The two demigods, one satyr and one mortal had their eyes closed, as they could feel their bodies being carried upwards, moving far from the Underworld and back to the surface.

It was after a minute when they all opened their eyes and found the milky white spheres had broke through the ocean floor, and were now racing towards the top of the ocean.

When they reached the surface, the sphere knocked into a lone surfer causing him to fall off his board. The surfer immediately swam towards the shore yelling, "SHARKS IN THE WATER! JAWS IS REAL!"

Before they could react to the surfer's panicked yells, it was then that the spheres each broke into little pieces, plunging the four into the water.

As they all began to look at where they were, they saw the Santa Monica beach just a little ways off from where they were floating. There were a few sharks circling around them but they kept their distance, no doubt due to Percy being the son of the sea god.

"Milord? Can we be of assistance?" a shark swam closer to the group, seemingly docile. Percy looked surprised for a moment but looked at his mother and friends then at the shore, which was quite far for them to swim. Percy knew he can swim there in no time at all but his mother and friends couldn't and might tire and drown.

Looking at the shark - a sandbar shark his mind immediately informed him - he nodded. "Could you help my mother and my friends and bring them to the shore? Just follow me."

"Of course, my prince." Percy's face shifted into slight unease at being called a 'prince' but pushed it aside as he watched the sharks swim closer to his mother and friends.

"Mom, Annabeth, Grover grab on to them. I asked to carry you to the shore." His words made the three look at the sharks warily which he picked up on and reassured them. "They won't eat you. They listen to me and Sandbar sharks don't bite unless threatened, so you have nothing to worry about."

The three of them relaxed and grabbed onto the Sharks' back fin letting the aquatic animals pull them along towards the beach. Percy moving ahead of them but seemingly not making any motions to propel him. Something that Annabeth took notice.

'He's willing the water to push him forwards while making himself float. He might be even faster when he pushes himself to go faster,' she realized while keeping hold around the fin of the shark that was pulling her.

It took around nearly 20 minutes before they reached the shallow part where the shark couldn't go any farther as they no longer had room to swim. Annabeth, Sally and Grover got off the sharks, the satyr saying thanks while Annabeth and Sally patted them on the head in gratitude.

As they walked closer to shore, they could see the city of Los Angeles just in the background. LA was on fire, plumes of smoke rising from neighborhoods all over the city. Hades has obviously caused an earthquake in his temper tantrum from their meeting but it seemed Naruto hadn't been able to calm him quick enough to prevent an earthquake. Not that they blame him, they knew Naruto would probably piss his pants if Hades' anger was directed solely at him.

Nothing else was said as they just continued wading the shallows. Eventually they made it towards the Santa Monica pier and went towards the beach. It was around 8 in the morning so not many people were around so no one saw Percy using his powers to will the water to dry off from the others' clothes.

They stumbled along the beach, watching the city burn against a beautiful sunrise. It was very ironic to see something that was causing such destruction to end up being called beautiful as well.

"I don't believe it," Annabeth said. "We went all that way—"

"It was a trick," Percy added not taking his eyes away from the burning Los Angeles said. "A strategy worthy of Athena as you would say."

If he had looked at Annabeth he would have seen that the girl seemed irritated at him. Sally did though and put a hand on the demigoddess' shoulder which seemed to calm the girl down. Annabeth gave a grateful nod to Percy's mother.

"The prophecy was right," Grover said speaking up for the first time. "'You shall go west and face the god who has turned.' We thought it would be Hades because he seemed like the one who would have gained the most but he didn't want war among himself and his brothers. Someone else was the thief, stole Zeus' Master Bolt and Hades' Helm of Darkness then framed you because you're the son of Poseidon. Your dad would be blamed from both sides and - " Grover paused looking at the sky. " - if we don't get to Olympus by sundown today, a three-way will start and you would be the cause of said war."

"Gee, Grover. Thanks for the vote of confidence. It was great knowing that I would be the reason a war started and lots of people would die." Percy sarcastic retort didn't go over the satyr who winced when Annabeth smacked one of his arms, silently glaring at the aspiring seeker of Pan.

"We have to wait for Naruto and find Ares to get the Helm back." The daughter of Athena said after glaring at her oldest friend.

"Percy who is that?" Sally interrupted, pointing towards a man walking towards them. Clad in a black leather duster was approaching on a motor cycle them while wearing a cocky grin on his face. He stopped just a little ways away from the putting a little distance between them and him.

"So you survived," Ares said staring at them behind his sun glasses. The group glared at him but the god only grinned. "And my hunting of a cunt sister's brat isn't here. Guess that means he's dead."

"You knew where the bolt was and stole Hades' helm," Percy accused.

"Right on brat, seems like you're smarter than you look but I didn't steal my dead uncle's helm and the old man's bolt. Stealing another god's symbol of power? Big no-no. You think you're the only hero that goes on errands for us gods?" Ares mocked pulling out the helm of darkness as the boy growled. "But since you kiddies are alive and knew everything I have to kill you now." He said nonchalantly making the helm of darkness disappear.

"Not gonna happen," a voice interjected making them look as a pillar of darkness appeared beside the four. Naruto, walking out of the shadows, glared at the god with slit and eyes shifting to red before turning normal. He stopped beside his friends as he and Percy pulled out their weapons and when Annabeth moved to do the same the older blonde stopped her. "Sorry Annabeth but I wont let you fight."

"But I can help!" She argued.

"You aren't experienced to fight someone more stronger than you. Percy has been fighting the monsters we encounter and he has the advantage of being near water which will heal him. Not to mention, we are fighting the god of war who has centuries of experience of battle. Plus this will be a destructive battle, me and Percy can heal without using godly food." Naruto reasoned.

Annabeth bit her lip in frustration, reluctantly nodding and giving him a hug for good luck. She then turned to Percy and gave her camp necklace. "Here so you'll know you have the camps support."

Grover gave them a bit of tin can. "And you have the support of all nature spirits!" He exclaimed.

