7pm
Sally dragged herself home. Her day at the school was rough and all she wanted was a foot massage.
Having so many people's eyes on you at all time, with a fear of screwing things up, and having to make ridiculous demands wasn't an easy job.
'So this is what Ned feels like.' She said to herself.
Sure, giving cooking lessons was not the same as running three towns, but Sally had always been a stay-at-home mom and she missed her kids terribly.
She wondered how Ned handled the rugrats today.
She opened the door and gasped. Her house was spotless.
"Am I in the right house?" She asked.
"Sounds like Mommy's home." She heard Ned in the kitchen.
She know knew how Ned felt when he came home from work every day when a crowd of daughters came rushing to her.
Once the chaos died down, Sally made her way into the kitchen and found her husband cooking.
"Hello, Sally." He said, whirling around. He was rocking one of her frilly pink aprons.
She raised an eyebrow.
"Is that my apron?" She asked.
"Yes, yes it is." He answered.
"Looks good on you."
Ned purred playfully as he hugged his wife. Both embraced.
"These kids drove me crazy." He whispered.
"I had a rough day at the office." She whispered back.
"How about a meal that you didn't have to cook?" Ned asked.
Sally nodded. "Sounds great."
Ned pushed her into her chair. She yelped. She reached under her butt and pulled a stuffed kitty. She shook her head and tossed it away.
"Wow, Daddy, you sure know how to cook!" Huggy said as she shoveled ice cream in her mouth. Ned smirked as he put away the container of ice cream. Dinnertime was over and the kids wanted dessert.
"Thank you, sweetie."
With the oldest 5 children taking over bathroom, Ned and his wife now had some time together.
It was important to spend time with your partner, they always heard someone say. Keep the fire burning.
Even if that fire was a collection of old holiday scented candles on the coffee table.
Ned poured wine for his wife. As they sat down together, sally took off her heels and rubbed her ankles.
"Need a foot rub?" Ned asked.
"If you would please?" Sally asked as she stuck her legs up in her husband's face, so he could take a good long look at her legs.
Ned smiled goofily as he took one of her feet in his hands and gently, but firmly, ran his thumbs along the sole of her foot.
Sally melted like pudding on a hot day as her husband rubbed her feet. She spent all day on her feet, so it was nice to have her hubby give her screaming feet attention.
He rubbed the heel of her foot, which needed the most attention. Sally moaned with pleasure.
"After this rub down, my back is killing me, would you pop it, please?" Ned asked, sweetly.
"Whatever you want, sweetheart." She said.
Ned laid on the floor and Sally pressed her palms on either side of his spine.
"Breathe in." She asked.
Ned took a deep breath in.
"Breathe out." She said.
Ned exhaled, and Sally put all her weight on her back, which caused an audible pop from his back.
Ned sighed with relief. He needed that.
He sat up.
"What shall we do now?" He asked devilishly.
Sally smiled.
"I've got a few ideas." She said as she pulled his tie to get him to follow her upstairs.
In the bedroom...
Ned and Sally laid in their bed, snoring away. Neither one of them bothered to change out of their outfit, so Ned was still wearing an apron and Sally was still in her red suit.
Suddenly, a wail filled the house.
"Waaaaaahh!"
Ned woke up. He groaned. "I got it."
