Disclaimer: I Do Not Own Fairy Tail

The seven long years have passed. During that time Mirya's magical core continued to dispel Fairy Sphere, without break. Due to the continuous use of magic, her magic reserves kept growing. As a result, she grew stronger in those seven years, unlike her fellow guildmates who were sleeping. Not once in those seven years, did she stop. It's not like she had any choice.

.

.

.

"MEN!" The remaining Fairy Tail members look out of their guild hall to see Ichiya crash land in front of them.

"Ichiya? What are you doing here?" Macao asks. The years had been tough for him and those left behind in Magnolia. Many in the guild had left. There were only a handful of mages who remained faithful. Some of the mages who were a constant help were those in the Blue Pegasus guild. They kept an eye on the ethernano levels where Tenrou Island once stood.

"Hello Fairy Tail members." They look up to see the Trimens float down from Christina, the magic bomber.

"Laki, you have really grown into your beauty." The Trimens surround the bespectacled woman, flirting.

"Hey! Stop flirting with the ladies!" The men say.

"Pardon the intrusion. But we've come with interesting information." Ichiya says.

"What is it?" They ask.

"We are picking up mysterious levels of ethernano where Tenrou Island stood." Hibiki says.

"What does that mean?" Romeo asks.

"Tenrou Island still exists." Ichiya explains, causing hope and disbelief to spread through the Fairy Tail members.

The Blue Pegasus members wish them luck in their search and leave. The others immediately begin preparations for the rescue operation. In a few short hours, they're enroute to Tenrou.

"You think we'll find them?" Alzack asks the others with him.

"We have to." Jet says, wanting to see his missing guildmates.

"Hey! What's that?" Droy points to a girl who was floating away.

"Follow her!" Bisca yells. They continue to follow the strange girl until they reach the area where Tenrou stood. The water began to move and vibrate. They all look on in shock as Tenrou Island rises from the ocean, encased in a golden bubble. The girl begins to make her way into the island.

"Let's go!" Max yells, beginning to follow the girl after they safely dock. Bisca, Alzack, Jet, Droy, Max, and Warren begin to look around the island. They continued to look until they saw a hand, the rest of the body was buried underneath the ground.

"Over here!" All six of them were drawn to the hand and they began to pull. Their efforts were rewarded in the discovery of Natsu Dragneel, Fairy Tail's residential pyro.

"Natsu!" They yell, waking him from his seven year slumber.

"Huh…" Natsu only looks at them and begins to rub his eyes. "Man this must be a dream, there's no way that Droy is that fat." Natsu says, causing the others to tackle him.

"We finally found you guys!" They said, causing Natsu to pause. "Let's keep looking." The others get up and begin to keep looking, Natsu's nose providing them with the necessary help. They soon found the other missing members. All of those who had woken up were confused by the sudden changes in the others' appearance.

"You guys don't look old." Max says.

"What do you mean?" Erza asks, looking at the group of six.

"Seven years have passed." Max replies, causing the guild to grow confused and panic.

"What do you mean seven years have passed?" They all spazz out.

"I can explain everything." They hear. They turn to look at the strange girl who had guided them.

"Who are you?" Gray asks. His guard was up. In his time, they had just faced Grimoire Heart and Acnologia.

"I am Mavis Vermillion, Fairy Tail's first master." She greets, causing shock throughout the members. "You all have been sleeping for seven years, within the Fairy Sphere." She says, causing confusion to run rampart.

"What is the Fairy Sphere?" Lucy asks.

"The Fairy Sphere is an ultimate defensive spell. It was activated during your encounter with Acnologia. It provides absolute protection." Mavis explains.

"Our first master protected us." Makarov says, overjoyed at the thought that his children survived the ordeal.

"Not so. I am merely a spirit at the moment. Your bonds of friendship were converted into magic power, capable of casting Fairy Sphere." Mavis says. "Be glad that the spell was weakened." She says.

"Weakened?" Erza asks.

