That night I did not get much sleep. I only waited for Mard to get back. Afraid what would happen if he did. It was late when he finally came back, but to my relief was he too tired for anything. Pretending I was fast asleep as he came back, frightened. Fairy Tail Industries was probably doing everything they could to find Natsu. Thinking off my friends that were out there fighting this battle, I hope they are all safe.

"You look beautiful, Lucy." Kyôka said it coldly before she looked the other way, like she had been ordered to compliment me. Clearly jealous of the situation. Here I was, trying my wedding dress with a bunch of strangers. I studied myself in the mirror, imagining how this day would be in other circumstances. Dressed from head to toe in white. Tracing my fingers over the light fabric, feeling like I was wearing someone else's dress. Personally, I preferred lace and a mermaid cut for the dress, so this long silk gown wasn't doing it for me.

"Thank you." I hadn't given much thought for who I was going to marry or in which dress, but at least I thought that I would choose my own husband. At this time, it all felt so surreal. I never actually thought it would go this far, and now here I am. Delusions as I was, I really thought Natsu was going to rescue me somehow. The woman altering my dress, gave me a sympathetic look, clearly reading the situation right.

"I wonder." Watching Kyôka as she approached me from behind, sliding her fingernail over my bare shoulders. Holding her gaze in the mirror. "What would Mard say if that perfect skin of yours-"

"Kyôka." The sound of Mard's voice paralyzed her, I could hear his footsteps coming closer. "Are you trying to provoke me on my wedding day?"

"No, sir." Embarrassed, she stepped back.

"And you?" I turned around to see Mard's eyes were fixated on me.

"I-"

"I made myself clear, didn't I?" The tone in his voice was hard. All the other girls were about to leave, when Mard lifted his hand, signaling them to sit back down. I froze as Mard grabbed a hold of my neck and the other one at my waist. "Next time you try something like that, I will shoot him on the spot." Whispering into my ear, before biting down on my earlobe. "We can't wait." I looked confused up at his reflection. What did he mean about that? "The wedding is expedited due to your little stunt. Today."

"B-But, what about the ceremony? That won't be finished in time for today?" suddenly feeling very sick as Mard trailed kisses along my skin, possessing me.

"Everything is already taken care off, you are the last piece." Mard's hot breath brushing against my skin made me shiver. Closing my eyes holding back my tears, everything was suddenly happening sooner than I imagined. I felt so little under Mard's touch, there was nothing I could do to stop him at this point.

"Great."

"Kyôka, keep an eye on her."

And with that had Mard left. I felt empty as I looked at myself in the mirror. Just in a few hours, I would be married to a man I would never love. My whole presence was gone, feeling like I moved around in my own bubble. Watching people around me, fixing my dress, doing my makeup, stressing to get everything perfect to this wedding. All I could think about was what my world would be like if I hadn't bumped into Natsu that day. Then I wouldn't be here today, feeling this way. But I'm glad I did. If not, I wouldn't have shared those incredible moments with him. Some were frustrating and hurtful, some amazing and passionate ones, leading up to this moment. If I were to live without him, that stubborn man, I don't know what to do. They pushed me into a car, not bothered by anyone, looked I outside my window, watching as the sun was about to go down the horizon. I watched the city and the colorful sky, with an empty look on my face. Admiring the colors dancing across the sky.

The timed had come. It was time for me to walk down the aisle. I stepped out of the car, leading up to one of Tartaros hotels. We took the elevator up to the rooftop, while they handed over a purple flower bouquet. Standing behind a large wooden door, waiting for it to be opened. My pulse increased as it slowly opened for me. Almost everyone from Tartaros Corporation was there and I met Mard's hungry eyes at the end of the aisle. I kept my gaze locked to the sky, afraid I would show some emotions. The sky was beautiful, burning with desire.

I smiled weakly at Mard who reached out his hands to me. Smiling satisfied, finally getting what he wanted. I wonder if he only wanted to marry me because he had taken interest or just to take away what Natsu had, as a rival. Laying a sweet kiss on my cheek. It was a long time ago, that I had seen this side of Mard and not the possessive one.