The two smiled in appreciation. "Ugh, are you done? Lets skip the sappy moments and I want to see you dead." Ares snapped at them.

Percy glared at him while Naruto looked at him, the blonde's eyes flashing red for a moment. The war god caught this and grinned savagely. "Heh look at you two thinking you can win against me. You're ants compared to me, I've got a millenia of experience and power! What have you got?" The two boys shared a look then Percy turned speaking up. "We've got friends-"

Naruto's form suddenly disappeared making Ares' eyes widen as the blonde suddenly was in front of him. He didn't even have time to defend himself when the ninja did a spinning kick to his head, sending him flying. Naruto landed in a crouch, "-and guts!" Percy walked up next to him with a determined glare, watching as Ares got up nursing his jaw. The god glared at them before holding out his hand and a broad sword materialized in his hand. It had a skull as a guard and a bone as its handle. Then the blade was about 4 and half feet in length and 1 and a half wide, coated in dark red color which the demigods suspected was blood of the people that Ares killed.

The god's sun glasses melted as he glared at them, his fire like eyes burning bright and fierce, expressing his anger. "You'll pay for that, monster brat."

The son of Artemis' eyes flashed red at the term and he could faintly hear Kurama growl in his mind. "Bring it!" The two demigods yelled as they charged at him, Percy reaching him first pounced aiming to stab. Ares parried the attack and from there they started clashing swords. Ares made a downward slash and the sea green eyed boy was barely able to bring his sword to defend himself. To his surprise, he felt the sword hit much weaker than he expected and that caused him getting a cut across his chest and kicked back. Ares grinned before it was wiped off when he heard two shouts behind him.

"Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!"

"Lightning Style: False Darkness!"

A water dragon formed near the two identical Naruto were before it roared and charged towards Ares. The other spat out blue lightning that merged with the elemental dragon, which rammed into the war god who screamed as he felt himself get electrocuted. He was blown black when the lightning enhanced water dragon exploded and landed farther where he punted Percy, who had gotten up and moved near his friend.

Ares slowly got up, using his sword as a crutch and glared at the two mortal brats in front of him. Then he felt something drop from his mouth and he quickly touched it and froze. He put his hand up and looked at gold liquid staining his hand. He was bleeding. He got hurt. And most importantly it was from a demigod, two delinquent, inexperienced demigods. The son of his virgin hunting sister and his wet-headed uncle.

He glared furiously and roared, "You damn brats! I'll show you how useless it is to fight me!" Ares body seemed to glow as red ethereal power leaked out. His muscles seemed to bulge, eyes glowing brighter and fiercer before letting out a yell and he appeared in between them. Both of them watch with wide eyes and simultaneously thought 'Shit' before they were smacked away.

Ares followed after the blonde and was now standing above him sword poised to strike, he slammed his sword and it went through the blondes chest. He grinned in triumph at the death but it was promptly wiped off when the body was replaced with a broken log.

'Subsitution!' He thought alarmed and realization. He heard someone running behind him and brought his sword to block Percy's downward strike. Again both exchanged blows, Percy using his small and agile body while Ares used brute strength and anger with no technique, swiping his sword trying to hit the agile boy.

As they fought they kept moving and Percy felt something wet hit his feet. 'Water! I'm the son of Poseidon and I need to start to show it!' He thought as he willed the water beneath them to attack and restrain Ares. The water followed his demands and formed into spears flying towards the god. The war god stepped back in surprise but couldn't move. He looked down and found that seaweed was holding him and the water around his feet felt heavy.

"Gah!" He cried out in pain as he felt the liquid spears stab him in his shoulder, arms, and thighs.

"You forgot me you bastard!" Naruto's voice came from above him and was holding his kunais in reverse hold. It looked like he was going to attack from above, driving his knives down on his body. Ares would not allow that. His pride demanded that he won't lose to a bunch of lowly demigods. Again his body exploded with power and his restraints and the one powering the restraints were blown away, leaving the blonde to continue his descent on the now free god.

Their weapons met with a loud clang and Naruto turned his body to do a scissor kick to Ares head, only for him to bow avoiding it. The jinchuuriki landed and used his earlier momentum to sweep ares legs under him. The god stepped back and tackled his opponent to the ground and proceeded to beat him up.

"Is that the best you got Jinchuuriki?!" The war monger taunted as he continued to brutally punch Naruto. He raised his fist to deliver another blow but met resistance. The water around formed into bonds restraining him once again, only this time he was thrown away from the blonde's body. He landed into the more deeper parts of the water, where Percy was waiting with his sword. The boy lashed out intending to slice the god into pieces.

But the war god didn't want that to happen.

Ares managed to twist his body around, dodging Percy's weapon before managing to do an axe kick to Percy's head dropping him to the wet sandy ground with a splash. The son of Poseidon gritted his teeth in pain before he felt someone else moving through the water. He rolled to his left, getting to his feet just in time as Ares' sword stabbed where his head previously was.

The two re-engaging into another fight of blades. Even as Ares tried to overpower Percy, the demigod was able to balance the fight by using the water to form tendrils to trip up the god, making weapons of hardened water to aid him or simply blasting Ares with a pressure blast of sea water.

"This is bad… Naruto isn't getting up." Grover bleated nervously as he watched the fight behind his hands, occasionally peaking through the gap of his fingers. From beside him, Sally had grabbed Annabeth's hand in worry. Who wouldn't when you were watching your son and his friend fight an actual god of war?

"Percy is getting tired," Sally frantically whispered. She watched as her son evaded the god's blade but seemingly stumble from time to time. "Even if he's in the water giving him a boost of energy, he can't keep up forever."

"We have to do something," Grover said, throwing out an idea nervously. Something that Sally hesitantly agreed with as they tried to come up with a plan to help Percy and Naruto. Annabeth was about to join in but noticed something was moving towards the fight.