"Yes. The one who goes by the name of Mirya has been dispelling the Sphere this whole time, never taking a break." Mavis says, causing the Fairy Tail members to look around. In their haste to find the members and to get answers, they didn't notice that Mirya was missing.

"Where is Mirya?" They ask and begin to look around.

"Hey guys!" Natsu yells, pointing to Mirya. The others run and pause at the sight of her. She was floating, surrounded by miniature constellations. Her eyes were shut and she was breathing deeply.

"First master, what's wrong with her?" Makarov asks, concerned.

"Her body has grown accustomed to the dispelling, she has been at it for seven years. She is still in slumber. All you have to do is wake her up. I'll explain the rest." Master Mavis says.

Natsu rushes forward and begins to shake her. After a couple of shakes, she begins to wake up. She looks around and sees everybody looking at her. She drops to the floor and collapses. Natsu caught her before she hit the floor.

"Mirya!" Everybody surrounds her.

"I'm fine. Just really tired." She says, leaning on Natsu.

"That's understandable. Your magical core has been working for seven years straight. You did it, the Sphere is gone." Mavis tells her.

"That's good." Mirya says.

"What's going on?" Gajeel says, wanting answers.

"During your encounter with Acnologia, you all activated Fairy Sphere. The Sphere protected you and put you in a deep sleep. The Sphere lasts for a hundred years, but this time was different." Mavis says.

"What happened?" Lucy asks.

"Mirya was able to regain consciousness for a short while during your stay in the Sphere. Her magical core responded to the Sphere and it began to dispel it. Instead of the hundred years you would have spent, she shortened it to seven years. Now you all are safe, but seven years have passed in the outside world." The first master explains. "The guild has flourished under your leadership, third master. It truly has grown into what I hoped for." She says.

Mirya drew everybody's attention when she started to cough up blood.

"Mirya?!" They all crowd around her.

"Acnologia got me real good." She says to their horror. "My insides are in all sorts of pain right now." She admits with a grin.

"Wendy, can you heal her?" Everybody looks to the young dragon slayer.

"Yeah!" Wendy runs up and begins to heal her. "Your ribs are shattered and there's internal bleeding. Your liver and spleen are torn." Wendy says diagnosing Mirya. The others were shocked and horrified at the amount of damage she suffered. Mirya felt better after being healed, but her ribs were still tender.

"Thank you Mirya. I wish to converse with you soon." Mavis says, walking away and leaving the fairies there.

"Likewise First Master." Mirya waves. They all load on the ship and begin to travel back. Mirya and Natsu were down for the count. Mirya was leaning over the edge against the others' protests.

"Mirya, you're still recovering." Wendy tells her.

"You'll hurt your ribs again." Erza says.

"Don't… care." Mirya says, throwing up. She was still weak from her fights. She had gone up against Ultear, Bluenote, Hades, and Acnologia. While the latter did most of the damage, she couldn't deny that she was feeling magically exhausted.

"Child, are you okay?" Makarov approaches her.

"Really… tired." She responds.

"You managed to hold off Acnologia and dispel Fairy Sphere. I don't know what to do with you." He says, shaking his head at her. She grins in return.

"I'm… waiting for- my magic to return." Mirya says.

"If what the first master says is true, then your magical core worked out for seven years. Your magical reserves and output will have increased by at least tenfold. You must be careful in your training from now on, or else you will hurt yourself or another." The master warns her. She had essentially avoided the magic power gap with the rest of the world, but she didn't know how to utilize that power. She could overload and kill herself if she wasn't careful.

"I got it. Don't… worry." Mirya says, wishing for the boat ride to end.

They eventually docked in Hargeon and Mirya threw herself off the ship. She heard cries of outrage and looked at the others who stared at her.

"Mirya! You're going to break your ribs again!"

Mira yelled at her from the ship.

"Why aren't you yelling at Natsu?" She questions, pointing at the pinkette who had also thrown himself off the ship as well.