"We are gathered here today, to celebrate one of life's greatest moments." Suddenly when the priest spoke, my body trembled, forgetting to breath as I tried pulling myself together. Feeling the tears pressing on the back of my eyelid. "-take Lucy Heartfilia to be your beloved?"

"I do." Shocked I looked up at Mard, not able to control my emotions anymore. Feeling the warm tears sliding down my cheek.

"And do you Lucy Heartfilia, take Mard Geer to be your beloved?"

"I-"

GENERAL POV

With his hands still chained to the table, sat Natsu in the basement of Tartaros Corporation. While his lover was supposed to be marrying another man. Jackal stepped into the interrogation room where Natsu were held captive.

"Oh man, you look so pathetic." Walking towards him, only to gloat over the Fairy Tail Industries boss.

"What do you want?" Natsu were weak, as he needed badly medical attention.

"I thought you wanted to hear the news on your ex-girlfriend?" Getting his attention, laughed Jackal triumphally. "Due to her visit last night, the wedding is expedited to today." With all the force he had left, furious by the news pulled Natsu in the chain around his wrist.

"I will kill every single one of you."

"Is that a threat?" Jackal seated himself at the table before Natsu, just enough to be out of reach. "You're not in the position to come with threats now." He wandered around the room, pulling out a knife from his pocket. Playing with it in his hand. "Actually, I came to have some fun." He wasn't joking around, even though with his cat ears, this man was deadly. Jackal had some unfinished business with Natsu. With a swift motion had Jackal jumped after Natsu, but to his surprise, fell jackal lifeless onto the table before him. Natsu looked confused up before him.

"Rouge?" With blades in hand, stood the man he hadn't seen in years before him.

"I told you that you needed my help."

"Where the fuck have you been!?" Natsu's way of showing he was grateful was by being angry at Rouge. "You just disappeared when Lucy was missing! You said you were onto something and then you just went under the radar!?"

"Good to see that you haven't changed." Rogue walked over to the table were Jackal's body was lying, firstly pulling out the knife he had in the back of his head, before unlocking Natsu's chain. "I found her, but it was too risky telling you anything."

"What!?" The second Natsu was free, grabbed him a hold of Rouge's collar.

"Everyone knows by now that your willing to die for each other, it was the safest way for everyone." Natsu didn't even answer, before he let go off him. "I have kept an eye on her since that day, she doesn't know I have infiltrated Tartaros."

"We don't have time for this shit, I need to find her." Natsu was suddenly in a lot of pain, holding onto his stomach wound. "Fack."

"You need to get to a hospital."

"After we stop this wedding."

The pink haired man was not going to let Mard Geer get trough with his plans, as the table had suddenly turned. Rouge had managed to stay undercover in Tartaros Corporation for almost two years. On their way out, told Rouge everything to Natsu, how he had waited for the perfect moment to take action. After Lucy had lost her memories, was it too risky contacting her, not knowing how she would react to his information. After all the lies Mard had told her and Gildarts, that would have only confused her.

Natsu walked past dead bodies, as Rouge showed him the way out. For a moment he was reminded how good Rouge was when it came to his work, killing everyone in his way. Natsu stumbled forward, loosing his balance. Quickly Rouge grabbed him, holding him up. After loosing a lot of blood, was he doing his best to keep himself up on his feet.

"Natsu!" Natsu looked up where the familiar voice came from.

"Gray?" He rushed over to Natsu's side, helping Rouge.

"Where is Lucy?"

"They expedited the wedding." Rouge's voice was worried. "I thought I had time to help her out before the wedding, but Mard…" Gray understood what he meant, he knew they would try to do something to prevent it.

"Do you know where it is?" Gray waved his arm over to the other guys who came running towards them. Jellal and Gajeel was wearing bulletproof vests, carrying bags full of weapon. They handed out vest and guns for everyone, gearing up. "We did as you told, going after the new hotel, but we got ambushed."

