You guys, you make my heart melt. 3 Remember, this is fiction.
They fell into a routine. Arizona would pamper Callie since she refused to remove the gauze in her hands, she'd order food, help her eat. At the end of the day, Callie would drag her to the bedroom to cuddle. After the initial shock and widening of her blue eyes, Arizona would let Callie pull her for a cuddle. After the 4th day, Callie felt better. There were no new spots on her skin, and it doesn't seem that itchy anymore.
Normally, Arizona would wake up earlier than Callie to buy/order food. But today was different. The blonde stretched and rubbed her eyes. It couldn't be past 6, still no sunlight. Arizona made sure that the curtains are a bit open so she will be forced to wake up. Feeling cold sheets, she sat up and rubbed her head. Looking for a clock or something, she noticed the curtains were shut closed. Damn! She might have overslept. She was sure she left it open. What time is it? She grabbed her phone. Maybe Callie's in the bathroom. 9:27! She woke up late!
Arizona was still trying to make sense of what happened and how can she-bang! Her thoughts were broken by something clanging in the kitchen. Standing up, she grabbed the robe by the chair and went out. Unwanted visitors. Ugh. Having Callie isolated to prevent her from spreading the virus was the best thing ever. Stuck in the penthouse with Callie? Best thing ever. Now that she's feeling better, maybe her friends decided to visit her. No more alone time with Callie.
Already preparing to be annoyed, she was ready to bombard whoever is making noise. What she was not prepared for was, Callie. In her very short robe. Those legs. Swaying to the soft music playing. Singing like an angel. Not like, she is an angel.
Smitten, Arizona froze. She just stood there. Leaning over the door frame, crossing her arms, still watching the brunette sway. Arizona bit her lips while she tilts her head by the frame.
Callie turned and stopped when she saw Arizona. "Oh hey. I was just making breakfast." She stuttered while she was preparing a plate of pancakes. "Here."
The blonde walked towards the counter where the plate of pancakes was. Arizona sat in the stool and paused. It was not just any kind of pancake. There were fruits on top of the fluffy pancakes in a form of butterflies. It was made of strawberries, blueberries and peaches. There was another plate of heart shaped fluffy pancakes.
"Its not much, but it taste good, as a thank you for thanking care of me for the past few days." Callie spoke up while watching Arizona stare at the pancakes. The blonde was just staring. The brunette spoke up again. "Chocolate syrup AND maple." Callie pushed it to Arizona.
The blonde was still frozen in her spot, so Callie walked around the counter and sat beside Arizona. "I didn't put any poison on it. Look." The brunette grabbed the maple syrup and pour some on a piece of the heart pancake and tried to take a bite. Tried. That's the word. TRIED.
Becaaaaaaause! Arizona just pulled it back before Callie can take a bite. "Hey!"
Arizona stared with determination. "You cooked this for me. This is mine." Then the blonde stood up, plate on hand, chocolate syrup bottle in her mouth and walked towards the room which she slammed it closed.
Picking up the phone, she was still staring at the pancakes. When the phone stopped ringing, "Need you, now." Smiling, she took some pictures of the pancakes Callie cooked.
Callie was a bit annoyed when Arizona left, with her pancakes. Then a little bit more annoyed when she was sitting at the balcony when the elevator dings and a young, beautiful, sexy brunette came up with a brief case, then Arizona came out of the room, they both locked themselves in the game room. She was even more annoyed when they came out after an hour or so grinning like whatever. The blonde gave her a hug. Which looked like an amorous hug more than anything.
Rolling her eyes, her mouth puffed more than she usually do. "Problem, princess?" Addison teased while she was reading a book, relaxing in the hot tub in Arizona's penthouse while Callie was relaxing on the lounge chair in the balcony. Callie just watched the blonde for a moment, grinning while walking back to the game room after taking the other brunette to the elevator.
Addison raised her eyebrows. The brunette put the drink she was drinking down. "The past few days were great! We were like-" she paused.
"Likeeeeeeeeeeeeee?" Addison teased. "Like what?"
"We were good, you know. She took care of me. Like really took care of me. She would help me eat, she would-" Callie paused and sat up. "Then I cooked her pancakes to thank her and she would just bang someone the same morning? I mean, what the actual fuck? You know what? Nevermind. It's just Robbins being Robbins."
Recognizing the woman who went up, Addison tried to level with Callie. "I thought you said Robbins was always different with you?" Not responding to what her friend said. The red head continued. "Maybe this was a different case."
"No no, there was a time that we were together and she just freaking left."
"Callie, just try to let her open up? She might not be the person you may think she is." Addison asked.
