vibrator; Castle ran his hand up and down her bare back as she'd moved to her stomach. "I love it and I still want to take it with us."

Smiling Beckett said, "Good, I'm intending to pack it." She then nuzzled his lips for a moment before telling him, "I can't wait."

"Neither can I," Castle said before they were kissing each other hungrily. They were passionate immediately and he wasn't sure how long they did that, exchanging multiple kisses until they were breathless. At that point they turned onto their sides before he said to her, "I want to…"

"Please," Beckett breathed out, moving with him. She was on her back at that moment and pulling him on top of her before he slid his erection in between her legs. She let out a cry as he thrust within her folds instead of in her sex, and she hooked her legs around his before she did her best to move with him. Their orgasms at that point were incredible and she was nearly breathless though it didn't last for very long as she was calling his name a few times. When she felt her joy stop, she was slightly limp on the bed while her husband was thrusting a few more times and then stopping completely. As soon as he had she was wrapping her arms around him slightly, kissing the side of his head where she could before he started to groan.

"We're really playing with fire love," Castle told her seriously.

"I know," Beckett said with a smile. When he raised his head and looked down at her she said, "I didn't mind."

"Is that it for tonight?" Castle asked her.

"I think it needs to be," Beckett replied easily. She smiled when he sighed but still got off her, and she hurried to lay against his side as soon as he'd done that. She kissed his jawline and then said, "But we can do this," not surprised when he raised his head immediately.

"You don't think that'll be playing with fire too?" Castle asked her.

"No, but I don't want to go to sleep right now," Beckett said firmly.

"Okay," Castle said before he was moving so he could kiss his wife. He did so gently at first and then deepened it before they needed to stop. That didn't last for long though and shortly after they were kissing again. They were doing that repeatedly before they stopped to catch their breath and once they had he said, "Maybe we should stop that at least."

"I know," Beckett said, as she'd been more than prepared to let him kiss her and more at the end of their kisses. She cupped his cheek and they shared a tender kiss before she asked, "Memory?"

"Yeah," Castle said, speaking slowly.

"What do you have in mind?" Beckett said as she was looking at him.

"It was in… June," Castle said. "The end of June," he said, speaking slowly as he was thinking that over. "Could I get my phone?"

"Go ahead," Beckett said with a smile, watching him moving to go ahead and grab it. She looked on as he was checking the calendar and asked, "Which day?"

"The twenty-ninth," Castle said, pointing out the Wednesday. "In 1927 so Julia was five by then and we were waiting for Eliza to join us."

Nodding Beckett said, "I was five months by then. What's so special about that day?"

"Nothing really," Castle replied. "It was summer, so Julia was at home with us… no I know what we did. We went to Alpine Lake with all of your family for the day and were sitting around it once we got there while Patrick took Julia down to the water," he said while he was setting down his phone and wrapping his arms around his wife before he continued.

"Should we go after them?" Kate said as she turned to look at her husband.

"I think they're doing swell," Rick replied though he wasn't taking his eyes off their daughter.

"He's right, Patrick knows to keep a good grasp on her," Rose told her sister reassuringly. Seeing her twin looked annoyed she said, "We'll all watch out for her Katie."

Sighing as she realized how foolish she was being, Kate placed her hands on her stomach before she said, "I'm sorry, but I'm just all at sixes and sevens now with the baby," shaking her head.

Reaching over to his wife, Rick took her hand and squeezed it before saying, "It must be the weather. How would you like to twiddle your toes in the lake?"

Kate, though she knew his weather excuse was balderdash, laughed lightly and then got up with him so they could walk together into the water.

"Ma!" Julia said happily as she noticed her and her father joining them.

"Are you having fun?" Kate asked.

"Yes Ma, the water is chilly," Julia told her.

"Do you think you can swim at all?" Rick asked.

Looking out at the water Julia soon nodded rapidly before she said, "But I don't know how to Da."

"I'm going to show you," Rick told her. "If your ma will let me."

"Go on, I'd like her to swim well," Kate replied.