"He's not as injured as you." Gray says, rushing to check up on her. Mirya could spot Juvia turning red from her jealousy. "I didn't ask for this!" Mirya thinks, mentally berating the water mage.

"I'm fine Gray. Really." Mirya tells him. "Maybe we should go check on Wendy or Juvia?" She tells him. She saw Juvia brighten, only to wilt when Gray walked to Wendy. She followed him. She was doing all she could for Juvia, but it was too difficult.

"Are you okay Little Dragon?" Mirya asks.

"I'm fine. But you need to be more careful." Wendy scolds her.

Mirya flicks her forehead and says, "It's not my fault a dragon decided to swat me like a fly into a rock. And who's the older one here?" Mirya questions her.

"Me. And you need to be more careful." Gray says, causing her to snort. He thought it was because of his caution, when in reality it was because he thought he was older than her. "I am 423 years old, while you are only 25. If we take off the seven years then you're 18 and I'm 416." Mirya thinks.

They make their way to Magnolia and listen to what has happened in the seven years they've been gone. Their guildhall had been reduced to a tavern on the outskirts of town. The mayor left the original guildhall as a monument to honor them.

They finally make it to the hall to see some mages go attack Romeo. Natsu darts forward and kicks the instigator. He goes flying and hits the wall.

"We're back!" They all wave to the members who were not part of the search party.

"Let me throw out the trash." Mirya says, walking to the Twilight Ogre mages and sending them flying out of the guild.

"You're all so young!" Laki and Nab say, looking at the unchanged members. There's tears running down the member's faces but their reunion is a happy one.

They begin to celebrate and catch up. There's beer and food, while there's bursts of chatter going on in the guild hall.

"YOU'RE MARRIED!" Erza and Mirya yell. They never would have guessed that Bisca and Alzack would get together after all this time. Erza started to malfunction. Her face was red and her head started to emit smoke.

"I proposed." Bisca admitted.

"You go girl!" Mirya yells, proud of her friend.

"Do you have any children?" Lisanna asks.

"We have a daughter. Her name is Asuka." Bisca says.

"Oh my gosh. I have to meet her." Mirya says.

"Hey Mirya, why does your hair look different?" Alzack asks.

"This was a side effect of the battle and the seven years I went through." Mirya says. Her hair had grown longer and had light purple streaks in it. It was a side effect from her magic use, dragon force, and the seven years she spent dispelling Fairy Sphere.

"Master guess what? My magic is almost back." Mirya says, skipping towards the master.

"That's a surprise. I would have guessed another day or two." He says.

"Can I let my magic aura through when it's back? It's annoying to have it constantly reined in." Mirya asks. She was tired of suppressing her aura.

"I don't see why not. With your magic, it's better to release it." The master says, consenting.

"Yay! Thanks master." Mirya skips off to go party with the rest of the guild. She already felt how her magic reserves increased and was excited to learn other spells to help stabilize her magic. She had seven plus years of magic to train.

By the next day, everyone's magic energy was replenished. Mirya called everyone's attention to tell them what she planned to do.

"Is it alright for me to have my aura out freely? I feel confined when I have it reigned. I just don't want to accidentally hurt someone or scare somebody." She asks nervously.

"Go for it! You don't have to be nervous." Erza tells her. She was sad that her comrade of over seven years had to ask.

"Really! Thank you!" She got the green light. So she allowed her new found magic free reign. The others felt like they got runned over by a steamroller. Her aura was enough to intimidate them for a second. Mirya was smiling until she heard something break. A vase on a table had exploded. "Oops." She says, rubbing the back of her neck, sheepish.

The others could only watch as she collected the fragments of the vase. She didn't even turn or look at the vase, it just exploded because it was in close proximity to her.

"Well, I feel better." Mirya announces. She turned to see the master look concerned. "Is something wrong?" Mirya asks.

"You've gained more power than I realized. It would do you good to go on a training journey. After the celebration of course." The master advises her.

