Topaz POV

I stretched and yawned, bright light was seeping in through my curtains and I was exhausted. Uncle Emmie had given us so much candy that I felt sick and he only gave it to us yesterday, Dad wasn't happy about it but he didn't go rage at Uncle Emmie. I laid in my bed and jus rested for about 10 minutes before drifting back off to sleep again. I awoke with Hunter squealing at me.

"Sissy!" Hunter squealed running over to my bed and jumping on it. He clearly wanted me to wake up.

"Hunter, go away. It's too early! You can choose. Go back to sleep or go back to sleep in my bed, I don't care what you pick but pick quickly." I whined loudly, keeping my eyes shut. Hunter got under the doona and snuggled in next to me, he buried his head into my chest and I stared to stroke his head sending him to sleep. I fell asleep too, hugging Hunter. I felt like I never wanted to wake up ever again.

In my sleep I was hugging Hunter close to me and I heard his breathing next to me. It was sending waves of calm to me while I was sleeping which made no sense to me. Someone woke me up shaking me lightly, I opened my eyes and slowly turned around, being careful not to wake Hunter from his soundless sleep.

"Morning sweetie." Mommy whispered quieter than normal, I smiled and turned back to Hunter.

"What time is it?" I mouthed to Mommy. She checked her watch and whispered back to me.

"It's 12 in the afternoon." She whispered and I nodded, I slowly and carefully moved away from Hunter and pulled his tiny hand off of my hair.

I crept out of my room shutting my door quietly. Next I went downstairs and bumped into Daddy who was walking into Hunter's bedroom.

"Morning Angel." He said and picked me up making me shriek quietly. He put me down but not before planting a kiss on my lips which I thought was gross.

"Hunter is sleeping in my room. He came into my room at like 5:30 this morning and started jumping on my bed. I gave him the choice of sleeping in his own bed again or s leeping in mine, He chose to sleep with me so yeah, we went back to sleep until 12." I explained to Daddy, then Mommy came out of her and Daddy's bedroom with her phone.

"Edward, look." She said and showed Daddy a picture. I saw the picture and it was me asleep cuddling Hunter who was on my curled up next to me his head on my chest and gripping onto my hair.

"You two are the cutest at times." Daddy said and walked into my bedroom to wake up Hunter. He wanted to wake Hunter up otherwise he would sleep all day.

I walked downstairs to get breakfast before getting dressed for the day and laying my school uniform out for tomorrow. I couldn't wait until Hunter came to school with me next year.

Once I had done this I went up to the first person that I saw which was Auntie Alice.

"Hey Topaz! How did you sleep? Do you wanna go sho-" Auntie Alice tried but I interrupted her.

"No! I don't want to go shopping right now. But can you please get me something to stop me feeling sick, I feel sick from all the candy yesterday." I said to her and she smiled and pulled out a medicine bottle from her pocket.

"I visioned that you might need some." She said and I hugged her, I loved her vision talent.

"Thank you." I said as she pulled the syringe from the bottle and went to put it in my mouth. I hated this medicine because it was orange, grape and cherry flavour.

"One, two, three." She counted quickly before putting the syringe in my mouth and quickly squirting it .

"Swallow, swallow." She coached, I swallowed fast trying to get the disgusting taste out of my mouth and off my tongue.

"Good girl." She said and hugged me knowing how much it hurt me to taste that trash.

Hunter came bounding down the stairs and into Auntie Alice's waiting arms.

"I missed you while you were sleeping." She said and kissed his head. I feel like everyone misses us when we are sleeping.
