'We need to talk when this is case is over!'
Granger knew he was in hot water with Hetty when he got that text. That day, he tried to keep Hetty from getting involved in a case involving a 'grey man' (translation: Ex CIA man who knew how to blend in in every enviroment or setting he was in), but he eventually caved and let her work on it.
Later that day in Hetty's office
'I know I know. Judging by that stern look on your face right now, I know I screwed up today.' He said.
'I'll say you did! What were you thinking keeping me off that case, Owen?!' Hetty responded.
'I just didn't think I needed your help with this one. Plus, I thought I could handle it myself.'
'Well you should've just told me instead of stonewalling me! We're partners, we should tell each other these things!' Hetty said.
'I know, and I'm sorry.'
'I accept your apology.'
'So, what do you want to do tonight?'
'How about, we just sit and drink, and maybe talk?'
'Works with me'. Granger responded.