"I was planning to do that either way. I'll try my best to not destroy the guild." Mirya says, causing the others to sweatdrop. The guild continued on with their celebration.

The party lasted for three days, Lamia Scale joined for the final day of their celebration.

"Lyon?"

"Lamia Scale?"

Gray and Lucy ask, respectively.

"Hello Fairy Tail. So the rumors are true, you're back." Yuka says, standing alongside his four other teammates.

"How are you guys?" Erza asks.

"We are well. If anything we should be asking you that." Jura says, inquiring about their state.

"We're just happy to be alive." Mirya says with a grin.

The Lamia Scale mages were shocked to see that the incredible presence of magic power came from Mirya. They had never felt anything like it.

"How is it that I can never catch up? You were supposed to be sleeping for seven years. That was enough time to catch up, but alas I've been outplayed." Jura says, glad that they were in good health.

"No clue. Just be on the lookout, I'm back baby!" Mirya yells, worrying her guildmates.

Gray and Lyon catch up. The latter bragging about being stronger than Gray.

"Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus helped us search for you guys when you went missing." Max tells them.

"I express my gratitude. Thank you." Makarov says.

"It was nothing. We're allies." Jura says.

"We owe you guys one." Gray says.

"Thanks a lot!" Mirya says. Mirya was going to continue on with the conversation until she felt herself get lifted off her chair and dragged onto a table. She looked to see Natsu grinning at her.

"Miri, sing something for us!" He yells, garnering everybody's attention.

"No thanks." Mirya walks away, only to stop moving because something wrapped around her legs. She looks down to see Natsu hugging her legs, effectively stopping her from moving away.

"Please!" He whines, reminding her of the days when she would take care of him for Igneel, before the gate. Even though she was the younger one, she tended to take care of him.

"It would be nice." Gray says, agreeing with Natsu.

"I've been intrigued ever since Fairy Tail sold your performances seven years ago." Lyon says, making Gray glare at him.

"Please Mirya!" That was what broke her. Wendy's big pleading eyes.

"Okay Little Dragon." Mirya pats her head and is placed on the table again. She sees Natsu high five Wendy.

"That's not fair. You're not allowed to do that!" Mirya pouts.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Natsu says. He knew that her one weakness was Wendy. She would give the girl the world and then some.

"Okay… you win." Mirya says, grabbing the mic they offered. She began to play the backtrack with the help of her magic. The others listened in anticipation.

(What's Your Name- (G)- Idle)

"Was that okay?" Mirya asks, nervous. It was her first time performing for someone who wasn't a part of their guild.

"That was amazing. Like always." Lucy tells her, she was the first one to snap out of her spell.

"That was splendid." Jura compliments her.

"Thanks!" Mirya appreciates the praise they gave her. She sticks around for a little while longer until she heads home.

"Tell everybody that I went home." Mirya bids Erza goodbye and heads home. She started to plan her training trip. She wouldn't be gone for too long, maybe a month?

.

.

.

"Well I'm off master." Mirya was leaving to go train. She had to get her powers under control again. She could level Magnolia if she wasn't careful. She only let Gildarts and Makarov know where she was going. Her choice in location puzzles and worries them. She had chosen to go Mt. Zonia. The place where Gildarts first met Acnologia.

"Be careful child. Do not get into unnecessary fights." The master warned her.

"I know. Make sure Natsu and Wendy don't die." Mirya says. She wasn't too worried about Gajeel. He was sensible for the most part.

"Easier said than done." Gildarts grumbles. He was honestly curious as to how Mirya took care of Natsu. Especially since she was younger than him.

"Safe travels." Mirya waved at the two mages and left with Piri in tow.

.

.

.

It only took Mirya a full day to get Mt. Zonia. She relished in the snow that was present year round. Piri chirped at her.

