Najenda grimaces at the sight of a large number of soldiers suddenly dying. The killer snow has stopped falling, probably due to the fact that coordinating and making it would be exhausting for the user. The worst problem is morale. Watching half of your friends and allies die in seconds after engaging the enemy is quite devastating.

"Susanoo… Destroy Esdeath!" Najenda shouts out in desperation, Susanoo simply nods and rushes forwards.

Susanoo isn't alone, as much as Lubbock doesn't want to fight, and especially not fighting Esdeath, he has no choice and he's at the final stage of the revolution. If they fail here, everything would've been for nothing.

"Ho?"

Esdeath side steps an attack from Susanoo, who recovers and swings his pole in an arc to get Esdeath who vaults herself over the attack and kicks Susanoo who staggers back.

'?!'

Esdeath ducks under a spear of string which explodes after missing a surrounded Esdeath. Esdeath scoffs and ice explodes and surges around her, pushing the strings out. The ice shatters under the force of Susanoo's attack. Esdeath has already escaped from the string filled trap, and launches multiple spears towards both Susanoo and Lubbock.

Najenda takes a stance as Esdeath rushes her while Susanoo and Lubbock are preoccupied with the reforming spears being hurled around them.

"Tsk."

Najenda jumps off of Lubbock's prepared strings and kicks down towards Esdeath who forms ice in between the kick and her head. The ice cracks, and Najenda uses the ice as footing before jumping back avoiding Esdeath's saber.

'If I have to use my trump card to defeat Esdeath… it'll be worth it.' Najenda thinks as she looks towards Susanoo swiping away the reforming ice spears.

"Manifest Magamata!"

Rays of light emerge from Najenda and the light injects itself into Susanoo and the pressure crushes the ice, making it unable to reform under the constant pressure.

Susanoo comes out of the light with his shirt ripped revealing his toned muscles. His hair changed color to silver white and rockets over to Esdeath, as the earth cracks under the force of the rush. Esdeath smirks and jumps into the air. Ice forms under her feet when she jumps, she continues to blast off into the air.

'What is she doing? Is she running away?!' Najenda panics as if Esdeath wanted to, she could run away and become a problem later down the line. The speck in the sky seemed to stop and in a sudden, a large object blotted all light from the sky.

'What?...'

"Everyone run!" Lubbock yelled out while manipulating all his strings to form a spiderweb barrier in the air, it may not be enough to completely block it but it'll help reduce the damage. And the ice won't survive Lubbock's tough strings.

Who is he kidding, the ice floating in the sky is far too large to outrun. And the reason why Esdeath went all the way up is to make gravity make it fall harder. Susanoo tenses and gets into a stance.

'There's a weakness in everything.'

As the ice falls to the earth, Susanoo rushes forwards.

At the capital, Lightning courses through the area as Tatsumi and Mine continue to fight.

"Soru!"

Budo recognizes the techniques Tatsumi uses, but he's a lot less proficient than Vergo, and he shoots a bolt of lightning to where Tatsumi is causing Tatsumi to throw himself to the side. Budo prepares two bolts of lightning in his hand before a powerful blast forces him to throw it at the bright light.

The beam blew through the lightning but it gave him a small enough gap to evade before blocking a fist from Tatsumi and he skidded back. The clouds in the sky get darker and darker as the fight continues.

"Lightning Ward!"

Lightning starts to roll around Budo's entire body and threatens to give a shock to anyone who makes contact with him. Tatsumi grimaces as he pummels into Budo's guard causing electricity to course in his body, and Tatsumi freezes up. Budo takes notice and raises his fist and slams into Tatsumi's face.

Tatsumi's armor blocked most of the impact, but the electricity from the impact was in greater concentration causing him to stay immobile. This doesn't go unnoticed by Mine and Pumpkin lights up.

Mine panics at the sight of Budo blasting himself into the sky and gets swallowed by the large thunderclouds. Budo is planning to use his trump card, once he does it the two Night Raid members will be defeated and Vergo's defeat by the strongest imperial arms in the world is inevitable.

Budo emerges with the clouds clearing away and the lightning rolls throughout the clouds towards Budo.

"Solid Shoot-"

Budo is interrupted by Vergo crashing into him and he slams into the ground. All the electricity built up scatters back into the clouds and wobbles up. A bloody Vergo lays on the ground before standing back up again and his eyes flash with determination, a slight change occurs to his ever present serious expression.

Vergo rockets off leaving Budo in his stupor. He wakes up hearing the wind parting and sees a spear followed by another blast from Pumpkin going straight to him.

Budo panics and puts up a sloppy guard, causing the spear to penetrate through his forearm causing him to wince and break his guard, allowing Mine's blast to hit him square in the chest.

Budo coughs blood as he flies back from the force of the attack. He feels the attack penetrate further and further into his chest until the attack completely blows through Budo, leaving a large hole in his body as he falls to the ground.

Budo is dead.

Tatsumi would celebrate, but was interrupted by a volley of red flashes followed by large explosions blasting the capital.

'Vergo!'

Vergo doesn't bother to block the attacks, he won't risk killing himself to protect a few civilians and endangering his family. A slight frown appears on his face as his haki picks up on the cries and screams of the civilians.

'Have I softened?' Vergo questions himself as he dodges another beam.

A fist cuts through the air as Vergo jumps up using Geppo and lands on its arm slamming his bamboo stick into the massive teigu's elbow. Vergo has concern on his face, as his attack did minimal damage even with age and rust to take over the large teigu's body.

Vergo commits himself to the task of getting to the head to perform the Roukogan to take out the user instead of the large teigu. But unsurprisingly It's a lot harder to do that when beams and fists fly to him and insane speeds.

"Geppo-Soru!" Vergo rockets through the air towards the large teigu.