Percy jumped out of the way of the sword aiming to impale his head then leaning his body back away from the god's fist. He then retaliated with two sword swipe combo before catching Ares with a kick to the chest. Not faltering in his attack, he jumped and delivered a diagonal slash to his opponent's torso but Ares parried Percy's sword and backhanded him.

"JUST DIE, SEA SPAWN!" Ares roared, lunging to kill the child of the sea. A foot to the head deterred his approach causing him to tumble across the sand.

"Earth Style: Giant Stone Arm!"

He looked up just in time to see the jinchuuriki to bash on the face with a stone gauntlet. The impact caused the god to roll over the ground a few times before stopping.

Ares' arms were shaking as he slowly pushed himself up to his feet. This two brats were almost messing with him, beating him up easily! Oh he already got a few hits in but compared to the damage they did to him to what he did to them, he was not pretty to look at.

"You brats…" he growled furiously. "are pissing me off!" Ares' form erupted with translucent aura, power leaking out of his body.

The two teens fighting the gods had to brace themselves, arms up to protect their faces from the fierce gale winds while they stepped back from the energy they felt coming from the god. "What does it take to make this guy down?!" Naruto half-yelled, half complained.

"Drown him?!" Percy suggested out loud.

"No. Beat him to the ground until he submits to you two," Kurama said growled inside the Senju's head.

'How?! He just keeps getting stronger every time we push him into a corner.' Naruto argued.

"Well think of something fast because he's making a - DODGE!" The Tailed Beast's deep voice turn into a frantic roar nearly causing the shinobi a headache but followed through his tenant's warning. A good thing he did too because a large battleaxe just slammed into where he stood previously.

Naruto landed beside his friend, kunai held in reverse while Percy was holding his sword in a defensive position. "Douse him!"

Percy thrust his hand outward and the water responded in kind. The water at their feet lashed out hitting Ares with the force of a speeding car but not enough to throw him back. The son of Poseidon realized this and yelled in anger. The water suddenly started to emit steam and Naruto could only watch in surprise. He could feel the water turn from cold to hot so sudden and judging from the pained screams coming from Ares, it would seem the water was hot as regular fire.

'Percy made the water scalding hot, enough to leave burn marks.' the son of Artemis thought in surprise. He heard an amused scoff echo in his head.

"The water boy is full of surprises. Just like you I believe." Naruto let a brief smile cross his face. It wasn't often Kurama praised or complimented someone, only Naruto had the privilege of being graced by the Tailed Beast's kind words. So hearing Kurama genuinely compliment his friend made Percy a good person in the fox's view.

The water attack stopped letting them see that Ares had withstood the attack with his arms protecting his torso and face. What was different was his arms were steaming, red with painful obvious burns from Percy's attack.

"I've had enough of this!" Ares roared, fierce gales of wind slightly pushing the two demigods back. Before they could attack, Ares was in front of Percy and had punched him in the face caught him by the face and threw him away. Even with the swift attack, the god had not let his guard down as he swatted the kunai aimed at his torso. He kicked the blonde's knees causing it to bend unnaturally inwards eliciting a scream of pain from the son of Artemis.

If that wasn't enough, Ares let out a devastating uppercut that threw him on his back and then pinned him to the ground with a sword through his stomach.

"GAAAAHHHHHH!" The blonde's pained scream was so loud it made the others flinch at the sound.

"SHIT! NARUTO HOLD ON!" Kurama yelled as he tried to sent the blonde more of his chakra. He felt something blocking his chakra from moving and immediately noticed that Ares had left his sword on his host's stomach.

'Damn it! The war god's sword has his energy in it and stopping me from sending chakra to the wound.' the Nine-tailed Fox gritted its teeth as he felt useless in helping his first friend.

Not missing a beat, Ares moved where he threw Percy who was getting up albeit stumbling a few times. The son of Poseidon barely had time to put his sword up though it didn't matter as Ares simply pushed Percy's sword hand with his free hand. He smacked the wrist of Percy's sword hand, disarming the demigod followed by grabbing Percy's weapon and stabbing it in his forearm to the ground.

"ARGHH!" Percy's cry of pain drowned out his mother's worried yell. Though it was short lived as the god of war started beating his face up. It went on for a few seconds and ended with the god kicking the demigod in the chest.

HUNTERS' CAMP

"Alright girls, everything packed up?" Artemis asked, one hand on her hip and the other to her side as she looked at her hunters.

"Yes milady." The girls affirmed with a short bow of their heads. The goddess of the hunt sighed when she saw a few of them still bowed to her in a more formal manner.

She rarely cared for formalities and repeatedly told her hunters that they didn't have to bow to her all the time or just a nod of their head would suffice. Some the younger or new hunters listened to her and did as she suggested but always respected her. Her older hunters, like Zoe and Phoebe were prone to be more formal while she knew Anko and Yugao respected her as someone in authority as they were former shinobis who always respected and obeyed the person in authority.

After Anko reported to her what happened about Anko's meet up with her son and his friends, she had been happy that her son was alright after freeing his friend from the Lotus Hotel and Casino. She would definitely not be happy if she learned that her son had gambled. Though if she knew that Yugao had made fake for herself and Naruto using a henge to go in a casino one time because the son of Artemis had been curious what was inside, she would have ranted and scolded her son then punished Yugao for letting her son in a casino by tying pieces of meat around Yugao and letting the Hunt's wolves chase after her.

Just as Artemis was about to lead her hunters to a new area, three flashes of light appeared. The hunters averted their eyes lest they die from seeing an immortal's form even if it was a brief moment.

Artemis looked at the new arrivals in curiosity though she sent a look of annoyance towards one of the arrivals. Many of the hunters bowed to Athena respectfully while Poseidon received stiff bows while the twin of Artemis received stiff glares

"Sister," Athena spoke up and Artemis could tell something was amiss as her sister sounded serious. Even her uncle and brother had looks of seriousness on their face. "Father's Master Bolt has been found." She revealed.