"Whatever Addie. Give me that mimosa." Callie drank it all up while eyeing the blonde who was working on her laptop in the counter. She gave her another stink eye when Arizona glanced to her and smiled.
Addison and Callie continued their chitchat when Mark walked towards them. "What's wrong with Robbins?"
"What do you mean?" Addison asked. Callie could care less, she was still annoyed.
"She's smiling." Mark sat by Callie.
"Maybe because she just got laid?" Callie snapped. Mark mouthed an 'oh shit' to Addison who just laughed. They didn't notice the blonde walking towards them.
"Calliope-" Arizona started but was interrupted by the brunette immediately.
"Don't! Do not 'Calliope' me!" Callie stood up and walked towards the hot tub with Addison, drinking the wine directly from the bottle.
"O-okay." The blonde stuttered. "Timothy just said we needed to drive down to Malibu for a company retreat or something for Eros. He said Aria will fly in tomorrow with him."
Callie tilted her head back and grunted. Not noticing the effect she had over the blonde.
"Beach and bikinis? Let's go!" Mark stood up so quickly that the lounge chair toppled over.
"I forgot the part that I invited you, Sloan." Arizona bit back. Driving down to Malibu was just a chance she needs to have Callie all alone.
The brunette squinted her eyes towards the blonde. "Let's go pack Addie. Meet us in the lobby in an hour, Mark." Callie stood up and walked past Arizona.
"Let's go." Callie wrapped her arms around Addison's and pulled her towards Mark's car.
"Are you really not going with Robbins?" Addison glanced back to the blonde who was still staring at Callie while packing her car up. "She looks like a wounded puppy."
"If I drive down with her, she's going to be wounded." Callie grunted and went inside Mark's car.
The red head jumped in the passenger seat. Arizona walked towards the car and stared at Callie. "I sent the details to your phone. I'll-uh meet you there." She tapped on the window sill twice and went to her car.
Callie rolled her eyes and watched her when Addison spoke up. "Wounded."
They arrived a little after 5. Sun was just beginning to set. "Wow. This is awesome. Margaritas and bikinis." Mark bit his lips and took his shades off. "Where is Robbins?" The man looked around. The infamous car was not in the car park.
"Probably sexing up some red head bimbo." Callie mumbled as she walks towards the bar. Mark and Addison shared a look and followed her. "Tequila."
"One or three shots?" The bartender asked as she pulls the bottle from the case. Callie raised her finger, indicating one. The bartender poured the bottle in the shot glass.
The brunette glared at her. "One bottle." The woman just stared at her and grabbed anew bottle and hand it over to Callie who opened it up and drank from the bottle. Her friends just followed her in the table overlooking the ocean. Callie just continued to drink from the bottle, Mark and Addison order food.
A little after an hour, Callie was staring at the most recent message from Arizona.
Took the I-5. Just stopped for a snack. Hope you guys are safe. I'll see you there.
Then, then. Callie looked up to the monitor.
"Just in, massive car crash in the Interstate 5. A huge oil tanker swerved and turnover….."
That was the only thing Callie can hear, she stood up and walked towards the lobby. "Have Robbins arrived yet?" The look on the receptionist was just confusion. "Arizona Robbins?"
"I'm actually not allowed to give out any guest's details."
"She's my-" Callie was about to say fiancée but it occurred to her that she haven't really, fully accepted that. Yet.
"Hey! Why are you running?" Addison asked as they arrived in the lobby.
"Robbins took the I-5. And-" Callie pointed at the receptionist. "This idiot wouldn't tell me if she's checked in!"
"Ma'am, as I was saying we can't-"
"Cal, calm down. That's just happened. And we've been for an hour or so." Addison calmed her down. She turned to look at the receptionist. "Their company just bought this resort. Now, if you don't want to piss off your new boss, just tell us if Arizona Robbins checked in yet."
The employee just widened her eyes and tapped on a few keys and looked up. "Sorry, looks like she haven't arrived yet. Either Calli-Callio-Calliope Torres has not checked in. There are two names here."
"I'm Calliope, Callie Torres. Nevermind." Callie walked away and pulled up her phone. Phone rang, and rang. Until.
This is Robbins. Do what you need to do. Beep.
"Robbins! Where the hell are you?"
Callie turned around when a hand was placed in her shoulders. "Pick up your damn phone!" Putting the phone in her pocket. "What?!"
The red head put her hands up. Callie mumbled a 'Sorry'. "Just check in, lie down. She'll be here soon. "
"She was supposed to be here! We left at the same time. And she was not in the bar, she's either sleeping or drinking!" She was clearly panicking, might be the alcohol but still, the blonde was still not there.