"Piri, I already told you. I chose this spot because Aella trained me here. And plus, Mt. Zonia is buzzing with magic here. The spirits will also be able to teach me with no worries." Mirya explains. She was looking for a cave to dwell in for the duration of her trip. Eventually she found one. It was more of a tunnel than a cave. It went down for miles, but she would save exploration for later.

"Okay Piri! Let's get started." Mirya started with physical training first. So she stripped down to a bathing suit and began to run for mileage. She had asked Gray how he trained with Ur when he was younger. He said that a part of Ur's training was stripping in the cold so that they could get used to the feeling of always being cold. So that's what she did.

She was grateful that no one ever came up here. Mirya had chosen the highest point of the mountain. The temperatures were colder and there were precipices where she could throw herself off. She was in the exact area where Aella trained her.

She remembered what the spirits and Aella had her do when she was younger so she began with running. Followed by meditation, lifting, and agility work. There was a ton of stuff to do and not a lot of time to do it. She grew hungry in the evening and hunted her food.

She found a boar and caught it for dinner. Her and Piri were having a blast. They were reminded of the time they shared 400 years ago. It was just like this, quiet, peaceful, and exhausting. They settled to go to bed and drifted off to sleep.

.

.

.

Mirya and Piri continued their physical training for two weeks before Mirya attempted to communicate with the spirits.

"Is something wrong Mirya?" Capricorn asks. He was the one she contacted for help.

"Um… Yes and no. When we were sealed on Tenrou by the Fairy Sphere, my magical core didn't go dormant like the others. Instead it worked on dispelling the Sphere as soon as it could."

"Which led to your container growing without proper training. Your powers are unstable and you need to keep up with them or else you'll destroy things around you. Is that correct?" Capricorn asks, certain that was the outcome.

"Yes…" Mirya felt like she was being scolded. She didn't mean for it to go this far.

"I'm on my way. You don't mind me relying on your power, do you?" Capricorn asks.

"I don't mind, go ahead. But Lucy won't need you?" Mirya worried that her friend might be in need of Capricorn's assistance.

"She hasn't called upon me, if she does I'll answer right away." Capricorn says, informing her that she needn't worry.

"That's good." Mirya was relieved. She was excited to see Capricorn. She saw him when he and the spirits fought by her side against Acnologia, but now they were out of danger and able to properly catch up.

"It's a pleasure to see you again Mirya." Capricorn greets.

"Capricorn!" Mirya tackles him. "I haven't seen you in so long." He has gone missing around the last month she was in the Spirit World, before her release.

"I'm alright. How did you and your guild fare against Acnologia? While we in the Spirit World are aware of the basics, we don't know the specifics." He asks.

"Well, we managed to activate the Fairy Sphere and were stuck on Tenrou for seven years. We've just recently got back. It hasn't even been a month." Mirya tells him.

"I see. I'm glad that you did not wait for something catastrophic to happen. What has happened to your hair?" Capricorn asks.

"It's a side effect of activating Dragon Force on Tenrou." Mirya says, causing him to frown.

"Dragon slayers don't get side effects from Dragon Force. This may be residual magic from the immense amount of power you used on Tenrou." Capricorn says. "Well, I recommend that you don't cut your hair. Hair is vital to store extra energy, your hair if anything needs to grow more. Before you leave for your guild, have Cancer come and grow it out for you." Capricorn informs her.

"Now then what have you done in terms of training?" Capricorn asks.

Mirya relates what she's done for the past two weeks and Capricorn nods. "That's good. Now we'll focus on more advanced magic, spells that would require massive amounts of magic. I shall teach you how to predict the future using the stars and how to access the Spirit King's powers." Capricorn says to her shock.

"I can do that?" Mirya asks, excited.

"Yes, with training and practice. These are incredibly difficult, but they are useful skills. The stars constantly shift, just like the future. And the Spirit King's powers are no joke." Capricorn mentions.

"Let's do this!" Mirya yells. This would be so cool to master. Maybe she can grow super big like the King!