"If it is found, who has the bolt now?" The moon goddess asked.

"It would appear that Ares had taken the bolt and hid it from us," Poseidon informed in a grim tone. Artemis rolled her eyes when she learned of this.

"Typical Ares," she scoffed. "Let me guess, the idiot tried to start a war between you and father?"

This time it was Apollo who spoke. "Not only that sis, we and the others have been watching Ares the moment he revealed the Master Bolt, Hades has also reported that his Helm of Darkness had been missing as well." A second later his serious expression faltered and the hunters could easily tell that the sun god was nervous which confused them. "T-There's also s-something else."

Artemis didn't know why but her brother's stutter annoyed her as he seemed to be stumbling on his words. "What is it? Just say it you big ball of gas."

The god of medicine and the sun gulped, sharing a brief look with Athena and Poseidon both nodding their heads.

"Ares is presently at Santa Monica Beach in L.A and is fighting Percy Jackson and… Naruto."

…

There was a brief silence as everyone registered the god's words.

'Naruto and his friends are fighting the god of war?' Yugao thought in shock.

'Oh shit! Lady Artemis already warned the god of war to not actively seek a fight with Fox-boy.' Anko thought in alarm. The former kunoichis shared looks and had the same thought.

'Mama Wolf is gonna come out.'

And not a second later, a pulse of power was released in a wave setting a heavy pressure over the area. Some of the hunters had collapsed on their knees while the former kunoichis and older hunters stumbled as they tried to regain their balance.

Athena, Apollo and Poseidon had been expecting this reaction but did not expect at how powerful the wave of power that the moon goddess had emitted.

'I know Artemis could easily be angered and her anger is not to be trifled with,' Athena thought as she looked at her half sister in shock. 'But I think this is Artemis' angriest moment I've witnessed, counting Orion's betrayal and Aphrodite's shenanigans of trying to corrupt her past hunters.'

Poseidon also had the same thought as his rival. This had been the angriest he had seen his niece. 'I best hope that she doesn't turn her anger on me and that when the moment Percy meets her, does not disrespect her. I better just steer clear of her at the moment.' Apollo was already a step ahead of the elder Olympian as he discretely tried to hide behind Athena.

While the two gods and other goddess watched their fellow Olympian rant and vent her anger towards Ares, a few of hunters tried to calm their patron with varying degrees of success. Only Yugao, Anko and other senior Hunters were able to calm her down.

"Lady Artemis, perhaps you should watch how your son and his friends are doing?" Yugao asked tentatively. Artemis briefly closed her eyes letting out a sigh, the goddess of the hunt opened her eyes then waved her hand.

A the area where she waved her hand flickered before a window size rainbow appeared. The rainbow shimmered then started to project the location of Santa Monica bay.

When the image was more clear to see, everyone let out a short gasp even the hunters while Athena's eyes widened. Poseidon and Artemis felt fear, worry, concern and anger course through them. Even Apollo who was gritting his teeth as he glared at his half brother fighting his demigod nephew and cousin.

They watched as Ares beat down the blonde and stabbed his sword through his stomach.

"NARUTO!" Artemis let out a panicked scream along with Yugao and Anko. The hunters that Naruto and Yugao saved felt worry surge at the sight of the teen. He had helped them, save them from what could be a painful and traumatic event and gave them a chance to be happy which lead them here in the Hunt.

They continued to watch and another gasp rang out as Ares moved on and did the same to Percy disarmed him and pinned to the ground with Percy's own sword through the demigod's arm.

"Percy…" The Sea god's voice rumbled with fury at his nephew's action while worry and concern showed in his eyes. He did not take his eyes off the Iris-message image.

The mother of Naruto could not take it any longer, she stood up her body glowing as she prepared to teleport to where her son and give Ares the motherly fury beat down he signed himself.

A hand clamped down on her right arm and Artemis glared at the offending limb before glaring at its owner. "Let go, Athena!"

"I cannot let you go sister," the wisdom goddess replied calmly but if one paid attention closely they could see small beads of sweat on the side of her face which belied her nervousness. Nervousness in stopping an angry mother on a warpath.

"Athena," The goddess of the moon spoke in a deathly tone that sent a chill to everyone's spine. "Let. Go. Or I will not hesitate in shooting an arrow at you." The glare Athena received was certainly frightening and she would have compared it to her shield's ability to scare away anyone who looked at it.

"Sister, we cannot interfere." Athena argued back and Apollo was quick to back her up.

"She's right, sis. We'd be breaking the ancient laws, if we do then we wouldn't be punished but Naruto and his friends will." He admitted. When his twin looked at him he couldn't help but grimace slightly.

His twin sister was shaking, her eyes were red and puffy as small tears fell down on her face. Her whole body was shaking - whether it was from anger or something else, Apollo would rather not know at the moment.

"B-But he hurt h-him. My b-baby boy." Her hunters had never seen their mistress so vulnerable before. She was always strong - displayed confidence and firm stance about everything. They had seen her happy a few times and she had been recently smiling a lot which they attributed to her son somehow. But they had never heard their patron plead to her brother - and that was saying something as Artemis was not shy to show her irritation at her twin but kept him at arms length because he was her brother.

A heavy hand settled on the hunting goddess' shoulder and she looked up at her uncle who sport a similar look but had acceptance. "We feel the same as you, dear niece. I have no doubt Athena would likely hurt or mostly like castrate your idiot of war mongering brother but there's nothing we can do. All we can do is hope that they can beat Ares." He said comfortingly.

Artemis stared at her uncle and she could see how his hand tightened around his trident, especially whenever he looked at his son and mortal lover. She looked at her twin and sister and could see their own signs of anger, Athena's face was twitching and her arms were crossed her hands gripping her bicep so tight almost drew ichor. Apollo was scowling and the normal glow around him had dimmed, not only that she could also feel the heat he exuded more intense than normal.

