In the months following Voldemort's death, muggles and wizard lives underwent a series of dramatic changes.

Not least was the permanent rupture in space-time that linked the human world to the Otherworld, it took immense effort from both worlds to ensure the rift didn't widen further. It was this effort that revealed the Otherselves to muggles, in a world where everything can, and indeed will, be recorded. It didn't take long for them to become an international sensation, initially viewed with suspicion and fear, once what they were was properly understood it didn't take long for the first "Otherself Plushies" to be manufactured.

Dead Master's sold particularly well.

Despite the best efforts of the Ministry of Magic, the wizard world was also revealed to the muggles.

However, due to encountering the Otherselves first, the idea that there was an entire secret world of magic users didn't really surprise most people. Tensions rose in certain parts of the world, especially in the more religious areas. Although centuries of experience in hiding allowed the magic communities living there to easily avoid persecution.

Central London was declared off limits and a no-fly-zone, under the sole authority of the Otherselves. A vast magical barrier was put in place for the protection of humans, although there are rumours of certain wizards passing through and entering the Otherworld.

Black Rock Shooter stood at the edge of a cliff, above her is the cloudless blue sky of the Sky Gates.

She looked at the world around her, remembering when she last stood here twenty one years ago.

In the far distance, she could make out faint smudges of colour.

A world of many colours.

For a fraction of a second, a tiny smile appears on her pale face.
