Gaius stared out of the door. A Saxon stared back and tried to look into the room. Gaius tried to block the Saxon from looking in. it wasn't going to work for long though. The Saxon burst into the room. Without warning he went over to Uther, Morgana and Gwen to see what they were up to.
"What's he doing here?" The Saxon asked them.
"He's hiding from you." Morgana answered him.
"Why on earth is he doing that? He's the king isn't he?!"
"So?"
"Shouldn't he be up and fighting?"
"It's none of your business." Gwen spoke up in Uthers defence.
The Saxon turned to face Gwen giving Morgana time to come up with some more quick answers. Gwen kept her head up to face the Saxon but was absoultley terrified inside. Gaius could see this in Gwens face and knew he would have to think of something quick to get her out of the situation.

Merlin and Arthur were getting ready to trek out again to find Uther a cure. Arthur was smiling again which made Merlin happy as he hadn't been since they had started off the journey.
"Right. Ready?" Arthur asked Merlin.
"Ready as I'll ever be." Merlin sighed as he didn't get much sleep that night.
"Stop being so moaney!" Arthur joked.
"You try getting along with you when you have barely had any sleep last night."
Arthur nodded for once. He couldn't believe that Merlin had barely any sleep when he had slept really well! Merlin looked at Arthur and tried to give a smile so he didn't look very sleepy. Merlin and Arthur got onto their horses ready for the day ahead.
They were getting closer and closer to the cure for Uther and only had a few miles to go before they got there. Merlin couldn't wait to get home and actually have a proper rest. Arthur couldn't wait to get home as he wanted to save his father. Even though Uther and Arthur weren't normally very close, this had brought them closer even though they were so far apart in miles.
"Oh I hate riding!" Merlin moaned.
"Well get off and walk then." Arthur said back.
"That's even worse!"
"Then stop moaning!"
Merlin moaned again. He really didn't like being on the horse day after day but stayed on the journey because of Arthur. Arthur was the only thing keeping Merlin going because he was so strong and didn't want to let him down. They came to another crossroads this time as it was daytime they could see further.
"Right another choice to make." Merlin moaned.
"Go ahead." Arthur waved at Merlin.
"What?"
"I made the last choice, you make the next one."
"Well thanks."
Merlin looked back at the crossroads. There was a more dense forest road and then a lighter forest on the other side.
"We'll go down this one." Merlin decided going down the forest side.
"What with the spooky trees?!" Arthur joked.
"Very funny. Let's go." Merlin said moving his horse in the direction.
Arthur just chuckled and followed Merlin down the forest road. Even though there was spooky trees coming up they had to choose otherwise they wouldn't get anywhere.

"So, now we have taken over, you all now listen to us." The Saxon told the group of people down in the dungeon back in Camelot.
"We don't have to listen to you." Gaius spoke up.
"Unless you want to be executed, I think you should." The Saxon told Gaius.
"Fine. Just don't hurt the king." Gaius finally decided.
The Saxon rolled his eyes.
"Fine. Don't give me a reason to then."
The group nodded. They didn't want to make the Saxon have any ideas about injuring them or the king. Uther was very precious to them until Arthur got back.
"Right. Well I'll leave you to it." The Saxon said moving towards the door.
"So are you coming back?" Gwen asked caustously.
"Of course." The Saxon said turning back to the group.
The Saxon then left the room. The whole room sighed a sigh of relief. Even if he was coming back it was nice to have some time away from him.
"Gaius?" Morgana asked with a worried tone in her voice.
Gaius turned around to face Morgana once she had said this. She had her fingers on Uthers pulse and looked at him worried.
"Oh no." Gaius whispered.
