PART 2
Chapter 2x5: We Have Incoming
Corvus Glaive kicks Vision knocking him down as he attempts to rise again, Cull Obsidian shows up and swings his hammer in a full arc, throwing Vision even further, the android painfully starts to climb to his feet again when Bruce and Arash land between the aliens and the android interrupting the fight.
Bruce takes a defensive stance pointing one hand's repulsor at Corvus while Arash points one hand to Obsidian ready to shoot an energy blast.
"We gotta stop meeting each other like this big guy" - mocked Arash to Obsidian making growl and launch to attack him
"Ohh no you don't" - said Bruce stopping the attack with grabbing the arms of the alien with the Hulkbuster
"Bruce, what the fuck? I can deal with him!" - yelled Arash
"Team work kid, remember?" - said Bruce grunting as he continue to fight the Obsidian before a jet fires taking the two of them in a random direction to the base of a waterfall.
"Well I guess is just me and you not so big but still big guy" - said Arash
"You think you can take me?" - asked Corvus
"I don't think" - said Arash as his eyes glowed in gold - "I know so" - he added with a smirk before shooting an energy blast to the alien who manage to evade it
Corvus jumped into Arash to try to hit him with his staff only to be stopped by a force field around the Persian boy, he used another force field around Vision to move him further away from the fight.
"Thanos is gonna get the stone no matter how hard all of you fight" - said Corvus
"Not if we stop him and you" - said Arash
The Prince stopped Corvus in time before shooting an energy blast sending him flying to a tree smashing his back with it falling into the ground, then he used energy to make the tree fall into the alien and more energy to make an earth wall like he did on the battlefield to let it fall as well on top of the tree and the alien.
Arash turned to run to where he landed Vision before fighting Corvus seeing the android leaning against a tree supporting his weight.
"We need to get you out of here and back into the lab" - said Arash helping the android
"There is no time, we need to destroy the stone" - said Vision
"Wanda is not here yet" - said Arash
"She is not the only one who can do it" - stated Vision looking at the Prince
"I'm not that powerful Vision" - said Arash
"You are, on the short time I trained with you I measure your strength you are just as powerful as Wanda, if not more than her" - stated Vision
"Hey are you two alright?" - asked Steve arriving their location
"Yeah" - said Arash turning to Steve when he saw Corvus coming close to attack Cap with his staff - "NO" - He yelled shooting an energy blast that go through the alien, Corvus groaned before falling to the ground - "Oh…god" - said Arash nervously with his voice shaking as he looked at his hand horrified
"Prince Arash is fine…you save me" - said Steve seeing how affected the Prince looked
"Yeah…is just…I could feel it all…that is why I never used my energy to actually kill someone with it…I can feel it how the skin was cutting through him…it doesn't hurt me…but the sensation is…ugh" - explained Arash shaking his head grimacing
"Hey! Is Vision ok?" - asked Bruce arriving on the scene with one of the arms of the Hulkbuster armor missing
"Are you?" - asked Arash as he pointed at the missing arm
"It's fine, I could figure out" - answered Bruce sounding proud about defeating the alien
"Are you ok?" - asked Wanda while she lands next to Vision and helps him but before he could answer the android flinched in pain as the Stone in his head glowed - "What? What is it?" - She asked worried
"He's here" - stated Vision
Arash's ring glowed as well, he could feel the same tingle like before going to help Tony with Peter, if that wasn't enough the wind started to pick up in a strange way making the 4 heroes look the surrounding.
"What the hell?" - asked Arash nervously
"Everyone, on my position, we have incoming" - said Steve on his comm just when Thanos stepping out of a blue-black cloud.
"Cap…that's him" - said Bruce
"Eyes up, stay sharp" - ordered Steve as he took a defensive stand
Wanda and Arash take a stand closer to Vision as the others started to leap into fight one by one, Bruce was first and Thanos used the Space Stone on him to render him immaterial until the Hulkbuster is half-buried in the stone of the cliff behind him and freezes him in place and Captain America goes next but is sent flying by a purple energy before he even gets to strike a single blow.
"Wanda, it's time" - said Vision
"No" - said Wanda
Black Panther leaps high with claws extended ready to use his armor fully charger kinetically but is easily grabbed by the throat and punched to the ground while his armor discharge violently
"They can't stop him, but we can" - explained Vision looking at her and Arash - "you both have the power to destroy the stone, one of you has to do it" - he said
Falcon flies shooting both of his pistols but is Thanos used the Reality Stone to turn his wings rubbery and unable to sustain flight making him hit the ground.
"Don't…" - said Wanda tearing up - "I can't…it's not fair" - she said while crying
War Machine joins the fight, firing his guns at Thanos until he uses the gauntlet to crush his armor around him and toss him aside
"It's all right, you could never hurt me" - said Vision
Bucky runs in firing but is punched away by the Power Stone while Okoye activated the vibranium-powered elements on her spear to fling it to the Titan who again used the gauntlet to throw stop the spear and throw it aside and her owner as well.
