Twenty Five

Jackie and Hyde walk hand in hand into their home both feeling tense,

"They replaced the telly. The locks look secure "

"Yeah. Listen you get upto bed while I make us some food" Jackie nods her head watching her husband concerned,

"You are okay right?" Steven nods forcing a smile,

"Your lying. Steven I know how hard it is for you but please don't fall apart on me...I need you" Hyde pulls her into him and strokes her hair,

"Jackie I have no intention of crumbling . I have you and your all I need okay i just well I'm mad at myself for letting that woman into our home" Jackie strokes his cheek,

"Baby it is not your fault. Remember what you told me when my dad came back " hyde nods his head slowly sighing,

"Compared to them we are going to look like saints!" Jackie laughs lightly,

"Steven we are going to be fine"

Jackie lay fast asleep as hyde gently places a tray of food down onto the bedside table, he sits and watches her his heart pounding as she really was so beautiful. He was mesmerised by her as he lightly places a loose hair behind her ear, before heading out the room. Hyde grabbed a pop out the fridge and then double checked the new locks on the doors, satisfied he sits on the couch and puts on the new telly.

Kitty was in the kitchen when in walks Laurie making kitty frown,

"Oh uh Laurie what is it?"

"Good to see you too mommy. Listen please don't be like that I miss you and daddy!"

"Please laurie I have no time for the full routine so get to the point!"

"Fine I have nowhere else to go...please mommy I am sorry"

"Go upstairs and put new bedding on your bed. Your dad will be home from work later. I'm going to check on Steven and Jackie see you later "

"They going to eat all those muffins?"

"They are for Jackie and the baby"

"Baby?! Jeez they work fast!"

"Don't start madam now if I were you I'd prepare your apology to your father" kitty leaves the house carrying a basket filled with food.

Jackie woke up and lifts herself up slowly feeling cramp and achey, she smiles as she notices the tray of food on the bedside table. She lifts herself off the bed wincing as she hobbled to the ensuite,

"Doll why didn't you call me?!" Steven rushes over to her and helps her walk into the bathroom,

"Ow! I'm so fed up of this crap!"

"I know it won't be long now doll!"

"I'm losing my digity this baby better be worth it!" Steven smiles lightly stroking her hair before helping her up off the toilet,

"Now you lie down and eat some of your food, do you need anything else?"

"Maybe a herbal tea "

"Coming right up baby "

"Thank you Steven. You are being so sweet"

"Anything for you doll!"