When Capricorn said that it would be difficult, she expected it to be like an eight out of ten on a scale of difficulty. Not a twenty out of ten! By the end of the day, she was asleep. She didn't even eat due to her exhaustion. Capricorn only smiled and returned to the Spirit World to inform the King on their safe return and what had occurred on Tenrou.

.

.

.

"Draw your energy from the very core. That magic will be the strongest and most stable. You need that energy more than the fluid and destructiveness that is your surface energy." Capricorn instructs. During her lessons with him, he instructed her how to use her powers, the best and safest ways to use them, and advanced hand to hand combat. He knew that her style of combat was unique to even mages. Her style of combat was derived from the dragons, the Celestial spirits, and around four hundred years of knowledge. Said knowledge had come from books she had read, detailing in ancient styles of combat; fighting that flowed as if you were dancing, all the way to straight brawling.

Mirya concentrated as she was drawing energy from the very depths of her core. She needed this energy to access the power the king held. The King was revered for his immense power and sword skills. Erza would be a good sparring partner when it came to perfecting this particular aspect of power.

"If I master this, can I grow to the King's size?" Mirya asks, hoping for a yes.

"No." Capricorn says, causing her to deflate and pout.

"Bummer." Mirya knew that would be a sore spot for a while.

"Remember, you will accomplish this power when you've summoned a true star sword. Your Celestial swords are a step below a star sword." Capricorn says.

"Okay." Mirya said. It ended up taking the whole day, but she managed to summon a sword, a spear, and a dagger. Capricorn looked pleased with the results.

"That was tougher than I thought. That required tons of control." Mirya says to Capricorn.

"Yes. It mimics the amount of control the King has for his powers. You've summoned the weapons, but now you have to learn its abilities and what they do. This requires an incredible amount of discipline. Which is why Celestial Dragons are considered to be neutral among dragons." Capricorn says, confusing her.

"What?" She questions.

"Most dragons are fighters through and through. But Celestial dragons have powers that are flexible and well rounded. You have destructive powers meant to slay dragons, but on the flip side you have the powers of the Zodiac which allow for creation and support, balancing your destructiveness." Capricorn explains.

"Wow… Never thought of it that way." Mirya says.

"Lost magic can be interpreted in many ways. That's what makes it so difficult to learn. But the reward is worth it." Capricorn advises. "I shall see you bright and early tomorrow." He says, before leaving.

Mirya sighs. "Make it through these last two weeks and you'll get to go home." She missed the guild and her pack. But it was necessary of her to go through with this training.

.

.

.

The next two weeks were spent on learning the abilities of the star sword and how to use it. Not to mention the ability to predict the future based on the stars. The latter turned out to be much easier to learn than the King's powers. While Mirya struggled in the beginning, she finished strong in the end. She still needed to practice, but she was deemed proficient by Capricorn.

"Thank you so much!" Mirya says, hugging him in thanks.

"It was my pleasure." Capricorn says. "You must visit." He says, repeating the same thing every spirit told her.

"I never find the right time!" Mirya yells, she was annoyed that she couldn't find the right time to visit the Spirit World.

"You'll find it." Capricorn says. He was aware of the shenanigans that her guild always seemed to find themselves in the middle of.

"Now go and take care of those slayers." Capricorn said, mentioning her mission for the first time. She tensed and fell silent. Capricorn patted her head and looked at her with sympathetic eyes.

"It'll get better soon. Now, keep your amulet on and get on your way." Capricorn says, referencing the amulet she found when she went exploring the tunnel. It would protect her from mind manipulation. It was a great gift, but almost wasn't worth it because of the pains she had to go through.

"Now remember to not cut your hair." Capricorn reminds her. That morning Cancer came through and grew her hair. Hair was a representation of rank in some cultures and was a great place to store excess power. Her hair now came down to the back of her knees. It was a bother to maintain, but the benefits that came with it outweighed the discomfort and maintenance.

"Yes sir. I've got to go." Mirya waves goodbye and he returns to the Spirit World. Once gone, she grabs their belongings and heads back to Magnolia with Piri.