"Come with us love?" Rick asked his wife as he took Julia's hand and Patrick was turning back to return to the others.

"Alright," Kate said with a smile, glad he wasn't concerned about her since she was pregnant.

Stepping through the water with her parents, Julia smiled up at them both before she could feel her feet coming off the bottom of the lake and she cried out.

"It's alright," Rick told her. He squeezed her hand before he said, "Time for you to grab my hand." When he was sure she'd let go of Kate's he brought the little girl in front of him and he instructed her in how to kick her legs before she was doing it on her own.

"That's swell honey," Kate said when her daughter called out to her eagerly.

"Can I go under now Da?" Julia asked as her father stopped her and then helped her into his arms.

Once she was set Rick looked down at the girl and then asked, "How did you like that?"

"Swell Da!" Julia cried out in joy. "But couldn't I go under?"

"Quickly," Kate said as her husband was looking over at the. "And hold on to your da," she added.

With a nod, Julia waited for her father to count before they were ducking under the water. She'd held her breath just before and made sure to open her eyes, spotting her mother near her before they were resurfacing. "That was fun," she said to her father.

"Would you like to again?" Rick asked with a smile.

"Yes please!" Julia asked eagerly.

"You may," Kate said in amusement.

"Come join us again Ma," Julia begged her.

"Alright," Kat said, not really having to take long to answer that. After that they were soon ducking under the water and she waved to her daughter as she was doing the same to her. Back up above the water, she said to her husband, "I'll go on and swim to the island love."

"Alright, we might join you," Rick replied. He waited for his wife to protest, but she merely smiled at him and he and Julia were soon watching her swimming to the island.

"Could we go too Da?" Julia eventually asked her father.

"You want to go now?" Rick said to her. When the little girl nodded rapidly, he was smiling before he helped her onto his back, and he was swimming them out to where Kate was standing in the water. As he was setting their daughter down, he admired his wife in her bathing costume and did his best not to make it so obvious as she was hugging Julia.

"I see you made it honey," Kate told the little girl as she hugged her.

"Da swam us both Ma, but it was the cat's meow," Julia replied eagerly, smiling at her father as he stepped up to them.

"My pleasure," Rick said, bowing to her and making her laugh. He then said to his wife, "How long are you planning on staying here?"

"Not very long," Kate replied before she went to the water and hurried in.

"Ooh! Da, let's go she's getting away!" Julia told her father. She climbed onto his back as quickly as she could before he was swimming after her mother. She cried out in her joy until they were reaching the other shore. She was laughing heavily and happily in her joy at the way it went before she was hugging her father. "Can I go in with Uncle Patrick?" she then asked.

"If he wants to go with you," Kate said.

"I'll be happy to," Patrick himself said as he walked over to them.

Watching her brother in law taking Julia back into the water, Kate smiled and then turned her head to her husband as he was touching her arm. She soon grew serious as she saw he was and she wrapped her arms around him, not caring her family would see what they were doing as their lips met in a deep kiss.

After they'd parted from their kiss, Beckett smiled at her husband and said, "Luckily we only did that once."

"I know, we had too much of an audience," Castle said as he nodded his head. He then smiled and told her, "But the rest of the day was swimming, having lunch and more swimming before we played badminton and then one last round of swimming. We left and went back to the inn we were staying at since we didn't want to head back to Mill Valley just yet."

"It was fun," Beckett told him. When her husband nodded, she laughed slightly and then said, "That's a nice memory."

When they were both silent for a while Castle caressed her hair and said, "You're thinking of Mill Valley aren't you?"

"I am, but I really think we need to focus on our book and then Josie's birthday," Beckett told him.

"Actually," Castle said, holding onto her a little tighter then. "I think I'd like to focus on you." When his wife laughed softly, he then said, "Vice versa?"

"Of course," Beckett said with another laugh, laying on her back and pulling her husband on top of her so they could kiss passionately. She wasn't surprised when they became lost in one another and continued to do so as they didn't feel the need to stop being as close as they could in yet another kind of intimacy they could share only together.