A fist comes down from above and he continues to rocket around the teigu. The emperor grits his teeth as he constantly fails to hit Vergo.

"Oni-Take, Tekkai (Strong Arm)!"

Vergo's bamboo stick slams into the large teigu, but it doesn't budge and leaves a large dent, but compared to its size it's a pretty small dent. He needs to use extreme strength in order to even make it stumble or deal any damage at all. Vergo grimaces as he jumps away.

Shikotouzer's eyes glow red and two large beams fly towards Vergo.

"Kami-e."

Vergo bends and twirls around the two beams and once again, the empire shakes as the blast meets the earth.

"Vergo do something about those beams!" Tatsumi yells out, unfortunately after the scuffle with Budo Tatsumi and Mine aren't in the condition to even think of fighting Shikotouzer with Vergo. Mine is still shooting off beams whenever she can in the fight between Leone and Run. It doesn't help much as Run manages to do twists and turns to evade attacks that are like Vergo's kami-e.

Vergo ignores Tatsumi and continues to evade the beams, much to Tatsumi's visible ire. Tatsumi realizes it won't get anywhere if they simply keep evading and the damage will just keep adding up, so Tatsumi rushes towards towering Shikotouzer.

"Soru!"

"Geppo!"

The giant Shikotouzer didn't take notice of Tatsumi's advance as it continued to try and hit Vergo to no avail. Tatsumi crashes into the Shikotouzer's knees, but it didn't budge. The emperor scoffed at the attempt before Tatsumi started pummeling into the Shikoutazer continuously. The giant couldn't bother to stop it as it wasn't as dangerous as Vergo.

Tatsumi grits his teeth in anger and pain as the dents are slowly getting bigger but his armor and body is taking much damage for punching such a durable thing. Tatsumi cringes as he feels his knuckles tear under the force of his fist colliding with the Shikotouzer.

'I have to keep doing it until it falls so Vergo can finally deal with it!' A flash of determination crosses his eyes as he starts to hit even harder, startling the emperor inside the Shikotouzer, but due to Vergo he can't stop the assault.

Vergo gets hit by the enormous fist from the Shikotouzer, quickly followed by multiple beams. Tatsumi cringes and pales at the sight of Vergo being tossed away like that. As the smoke clears, there lies Vergo but as he stands up, Vergo's arm lays limp and Vergo coughs up blood. The Shikotouzer is no slow teigu, it's so fast it's a wonder how Vergo has been avoiding a lot of the attacks thrown by the Shikotouzer up until that point.

Vergo has his clothing torn and large cuts and bruises form over his blood caked body. At this point, Vergo has almost shattered his arm from that attack. Vergo cringes as his haki flares telling him something catastrophic is about to happen.

Energy has been pooling inside of Shikotouzer during the entire fight to prepare for his trump card. When Shikotouzer opens its mouth, a large shining red ball reveals itself. This attack can destroy large islands, and the power goes far beyond that of an Admiral.

Tatsumi shouts "You fool! Don't you care about the citizens of the empire!"

"This is for the empire's best interest!" The emperor shouts back

Vergo sweats as he looks at the Shikotouzer. He needs to do something quickly or the entire capital will be destroyed. Suddenly, an animalistic roar comes from where Tatsumi was...

'A dragon?' Vergo is slightly shocked but due to his time in the New World, he didn't really become too surprised.

Tatsumi has fully transformed into a dragon. The dragon pounds into the Shikotouzer's knees, but this time it's strong enough to damage it. The emperor cringes as he feels the Shikotouzer buckle under the pressure and falls down to its knees.

"Geppo-Soru!" Vergo flashes in a blur and reappears in front of the Shikotouzer's face, taking a stance. The Shikotouzer tries to swat him even risking to hit itself but gets stopped by the dragon, aka Tatsumi. Tatsumi, even though he's at his peak strength, can't hold back the supreme teigu's arms and is flung out of the way but it was enough time for Vergo to attack the Shikotouzer.

"The Roukagon!"

Vergo's arms slam into the Shikotouzer's face, Vergo cringes as his arm which was broken completely shattered. The emperor smirks before suddenly he felt himself being torn apart. In an instant the Shikotouzer falls over and the beam inside of its mouth falls apart inside of its mouth and is withdrawn.

"I won't let myself die before protecting the empire!" The emperor shouts before both of his fist slams into the falling Vergo, sending him flying down across the capital crashing through the houses and walls along the way. Vergo grits his teeth as he almost goes unconcious under the force of the impacts.

When Vergo finally stops, he wobbles up and holds his mangled arm. He probably won't even be able to use it ever again. But, the emperor's entire body is torn and mangled due to the Roukagon.

The emperor is dead.

At this point, the Shikotouzer completely falls over and Vergo panics at the sight of practically a mountain falling onto the capital. A blur flashes across the sky and behind the Shikotouzer. It was Tatsumi, who was still a dragon. The Shikotouzer fell to the ground and Tatsumi's muscles began to bulge under the force of the falling Shikotouzer. Tatsumi heard his bones make a slight crack, he's struggling to hold back the mountain that is known as the Shikotouzer. Tatsumi barely managed to hold back the Shikotouzer as it stopped in front of a family that was trying to flee.

The dragon collapses and vanishes, revealing a bloody and broken Tatsumi kneeling on the ground.

"Ahh… ahhh… I guess… I won't be able to make it… Vergo-san…" Tatsumi mutters as his vision dims.

Tatsumi is dead.

Vergo frowns at his haki loses sight of Tatsumi's presence, which means… he's dead. His forehead has veins bulging and is grabbing his bamboo stick with an incredibly tight grip.

Vergo looks up to see a large mountain of ice falling towards him. Vergo grimaces and he raises the bamboo stick overhead.

'It's time for the final battle!'