So it was with great reluctance she calm down and returned to watch the Iris-Message along with the others. Even as she turned to looked at the fight she had one thought.

'If Ares goes too far, fuck the ancient laws.' she thought with silent snarl. 'If I can save my baby then that's all I care about.'

SANTA MONICA BEACH

'K-Kura-ma' the blonde shinobi grunted. 'H-Help me…'

"I'm trying Naruto! But that god's sword is stopping me, its blocking my chakra!" the fox replied frantically. "You have to take sword out!"

'I… I c-can't… too… too w-weak.' The blonde's breathing turn to rasping and erratic.

Meanwhile Ares was leering over Percy. "Heh," he scoffed. "Seems like the Wet Head's kid ain't tough at all." Suddenly sirens could be heard as multiple police cars arrived at the scene. Police officers stepped out and aimed their guns at Ares' figure.

"FREEZE! DROP THE BAT AND GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEES!" one of the officers ordered.

Ares just scowled at the police. "Mortals have no affairs here! Begone!" he thrust a hand towards the police and an invisible force slammed into them causing most to fly in different directions and their vehicles to flip over.

"B-Bastard," Percy growled weakly from his position. He had seen what the god did and it pissed him off knowing the god was attacking mortals.

"Quiet sea spawn," Ares hissed down at him before turning to look at where Percy's mother and the others were standing at. "I think I can get a consolation prize." His eyes which were balls of fire seemed to stare at Sally who knew the god was undressing her with his eyes. The clear-sighted mortal shuddered at the lustful look on the god's face. "Not to mention I get to piss of Barnacle Beard by fucking his lover."

"D-Don't you dare touch my mother!" Percy snarled furiously struggling from his position. He grabbed the sword by the hilt with his uninjured hand trying to pull his sword out of his arm with little success. Ares paid the demigod no mind as he started to walk towards Sally and Grover.

"P-Percy!" Sally cried out reaching out to her son but Grover held her back.

"Ms Jackson! W-We have to go, h-he's coming this w-way!"

The god was just a few steps in coming at arm's length towards the two but noticed something was wrong. He looked at Sally and Grover then his eyes widened in realization.

'Where the fuck is Athena's brat?' he started to look around but had no time to do so as he cried out and felt something stabbed him behind his right shoulder.

His eyes caught the air shimmering behind him about three steps to his right. He turned swiftly and deftly hit something invisible with his backhand. The daughter of Athena suddenly appeared, flying from the hard slap as her invisibility cap got knocked off while dropping her knife and she tumbled on the ground dazed.

The demigoddess who now had a faint bruise on her right cheek had no time to react when she heard the crunching of sand coming closer then a hand clutched around her throat. She let out a choked gasp as the hand lifted her up in the air and her bleary eyes could faintly see Ares' face close to her.

"Huh," she faintly heard him. "Are you sure you're one of Athena's brain baby? 'Cause you're too pretty to be one and rival one of Dite's kids." At this, her mind easily deducted what he planned to do to her. She frantically clawed at the hand clutched around her throat and feet lashing out under her as she tried to kick the god.

"LET HER GO!" a bleating war cry came from behind Ares who turned to look at the new annoyance. The satyr was charging towards them with stick in hand.

Ares grumbled at the interruption, "Stupid goat." He waved his hand and like before the satyr was hit by an invisible force like the officers experienced and crashed back to where Sally was watching horrified and helpless.

"P-Percy… N-Naruto…" Annabeth's choked out. Her breathing had become shallow as she desperately breathe in oxygen. "H-Help… m-me…" the last two words she whispered before succumbing to unconsciousness, falling limp in Ares' hand.

The god seemingly looked disappointed when the girl fainted while in his hand. Yet from a far, Percy and Naruto could only watch as their friend fall limp and their minds immediately thinking of the worst. If that wasn't enough, they saw Ares drop her to the ground then kicked her sliding across the sand towards them.

Their eyes focused on bruise on her hand and mark of the hand around her throat.

Ares just looked at the girl and sighed. "Well that was unsatisfying. Thought I'd at least get a fight from the brat, but I guess she's just a stupid weak little girl." As soon as those words left his mouth there was prolonged silence.

…

"GGRRAAAAAHHHH!" two loud screams were emitted before two waves of power exploded on the beach.

Ares was pushed back from the powerful wave. He dug his foot on the sand trying to anchor himself and protect his face from the fierce gales of wind and sand.

"What the Hades?!" He yelled in confusion trying to see through the sudden sandstorm. His eyes squinted but widened in disbelief and anger as he caught sight of what was happening.

From Percy's place, the demigod was now standing with a hole through his left forearm, blood dripping from his wounds and bruises littered in places from the beating he received yet was slowly disappearing. The water around him slowly surging towards him and covering the wounds on his body, the wounds briefly glowed before it disappeared leaving nothing on Percy's body except for the large scar on his left forearm. Not only that a fierce wind circle the demigod as his eyes glowed brightly and the water around him turned into a small water spout with him in the center. Then if one looked closer, they would also see water covering his wounds and glowed.

Orange chakra exploded from Naruto's body and bathed the area with dread. The orange chakra bubbled then started to surround the jinchuuriki in the form of a shroud in the shape of a fox. The chakra shroud grew a tail over his tail bone and grew fox like ears over his head. The blonde auburn streaked teen's hair started to become more spiky and long standing on end. His eyes which were hetorochrome silver and brown turned blood red with his pupils thinned into slits. His nails turned into claws and the mask that hid his lower face was gone from the beating he received revealed his whisker marks had deepened and darker while his canines sharpened along with dark markings forming around his lips.

The tail lengthened then wrapped around the sword embedded on his stomach then pulled it out and threw it away. The teen slowly started to rise using only his feet as anchors as his body righted itself and lowered himself into all fours. His lips curled into a feral snarl as he glared at the god. Slowly another tail started to sprout behind him quickly followed by another, as this happened the wounds over his body started to steam.