"Go. Go to your room." Addison said sternly.
Callie was going in to all the scenarios in her head when she heard the door of the hotel room rumbling. She quickly stood up and opened the door. "Where the hell have you been?" She yelled at the blonde who was just shocked, holding a box and her duffel bag.
"Uh."
"What?" Callie was still yelling.
"Why are you yelling?" Arizona questioned as she walked into the room. "I just bought something. Along the way."
"It took you an hour?"
"Long line." Arizona raised the box. "They said it was the best pizza here." Arizona placed the pizza over the table and sat down. "You seem mad. I mean I know you are. I just don't know what I did or what happened, so pizza." She pointed at the box.
Walking towards the pizza box, she finally noticed her hunger. Callie was running on tequila alone. She opened the box, it was a basic 4 cheese pizza. She couldn't help moan at the taste.
The blonde then drop the duffel and crossed her arms. "So, why are you mad at me?"
Hearing a mumble, Arizona raised her brows.
"There was an accident in the I-5. And I thought-"
Arizona smirked. Trying to hold it in. But the laughter just bubbled up. The brunette looked up.
"Don't laugh at me!" Callie stood up. "Do not laugh at me."
The blonde titled her head and smiled. Walked towards the brunette. "You were worried."
"I was, uh-not."
Arizona took another step. Callie instinctively steps back.
"Robbins, stop right there." The brunette nervously pointed at the ground.
Smirking once more. Steps forward. "You were worried."
"I wasn't. I was just-" Callie steps back again.
"You were."
Pausing where she stand, Callie raised her finger. "Okay! Fine! I was. Because-"
"Because?"
"Just stop where you are Robbins!" Callie insisted, since another step backwards will make the back of her knees hit the foot of the bed.
Stepping forward again, Arizona grinned. "Why?"
"B-because-" Nothing else was coming out of Callie's mouth.
Another step. "Because maybe you like me?"
To make some more space, the brunette tries to step back but the edge of the bed is just right there that made her sit on the bed. Looking up, she opened her mouth. "Robbins, I'm warning you."
Keeping her eyes on the brunette, Arizona leaned in. Almost face to face with Callie. "Stop. Robbins, you-" Arizona placed her hands on the bed and made Callie lie down.
Callie's head was in between her arms. Arizona leaned in, when Callie reached in to push her chest away. Arizona grabbed her hand, using it to twist the brunette's body as she lies down with her. She was spooning Callie from the back.
Trying to look over Arizona, Callie hissed. "Robbins, what are you doing?"
Keeping the brunette still, Arizona wrapped her arms around Callie. Putting her lips near the brunette's ear, she whispered. "Torres. I'm fine. I'm okay. I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere."
Sighing and letting a warm embrace. "I thought you were-"
Kissing the nape of Callie's neck. "I'm here."
Waking up with a smile and a blonde wrapped around her, Callie stood up and admired Arizona for a second before going to the bathroom to prepare. She couldn't take it to wake up the blonde who was sleeping like a baby, so she left a note and went down to eat. She still have to think about what she feels for the blonde, one morning they were okay then another there was another young brunette in the penthouse. Her stomach was already grumbling, having only eaten a slice of pizza and a half bottle of tequila, of course she was hungry.
Enjoying her breakfast with Addison and Mark, she gulped on her coffee while watching a confused blonde look around. When Arizona spotted her, she raised her eye brows at the blonde.
Looking from Addison and Mark, then Callie, Arizona put her hands in her pocket. The pocket of a very short cut off jeans. "You left."
"I left a note." Arizona's gaze was still scrutinizing her so she pick up a strawberry and handed it over to the blonde. It was unnerving. "Strawberry?"
Reaching in, Arizona grabbed Callie's wrist. "What the hell are- oh." Pulled it towards her mouth and devoured the strawberry whole, licking Callie's fingers while she was at it.
Mark and Addison watched with wide eyes.
"Mm. Still taste better eating it off you."
"Robbins!" Callie's face was flushed while her friends snickered at her sides. She hit Arizona not so lightly in the arm.
"Are you being inappropriate my little sister?" Arizona turned to see Timothy removing his sunglasses, dressed down into jeans, plain shirt and a baseball cap.
"Just telling the truth, Timothy." Arizona stared at her brother and Aria behind him, smirking.
"Mr. Robbins." A sultry Italian voice interrupted them.
"Dr. De Luca." Tim reached in to shake her hands but Aria's grasps his arm while Callie stood up. The doctor was wearing nothing but a tini-tiny bikini and a sarong, showing off her figure. "I hired her to be our new on-call doctor. She's doing her internship at the hospital so pulled some strings."