.

.

.

She sets down in front of the guild and pushes the door open to see the guild look tired.

"Um… what happened?" Mirya asks, not knowing the ordeal the guild had gone through. They tell her everything about the Infinity Clock and she feels glad that she got to skip that debacle.

"I picked the right time to leave." Mirya says.

"Well, what did you learn on your trip?" Lucy asks, wondering what sort of spells she learned. The fact that it was Celestial magic made it even more intriguing.

"I've learned to use the King's powers." Mirya says, shocking Lucy and the master.

"WHAT!?" Lucy and Master Makarov shout.

"What's the big deal?" Natsu asks. The rest of the guild nod alongside him, they didn't know how important that was.

"The Spirit King is the strongest Celestial Spirit there is. He's way stronger than Loke. If she knows how to use his powers, then she can take her power to the next level." Lucy explains. Their faces pale when the realization sets in. They look over to see her hand over a strange amulet to the master.

"Mirya… this is an authentic Menti amulet. It's even functional!" The master examines the amulet with interest.

"I found it in a tunnel in Mt. Zonia. Capricorn told me that it can protect me from mind manipulation." Mirya says, drawing attention to the amulet.

"This is a priceless artifact. The Council would most definitely want to see and examine it." Makarov says, causing her to scoff.

"I'll beat the Council senseless before I do anything for them." Mirya was always one to express her disgust for the Council. She slips the amulet around her neck.

"Well I'm back and what are we going to do now?" She asks.

"You all will have to increase your magic power. Mages all over the continent have had seven years to improve and surpass you guys." Max says.

"Fight me Max!" Natsu yells.

"Take it outside!" Makarov yells.

They all go outside and look to see the fight begin. Mirya was shocked to see Max at Natsu's level. Also saddened to see that Max needed seven years to compete with Natsu. Eventually Natsu won by displaying one of his strongest spells.

"Man… We really need to catch up." Gray says, catching all of their attention. "I mean monsters like Mirya, Gildarts, and Laxus will be fine. But us normal people don't stand a chance." Gray says, causing Mirya to twitch.

"Is there any way we can boost our power?" Lucy questions.

"I know! Let's go visit that old lady in the forest." Natsu says, referring to Porlyusica.

"Yeah! She might help." Gray says.

"Well if you find something, bring some back for me!" Mirya yells after them. Natsu waves indicating that he heard her. Mirya walks into the guild to see Gildarts writing a note.

"Old fart, what are you writing?" Mirya asks. She eyed his traveling things.

"A note for the guild. I'm leaving after I write it." He says, still writing.

"Don't be a stranger. It's good to have you around." Mirya tells him.

"Yeah. I'll visit when I can." He says. "Take care of the guild for me. I need to get stronger, I don't like that you're better than me." He admits. Due to her increase in magic, he was surpassed by Mirya.

"Come on old man. Let me have this." Mirya says, teasing him.

"Yeah right. We are throwing down the next time I come back." Gildarts tells her. She was surprised, he rarely started things himself. He tended to be the person to finish things.

"You got it old man." Mirya says, watching him place the note on the bar counter and leave through the back door.

She sits down at the counter to see the master open the guild doors with a flourish that was out of character for him. "Where's Gildarts?" He asks.

"The old fart? He's gone, but he left this." Mirya holds the envelope to the master.

The other members crowd around to see his face changing from emotion to emotion.

"That fool!" Master yells.

"What happened?" Mirya asks Freed.

"Master Makarov declared Gildarts as the fifth guild master. From there I have no idea." He says, causing her to choke. He hit her back, helping her breathe. She also heard noises of surprise from behind her. She turns to see Wendy, Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Happy, and Carla return.

"Thanks." She croaks out.

"Gildarts has placed his first and only orders. He wants us to reclaim our spot as best in Fiore. He has also reinstated Laxus as a member of Fairy Tail." Makarov says, causing Freed to cry tears of happiness.