Ares could only watch in shock as all the wounds he had inflicted on the two boys being healed before his eyes.

"H-HOW?! DEMIGODS CAN'T THAT FAST! CONSUMING TOO MUCH AMBROSIA AND NECTAR WILL BURN YOU INSIDE OUT!"

Percy breathed in deeply before letting it out and glared at the god in front of them. He willed the water to carry Annabeth towards his mother and Grover. The liquid followed his command, forming a platform under the unconscious girl and swiftly but carefully brought to Sally who was watching in awe but quickly took Annabeth in her arms. Grover hastily kneeling beside them as he took out a flask of nectar and making Annabeth drink it and pouring small portions over her bruises.

"You made a mistake," Percy's voice seemed deeper and when he spoke, it sounded like his voice was distorted. Walking up on all fours, the lone shinobi in the area growled which reverberated through the area. His 3 chakra tails lashing out behind him but not hitting his fellow demigod.

"Now you'll pay," Naruto snarled before letting out a loud roar. "FOR HURTING OUR PRECIOUS PEOPLE!"

When Ares blinked he was flabbergasted when he heard a boom and sand kicked up all around him yet the son of Artemis had disappeared. A spike of pain erupted from his right arm and multiple cuts appear over the limb. He yelled and grasped his arm to alleviate the pain.

Suddenly he felt his feet getting wet, he only had a second to look down to see water gathering around his knees before he felt his feet getting pulled out under him. A large tendril of water encompassed his legs and started to smack him around the beach, repeatedly.

WITH THE HUNTERS AND OLYMPIANS

All of just watched in shock at the fight. The hunters' jaw were agape as they watched their mistress' son emit a shroud of orange bubbling energy in the shape of a fox with three tails.

Anko was part of that group, she had never bonded with Naruto like Yugao did as she had been part of the hunt ever since they arrived to this world. The only time she was with Naruto was when she met him and his friends in Las Vegas and the time she took watching over him back in the Hidden Leaf.

Beside her sister kunoichi, Yugao watched in awe, proud and worry. She already knew the power her little brother contained and only felt a sliver of Kurama's power whenever Naruto isolated himself to train in using Tailed Beast chakra. Knowing this, she felt proud that he was able to control himself instead of going out of control like she feared and heard from other shinobi that had met a jinchuuriki. But lingering worry nearly overrode her other emotions as she also knew that using that much Tailed Beast chakra would hurt Naruto's body.

Close by the Hunters, the four Olympians couldn't help but watch in disbelief, worry and, for Poseidon and Artemis' case proud. The two parents were beside themselves with worry at the sight of their child being beaten but was surprised to see them release their power, Poseidon more so.

"How?" Athena's question was nearly unheard but Apollo had keen senses on par to his sister.

"'How' What Athena?" he asked back.

"How is your son this strong?" She softly demanded, directing it towards her rival since Athens.

"I thought he wouldn't be this strong yet…" The sea god murmured to himself like he hadn't heard Athena at all. "Percy is strong because he's very connected to his emotions."

"How does that relate to Athena's question?" Artemis asked a bit confused at her uncle's answer.

"I think I get it," Apollo, who had been contemplating Poseidon's word, spoke up. "You know how humans get more strength through emotions? An example is a desperate mother can lift up a car just to save their child. They get a boost of energy due to adrenaline which makes them capable of doing inhuman feats." He explained.

Then Athena cut in following the same thought, "Perseus' emotion, his rage amplified his powers to a greater lever due to my… daughter's condition, along with Artemis' son accessing the Nine Tail's power."

"Speaking of his the Nine Tail's power, is the seal broken?" Apollo asked worriedly but someone else who had heard the question stepped up to them.

"I'm sorry to eaves drop Ladies Artemis, Athena and Lords Poseidon, Apollo. But I can assure you that the seal hasn't broke. I am not seals expert but Naruto's seal is even greater than the Eight Tailed Jinchuuriki who is currently the strongest of all Jinchuuriki due to his complete synchronization with his Tailed Beast." She informed them. "All Naruto is doing is borrowing Kurama's power though there is a risk of losing control."

"Lose control?" Poseidon asked.

"Kurama's chakra is volatile and tainted in hatred. Naruto could easily succumb to the hatred and bloodlust and prone to attack anything in sight, he can't distinguish from friend or foe if his will is not strong enough." Yugao clarified.

"So how strong is he?" Athena couldn't help but ask.

Yugao took a moment to think about her assessment of her brother's strength. "Using his own skills gained from training, Naruto could be at the strength of a high chuunin or low jounin at the moment. When using Kurama's chakra, it depends on how many tails uses."

"So in other words," Apollo cut in. "you don't know how strong he is?" Yugao could only shrug.

"Naruto trains himself so he can protect others, with his training method and Kurama's support and power he has the potential to be one of the strongest people."

At this, Athena and the other two gods wondered how potentially strong could Naruto be. He isn't at his prime yet and both Athena and Apollo vaguely understood that shinobi continue to grow strong if they trained themselves but didn't know about how Naruto did his training.

Meanwhile, the goddess of the hunt felt proud at her hunter's words about her son. But at the moment she was watching her son and Poseidon's son continue to beat Ares.

SANTA MONICA BEACH

The god of war tumbled all over the ground. He weakly lifted his head and spat out a mix of ichor and sand that got into his mouth. He heard something whistle through the air and immediately rolled to his left. Two arrows struck the space where he once occupied.

He stood up swaying slightly and got his arms up just in time to defend himself from a vicious punch. He struck back catching the puncher's wrist to pull them towards him and sent an upper cut through the son of Poseidon's guard. Before his fist could land, the boy was replaced by Naruto who caught his punch in two hands. The god gnashed his teeth as his fist started to burn and his skin peel off.

'The fox brat's energy thingy is burning through my skin!'

Ares dragged his hand back and smashed his head against the teen who flinched which made him loosen his grip on the god's hand. The god of war tried to follow up with another punch but something slammed into his side sending him rolling across the beach.