"He probably knew, as it was obvious place to have the wedding." Rouge thought to himself where Mard could have change the location. He must have known Fairy Tail Industries would try to stop him, making a trap for them.

"So, we don't even know where this fucking wedding is!?" Hissed Natsu between painful breaths, pushing the guys holding him up away.

"He must have planned this for weeks. It was supposed to be at the new hotel."

"But it wasn't! And now he got my woman!" Storming of, not wasting anymore time. Mard was doing all this to humiliate him, to destroy him. Natsu thought about why Mard was doing this, why he absolutely needed her, needed his Lucy. He tried to manipulate her when she lost her memories and failed, now changing tactic taking her by force. What was the best way to humiliate him?

The guys followed Natsu, worried to provoke the frustrated man, who tried to figure out where Lucy could be. Suddenly he stopped, he finally figured it out.

"He's on my turf!"

"The hotel close to the Fairy Tail Industries?" Gajeel asked questioning. "How do you even know that?"

"That can make sense." Said Jellal, backing up Natsu's conclusion.

"Don't hang around, let's go!" Gearing up for the infiltration, to prevent the wedding. Natsu walked with determine steps. "Just wait for me, Lucy." Whispering to himself.

The battle began as they arrived at the heavy guarded hotel. Giving Natsu hope that it was the right place. It was soon getting dark, so he was afraid he was running out of time. Trying to be quiet as possible, had the guys covered their guns with a silencer. They jumped out of a van, outside of the entrance, shooting every man covering the door. Quickly moving inside, holding their firearm ready. The receptionist pulled out shotgun from under his desk, at the sight of them. Jellal shot him controlled in the head as they kept moving further in. Gray signaled for the stairs, safest way to explore.

Fighting their way past the security, all the way to the top. Killing every man in Natsu's way. A gunshot flied trough the air, hitting Gajeel in the back, making him fall to the ground. Natsu swiftly covered him. He breathed heavily for air after the compact, touching his back where he was hit. Slamming his fist on his bulletproof vest in relief.

To their surprise, were more people coming behind them, trying to stop them. While his comrades were fighting them, saw Natsu the flowers beside the large door leading to the rooftop. Instinctively he threw himself at the door, slamming it open.

"Lucy!"

He laid eyes on his beautiful woman, standing beside Mard, wearing a wedding dress. Lucy looked at him in shook, not understanding what was going on. She stood there for a few seconds, frozen at the sight of Natsu. With tears in her eyes gave Lucy him a weak smile, glad to see his stubborn face. He tried walking towards her, but his knees were weak underneath him. Lucy saw the state he was in, and was about to run towards him, as Mard stopped her. With a firm grip on her wrist, pulled Mard her into his embrace.

"Natsu!" Trying to get loose from his hold, but froze as she felt cold steel, touching her skin. All the so-called guests, stood abruptly up, facing their own weapons at Natsu. Then Jellal, Gray and Gajeel came running up behind him, covered in blood. They were out of Ammo, only equipped with close combat weapons.

"We meet again, Natsu." Mard laughed. "I didn't expect you to come this far, but time is not your friend." Natsu held a firm hold at his bleeding wound.

"Let her go."

"I can kill you on the spot if I'd like too." Mard pushed Lucy aside, walking over towards Natsu. "But I would like to give you one last fight. Just for fun." Natsu laid down his gun, pulling out two knives as he tried to get back on his feet.

"Let's settle this once and for all."

Mard was about to attack, but two small hands, stopped his movement and pulled him back. Lucy walked between the two men, facing Mard. All the sadness and fear were gone in her eyes. He was surprised to see her like this. She held out her hands to Natsu, wanting his knives. Clenching his teeth in frustration, not able to protect her. He gave in, handing them over.

"Fight me instead." Ripping up her wedding dress. Mard looked intrigued at her

"As you wish."