"I knew he was a good man!" Freed praises Gildarts.

"His final order was passing the role of master back to me…" The master says, looking very weary. "You know what? Screw it! I'll be master until the day I die!" He roars. Mirya begins to laugh. In her opinion, Gildarts was the worst choice.

"Master, what made you think it was a good idea to make Gildarts the master?" Mirya asks, wanting to know why he thought that was a good idea.

"He has experience and the magic to make a good master." Master says.

"Yeah, but he is such a child. I mean really?" Mirya asks. The master only sighs.

"How will we reclaim our title?" He asks.

"I know!" Romeo jumps onto a table and garners the attention of everyone there.

"No way. You can't be serious." Droy says.

"Yeah we are not doing it again." That seemed to be the collective opinion of the older members.

"What are you guys talking about?" Mirya asks, wanting to know what could draw a negative response from the members.

"The Grand Magic Games. It started during the seven years you guys were gone. Guilds compete to see who would be crowned as the strongest guild." Romeo says. "It's the fastest way to reclaim our title."

"Let's do it!" Natsu yells.

"No way!" Macao responds.

"Oi! What are you scared of? You've got me there, I'll just destroy the competition." Mirya says, causing the others to sweatdrop.

"I am not sure. Most still need to catch up." The master says, pondering.

"When is it going to happen?" Natsu asks.

"It's going down in three months. And the winning guild gets 30,000,000 jewel." Romeo finishes.

"We shall take part! As the master I order it!" Makarov yells, blinded by easy riches.

"Oh yeah! That means I have an extra three months to train!" Mirya yells, causing heads to snap towards her.

"You're fine Mirya. You don't need improvement." Lucy says, fearing what three months would do to her powers. If she was able to learn how to use the King's powers in a month, then the amount she would progress in three was unimaginable.

"Get to it brats!" The master yells. Most started to converse on where and who they would go with.

"What about you child?" Makarov asks, he saw her hesitate.

"I'm not going to train with any of them." Mirya says to his shock.

"Why not?" He questions.

"I need a place completely secluded, and devoid of human presence. I don't want to hurt somebody." Mirya says.

"Well, Mt. Zonia was a good choice. But I don't think you would want to spend three months up there." The master comments. Mirya nods.

"Maybe I can travel somewhere." Mirya tells him.

"That seems to be the best thing to do." The master says, nodding his approval. "Where will you go?" He asks.

"No clue. Probably to a different continent." Mirya says.

"Yes. Don't blow anything up." The master says, causing her to pout.

"Okay… Maybe." Mirya says.

"Are you going to join us Mirya?" Erza asks.

"Sorry. It's better if I travel for a bit. But where are you guys going to go?" Mirya asks.

"We'll be training on the beach." Erza says.

"Maybe I'll join you for the last month of training." Mirya says.

"We'll be waiting." Erza says.

"Cool. Come on Piri! We've got places to be, people to see." Mirya waves her goodbye and leaves the guildhall. "I wasn't even back for a day and I'm leaving again." Mirya mutters to herself. Piri chirps.

"I told the master that I didn't know where I was going to go. But I know where I'm going to start." Mirya says, confusing Piri. Piri headbutts her.

"Okay, Okay. We are going to go visit Alvarez. I want to go see Zeref." Mirya admits. She's been flying since she left the guild and she was away from nosy ears.

"I want to see what this country is about. I mean, Zeref built it. Definitely something I need to see. Plus, I need to tell him that we made it out alright. He's going to be worried about us dragons." Mirya says. Piri chirps again.

"It takes ten days on a boat. I think I can cut that to three days if I use the waters and if I fly." Mirya says. She lands in Hargeon and begins to wander around the market. She was looking for provisions that would be enough for three days and that wouldn't weigh her down. Eventually she settled on some canned nuts, dried fruit and dried meat. With everything in hand she began her journey over the ocean to Alakitasia