From the side, Percy had his fist out while floating in front of him was water in the shape of a fist. Naruto suddenly appeared beside him in an orange blur on all fours, the shinobi tensed a growl emitting from his chest.

"RAAAHHHHH!" A loud escape his mouth and the air in front of them was displaced in the form of wave towards the battered god. Ares was further pushed back towards the sea and both demigod teens were not about to let up on the opportunity.

Silver lightning erupted all over Naruto's body just as Percy gathered a copious amount of water. Both then launched their respective elemental attacks which again combined.

"Lightning Style: Moon Lightning!"

The god of war could only watch with wide eyes as the attack headed towards him. He moved to the side but was met with resistance. He looked down to see tendrils of water restricting his body along with three chakra tails coming from underground. He looked back up just in time for the elemental attack to hit him.

BOOM

A large explosion was heard through out the beach. Wind buffeting everyone on the beach and the sand around them being pushed in multiple directions.

From behind the two alert demigods, Sally and Grover who were able to wake Annabeth stared in disbelief at the sight.

'They a-actually beat A-Ares!' Grover exclaimed in his mind.

'They did it! They won!' The daughter of Athena thought as she looked at the two in awe. Her bruises were treated appropriately by Sally and Grover so there were no physical marks left on her but was left completely exhausted.

'I'm proud of you Percy and Naruto,' was Sally's thought. She had been sympathetic to Naruto ever since she met him and Yugao also knowing about him as a demigod. She lost her parents when she was seven years old knowing what Naruto experience before moving. However, during the time she met him Sally will gladly admit she would call him as surrogate nephew or brother.

The two demigods, who neither didn't have a cloak of chakra around them or was glowing eyes, waited for any signs of Ares for nearly a minute until the god emerged from the sea. He was stumbling as if he was drunk barely able to stand. His shirt was torn and frayed and the skin on his torso was black charred by the lightning attacks he suffered. Numerous cuts and burns were all over his body and leaking ichor but was healing albeit in a snail's pace.

When he was close to them, he stopped at the water where it reached his ankles and fell to his knees. Then what happened next was something they didn't expect.

A cold chill ran down their spines as a dark heavy presence wafted over the beach. The four campers shuddered at the dark presence.

'T-This feeling…' Annabeth panicking slightly. "The Crooked One…" she whispered to herself. Beside her, Grover was pale and bleating fearfully thinking that the fallen Titan was about to appear. In their arms, Sally was unconscious having fainted from the powerful presence. She was clear-sighted mortal and she knew could guess what or who the presence was but all the same she is a mortal so she wasn't able to handle its presence quite well.

Suddenly a dark cloud of miasma started to appear out of Ares' body, the three demigods and satyr can tell that it was the origin of the dark presence. The dark miasma pulsed and all of them heard an eerie growl before it disappeared. The four campers let out a breath they didn't know they were holding.

Ares let out a cough before glaring at them. "You have made an enemy, godlings." Percy and Naruto could hear power behind his powers and wondered why, but the Tailed Beast inside a seal could feel the intent and power behind it. Kurama's eyes widened in realization.

"NARUTO! I'LL TAKE CONTROL NOW!"

Naruto's eyes blink confused before his body jerked forward. The blonde with auburn streaks lifted his head to reveal blood red eyes with slitted pupils and his whisker marks were more bolder and dark.

"You have seal-"

Kurama, possessing his jinchuuriki's body, quickly ran through hand seals. "FIRE STYLE: FOX FIRE!"

Whitish hot flames erupted from his mouth and made its way towards the injured god, cutting off whatever he was going to say. Ares' eyes widened before his body started to glow which made Kurama tackle Percy to the ground and yelled towards the Annabeth and Grover.

"Don't look! He's revealing his true form!" his warning were quickly followed as Annabeth shut her eyes then looked away while Grover moved over and shielded Sally's body with his own, his back facing towards Ares.

The god was gone in a flash of red light leaving the beach in complete silence. All that was left that indicated that he was there was the destruction that their fight caused as the god's bike was also gone. In its place was a obsidian black helmet. The son of Artemis walked towards it and picked it up, then sat got back to others along with Percy.

The campers of Camp Half-Blood sat then lied down on their backs, staring at the sky above them.

"So… that went well." Percy started prompting a dry chuckle from Naruto and incredulous looks from Annabeth, Grover and even his mother.

"Well?" Annabeth and Sally asked blankly. "More like terrifying/stressful." The two females looked at one another with looks of agreement.

"I THOUGHT IT WAS AWESOME!" Grover suddenly cheered throwing his arms to the sky. "You and Naruto beat a god! No demigod has ever fought a god on their first quest and won!"

"It certainly is… enlightening." Kurama's deep voice escaped Naruto's mouth. The Tailed Beast furrowed his container's brow.

"By the way, why did you stop Ares from speaking?" Annabeth asked.

"Yeah, it seem liked he was gonna monologue like a comic book cliche villain," Percy pointed out which made Kurama chuckle at the boy's ignorance.

"He was not gonna monologue." Kurama denied as he sat up to look at them. "You may know that I am a being of malevolent energy but nevertheless still energy. His words contained power and intended to curse you. What curse it is I do not know but given that he is the god of war, he would curse your weapons that will make you struggle to use it during a battle of life or death." Kurama explaining his deduction.

"Oh…" was the smart reply from the two pre-teens and satyr which caused the Tailed Beast to snort in amusement.

"If that is all, then I shall go. I at least the opportunity to stretch my limbs, metaphorically speaking." The fox's last words confused the three before they saw Naruto's red eyes fade and turn back into his mistmatched eyes.

Annabeth opened her mouth to tell the older blonde what happened but stopped when he raised a hand. "No need to tell me. I can hear what's going while Kurama takes control of me, its like riding shotgun or looking from another view."

