The next morning, I get out of bed to another nice sunrise. It was there and then that I decided that today would be another good morning to get some fishing in. I had no idea what I was in for; for me, it would be just another typical morning. Perhaps I should've been a little more fazed by Luchia's warning. After I get dressed, pray for the day, and fill my thermos with coffee, I get in the Suburban and take the boat and my gear out to the bay. Under the surface, greater forces were at play as Sheshe was laying out her plan.

"Ok, so here's what we'll do. Alala and Lady Bat will get a boat and…"

"Where will we get a boat?" Alala didn't know where they would get one.

"There's a marina that's 2 miles from the beach. Lanhua will go there and steal a boat, she's stealthy. You two will take these fishing rods and pretend to fish as you come over to his boat and distract him. While distracted, Mimi will jump up and drag him down here while he's in a trance. I know he's a big guy, so it'll be easier if he's distracted like that."

"What about you, Sister Sheshe? Where do you come into play?"

"I've already taken control of the fish, so they won't come here and throw things off. Mikeru, what do you think of all this?" Mikeru responded in his typically mild-mannered way.

"Sounds like a good plan to me. Do whatever is needed to capture him."

"Heheheh! We must capture him no matter what!" Fuku was quick to emphasize the plan's importance. Sheshe then finished going over her plan.

"As for the next part, you'll see. It'll hurt a bit, but it's worth it. Remember the plan!" Just after, Mikeru transformed Sheshe into her true form, a red anglerfish. Sheshe then swam away, waiting for me to come.

At the marina, I had to stop to put gas in the little motor on the boat. The only other person at the marina was who turned out to be Lanhua. She was so skilled at stealing the boat, it looked as if she actually owned the boat. That evaded my notice, as I finished fueling up the motor. After, I launched the boat into the water and got started fishing. However, today's catch was rather sparse.

"Dang, how am I getting skunked? I thought I would've caught something by now." I had been out on the water for an hour and caught nothing. Usually I would've caught at least a few fish by now. The waters were unusually devoid of fish. Suddenly, another boat came up and approached me. Two folks in fishing gear manned the boat. Both wore fishing waders, Alala sported an orange trucker cap to conceal the pointed tops of her ears, and Lady Bat wore a camo bucket hat with mosquito netting to make his appearance less androgynous.

"Good morning, Pastor Max!" I know sometimes random people greet me on the street, but it seemed odd that two strangers came out of the blue and knew that specifically I was located right there at this exact time.

"Umm, good morning folks! How can I help you?" I put down my rod and face them.

"We're sorry, we forgot to introduce ourselves. I am Alala, and this is my friend." Alala then gently nudges Lady Bat, while he tried to come up with a name on the spot.

"Umm, I'm, uh, Larry B! Yes, Larry B." Usually people don't hesitate when asked what their names are. Maybe this 'Larry' had some kind of condition that affected his memory.

"Sorry, Larry is a bit shy." Alala was just relieved that their cover wasn't blown.

"Pleasure to meet you, Alala and Larry. Say, I notice you two have quite a number of fish. I haven't caught anything yet." These two actually had no clue about how to go fishing; Sheshe had placed the fish in the bucket before they went up.

Alala then blushed. "Oh, you know. The fish just seem to like us more than you today." She had a habit of tooting her own horn, so she couldn't help but lightly tease me over it. For some strange reason, I felt somehow enticed to talk more and more with Alala.

"Well, it's not that I'm coveting my neighbor's goods. I'm just glad that you guys did well today." Alala and Lady Bat became confused.

"Neighbor?"

"Why, yes. Anyone next to you is your neighbor, and we are commanded to love God and our neighbors (Matthew 22:37-39)." Being the secluded villains they were, the whole concept of 'love your neighbor' was utterly foreign to them.

"R-right!" I then look down at my watch.

"Oh look at the time, it's already 9 am! I better get back and start my work for the day…" Suddenly, I notice that my fishing rod begins to get pulled. I rush over to it and see this large red fish pulling at the line. "Oh man, that is a big one!" This fish was a real doozy, and it kept pulling down on my rod. As I nearly had this fish, I leaned further forward to try and get it up.

"Now, Mimi!" Alala shouted this as I was leaning very far forward and almost had this fish.

"Wait, who…" Before I could finish my question, a pair of hands came up and pulled at my arm. Considering my position, I lost my balance and fell head first into the water. Before I could get back to the boat, I was being dragged down beneath the surface. My memory was pretty much blank after that because it didn't take long for me to black out. On the other boat, Alala and Lady Bat gave each other a high five as they took their disguises off.

"Awesome work, 'Larry.'"

"We did it! Now that we can take this stupid gear off, we can go help them below." Alala and Lady Bat abandoned the boat and everything on it to go help their fellow henchman-in-arms.