"What?" Aria snapped and glared at Tim. Callie joined Aria while Arizona stared at the doctor.
Tim leaned in and whispered something to Aria. The older Latina was about to yell at him when the man whispered again and Aria just rolled her eyes and shook her head.
Callie was watching them and didn't notice another blonde approaching them. Or more aptly, Arizona.
"Robbins." Another sultry voice called out. English accent. Everyone turned to look at the new comer.
"Hattie." Arizona's voice was full of surprise. The short haired blonde woman tilted her head. "What uhm, what are you doing here?"
"Term break. Wanted a little sun." The newcomer then made a gesture that made Arizona gulp, slowly revealing her creamy shoulders, showing off her collar bone, just leaving herself in a black tank top and a floral print skirt that shows off her legs. "So, I'll see you in the beach." Hattie then turned and swayed her hips enough that made Arizona bit her lips and watch her walk away. The dry spell isn't really helping her. Callie was staring at the drooling blonde while her brows flew up and her tongue poke out in concentration. Her brows knitted once more when she heard another annoying voice.
"You are very-naughty. I like it. I'm challenged." Said the Italian doctor who smirked and walked away. Arizona, then again watched the woman walk away. All the sexlessness is giving her a headache.
Callie squinted her eyes at Arizona, about to give her hell when Aria grabbed her arm and pull her away from the others and towards the beach. "Aria what?"
Aria just leaned in and whispered. "Let's go get some sun." She then pulled off her sun dress up, showing off her navy blue bikini, the older latina was a little slimmer than Callie herself. But she got curves in all the right places. Aria pulled her hair over her right shoulder while looking at Timothy.
Sputtering an inaudible 'Wow'. Tim exhaled and admired Aria. The older Latina is beautiful, but Arizona didn't notice when her own Torres pulled a black cover up. Callie was wearing tiny-tiny red bikini that literally blew her brains out.
Its just strings! Everyone's going to ogle her.
The view from behind made her sweat. Arizona tried to walk forward. "Torres-" The s in her voice faded when Aria and Callie turned to look at her. Callie then flipped her head and hair, almost like flipping Arizona since it made the blonde loose her footing and stumble into a chair, and a table. Addison snickered and Aria winked at her who followed them as well as Mark.
Stiff neck. She's going to have a stiff neck.
Arizona was on Callie like a hawk. All afternoon.
That tiny red bikini is not letting anything off her imagination. Tini-tiny triangles.
She was laying on a lounge chair, having asked or ordered the bartender to hand her drinks everytime her glass is empty. Callie, Aria and Addison were lying on their backs, sunbathing directly on the sand. With Mark sitting above their heads with a ice chest full of beers. Guys, girls were ogling Callie.
She was too. But it doesn't count because Callie was her, whatever. And she was in a dangerous place.
Immediately to her left is the Italian doctor, laying on her stomach. Now, she wasn't blind. The woman was hot. And the accent was just an instant turn on. Callie was the hottest woman ever. She is. But she haven't had sex in while and she was quite sure she can get it, but she have this feelings, feelings for Callie that makes her feel. Feelings sucks ass.
"Thinking quite hard?" Arizona lifted her sunglasses up to her head and stared at the short haired blonde. Hattie was, she couldn't quite explain it, her dynamic with the other woman was still a mystery to her.
She licked her lips and turned her focus to the woman. "Just relaxing."
Hattie was now wearing white two piece, smirking at Arizona. "Do me?" As she handed a bottle of sun block to Arizona.
Callie watched as Arizona's hands glides through the woman's shoulders, back, thighs, and legs.
"That's Hattie, Hattie Shaw." Callie turned to see Tim sit by Aria's side. "She's Arizona's, I don't know. Can't quite explain it. She's kind of like her kryptonite."
"Did you invite her too?" Aria sassy-ly turned to lie on her stomach and looked at Tim. With her boobs popping out.
"I-uh. Didn't, uhm." Tim breathe in. Wonderful boobs were staring at him. "Invite her. And the doctor was in our company now. We have some shares in the hospital she works at. And she just passed her internship so she has some vacations. Company retreats are part of their package."
"Then tell my sister why her fiancée needs a hot Italian doctor." Aria grumble.
"It's a rouse. You know I'm all for my sister to be a better human. And I thought making Callie jealous would push them together. Arizona likes a feisty woman. She can't help herself. Its very tempting to her." Tim explained.
"And?" Aria questioned.