"So what now?" Grover asked as Percy took his mother from him and started to wake her up. As the three of them wondered if they should rest for a while before delivering the Master Bolt to Zeus, no one noticed Naruto looking at the Helm of Darkness as he remembered his deal with Hades.

FLASHBACK

"Now, Naruto Senju, this is our terms of agreement. You will become my champion to deal with problems relating to the underworld that has reached the mortal world. Your first task is to retrieve my Helm from my wayward nephew."

Naruto bowed to the god before looking up to him. "If I may ask my lord, what does becoming a champion from a god entails? Is it any different from being a regular demigod?" he asked uncertainly. The question seemed to make Hades snort in amusement.

"Quite different if I'm honest." Hades admitted to the boy. "A champion of a god will become similar to a servant or in this time's words, an employee. I will be calling for you at different times to do a task that needs to be resolved in my stead. As an example I have a connection to death and I judge the dead where they will go based on what they did, if there is someone in the mortal world that needs to be killed then I shall send for you to do it," here the pale skinned god raised a brow of amusement and satisfaction. "Not that you haven't done that before with your vigilante activities with one of your sisters."

When the god mentioned his past activity with Yugao, the blonde blushed under his mask and looked at the ground. The teen could faintly hear Kurama snickering at the back of his mind, so he imagined a muzzle forming on his snout and he heard surprised yelp in his mind causing the teen to smirk in triumph.

"Is that all Lord Hades?" he questioned getting his mind back on track but the god shook his head.

"There is one last thing, as you will be my champion I will give you my blessing to enter the Underworld as long as it pertains anything related to me along with a few powers that are common for my children."

After he said this, the god stood from his throne and walked towards the son of Artemis. He placed a hand on the boy's forehead and started to chant in ancient Greek.

"Sas ischyrízomai os protathlitís mou, ekprosopó kai écho timí sto House of Hades. Me aftó sas díno tin evlogía mou kai sas epitrépo na beíte ston Káto Kósmo." A grey light illuminated where his hand was connected to the boy's head that slowly flowed all over his body.

For Naruto he could feel two sensations flowing through, warm and cold which he thought it made sense since Hades had connections to death and he is a god so he would be toeing the line of dead and alive.

"Okay that felt weird to me." Kurama spoke in his head.

'What do you mean?' Naruto mentally asked.

"It's like adding a piece of puzzle that doesn't exactly fit at the puzzle at all but somehow managed to fit. I don't know, I never had a god bless my jinchuuriki and by extension me. Its like I have another tail but invisible cause I can feel something as well." The fox explained.

Hades stepped back and returned to his throne. "Unfortunately, Senju you are on a time limit. I also believe that my wayward nephew is confronting your friends as we speak." He told the boy while glancing up at the cavern ceiling of the Underworld.

"I shall send you to your friends. But remember our deal demigod, only child of Artemis you maybe, you are still a demigod. Deliver my Helm along with my brother's Master Bolt in Olympus, there I shall wait for it."

The god waved his hand and shadows converged towards the blonde and engulfed him. The teen felt light for moment as darkness clouded his vision before it was replaced by a sea of black and white. He blinked and suddenly he saw black and white outlines of his friends, Sally talking to Ares who was in front of them.

Not knowing how to get out, he took a risk of stepping forward and was surprised to feel the light sensation of being weightless lessen and colors returned to his vision. Then he stepped out in a pillar of shadows.

FLASHBACK END

"Naruto!"

A shout jostled him from his memory of his deal with Hades, he turned to see Percy and the others were now standing.

"The police are here, they'll be taking statements of what happened," Sally explained nervously as the group could see the police were now securing the area and two of them were walking towards the group. Not long after there were sirens as ambulances approached.

"What do we tell - baah - them?" Grover bleated anxiously.

At Grover's question, the two blondes in the group perked up and looked at one another. They seemingly started to communicate through their eyes, which confused Percy, Grover and Sally to what they were doing before the two blondes looked at the other three.

"We have an idea." The two of them stated with shit eating grins on their faces.

Okay that's the 21st chapter of this story. I'm really sorry for not updating so soon. I've been having a tough time to write cause of writer's block. I'm a very easily distracted person so please don't hate. I think this is my second longest chapter? about 10,000 words in total.

So there's the fight on the beach. Naruto used three tails and Percy had a "power up moment". Yeah I read some fanfics that showed Percy doing getting a boost of power through emotions later on like during Heroes of Olympus Series or The Last Olympian book. I wanted to be more different like because Percy is a pre-teen demigod of Poseidon he is more at risk to falling for his emotions and a child or pre-teen starting puberty will more moody. His powers are slightly connected to his emotions so it would be believable, and not only that Percy has recently just started using his powers so he's not really an expert at the start of this. This is to help build up his character.

I think some of you have noticed that I'm sort of down playing Annabeth's strength here and treating her like a glass princess or something similar to that but I have a reason for that. She has been living in camp for the past five years with just simple training with little to no combat experience outside of that.

Now that she realized and experienced her first quest was not all sunshine and rainbows, she'll evaluate herself of what she did on the quest and train harder to overcome the mistakes, her fears and insecurities. That is why she will be training alongside Yugito who can help her. Likewise Percy will get a bit of help from Naruto to help control his powers.

Some might have noticed that Ares didn't curse Percy like in the books what with Kurama intervening. I just think that this will severely hinder Percy's fighting skills and look what happened when he fought Atlas! But I have another thing to replace it and it shall go along with Naruto training Percy.

Hexenbiest: Yes Naruto should have a different personality but I think that I should retain some of his original personality like his optimism to look at the bright side and never giving up attitude. I think this is the by product of the villager's abuse towards him which made him adopt of mask of happiness during his time in the Leaf Village. So its most likely a psychological problem embedded in him, I can sort of see that happening in canon Naruto - a mix of Kushina's personality and Naruto adopting a mask to hide his pain.

Also Hawkeye is a bit like an underdog along with Black Widow, they're just ordinary people with great fighting skills and weapons.
