Eda landed out in front of Lilith's Manor. She was ready to end this leech's life for all the pain he put Luz through. Lilith opened the door and moved out of the way.

"It's time, Edalyn."

"I'm going to kill him."

On the table in the dining hall, was loads of vampire hunting equipment. Eda grabbed an ammo belt full of stakes, several bottles of Holy Water, and a custom crossbow.

"Oh, my beautiful crossbow, how I've missed you." Eda said.

"I still don't understand why you never took it with you." Lilith said.

"After we failed to take him down before, I tried to get away from anything that reminded me of that day."

Lilith grabbed a large knife, spun it a little in her hand before placing it in a sheath attached to her waist. She grabbed two stakes and placed them in a belt.

"The Clawthorne Sisters are back." Lilith said.

"Vampires beware." Eda said.

"Never thought we'd say that again."

They summoned their staffs and flew towards Alaric's castle. At the Owl House, Luz was inside her coffin that Eda brought over from Lilith's manor. She spent most of her time inside it since her mother was murdered. She didn't have the energy to do much; she didn't eat, sleep, and she cried so much she's certain she ran out of tears. She heard her door open and she assumed it was King. When they started talking, she quickly realized who it was.

"Luz, please come out."

'Amity.'

Amity tried to open the coffin but it was locked.

"Who puts a lock on the inside of a coffin?! Luz, please come out."

Luz stayed still for a minute until she unlocked the lid. She opened it a small bit, just enough to see out of the coffin. Amity kneeled down to look at Luz in the eyes.

"Luz, please talk to me. I don't mean as my girlfriend but as a person. Please talk to me."

Luz just closed the lid again. Amity sighed and realized if she wants to get to Luz, then she has to risk getting bit. She didn't want to do this but, she has to hurt her in order to help her.

"Your mother would be so ashamed of you."

Amity wasn't even able to blink in the time it took Luz to get out of the coffin and slam her against the wall.

"What the hell do you know about what my mother would think?!" Luz yelled, her eyes glowing, fangs exposed, "You don't know a fucking thing about her!"

"You've told me enough about her for me to know what she would think! Do you think she would want you to stop going out?! To stop eating?! To spend all day in your room?! Luz, she wouldn't want you to do this! She would want you to continue living! Not become some shell of your former self!"

Luz's eyes stopped glowing and she stopped showing her fangs. She continued to hold Amity against the wall but she started crying again. She let go of Amity and fell to her knees. Amity got on her knees and grabbed Luz's hands.

"I miss her so much." Luz said.

Amity pulled her into a hug and ran her fingers through Luz's hair.

"I know you do. I know I can't take your pain away, but I can promise that I'll be there for you."

"I'm sorry Amity. I'm so sorry."

"You have nothing to apologize for."

"Can you stay here with me?"

"I'll stay with you for all eternity if I have to."

Amity held Luz for hours as she cried. Amity doesn't understand what Luz is going through and honestly hopes she never will. But she does know that Luz was hurting, and she will walk through hell if that's what it takes.