"And you and your sister can be feisty! I don't know. Not my finest moment." Tim shudders. "Plus Arizona needs a doctor that would make her do things, she needs an annual check up. Our mom had heart conditions that we didn't know about and that stubborn girl needs to be in a good health."
Callie then stood up. With another look to Arizona who was busy drooling over her kryptonite, apparently. She needed a swim. Running fast, running like nothing matters. She dove into the water and swam a few meters away. She fixed her hair up and stared at the horizon.
"Your bikini is too small." Callie turned to see the blonde a few inches away from her.
Callie couldn't understand what she was feeling. It was too overwhelming. Maybe being stuck in the penthouse with the blonde just gave her some annoying feelings.
"So?" She raised her eyes at the blonde.
"It makes people have sexual thoughts about you." Knitting her brows at Callie, Arizona swam a little closer.
"Again I ask, so?" Callie gritted her teeth.
Arizona just stared at her. Then the horizon. "What am I to you?" She asked.
What was Arizona to her? An ex? A fiancée she has to marry to pursue her dreams? Images of the brunette that left Arizona's penthouse when she left, the Italian doctor, the red head she was hitting on, the short haired blonde pass through Callie's head.
Callie bit her lips and looked away from Arizona. "You are someone I have to endure to be with so I can be who I dreamed to be."
Arizona gritted her teeth and looked at Callie. A few seconds after, Callie felt that she was alone.
She tried to clear her mind. She swam further. Until she was tired, then she swam back. Upon arriving in the coast, she only found Mark drinking his beer. "Addie? Aria?" She asked.
"Addie went shopping. Aria and Robbins' brother had to attend the orientation of the employees." Mark answered while he sipped his beer. "Saw you talking to Robbins in the water. You two okay?"
Callie grabbed his beer and gulped the half of it.
"Why are you giving her a hard time?" He asked.
"What?" Callie snapped.
"I know we have been warning you, telling you that Robbins was an ass. But in the short time you two were together. You both made each other happy. I've seen you happier than you ever been. And I saw how broken you were when you decided to leave. Now that its in your face, why not take advantage?" Mark talked to Callie. He was an ass to everyone, but Callie was her friend. A genuine friend. He wanted her to be happy. And Robbins made her happy.
"Mark." Callie warned.
"Addie, she makes me weak. She made me feel things. But I met someone. That person made my world go round." Mark laughed. "She has this eidetic memory. She can recite the periodic table!"
"She doesn't feel that for me. She has all these women lining after her." Callie confessed. "Someone I dated hated me so much she left without saying anything. Another one never said I love you back even though I said it multiple times. I got cheated on numerous times. What do I have that they don't? Huh?"
"Her heart." Mark looked at her. "You have her heart."
"A couple of hours ago, she had a brunette coming out of her room!" Callie exasperated. "And now, the Italian doctor and the blonde hottie."
"Yesterday? I'm guessing that was Lexie. She told me she was going to Robbins. They are kind of friends. Lex, told me that Robbins asked for a favor earlier. Preserving something." Mark explained.
"Lexie? What kind of name is that? Callie laughed a little and helped Mark cleaned up a little. Picking up bottles and bottles caps and walked towards the resort.
"Lexie Grey. Her father's a drunk. They kind of bonded over their drunk dad when they both picked them up in a bar somewhere years back." The duo walked up to Callie's and Arizona's suite, it was getting late and they needed to prepare for the dinner party. "I like her. More than like her. And Robbins like you. More than like you. You just need to stand tall. Stand tall, Torres."
Mark put his hands up and Callie quickly hugged the man. Mark's arms were around Callie's shoulders and the other hand one was over her head, gently caressing Callie's hair.
Unknown to them, blonde with blue eyes was watching from the stairwell. In her drunk mind, it was an amorous hug. And the brunette just said she was just something in the way. A few minutes ago, the blonde just saw her dad making out with another woman, yet again. And it broke her. She was never going to be a decent person. She was a flirt like her father. An ass like her father.
Walking away, she focused on the room number in her head. Callie doesn't like her. She doesn't care. It was never mutual .She's going to leave too.
Knocking on the specific door, she propped herself on the door frame. With her seductive eyes, she focused on the woman who answered the door. "Are you ready for me?"
I'm so sorry. Drama, drama everywhere. And I just have a huge huge crush on Stefania Spampinato as Carina DeLuca, I think she's super hot. Like cute and hot at the same time. Ugh. Aaaaaand, Have you seen Vanessa Kirby as Hattie Shaw? OMG. Imma die. The English accent and the facial expressions just killed me. Aaaaand, the way Callie flipped her hair that made George stumble, I would, love to see that happen to Arizona. I like feisty Callie. Until next time lovelies.
