Weeks Later
Brooke took ahold of his hand in hers. As Lucas gripped the steering wheel tighter. Focusing his gaze on the road. With the trunk packed full of the couple's suitcases.
The two were on their way out of Tree Hill for their weekend away.
Lucas eventually parked the car outside the airport.
Brooke got out of the car and walked towards the trunk. Opening it as Lucas joined her and took ahold of the suitcases. Closing the doors and locking them shut.
As she walked ahead. Opening the door to the airport.
Brooke follows his lead towards the various lights and camera flashes.
Once they make it towards the entrance of where they need to be.
Brooke takes her suitcase and grabs his hand tightly in hers.
The couple then go through the gate together.

Hours Later
After hours of flying Brooke is awoken to his lips on hers.
The smile on her face beams as she kisses him back.
Lucas leads the way off the plane. Finally making it to their intended destination.
Brooke looks back at him puzzled. "Where are we.?"
"Cape , full of quaint villages, seafood shacks, lighthouses, ponds and bay and ocean beaches.A place neither of us have ever been. A new first for us to experience together." Lucas replied.
Brooke leaned over kissing him happily. "I don't want to miss a second of this trip. I want to see and do everything." She said.
"We will first though we have to stop by the house and drop off out suitcases. I bought a place for us here. To stay whenever we visit. It's spacious, colorful, plenty of room for us, the kids, and family/friends to come stay." Lucas replied.
"You are full of surprises. I can't wait to see it." Brooke said.

Sometime Later
The home was steps away from the beach. Full of windows. Bringing in natural light. Brooke was stunned by the amount of space, color, sense of home she felt as she walked further into the home.
She could easily tell he must of snuck over here and got things ready for their arrival.
"We should unpack and we can have dinner. Unless you have something else in mind.?" Lucas asked.
Brooke leaned over kissing him softly.
"That sounds perfect. I'm going to video chat and check in with our kids then i'll join you up there." Brooke said.
Lucas nodded his head in agreement and took the suitcases up the stairs.
A smile coming across his face as he overheard the combined voices of his children with the woman he loved so much.
Lucas made his way through the hallway straight into their bedroom.
He placed down his suitcase and hers.
An intense case of nervousness overtaking him. As he looked over the ring box in his pocket.
It was long over due. He was going to ask Brooke to marry him tonight after dinner.