"Wanda" - said Arash making the couple turn to look at him - "hold Thanos…I will do it" - he said while his eyes glowed golden and moved one of his hands up but then he stopped when the Scarlet Witch grabbed his wrist
"No…I…I will…it's ok" - manage to say Wanda through her tears as she extends a trembling hand and starts beaming her energy at the Mind Stone
Arash watched them with a sad look before nodding at Wanda and she nodded back at him, the Persian boy turn to watch Thanos wrapping the Black Widow in inescapable bands of earth, Groot tried to use cables of roots around him to stop him but the Titan breaks them and throw the alien aside with the Power Stone.
Wanda added her left hand to her tearful effort while Captain America slides under one blow of the Titan and comes up swinging his deployed arm-shields, punching Thanos in the gut and chin before grabbing the gauntlet trying to keep Thanos's fingers unclenched, the Titan looks very briefly impressed before slamming a fist into his head and rendering him.
"Wanda do anything you can, I will stop him" - said Arash
The Prince eyes glowing golden as he shoots an energy blast to the Thanos just to be absorbed by the gauntlet and shoot back at him, but he protected himself and the couple behind him with a force field, then he stopped the Titan in time.
"It's all righ…It's all right" - assured Vision whispering to Wanda - "I love you" - he added just before the Mind Stone starts to crack
Vision's face is overcome by an expression of joyful peace as the crystal fragments completely and a pulse of pure yellow energy explodes from making the trees for many meters around his epicenter shudder and Wanda stopped her energy falling on her knees crying at the loss of her lover.
"It's alright…you…you did right" - said Arash while he breathed heavy
"Unfroze him…I'm gonna kill him" - said Wanda angry as she stands next to Arash
"Do it whil-" started to said Arash when felt a sharp pain on his head falling on his knees with his nose bleeding unfreezing the Titan
"You destroy the Stone to stop me?" - asked Thanos
"No…I will stop you" - said Wanda as she prepared her powers just to be stopped by the Titan using the gauntlet to float her and the Prince right in front of his face
"I want you both to watch, all my children are dead, but you two are the closest I have to any other powerful being like them" - said Thanos with a smirk
"We are not your children" - snarled Wanda angrily
The Titan ignore her comment as he walked to the place Vision vanished with the two heroes floating behind him, he reached forward clenching the gauntlet making emerald filigree surrounding his wrist, he made a gesture to activate the Eye of Agamotto and in response a bead of yellow light starts gathering in on itself as time is reversed and growing in size solidifying into an intact and conscious Vision.
"No!" - Screamed Wanda before the Titan throws her and Arash
Wanda smashed against a tree hitting her head before falling to the ground and Arash before smashing against something he stopped floating with a force field around him.
"You will not win!" - Yelled Arash as he put one hand up to stop Thanos in time but nothing was happened - "what?" - He said confused
"You are powerful my child" - said Thanos while picking Vision by the throat and showing the gauntlet to the Prince where the Time Stone was shining - "but still have a long way to go" - he added
Arash screamed before using an energy blast that is stopped by the Power Stone as Thanos shoots his own blast to the Prince, the Persian boy made a force field around him like the last time but the front part of it didn't close and he turned to see Thanos using one of the Stones to stop his shield from closing just when the energy blast hit him sending him backwards into a big Stone wall knocking him out.
When the Prince opened his eyes again he heard Thor screaming, he looked at the direction of the Asgardian's voice seeing Thanos using the Space Stone to teleport himself away while the Strombreaker fall on the ground, Arash slowly stand up cleaning the blood from his nose with the back of his hand and walked towards the scene rubbing his head using his healing ability to make it better.
"Thor...where'd he go?" - asked Steve stumbling while he holds his left side
"Steve…" - said Bucky nervously before stumbling over and collapsing into ashes
Captain America walked over touching the ground were his friend evaporated, Vizier covered his mouth with a hand in horror while also hearing a calling from Okoye that with his little knowledge of their language and seeing her face he knew that T'Challa may have go through the same fate of the Winter Soldier, he turned to Vision's lifeless body in time to see that Wanda turned ashes as well.
Rhodey, Natasha, Bruce and Rocket approached the scene mourning near Vision's dead body, Arash seeing the raccoon alone realize that Groot who just helped him in the battlefield was gone and also realized that Sam didn't came back as well.
"What is this? What the hell is happening?" - asked Rhodey
"If this is happening here…oh god…no…" - said Arash before starting to backing out a little and his eyes watered - "Peter…" - he cried as he fell to the ground
"No…hey" - said Natasha approaching the Prince - "he might be alright, he and Tony…are gonna come back…we will solve this" - she said kneeling next to Vizier
Black Widow put a hand on the Persian boy shoulder for support before he turned to hug her crying on her shoulder at the loss of the other heroes and thinking he may lost Peter as well, Bruce also approached close to them putting the hand of the Hulkbuster on the Prince's head for support as well.
A/N: I hate that Thanos wins and in someway I feel Arash could have really stopped him since his ring powers could even manager to froze him in time, but the Infinity Stones are hard to beat mostly the Time Stone against his own time control.
